Good food and good music on the day we went. Went on a Saturday and the vibe was really good!

Alittle too crowded for my liking. But otherwise, good place for a night out.Food was good and service great as usual.

A good place to chill and enjoy some fresh music, was a very ambient environment, food and services are also really great.

Great vibe, good place to have a night out with friends. Decently priced as well.

Great food liquor music and crowd. Nothing to complaint. Place is a little packed. Downstairs is also good if you want to hangout with friends. If your focus is music and dance, upstairs is great. Upstairs usually needs pre reservation.

Nice place to chill. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Food was great. Live band was performing to entertain the guests. Overall a good experience.It’s better to check whether they have any vacant tables before you go there.

Chilled out ambiance with pretty good music bands every week.We came here on a Saturday evening & I think we walked in too early because it was empty and the band playing that night was testing their sounds. We ordered a couple of drinks. The mojito was just a squeeze of lime in a glass filled with crushed ice. Not worth it at all, but the other drinks were great. I love the decor there. Definitely worth another visit only for the music and the fun.Downstairs the food was not worth the price and not that great.Quite dissapointed with the place, although it used to be a high class place, the quality has dipped immeasurably, there are rats galore, all over the place (speaks for the quality of the food)Along with that the waiters are rude and do not work on the customers but rather are more like short order cooks looking for the quick orders and resisting any discussion on whats on offer.The food is hit and miss, not upto the standards that were previously held and the manager makes deals which he later on reneges on. Not worth the effort, better to visit next innings which is closeby and much more attentive to its client base.The good thing which adds the star was magic box mixup who were terrific as per usual..They can do better with the way they treat customers.

Used to be one of the top bars in Colombo with the nicest aesthetic and ambience. But since recently, its been deserted - tried last Thursday for ladies night but it was empty around 7.30 or 8pm and we turned back. I think they have redone their interiors, but people arent too interested anymore. Suggest them to bring back Minesh and other acoustic singers for after-work sessions like earlier.

Its cozy and very elegant place, either you can spend some alone time or quality time with your friends. love the interior and the service as well.

No need of interest, i made a reservation for table, but Im unable to enter once i get out they wont let me enter - Bandara from Bouncer.Worth place i have ever visit. Not Recommending, at least you should implement band of kind of thing to recognise.

A well setup place, menu is a bit on the pricey end but great service by the staff. Has an outdoor set up as well, however if it rains the inside area gets crowded.Went in for an event organized had a blast.

Their food is pretty good, service was adequate. The ambience indoors is great, but the outdoor area seems a little rundown.

Republk has a good reputation for their cocktails which has stood the test of time. Great ambiance. Service, however, has been poor with food ordered taking extremely long. Music is far too loud, especially on days the pub isnt at all crowded

Had a bad experience with subpar unqualified staff who do not know to respect customers. Spoke to the management and they sorted the issue out. But the last time went here, the security was shouting in raw filth at one person who he denied entry to. So clearly there is something fundamentally wrong here. They management is great, but the staff need a wake up call. The food is good and the drinks good too, but the while experience with those staff members just put me off.

This is my first time at RePubLK. The ambience was really great. The food quality was okay for the price. The portions were really worth the money. Good place to hangout with friends for drinks. They do have music on weekends as I’ve heard.

Quiet a good place to hangout with friends and family in colombo.Staff and food seems good. For the price the service seems to be less.Do not go for Milkshakes, it is just raw milk and some syrup of chocolate. Not recommending at all.There is a liquor bar in this.Bar is ok. Prices seems to be good. during 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. day time liquor is not served. (Government regulations).

Friday nights here can get can really crowded and busy. The service was slow. The food was good. Reasonably priced. But the music was just too loud and it was difficult to have a conversation or even to place an order. You can park your vehicle right in front of the pub and one of the staff will keep watch. You have the option to chose from smoking or none smoking when reserving a table. Reservations is a must for fridays and weekends.

I just love this place. Please visit in the happy hour because it is worth it. The cocktails are great, the gloomy but romantic surrounding is amazing for a casual date. On the day I visited this place there was a solo singer playing a guitar. He is super talented and the crowd also could join with him to sing. It was a cool night. Washrooms are clean, food is great but the portion is not sufficient.

It’s an amazing place with amazing music. They always have a live band perform at every weekend. They play soft rock, grunge metal, pop music and various other genres too. It’s not a pricey place but the atmosphere and crowd is truly peaceful to be with. Whoever visiting this place should try for the chicken pizza because it’s really tasty and much better than the pizzas you get around the city. The staff is very helpful.Remember to come by an Uber or park somewhere away from this place as the roads are very narrow and would be a problem to park your own vehicle.

Dear owner, a very stylish restaurant.And the food is probably not bad, but the management is very bad.We went in three times. No coffee in the evening. In the morning, the establishment is closed. Question, when is coffee?We went to the last time. Have ordered and asked the waiter food without pepper? Said no pepper!They brought super spicy dishes. Then he admitted that the meat is cooked in advance. French fries are also cooked in advance ?!Do not eat food, while your manager was sitting nearby and did not specify what the problem was.Check staff work!thanks

I visited this place with couple of my friends at night. The place looked bit crowded but nice atmosphere inside. They have a nice roof top area where people hangout and dance to the DJ. Good foods, good vibes.

Totally love the place and its atmosphere. Insides look very decent and attractive. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not that crowded. There was a good DJ. All the food we tried were really good.

Went here on a Tuesday and although it was open there was no guests there. It could be due to the the country still recovering from April.Despite having zero guests the staff didnt seem that interested to serve eagerly. They were very slow and showed little interest is serving us.The layout and the interior was quite nice and the place seems to be well kept.

Well, that was not the best. The band kept on testing till it was time for us to leave. Might have been good for late nighters but then again not all of us can do that. Alcohol beverages were a tad bit expensive but.. the ambience of the place was fine, and cool. Interior design is pretty good.

It’s a nice place to have a casual dinner or drinks on the terrace. It’s quite cool and they have overall a nice menu with food and cocktails.However the cocktails, as some other comments said, doesn’t have much alcohol and are extremely sweet (even shots). That’s not exactly what I was expecting for a cocktails place.The service was extremely nice, although it was not a crowded night which helped surely.

Great place to chill, we went a day before Christmas Eve, they had an MC over who was running a quiz... Very nice engaging environment. Good food, small portions but worth it. Service was good and staff very pleasant. Hard to get a table, we were very comfy at the bar though.

Overall good place but felt like cocktails doesnt have the right liquor quality it supposed to have. And the biggest disappointment was they didnt have beer pitchers or towers.I think they should have it.

Good use of limited space. Great ambiance to chill no matter what day of the week it is. Alcohol and food prices are reasonable but the finger food portions are relatively small. Friendly and fast customer service. Would recommend booking a table if you heading out on a busy night.

One of the best places to chill on a weekend with cocktails. They have a happy hour starting from 5 p.m. The snacks here are good too. Would recommend this place to hangout with friends for a drink.

One of the best in colombo for cocktails.. The food is tasty and the price is reasonable.. Reservations are recommended before visiting this place.. They have a good selection of food compared to other pubs and bars near dutch hospital.. Had a great time here!!!

It is a small pub across two floors in a trendy area in Colombo fort. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Entry is somewhat restricted. Difficult to get a table when I went. The prices are a bit steep. They do not have lion beer on tap. They have a live band but the musical atmosphere isnt that great. If you are not budget conscious or are a foreigner this is definitely recommended.

Loved the quietly lit casual lounging ambience here. They offer free cocktails to ladies between 8pm to 9pm. Although these cocktails hardly have any alcohol. Great tasting food - they have a good chef! The staff is friendly and the outdoor lounging area is just dreamy... I do feel that they should put bigger coffee tables..

Excellent vibes, good cocktails - the place to be before going out to the clubs !The staff isnt really good at handling the crowd, they tend to mix up / forget / bring the wrong orders ( I experienced all three on the same night! Yikes! )If theres that one friend that doesnt drink - give the bill to him/her!Despite all this Re.Pub.Lk is still a pretty good place to start your night out!

If youre looking for a place where the beer flows like wine you found it... because the beer is served at room temperature. For the initiated warm Lion beer tastes like Satans piss after a healthy serving of asparagus washed down with Mountain Dew.The food is good though making this more of a restaurant/bar than a bar/restaurant.

Delicious food and good staff to serve quickly. Nice place to gather with friends. Indoor and outdoor seatings. Large range of food, cocktails, mocktails, wine and liquor to choose. Must visit bar.

The place is nice, not a place for two people to enjoy a cheap beer, but if its a group of people looking to hangout and dance a bit its really nice. And on Thursdays they have a great live band that can make things more interesting.

Nice cosy place. Went there after a food festival. We only ordered mocktails and we got exactly what we asked for.

A good place for dinner and drinks with friends. Impressive interior decor that creates a great ambience. It gets crowded on Fridays. The terrace on the upper floor is awesome but if its the rainy season its recommended that you choose/reserve a table inside. The food is good and the prices are okay as well. The staff is friendly.

Brilliant new place in the middle of the city. Indoor seating is nice and comfy with outdoor seating as well. The food is top notch and the drinks are great too. Recommend the pulled pork Bao buns.
