Laid-back bar with a kitschy vibe features pinball machines & a live rock venue in back.
One time Michelle Wolfe said hi to me here, but the drink selection is even better than that experience
One of our favorite spots in GR, always rotating pinball, beer and shows.
Always top notch service here. Amazing shows. So much pinball!!! Good times!
Doo me doobie !! Awesome place for entertainment 😎 i enjoyed the show i attended. Beer and liquor $$ great people mature and professional staff.
Love the pinball machines and the atmosphere. It gets very, very busy though.
Cool space filled with beer and pinball machines. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices for the area. Would definitely come back.
Came from Indiana for Caskey and Doobie concert. Best venue for an upclose concert. Beats an arena concert by far. Thank you Pyramind Scheme! Caskey and Doobie thanks for inspiring the world with love and music. Such a fun, wild and amazing experience. BEST CONCERT VENUE YET
The greatest pinball location on the west side. Grab a Pabst and a roll of quarters, fun way to spend an evening.
Great small bar, pinball machines, good drinks, one of my faves
The bartenders are great, the drinks are stiff and the beer list is solid. Thats a 5/5. Tip well. The pinball, though? Questionable. Whoever maintains them is either going through some really, really rough stuff OR theyre either a cheap sob or dont want to grow pinball. Who awards an extra ball for replays, especially on tables so poorly maintained?
Was a nice time. Burned my money on the Rush pinball machine. Cool shirts, cool posters, cool staff. Definitely will be back.
Great rock club. Great sound. Clean. Safe. Pleasant. Parking garage around the corner, no validation, but only $10 event parking. One of the nicer venues in GR.
Always a great venue to catch a concert! The Skinny Limbs put on a solid show!
Always a great spot for a show! N/A friendly as well which is always a plus 😄 def recommend checking out their lineups + if you enjoy a game or 2 of pinball theyve got you covered there too!
Great concert (Man Mancaught covid on the negative side, just mild had 3 shots.
Great atmosphere with a good selection of pinball games. Worth a stop in
With a great stage in the back and over 20 pinball machines in the front, what more could you ask for? Cheap beer, got it! A down to earth vibe reminiscent of the Ole arcade days? Got that too! If you only stay for a couple hours youll spend 5 bucks in the garage around the corner. I absolutely have to come here at least once a month, and you should too!
Good selection of draft beer, cider, etc. Lots of pinball with good variety of choices including some very new games, but many machines in poor state of repair. Most machines too quiet to hear meaningful audio. Tables balanced well. Cool place to play even if some games were not in a great state.Update - same good vibe, games in even worse state. Some unplayable, but as long as they accept coins, right?
Vibe is rowdy and a bit ratchet. Pin ball machines are unique and surprisingly high quality- you can exchange money for quarters at a machine. To see the music it’s a $20 cover charge. We didn’t bother with that because it seemed over priced.
Cool bar with a concert venue inside. Good beer selection at the bar and lots of pop art as decor, plus arcade games. Great place to nerd out with your group.
A local gem. Shout out to the woman that books the shows. Very diverse acts. Felt safe. Place is clean. People are friendly. Affordable to have a drink. Lucky to have this place in town. Update: This place is still awesome! Just saw Cracker here and it was really good. Good, fun place. Easy in and out. Keep these places alive!
Great staff, nice assortment of beer, pinball and usually a good show in the back.
This was such a great experience! I went to see the sold out Destroy Boys concert and it was such a great venue. The workers are great and the pinball machines up front are a nice touch. I am not sure if this applies to all shows, but you have to be vaccinated or have a PCR test within 72 hours. I look forward to coming again!
Love the selection of pinball machines here. Havent been in the back where the stage is, but eventually I will.
What a great little venue! Arcade and bar in the front, concert hall in the back. Fun beer selection, very intimate, good lighting and sound.
Went here last weekend with my husband! We both love pinball machines and chill bars. This bar is super cool with the triangle lighting, rock music, creepy art and murals! It is a must see! Beer is always good!
Dynamite pinball bar with a great pin selection, lots of beer taps, and fabulous service. Keep up the great work!A few pins are a little rough. However, thats nothing all that uncommon.
This place rules, lots of great pinball and a music venue in the back. Great place for a chill hangout or if you want to go hard.
I know were all going through a hard time right now, but the service--or really one server in particular--was weirdly volatile and emotional. The situation was needlessly escalated. This bartender voluntarily inserted himself into the situation and came at us with full force. This was at 10 PM, before the night had even begun. I seriously doubt and am fearful for the Pyramid Schemes competence at handling truly risky or dangerous situations and, with the display I saw on Saturday night, am certain this bartender in particular probably causes more of them than are necessary. Please note that this post is edited from a previous much lengthier description I gave beforehand, from which Id still like to make one thing clear: We left and went to Stellas, where we were treated like human beings. In fact, the discrepancy with how we were treated at Stellas really highlighted just how lacking the training and management at the Pyramid Scheme must be. GO TO STELLAS. You wont be left wondering if your bartender just hates women or who else they must have an unconscious bias toward. Seriously.
Had a great time!!!! Loved the drinks and pinball, will definitely be there again!!
We attended the Caroline Rose concert - my first time there. I felt safe when they asked for proof of vaccination and ID before moving into the performance space. What a great venue and what a fabulous artist!
Great place for a couple drinks and some old school pinball action.
Walked there to meet a friend after the Tool concert, the place was packed! 1 bar tender and he did an amazing job. 1st time there, but definitely on my list to revist and play some pinball. Many machines
Had a great time! Good drinks, super fun playing pinball, bought an amazing limited edition movie poster. We will definitely be back!!
Service was outstanding. We were there for a concert on Saturday night recently. The artists were awesome, great local bands. Only complaint was during the headliners performance some people at a table near ours were talking very loudly while the performance was going on. Very rude, and inconsiderate to those of us wanting to enjoy the show. Asked a staff member if they could get them to quiet down, said there was nothing he could do about it. I dont want to spend my hard earned dollars to see a concert, only to have people ruin it by talking throughout the performance. I saw a sign on the mirror behind the bar that asks patrons to stay quiet during the performances. Or keep chatter to a minimum during a performance. Still though, great place to take in a show from a local band, or play some pinball. They dont have food, but will allow you to bring in food from outside.
I absolutely love this place. Pinball is always going to win my heart over, but the atmosphere is so cool too. The bartenders are nice as well! I highly suggest this place ❤️
Great prices, awesome retro and modern pinball machines. Was only $6 for a Tall rum and coke would recommend 11/10
Found this little bar on my first night in GR. Great selection of beers and the bartender was friendly and helped me pick an outstanding local brew! They have games like bin ball etc inside and it was fairly slow when I went in. A great place to grab a beer and hang out after a long day! Would definitely recommend 5 stars all day everyday!
Felt so good to be back at one of the best bars/venues in the state! Got our pinball fix, drank a lot of beer, and saw a great show. 100/10 would always recommend!
Awesome, intimate venue with tons of fantastic local bands and national acts. Everything sounds amazing, but can sometimes get a little loud for sensitive ears. Bring some hi-def earplugs and youll be perfect.Drinks are cheap, and there are raised areas to either side where you can sit or stand when watching a show.
One of the best brunches Ive had in a while! The chicken and lemon donuts were so unique and SO yummy!!
Excellent selection of draft craft beers and top rated Pinball machines. These are not the old style pinball machines They have the latest and greatest machines. Super friendly staff with really cool t-shirts and posters for sale. This place is an absolute blast and must see for pinball enthusiasts.
Pinball? Yes! Beer? Yes! What more do you want? This place is awesome. End of story. Play pinball, drink booze, enjoy life.
Great beer specials! Wanted something different to do since we were only in town for the weekend and this was pretty neat! Lots of different pinball games! They had a live band you could pay a cover to see but we just wanted to play pinball.
Fun venue for local bands to perform on stage in a high-energy, intimate, athmosphere. As this is a smaller venue, seating is limited and I would advise the 35+ crowd to arrive early, unless you dont mind standing. Be sure to pay attention to the drink specials to get the best deals. The bar area features over a dozen pinball games for a brief diversion while you are hanging out. While popular with 20-somethings, Ive seen the 50+ crowd attend as well.
Nice drinks, bartenders are quite friendly and they even let you know what song is playing if you are curious to know! Amazing arcade area, busy location but good environment. Went on a Friday!
Love seeing shows at this venue. Close to home, intimate setting, not a bad spot in the place. If you want to sit for the show I recommend getting there a little early depending on the popularity of the act you are seeing as there is a limited number of tables. Cant forget to mention the pinball machines in the bar(very cool).
You like playing pin ball and getting drunk at the same time. This is the perfect place! They have an adequate selection of beer and a superb selection of pin ball machines knew and old. Prices of the machines are either ¢50 or ¢75, and guess what. THEY HAVE CUP HOLDERS ON THE SIDE! thats right drink to your hearts content. (if you canget the bartenders attentionthat is one thing the bar tender sucked the night I went. I wasnt rude I wasnt uncuth but I was ignored. Like a lot. (I tipped anyway Im not a monsterSeemed worth mentioning. Besides that I loved this place and had a great time.
Love pinball and Short’s beer? Look no further, you found your spot. Drink specials all day Tuesday are half off Michigan craft beers. This place always has at least 5+ Short’s beers on tap. It’s a show venue too in the back with a solid rotating lineup of bands and artists.
Awesome bar with tons of cheap pinball, a cool crowd and a taplist that is never short on SHORTS.
