Koresh St 3, Jerusalem, Israel, Hebron
In the historic Central Post Office building dating from the 1930s, this trendy hostel is a 2-minute walk from a tram stop and a 9-minute walk from Jaffa Gate, 1 of the stone portals of the Old City walls.Simple mixed-sex and female-only dorms (adults-only) feature free Wi-Fi and bed linens, plus shared bathrooms, sitting areas and lockers. Cozy private rooms add flat-screen TVs their own facilities and towels (no cost); some have sofabeds and can accommodate kids (1 per room).Complimentary Israeli breakfast is served in a laid-back lounge, which also has a bar. There's a shared kitchen, a rooftop terrace, and a recreation and screening room.
The most atmospheric, comfortable and cosy hostel I’ve ever been to.Delicious breakfast.Amazing and friendly stuffI totally recommend this place<4
One of the best hostel I have ever visited
Visited a friend staying at the Post.Economy room was tiny! No room to put a bag or hang clothes. No shelf, closet , or hanging space. The bed was adjacent to a wall on one side, and even the foot of the bed was blocked by a wall on the side of the person sleeping by the wall, kind of like a window seat on an airplane when you have to climb over sleeping passengers if you want to get out . Definitely don’t book an economy room if you ever had claustrophobia. The shower was small, no shelf or anything to place soap, shampoo etc.The view from the window was garbage bins on the street. On the plus side, the location is excellent, good vibe, friendly staff and good service.
Centrally located, very convenient. Great lounge and play area. However do bring your own toiletries as they can run out of body wash.
The hostel is a gem close to the old city.Convenient location: you can get there by light metro L1 from the bus station, City Hall stop.Around many cafes and services. There is also a supermarket.Exceptional welcome: the staff were immediately courteous and friendly. He also helped us to buy bus tickets to Eilat via the internet as the site is only in Hebrew.Clean room with all facilities, except the hairdryer. They change towels everyday. Very comfortable.Breakfast is not included but it can be added: it is mostly salty.Every evening, between 5:00 / 6:00 pm they organize happy hour, 1 beer for the price of 2 which can be drunk on the large terrace. If you have the room facing on jaffa street, it might be a bit noisy. If you are passing by Jerusalem, stopping at The Post Hostel is a guarantee.
Great Value for money. Excellent location. Starting from the reception, through the rooms and cleanliness of the place, all was great. Breakfest is a bit standard and boring, but it dose not hurt the general feeling. For sure we are coming back
Nice rooms, great atmosphere, excellent location 👌
Our short stay at the Post Hostel in Jerusalem was nice. The hostel is situated perfectly, walking distance from the old city and close to an abundance of bars and restaurants. We arrived in the middle of the night and were welcomed by a very friendly night clerk. Alex (the front desk managerwas always very quick to reply by email before arrival and assisted in organising a taxi bringing us to the hostel late at night.
The personnel was very friendly and helpful, the location was great (right between the new and old centersand the common rooms were fun places to meet new people. The room itself was fine, although the bed was lacking in pretty much every way (too small, squeaky, not comfortable). The location was pretty noisy as well, but thats part of the charm of staying where the city is so much alive. If youre looking for an affordable place at an amazing location with a social vibe, look no further.
Beautiful, well located hostel. Staff is really helpful and always friendly. Nice Place to meet other people from all over the world.
Perfect location, but the room wasn’t clean. They’ve made an effort to clean it right away and left a wine bottle for us which was very nice. The room is a bit small for 2 ppl.
I was traveling with family and friend, we reserved two gallery rooms. they were small (as expectedbut set well, clean and well maintained. The location is wonderful near Mamilla, old city, King David rd, Jaffa st, the market and a lot of restaurants around and more, the staff was great.Due to COVID19, there is no food/breakfast served but they sale alcohol and there is a free coffee/tea 24/7 stand. One think we struggled is the parking, the closest parking is charging 90 NIS a day but you can leave the car in Mamilla parking which charge 50 NIS a day (we never used the car, only taxis and tram)
Really enjoyed our 1mond stay at the Post hostel. The location is great to discoffer the very different areas of Jerusalem (like the old city, jehuda market, azza st. etc). The hostel was really clean en the staf was very nice. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay in Jerusalem!
For a low cost hostel accommodation, its hard to beat the post hostel. The location is great, right between the old city and the market, and the facilities are clean and updated. During my stay there were still international travel restrictions so the place was quiet, making it a good place to get some work done. The best part was the warm and friendly staff, they go the extra mile to make sure you have everything you need. It was a great base for exploring Jerusalem and would recommend it to any traveler on a budget.
Clean and smart. Really nice industrial style right down to the layout of the mezzanine bedroom suites. Friendly staff and really nice atmosphere. When were through Corona I can really see this place being a cool place to sit and drink and play pool and sheshbesh, and look out over the center of Jerusalem.
Lets begging with the word "Hostal..."The price was too high for what it is! It was the last week of school vacation so they find it ok to rise the prices to the sky (we looked a week later and the prices were half what we paid, 130$ /night and that was for a small roomwe were on a business trip, we didnt have a choice for the dates. They have a wall wetness problem in the rooms ,the first room was smelly too so we were changed immidiatly the second has a minor wall wetness problem ,but at least it didnt smelled badThe room we paid for dont have a closet we were advised at the time of reservation(we didnt need it ,we were only for 1 night)The bed was enough confort the pillows werent ,so we asked at late night for extra pillows and they gave us kindly ,the bearded guy at the front desk from the night shift was really helpful and kind! The shower part of the bathroom looked new ,so I dont understand why there was mold on the shower walls...There are no hooks or hanger bars on the bathroom walls for towels or your toiletriesThe place design is really coolthe terrace was amazing at night with the Jerusalem view and the mount breeze after a hot summer day...Breakfast: the most simple one! Boiled eggs, granola ,plain yogurt served in a big jug, quarters of pitta bread ,fresh halved tomatoes and cucumbers, some kind of spreadable white cheese , tahini, tuna and eggplant saladsThe coffee machine wasnt working so the had big jugs of black, regular coffee and cocoa you can prepare for yourselfThere was a big cold water container where wasnt cold waterI was amazed that everyone was touching the service spoons, tongs, yougurt and milk jugs with bared hands !! Its something the place have to figure out in those COVID19 times! ( I always wear gloves...)The check out is at 10 am
The Post Hostel stay was excellent. In particular, we would like to thank the Front Desk for all their efforts when we faced a medical emergency. Also, my husband took the Mount Olives Tour, arranged by the Post Hostel; it was excellent. The guide Shahahar was top notch, as he was knowledgeable and so pleasant to listen to. An overall excellent experience at the Post Hostel.
Nice one ;- very nice rooms they have. The workers here are very friendly and open minded. They have a nice interior and good beer ( but a little bit pricy...).They have a terrace and the breakfast is really healthy + good :;)....They make an big effort to bring the guests together with their cool events. Thanks and cheers! :)
Good location, very clean rooms and a great atmosphere. They offer different Tours for discovering Jerusalem. We did a very interesting and informative tour to the Western Wall FOR FREE. The tour guide Shahar was very nice.Breakfast is very simple. Would go there any time again.
Fantastic stay! One of the nicest hostels that I have ever stayed in and I have stayed all over the world (76 countries). Clean, spacious, wonderful great room, splendid buffet breakfast, reasonable price, great bathrooms, very nice staff (especially Yuri). Absolutely my go to hostel in Jerusalem. Very nice central location. 2 minute walk to the electric tram. Close to the old city.
One of the best hostels Ive stayed in. Perfect location - close to the Old City, Jaffa St., bus & tram stop(s), 24 hr grocery store and ATM, etc. Bed was comfortable with a curtain/outlet/light/ large+small locker. Lots of activities organized throughout the week with friendly/helpful staff. Great bar and lounge area too with a good selection of local beer! Overall, a fab stay and will recommend to anyone looking for a bed in Jerusalem. :)
One of the best hostel experience I had. Large yet created an easygoing atmosphere. Attract right travelers. Breakfast option is amazing--among the best you will have. Clean, great location, good WiFi, reasonable space for dorm of 12. Bathroom is bit tiny.
As a whole, this is a great hostel. Excellent showers, nice food, nice vibe, nice staff. The room I was in (privet, twin bedswas nice and comfy, but there were a lot of parts on the walls that were wet or suffered from humidity (probably the reason why it smelled like mold). This room need a fix up and fast!! Other then that, I had great time :)
Really nice and warm place to spend some days in Jerusalem. The atmosphere is just great. A lot of people from around the world with good vibes. Excellent breakfast. The Pub in the hostel is More than recommend. They have Happy hour every day from 17:00 to 20:00 and the prices are really reasonable. There are Only two things that bothers me. The first one is the size of the bed. If you are More than 1.90 cm you gonna have some problems ( there is a piece of wood at the end of the bed ).The second one is about The air conditioner. Make a lot of noice and you cannot adjust it the way you want. Besides that, everything was just perfect.
Man! This is one of the best hostels Ive ever been! Its beautiful inside, the vibe is amazing, they do live concerts and the food! I mean, if You hesitate because of higher price - trust me, You will save on breakfast in the city! Its so calm there and the staff is really friendly. One and only thing that shocked me was the price of small water bottle at the bar - Israel is expensive but this? It was ridiculous. Other than that, amazing place!
