The Portobello in Vilnius

A warm brittish themed bar. Alot of beer options and the cook Vytas makes tasty ribs in the terasse. Its good that the place works until 4 in the morning ! Butt sometimes the vibe goes down from the people that come.(Btw , you can always expect good music)

Place to get back! Nice staff, nice fried jelapenos, crazy nice walls and all the British atmosphere. Darts are there. Friendly place :)First timing experience were good.

The only british thing about this place is that you order at the bar. One british beer on draught? Sausage and mash served with sauerkraut???

We had a great birthday party!!! Very nice beers and snacks.The terrace is very good good for summer and the inside part very cool and cozy.The staff was friendly and kind with us during the whole celebration.I will come back for sure!!!

The fried breadsticks with garlic are great.

Telephone booth entrance works against them I thought it was only a decoration but it was an entrance. Beer selection not too great, and food all deep fried. A bit disappointed.

This place is a joke. The food might have been good, but the service is below abysmal. The waiter was gloriously hangover, and refused to serve us a glass of water (even with a full entrée - main course - bottle of wine tab), explaining that the owner required him to sell bottled water.

Loads of warm memories were made. Lovely people. Great music and nice drinks. Would recommend to anyone!

Beer was not up to much, very little choice of spirits and poor atmosphere. Attempts made to make the pub British but failed miserably.

English-style pub in the heart of Vilnius. The only bar i know that serves Admirals pint, which is superior to a regular pint. Great atmosphere, always busy yet always welcomes more guests. Quite a lot of foreigners as well - recommend to those who like to grab quite a few drinks!

Not sure about wheelchair accessibility with the phonebooth acting as an entrance, but hey! The music is great, not to lose and its a cozy place to hang out with friends! BTW.: Its legit UK phone booth, so the entrance is just as wheelchair accessible as public phonebooths in UK

Great courtyard. Inside is more grubby. WiFi seems to be too hard to muster either inside or not at all outside - which is pretty poor for 2019

Asked for three cocktails, none of them were available. Then asked for lager beer - only one available. This should not be called a pub if there is no variety of drinks.Also, bartenders very rude. Will not come back ever again.

Very good price for performance.Beer is cheap compared to other restaurants nearby. You can find really wide range of different types of beers. Tasty appetizers available at a good price. Awesome UKs pub style, british rock and punk music make fantastic atmosphere.I would have stayed all night long if i could.I highly recommend.

Place was close to empty on the Sunday evening but it was early season. Football on tv with sound down. You enter through a telephone box which was quirky. Over heard a customer asking for 2 drinks but were out of both. Had tasty hotdog.

Great atmosphere, some of the food was good, some quite mediocre. Overall really cosy and a great place to hang out.

Flat draught lager. Lager with no bubbles / head. It tasted like watered down beer. Over priced bad beer. I went everywhere to spend my money on decent beer.

As a place to go for beer it seemed okay, beer is expensive for the area but the glasses are a bit larger so prices are hard to compare. The decor was very little Britain, think bunting and portraits of the Queen.The food on the other hand was a great disappointment. The "viciously spicy" chicken wings were very bland and didnt taste of anything (no paper napkins or cutlery were provided with the wings which was also a bit annoying). Next we had the beef burger, which for some reason had some curry mayo in the burger itself (if youre familiar with the 80s British classic/abomination of coronation chicken, it tasted like that). Not a combination I found particularly pleasant.Overall, if you want a pub meal, dont come here there are much better meals for similar or cheaper prices nearby.

Cute and very zany atmosphere, but very expensive and I was expecting a much more english menu. The beers and food dont really reflect the theme at all- but the environment does! It all depends on what youre looking for, definitely had a good time overall (even though I overpaid).

The terrace here is wonderful. Portobello shares the terrace with a wine bar and you can have drinks and snacks from both locations. The beers are fine, it’s beer. The food however, is less than fine. The “chips” with a fancy description turned out to be frozen potatoes that were simply deep fried. With the fancy description, I expected more. The service is mostly on par for Vilnius, you basically have to hunt someone down to help you.

A decent place to go to in the nightlife of Vilnius, there has been a lot of effort with decoration in terms of british themed things such as the phonebox entrance and postboxes, quotes of british people etc. Although i may be biased being british there is some charm apparent. also a nice upstairs darts level which is a nice touch and makes it a bit different. pint sizes are slightly larger and prices are reasonable if there are no big events on. only thing stopping it from being a 5 star is that service was as with some places in Vilnius lacking a bit. e.g. ordering 12 drinks getting 4 and then 4 other customers being served without haste before your order is taken seriously. but could just be a one off. overall would recommend though

The Portobello in Vilnius is.like a home.from home as far as.pubs go in Vilnius. It serves traditional British, well kept, Ales but in rustic old world surrounds. The entrance is by way of a old red telephone box, which is a nice touch and the room is a dark and slightly Hammer Horror style Inn.There is a mezzanine floor with a dart board, the main room has a big screen for football, the bar is to the left of the entrance in the L shaped room.There is a kitchen which serves bar snacks, chips burgers and sandwiches, the staff were courteous but not over friendly.The only downside was probably the toilets. If they are going for dingy, smelly conveniences then they have nailed it.This apart, the pub has a good atmosphere, is friendly and has a varied demographic and gender mix.I enjoyed my visits there and would recommend a visit to the Portobello, Vilnius.

This pub is so "English", that youll harder find one even in the center of London! (Yes Ive lived there). If you got any nostalgia for England, this is must visit!

I would call it the best Premium beer pub. A big variety of beer, cozy atmosphere, nice music and much more. In order to feel it visit the bar yourself, it is worth it.

Best bar in Vilnius. Good location. Vide variety of premium beer. Best fish and chips in Vilnius. Cozy terrace. Indoors not too much space but very cozy. Loud music. Real pub.

My favourite spot in Vilnius. Good ales, great and inventive food, nice music and that intangible "thing" thats in the air. Love it!

Beer served in 0.66 l, some craft beer also available. Chicken wings not the best, pretty medium. Excellent pork ears. Very British design.

I would give it 5 stars, if I didnt ended up having to factory reset my smartphone after connecting to the bars wifi. Other than that horrible experience on vacation, it was nice. Smokers haven.
