The Rabbithole - Restaurant in Darwin, Australia
It was just a good taste, too much expensive for the basic meals they have. It’s was yummy thou.
The food & drinks were great. We had milkshakes & cold drip coffee which were all great. The communication with staff was difficult when trying to understand an intolerance so opted for a different meal as staff couldnt confirm ingredients. This was disappointing but the meals we did have were great.
Great fresh grinds 🫘, wonderfully balanced fusion foods, attentive service with a smile, kid friendly… I could go on but if you arent convinced by now you never will be.
The Rabbit Hole was recommended to me as a great place to get coffee and it was near to my destination so I gave it a go. There was a line up out the door which was a good sign! Despite that the line moved quickly and my coffee didnt take long. It was good! This is clearly a popular brunch spot too.
Nice coffee. We enjoyed our GF breakfast.Friendly staff.Would have been great if cafe was cleaner !
Great coffee here. Shot indoor or outdoor. Busy when we were there in the morning but service still timely.
the best staff in any cafe in the city @ Darwin! The service here is amazing, so friendly and they go above and beyond to make everyone comfy and happy. The food is epic - I am enamoured with this cafe and it is my regular every time I’m in Darwin. I will always come back here for the food, service, all rounder. +++ it’s probably the best coffee yet that I’ve had in Drw too. Perfect! Thanks guys! Keep being you! This place makes me happy!
Great location in the mall, busy spot for breakfast but service relatively quick. Coffee sizes not so generous but still strong and made well, food really tasty and filling. Go early to ensure a seat for breakfast in the tourist season. Worth the visit for sure.
Awesome menu, lovely staff and delicious food. Got the smashed avo with vegan cheese and a side of mushies. It was amazing. The fennel, and pickled onion and relish made it extra tasty. Nice to have a few vegan options.
Good food, large selection of food and drinks. Friendly staff :)
Amazing coffee, vibe and food.
Nice spot on the Mall to have a quick bite and coffee. Was impressed they served lunch later than some other cafes around here. Felt like I was at a local cafe rather than a tourist spot. Food and coffee was good
We went in around 8.30am on a Saturday, and there were still many tables available. However the tables fills up quickly after 9am. Good selection of dishes on the menu. You order at the counter. Food service was slighty slow. We tried the smoked salmon and the miso benedict. The dishes were a good portion size and tasty. The matcha was milky and too sweet, matcha wasnt strong enough..would not recommend the drink. We were visiting from Melbourne and were happy with our breakfast overall, would recommend!
Heard alot about this place, so tried it for breakfast. Was a bit disappointed. Food was ok, not great. Drinks were probably better than the food.
Great menu and coffee is good. Just a few little things to improve. Coffee could be a little hotter (but not too much), poached eggs were a little over done (not too muchand there was not enough bbq sauce on the b&e roll (but the roll was delicious).
Had the most delicious eggs benedict here twice. Great service. Gets crowded, but both time we got table straight away. Thank you
Quick coffee, great breakfast. Clean tables and very lovely staff. Right in the heart of town can’t fault. Breakfast was quick and didn’t disappoint even though they were very busy! Would happily go again next time!
This place is always busy so it’s a slight wait for a table and the food but absolutely worth it as everything is so yummy and the staff are all so polite. :)
Looked it up before arriving and definitely lived up to the reviews. I wanted good coffee but also good food, but not a burger. I had the big breakfast and my partner the mushrooms. Both delicious. Coffee was excellent as well
Lovely place to have breakfast or brunch. A ton of options for coffee and smoothies, delicious and nicely presented dishes. Absolutely recommended.
Vegan avo toast option was incredible. Flavours were spot on. Was quick too considering how busy they were. Thanks!
Great for breakfasts, gets very busy at peak times but worth a little bit of queuing. Really good coffee and the food we had really good. Friendly service as we’ve come to expect in NT and not breaking the bank either.
It’s a busy place but the turn around is quick, so it’s worth waiting for a few minutes for a table. The service can be a bit patchy but you are never ignored. Food is delicious. We went here twice and would be regulars if we lived in Darwin.
Thought the Korean toast was interesting, probably need no introduction for this place, certainly worth a try here!
Had a lovely breakfast here.Food was a little slow coming out, unfortunately with the staff shortages it can’t be helped. So be patient. The Staff were really friendly and attentive.
Very busy café with quite a good menu and nice coffee. Biggest negative for me was sitting at the bar watching flies cluster around the open chocolate sauce bottles with no caps. No caps visible so I can only imagine that it isnt uncommon. We informed the (very busystaff so hopefully something has been done about it.My wife loved the potato rosti. This is not just relating to the Rabbithole, but I cant understand why sourdough bread is so popular in cafés for toast! You often need a chainsaw to get through the crust!
A pleasant surprise on a Sunday morning with few options open in the area. Decent coffee and prompt service.
I have been coming here for almost 6 months now. Unfortunately this will be my last time. Coffees are arriving cold. Meals are constantly wrong with basic variations. I literally have had a problem the last 4 times.
Excellent customer service 😀Menu choices looked great👍We had the Mushrooms on toast (added eggsand the Granola bowl plus a juice and smoothie.. both dishes and drinks were deliciousWould recommend 💯
We had a fantastic breakfast, staff, food and coffee were all 1st class🤩
Came here with my wife over the Easter weekend. Not too busy, lovely ambience, charming chap at the counter. Delicious salmon Rösti. Had the white and tonic cold brew both great also.
Super friendly staff and great food. Arrived just after flying into Darwin late in the afternoon and feeling quite hungry. Guys were super helpful and kept the kitchen open to get us fed. Really good food and coffee and prices were just right 👌🏻
We are up from Melbourne and been hunting for a good coffee. This place was exceptional and the food absolutely amazing. In our 10 day visit we have been here 4 times for breakfast - nothing compares!
We had a great breakfast, very well presented, quick and delicious. Coffee was the right temperature and brewed very well. Staff were engaging and friendly. The only small negative was the inside dining area was extremely hot which made the experience a little uncomfortable. Overall definitely a great establishment with good food and staff.
Wow! A wonderful breakfast! I had the Bruleed Yoghurt and my husband had the Granola Parfait. Both outstanding. The ambiance is not great, almost cafeteria-ish, but the service was excellent... those gents never stop moving. My one critique is the chai latte. It was bitter and undrinkable. The coffee was good according to my husband.
Great place for brekkie , nice large serving sizes , one green eggs and ham can feed 2-3 people depending how hungry we are and yes I like green eggs and ham, I do, I like them Sam I am!The Yuzu juice was also Amazing.
Good customer service and atmosphere. The coffee and big breakfast were average.
I loved the vibes. The customer service was really good too. I ordered the vegan avo smash and loved it. Also the coffee were really good. Recommended.
Unique menu for morning meals, generous portions by far compared to other cafe and delicious too. Couldn’t find near by parking, perks of having cafe at centre of city lol. Will try latte and toast next time.
Absolutely delicious. Generous servings. Had the coconut black sticky rice, partner had the korean scrambled eggs. Definitely would go back. Highly recommend to everyone.
Great coffee and friendly staff. Amazing breakfasts in a modern chic setting. If breakfast is the word of the day then do not go past this place -- especially the salmon.
Amazing selections for breakfast! And very good coffee! We got the sticky rice and latkes and were very impressed- their salad and burger list also looks amazing so we cant wait to go back for a lunch. Lovely service and lots of places to sit in a bright space or outside. If you are in town, I would highly recommend popping by🐇
Definitely the one of the top 3 or even the best breakfast in Darwin. Great plating presentation, nice flavours, staff really friendly and smooth service. Great dining experience. It would be great if interior design not so plain.
Amazing veg big brekky. Juices were great too. Photos posted are veg big brekky, eggs my way (i request berries on side, and the humble man didnt charge me for), korean breakfast plate was the best... 100% recommendedSuggestions for owners: 1. Chai Latter needs some attention, 2. Kindly serve steak knife with sourdough bread.Overall amazing.
Delicious food, big serves, really friendly staff. Nice fresh juices and bread. Lots of seating inside and out. The coffee was also good. I do wish theyd ditch the plastic straws though.
Had a coffee there in the morning and was so impressed I went back for lunch and was not disappointed at all. The chicken burger with spicy sauce was divine and the cucumber apple drink washed it down perfectly. Great prices and awesome service from very attentive wait staff....I’ll be back for sure.
Excellent healthy food options, don’t miss the granola, just great! Stop by for a refreshing snack or a nice lunch, you won’t regret.Coffee is amazing as well. But strongest point is staff friendliness, it is much better when you are received by autentique smiles.
Quite a small coffee shop. Friendly staff coffee is reasonably priced menu is fairly good and fairly interisting sticky black rice sounds awesome unfortunately we werent here for food. Coffee was quite good as were the baby chinos my boys tell me. My wife also said the berry smoothie was very good. The most outstanding thing about the coffee shop was the service they were so friendly happy and helpful. The atmosphere was perhaps a little dark but I think it would be great in the late afternoon or evening just a little bit dark for the morning.
Food was excellent, clearly good quality ingredients and made by someone who cares. One of the duo that sat beside us went to get her toast crisped up further and it was still missing after everyone had paid up and left.Service was slow and confused and needs a lot of coordination.Coffee took ages to come plus it was pretty average as it was burnt.
Reviewing the other reviews, in comparison, I had a great time at this cafe. The menu was diverse, friendly service and awesome coffee. The serve of avocado on toast was huge, nice to taste and beautifully presented. No washrooms at the cafe so youll have to use a public one in the nearby mall
