This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the world. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. This is what I would say if I couldnt be bothered to truly convey the excellence that spoons has blessed us with. Without exception spoons will always be there for you when you realise you cannot afford to pay your bills. Honestly, what would we do without it? There would be civil unrest I say! The public would pick up their arms and take their anger out on the local council, turning their town hall to rubble. Basically, you will never take our spoons away from us. In addition, the total number of people who wake up in their beds, knowing that last night was the best of their lives due to the fact that they had spent it in spoons, is so astronomically large that it is simply impossible to comprehend. In reality, it is !6*10^Grahams number. Truly a heart warming fact that I hope will bless you for the rest of time untill the universe ends in a spectacular heat death that clearly wont happen as we will know how to separate nothing into matter and antimatter whilst releasing copious amounts of energy for us to harvest that will be used to resurrect cryopreserved scientist in order for them all to come together in the final climate change summit in which they conclude that infact the meaning of life isnt 42, but we are just trapped in the 3rd dimension while our soul spills into the 4th. In conclusion, we love spoons.

A typical Spoons, very big and busy. If you like this chain you know what to expect. If you dont like it theres plenty of other establishments available

It is very clear to me that racism is apparent in this establishment. Me and my friends have been going here for 6+ years during school and sixth form. We return home for one night out and they refuse entry for one in particular (bearing in mind we are all 26it’s a disgrace. Foul and disgusting behaviour. Gentrification at its finest .

A cogent reminder that there is a hot meal to be had, a refillable drink, a place in the centre of town to sit for a few hours, for under £10. Good service, loads seating and plenty of choice. It’s not the Ritz-Carlton, but it’s dependable, good value and friendly.

Absolute shambles, we were there as part of a large group of individuals. Food was brought to a one of the six tables occupied whilst someone was guvunf a speechso all looking the other way. Food sat there with noone touching it. Which seemed odd 🤔. In comes the Shift Leader saying " there has been a mistake with other customers ordering on the app issue being they had ordered it to the wrong table." The Food had not been touched. Shift Leader then says because the food was put down on our table we would have to pay for it because we accepted it.The facts are when the food runner came he asked if this was table 12 and yes it was being a group of over 20 odd the food was places down. But again not touched. When asked to pay for food that was clearly not ordered by us we declined payment. The attitude of the Shift Leader was was very surprising 😮. Rude to say the least and would not listen to reason over the issue 🙄. At this point the full group was then refused anymore drinks with Shift Leader threatening us that if we dont pay we wont get served.Bring in the Shift Manger. On speaking with this gentleman hes agreed the food was a mistake however did not over rule the Shift Leaders strong views over 2 plates of chips and some chicken wings. We where told finish your drinks and leave. There was over 20 of us enjoying a retirement doo. To top it off, the people who ordered came and found their food and tool it to their table!!!It seems insane to be to all of a sudden start to threaten us for a mistake that was made by another customer and the food runner. Attitude of both staff was disgusting and both refuses to pop ide their names. Dont go here unless you want threated to pay for others peoples food and get told you spent getting served for that reason.

All in all I really think you are unable to beat Spoons for excellent value. The staff were helpful and cheerful, my curry was great and wife’s scampi was good , sadly was disappointed when our pancake orders were cancelled after order accepted as non available.I normally would have given 5 stars but our table and chairs were a bit grubby. An excellent Curry , fine scampi and chips, glass Chardonnay and a pint of Adams for 20 quid well…,, actually I am going to change stars back to 5

I love this spoons. Most workers are lovely however, last night I experienced a betrayal and a violation. I specifically ask the security if I left to give my friend her bag if I would be able to re enter. He promised me I would be allowed. As I tried to come back, with my id in hand, I was told I could not come back in. I embarrassingly started balling my eyes out but do not think this was an overreaction as my friends, bag and a whole pitcher was now trapped inside. He ruined my night and I had to get a taxi home. I will return to spoons however will not forget this traumatic experience.

They sell black dragon, which is good. Most of the beer tastes vaguely of line cleaner. The business itself is pretty deplorable. The rating is solely there because of black dragon and low prices.

Staff member who served us refused to accept valid forms of ID accepted in other spoons. You’ve got kids who are clearly under 18 drinking, but lets walk in and take away the drinks of someone who is clearly an adult. Watch out for the waitress of questionable intelligence.

The meal we ordered came on nicely warmed plates the food was hot and tasty served by a pleasant young lady with a lovely smile. We thought the deal we had of mains with an alcoholic beverage was very reasonably priced. It was extremely busy and the bar was a little slow but worth the wait despite not many staff when we did get served it was efficient and friendly. Our first visit to Cambridge on a retirees outing the Regal was a pleasant place from the heat of the day clean and tidy Would definately eat here again.

This place is what you would expect from a Witherspoon: Cheap & Cheerful. With it being an ex theatre, it has lots of space and two floors. It has a decent sized outdoor space but wouldnt recommend it if you are wanting a beer garden experience as its pretty much built up all around. Table service prompt as you would expect.

Ordered Two Jacket potatos and Two pints of Pepsi Max. The drinks arrived very quickly, unfortunately having watched numerous other tables being served, having arrived after us, we spoke to a server who said he would check for us. He came back and said there had been a problem with our order, but the kitchen were now doing our meald. We were still waiting 20 minutes later, again people who arrived and ordered after us recieving their orders quickly. We left having not recieved our food after an hour and 5 minutes, a very expensive Two pints of Pepsi Max at £14.90!!!. We will not be visiting this pub again

My 3rd visit to this spoons. First one was quite enjoyable but downhill faster than Klammer since then.Too many niggling little faults to keep asking for better but I drew the line at filthy cutlery and 3/4 minutes to rectify it (food goes cold you know).Wouldnt recommend.

Argyle on tour!! We walked the river Cam tow path and beautiful it was too. The only problem is all the crazy cyclists coming at you from all angles!! Finally made it to pub and had Steak and chips, Burger and chips and a Jalfrezi curry. All very nice. Good service. Its very big with an upstairs area where we were. Disappointed with no Ruddles or a real ale alternative. Had a pale ale which was average...

Me and a friend came up to have a look at the uni and I must say, very impressed definitely the highlight of this wonderful city. The local crackheads made every experience in here unique and interesting. Some say its the biggest pub in England. Sausages are great too and the pink monster will have you wired all day

Very disappointed with a wasted journey from Market HarboroughFollowed Google maps after annoying diversions. According to Maps the business was open. Arrived in the city, paid for parking, a long walk to the pub and restaurant only to find a note on the door: Closed for refurb (see photo). Was it too much trouble for a manager to update the business hours on Google maps?If I return, Ill update this review.

I gave 4 stars because your app for ordering doesnt work properly not because of the food or drinks. Because the steak was amazing with the chips the onion rings and everything else. Thank you very much. I highly recommend and I will definitely go back there👍🏻👍🏻😋😋

It was the first time when i visited this place and i really like it. The food it is good and definitely i will come back soon. The only think that i didnt like is the waitress skirts .... they are too short ... i understand that is about the restaurant marketing but still ... i woudnt want to be in the positions of this girls.

Delicious foods and various kinds of drink with cheap price. But sometimes it’s very busy so it takes up to an hour to only get a drink which is very annoying. The staffs are not kind or nice they tend to be quite rude. Wouldn’t go here if the foods and drinks were this cheap.

Amazing food, I really havent expected that they can serve a good pizza (chicken BBQ😍). It is safe to go there during corona times (max 6 people at one table allowed and no interaction with other tables). They check yoyr ID twice - at the entrance and after you order and pay for the beer, which is strange...

My favourite place to eat in Cambridge, all the pizzas, burgers, wings etc. Also the customer service is great they are willing to help you and if they mess something up they give you free cake or juice just to make things right. Really appreciate this place.

Very spacious Wetherspoons in a nice old building and although it was busy it didnt feel too crowded. Went on a Saturday at 2pm and found a table quite quickly. Ordered on the app and had drinks within ten minutes, and queues at the bar werent huge either. Downisdes: Ive probably had about 200 burgers in Wetherspoons across the land and this was the only one where the bun was cold and stale. Also I ordered the gourmet burger which comes with six onion rings, this came with five and two of them were absolutely tiny. Both are small things but when the food at any Wetherspoons is generally of the same standard, it was noticeable.
