The Red House - in Marrakech, Morocco
Very delicious and amazing decor and vibes.Service was bit slow.
Me and the wife didn’t stay here, but we ate at the restaurant. I got to say the food was amazing. The sea food bastilla with coriander was 100% spot on… Me and the wife wanted to know the recipe lol.
Visited today (July 14, 2022and wow, what a beautiful historic and traditional building! The photos don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing ambience, with great traditional live music and excellent service (better than our 5 star hotel!). Super delicious food (lamb tagine - chef’s kissand great drinks. Only good things to say and many thanks to our waiter who was wonderful.
My friends and I had an absolutely lovely dining experience at The Red House restaurant. The staff was exceptional, the decor opulent, and the food delicious and reasonably priced for such a nice place. We enjoyed the Medallion Blanc wine, the lamb tagine, and the moelleux au chocolat dessert in particular. Traditionally Moroccan live music added to the already fantastic atmosphere. Cant wait to dine here again next time Im in Marrakech!
Lovely staff and huge portions, would come again!
Very good hotel, mainly for couples (no separated beds)
Once again I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Red House. Truly an oasis from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Where are you feel safe truly served and a real sense of family. This is maybe my seventh or eighth time and I can’t imagine coming to the city without staying at my Touchstone. Abdell the manager is a true gentleman and will help you with everything you need to know about a very complex city. If you can get the two bedroom suite with a veranda wrapping around the entire building. You will truly feel like royalty. If you get to meet Abdell please tell him hello from Craig in Thailand. We will do something special for you.
Fantastic hotel. Exceptional service, great rooms, excellent location, very good breakfast, what else can you ask for? Highly recommend.
We only went for a dinner provided by our tour group. The restaurant was very nice. The food was good and the service was excellent.
We stumbled upon this little gem whilst googling restaurants in Marrakesh. The dining room is opulent and beautiful, service excellent and the food was delicious. The beef tagine melted in your mouth. A great selection of local salads and knaffe for dessert- which you must try. All in all a 5 star review. One to remember for our next trip.
Wonderful dinner and atmosphere—very attentive staff! We will definitely visit again when we are in Marrakech!
Superb food especially the lamb tagine lovely place and very friendly staff. This is a must visit when in Marakesh.
Very very nice address! Impeccable service, delicious wines, very very warm welcome and top-notch catering!
Had a fabulous dinner here on my last day of a two-week trip in Morocco. Lovely little salads to start and then an unusually fabulous beef tajine. A delicious creamy desert for the finish. Each dish had a bit of a French flair to it. The walls are tiled with exquisite designs, and the whole setting was beautiful. The wait staff was very efficient and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will make a point of dining there again if Im ever again in Morocco!
Food was perfect, great service, the guys couldnt be any more friendlier and place looks fantastic!Well worth a visit, lamb Tagine was too sweet for me as Im not use to having main meals that are sweet but the chicken Tagine is probably the best ive ever had. 😋
Visiting the Red House when you’re in Marrakech is an absolute must! The restaurant is authentically decorated and the food is absolutely divine. Trying the tagine with lamb and prunes is highly recommended, this dish is stunning and will surprise you with the unique flavors of Marrakech! The Red House has a lovely atmosphere and staff are very friendly. The restaurant is close by the Cyber Park and definitely worth the detour.
Incredible atmosphere, fantastic food, and truly 5 star service. This is the very definition of a hidden gem! I would highly recommend this What
We had a great lunch here outside. Very nice and hospitable people, and a really beautiful setting.
We stayed at the red house and ended up eating at the restaurant as wanted a quiet evening .What a surprise dinner this was! Absolutely delicious food and the ambiance very nice. Try the lamb and prunes tagine. Honestly the best I ever had! We ended up cancelling a reservation elsewhere the next day and decided to eat there again.
I initially searched for this restaurant as it was close to my hotel. Then we decided to go to another restaurant... Which was a major mistake. The Red House was amazing. We went for dessert initially and it was so delicious that we decided to go back for dinner. The dinner service was even better than the dessert service. The bread was delicious. We appreciated the start. The bread was soft and fresh. The staff was delightful and remembered us from the night before. We had four different entrees and each was even more delicious than the next. This is officially declared the best dinner in Morocco (at this point, Ive been in Morocco for six days). We also enjoyed an amazing wine which was both sweet and dry.We decided to again partake of dessert to try the remainder of the dessert menu and we were again not disappointed. The chocolate cake, the ginger creme brulee, the apple tart were all amazing.Should I find myself in Marrakesh again, Ill be staying and eating at The Red House.
Beautiful place with amazing staff very nice. We were slightly disappointed with the food given the standards of the place, hence the 4 stars but we had good experience overall
Iconic upper echelon dining in marrekech, this is the eat in a fancy ornate dining room with good food. Highly recommend the lamb. The wine list is about as comprehensive as one would hope for marroco. Will definitely come back
Came here for our anniversary dinner tonight while holidaying in Marrakech. After looking around for nice restaurants we came across The Red House and we werent disappointed. Everything that we ate was fantastic and its safe to say that we could come back if we were here on holiday again. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Cannot find fault with anything. They deserve every single star!
If youre staying in Marrakech you must eat at this restaurant. It isnt the cheapest but the food and service are some of the best Ive ever had. The building itself is beautiful with mosaic tiles everywhere. Would definitely recommend.
The Red House was a lovely experience and atmosphere. Beautiful building with the most stunning mosaic architecture, live music, attentive staff and wonderful food. The menu wasn’t big so you were not overwhelmed with choice. Traditional Moroccan or french cuisine. I went with the prawn bisque, chicken and candied lemon tagine and the rice and almond rolls. The soup was a large portion so if not a big eater, I’d skip or try something else. The main was delicious, but be cautious, it’s piping hot. The desert was delicate, flavoursome and very enjoyable. Price wise, the food is reasonable as are the soft drinks. Wine is on the expensive side but to be expected in such culture. A must visit !!
This boutique hotel offers spacious, well appointed rooms. My room and bathroom were clean, the bed comfortable and the shower nice and hot. It had an appropriate sized TV. The namesake restaurant is ... well ... fabulous. The breakfast want buffet style, but the food offered was TASTY!!I will not hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to friends.
One of the beat restaurants in town! The restaurant is located close to the center but as soon as you step in, it gets really quite. The layout is beautiful and peaceful for a nice lunch or dinner.Food was just amazing! We ordered 3 main plates and it was a lot of foos for 3 of us, so I think 2 plates plus an entree is good for 3 people.Tip: get the veal! Just delicious.
Review for the restaurant: Great food , great service with attention to detail, great location. We loved this place so much that we returned almost ever night for dinner. Typical Moroccan athmosphere...very attentive service ..great morroccan and international food. Reasonable prices.
Four of us went for a meal out. The staff & attention to detail was excellent. From starters through to deserts the food was some of the best we have eaten out. We tried the Moroccan Rose recommended by our waiter , excellent. For the quality and service we received it was not an expensive night out. Well worth a visit.
Just ate here and I have to admire the decor of the place and how nice the waiters are. The food was very good and compliments to the chef and it was great to see the chef in person.
RESTAURANTSuch an amazing place. Starting from the members of staff, everyone is very kind and helpful. The Hotel, the restaurant and the pool area are very relaxing and peaceful. The service is outstanding they will go above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable and they will provide you with a full Moroccan tast. Breakfast is AMAZING, freshly baked pastries and all sort of sides. The restaurant is definitely the best in Morocco, the food is fresh, the service is 10 out of 10, the atmosphere is great and relaxing. I will definitely be staying here again.HotelA REAL PALACE!No words can be found to explain this Hotel. The whole experience was amazing from the beginning to the end. Abdul and his team were AMAZING, he and his team will provide you with a real customer experience from the moment you step in through the gates. Abdul arranged a English guide tour for us, and gave us several advises in what to do and what not to do in Marrakech, he welcome come us with an amazing Moroccan tea and some treats. I’m a Customer Experience Manager for a big organization and honestly Abdul and his team’s customer service will be mentioned at the company I work for as an expemple of customer service. The hotel is amazing, very traditional, the walls are well decorated, the rooms bring you back in time, the pool area is GORGEOUS AND QUIET, the entire place just relax you so much. The break fast is well served and you can choose to have in the garden by the pool. I’m amazed with the place, honestly I can not wait to be back.
Delicious traditional food with big portions. Desserts are also amazing. A good variety of local wine (e.g. grey wine). Environment (a big colourful salon with candles and lux decorationin combination with the live music create a romantic atmosphere.
Very hospitable place, beautiful decor and comfortable rooms. The staff were very attentive and helpful, especially Abdel and Muhammed, and the food in the restaurant was great. It is just outside the hustle and bustle of Marrakech but still within walking distance of most things. Would definitely recommend this place
Excellent food in generous portions, from both the Moroccan and international menus. Service generally very good indeed and the dining room is beautifully decorated. The restaurant sort-of spoiled us for anything else in the area really, the other places we ate at when we ventured out were very disappointing in comparison.Onto the hotel side: The bedrooms are also very nice with good size beds and bathrooms, and the spa treatments are great too, even adapted the hammam to be suitable for pregnant ladies! The pool was a little chilly for us in early March, though there were a couple of sun worshippers who used it to cool down in between their baking sessions and it suited them perfectly for that. Breakfast was lovely every day, with a pre-order each night beforehand. We took ours mostly in the beautiful garden, beside the pool, opting for the restaurant on a couple of occasions when we were up before the sun had chance to warm things up. If you have a room larger than a Princess Double you could have taken breakfast in your room, we just didnt have a suitable table really.Cant leave a review without mentioning Abdel, who was the epitome of the Moroccan welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us an excellent briefing on the city the afternoon we arrived, as well as organising trips for us.Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Marrakech.
Best Moroccan cuisine in our 10 days in Morocco. Gorgeous setting, attentive staff, wonderful lute musician. Magical and romantic!
We ate lunch here, it was lovely! We sat at a little table outside by the pool that felt like we were in a little birds nest. Very quiet. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. We ordered the mixed rolls, harira soup, and the tanjia. All very delicious!Would definitely recommend. Great atmosphere and food.
Beautiful restaurant with amazing Moroccan archite ture and decor serving excellent Moroccan cuisine. Very godd wine list with tasty Moroccan and French wines. Service is very professional and friendly.
Amazing food, service and interior. We‘ve been there for new years eve and had a belly dance while 3 course dinner. It was great. One of the most expensive restaurants in the city
We ate a late lunch here. It was fulfilling all expectations.3 courses and each tasted wonderful. I tried the local cuisine as well as the international dishes.Mixed Cocktails as you need them.Really (!great service. Super friendly, even they hardly speak English.Additional a beautiful location inside and outside. We eat in the garden. There is a cosy green canopy with a table. Pretty romantic.
Very good food and attentive service with a personable approach. Good wine too. Recommend a visit - though be prepared for European prices. Need was excellent and carpaccio also. Vegetarian tagine was also good (given general poor quality of these in other restaurants , this was a pleasant relief!)
This is probably our fave restaurant in an area full of delicious options. The service is impeccable. Everything is delicious, but esp the lamb! We love the mosaics and attention to detail. Mesmerizing at twilight as the light changes & the colors come alive. Truly a special place.
A fantastic hotel. Staff are lovely, accommodating and they take time to get to know you as a customer. Highly recommended for a dinner, the interiors are stunning (traditional Moroccanand they do beautiful couscous dishes with lamb. A hidden treasure in Marrakech!
A little oasis! Fantastic location close to everywhere. Kingsize rooms and beds. A breakfast to die for, oh my so perfect! Relax at the pool, do a little work from your room, enjoy a great dinner at the restaurant, and let yourself be guided by the professional and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
The most beautiful service in Marrakech. We had a fantastic evening at this beautiful restaurant. Best tagine we had our entire stay. They also have an international menu for those looking for alternatives. Portions were very large. Price was very reasonable compared to everywhere else we have been. The dining room is stunning with the amazing tiling and chandeliers. Again, the staff were impeccable! Highly recommend
Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere, good food and very pleasant staff. A not to miss place to dine when youre in Marrakech!
Amazing food and the staff were so funny. The people in Morocco are so friendly and this restaurant was no exception. A nice surprise when they brought us over some yummy soup on the house!
If youre looking for fine dining this is your place! The restaurant is so beautiful and creative with the mosaics you dont know what to look at first. There were five of us, and the service was perfect. The food came for all on time, it was delicious, the hospitality etiquette was perfect. Great place to try!
The restaurant decor is beautiful and the food is presented well. I had the shrimp bisque, fish tangine, and creme brulee. There was nothing bad about the food, but I didnt finish the meal excited.
Absolutely outstanding. The waiters were so kind, between each course they went out of their way to ask how everything was tasting and if we were enjoying ourselves. The food itself was very delicious. The place itself is beautiful as well. Should not miss The Red House if you are in Marrakech.
This is certainly the most beautiful restaurant Ive ever visited. The atmosphere is great and the service phenomenal. The food was incredibly delicious as well. I have coeliac disease and they made sure that my food is completely gluten free. Visiting The Red House has been my highlight in Marrakesh so far! I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this city.
