The Plumbers Arms in Kuta

Plumbers Arms is my local pub. Both staff and clientele here are great. Diners/ drinkers mind their own business and I can sit alone for hours without being harassed by anyone. Love it!Do go for their Sunday roast. Wide selection of meat, with a vegetarian option too. Great way to finish weekend.

They claim “the best fish and chips on the island. “ I vouch for this wholeheartedly. It’s good, it’s proper good. I’ve been coming here since long ago, but it was my first time post covid and it didn’t disappoint. Still the same. 100k with ice tea. Very reasonable price for a substantial meal. Happy customer .

Recently refurbished British style pub. Good pub grub and reasonably priced. Great off licence also with good selection of wines and spirits priced well below supermarket pricing.

Not in any way shape or form English fish and chips. No vinegar, soggy fries and lightly breaded soggy batter. Really Really disappointed. Only reason for the 3 stars is the staff and ambiance. The food is dreadful. Also got the Sheppards Pie and Nasty Nachos. Better off Bland Pie and ok...yes the nachos were actually nasty.

Plumbers Arms is always a great place to enjoy a delicious meal and some craft beers. Our place to go as soon as we are close to Kerobokan. Love this place since many years!

So I have been coming and going from here for 2 months I find the food is amazing top level for the price. The only thing I find is that the service is very very bad you will wait for a long time to see a server like you will get a drink finish it then wait for a long long time to get a next drink even with trying to eye ball it is such a shame. This is a good place but could very easy be made in to a great place

We have been coming here all the time for 6 months. But tonight beef stew for 95K was really over salted gravy with frozen peas and a few pieces of beef thrown in for good luck. It was inedible. This place is obviously going through cost cuts at the cost of customer, Avoid unless you want cheap cocktails ( they cut them too after the first one!)…

Love the place with many areas for sitting. Food is good can’t fault anything on that. Maybe just to keep the draught beer a little more colder 😃

Great place, great food but where one really sees the excellence of its management is how they deal with little issues which can arise everywhere. Thank you to the staff and the manager on duty to be so professional! Nice place. With a large interior courtyard - which is most welcome as the main road it sits in is horrible!

Very neighborly location - it seems like, and by the testimonials of my colleagues who live in the area - the place to go to for the locals. It’s has a lot of fans (No Airconand the roof opens up during sunny days. A lot of expats around - have a combination of the typical western food (steaks and stuff), but also Thai and Indian (from the restos next to it). Food comes surprisingly fast. Service is not spectacular or memorable; but not bad. food is OK, but not superb.I came during lunch (quiethowever I heard at night it can be quite packed with the expats and locals. I would definitely come here again.Steak was good! I thought it was a tad bit over the medium which I ordered; but it was tender nevertheless.

Great sunday roast and not too noisy.

A great place to go to get a big proper portion meal on the island. I’d highly recommend going there if your super hungry and want to feast. Great portions and great prices!

It offers a comfort place with lots of food and beverage choices. I sat at the smoking area, and it was great. The food is great, the coffee is good. The staffs are very friendly. For a place where you can chill out with your friends, it is a recommended place.

For the last year I have been ordering the vegetarian roast dinner from the Plumbers Arms every single Sunday. Last week my partner and I visited the Plumbers for our usual vegetarian roast. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 1 YEAR of ordering, the staff told us the gravy CONTAINED BEEF and would that be ok to add to the vegetarian roast?! (no of course not! vegetarians dont eat ANY meat!We then asked them if they had vegetarian gravy to which they responded that they have NEVER USED vegetarian gravy only beef for their roast dinners!!! This whole time i have been eating beef gravy with my vegetarian roast dinner!! Surely if you are providing a vegetarian roast dinner option you should be providing vegetable gravy too? Why would a vegetarian order a vegetable roast and eat it with beef gravy?!I really like the Plumbers arms because the other food is great and the staff are always friendly but I am SO disappointed. I really didnt want to give a bad review but i think its important that other vegetarians are aware that their vegetarian roast isnt really vegetarian if they are serving it with beef gravy. Im disappointed because i had recommended the plumbers arms to many other vegetarian friends who have now also eaten meat gravy without being aware which can be very upsetting if you have been a vegetarian for many years.I will still continue to eat at Plumbers arms but im sad to know i can no longer eat the roast as it was of my favourites 😞Please do better Plumbers arms.

Had the Sunday roast, roast beef and the roast lamb. Quite good, but Im surprised that the meat was nearly raw. Always thought roast means to was slowly cooked until tender.

I like it.. small English pub located at the side of the road towards Umalas, which you wont miss. Great collection of beers, nice ambience especially the back garden area, good foods (their Sunday Roast and creme brullee are so yummy), great service, friendly staff. Worth to visit. Good for hangout either to have a drink or two or watching sport games together.

Most things on the menu are quite well balanced for value. Fish and chips, shawarma, English breakfast are pretty great. The sandwiches are underwhelming though despite the praise they build up on the sandwich page (see uploaded menu).Imo best fish in chips in Bali and worth it for that. Decent draught beer selection, though theyre missing Guinness at this English pub.Menu uploaded for your viewing pleasure. You can also order Chinese food from next door though its a bit of racist name.

Nice pub atmosphere, first time visit meeting some acquaintances. Service adequate, decent selection of beers and other beverages. If in the neighborhood I will definitely visit this pub again

this is such a great place to hang out with family and friend. You cannot imagine how cheap is the food cost without tax include. The food are incredible as well, you must try fish n chip. I having dinner here with my family every weekend.

Delicious food and good environment can watch sports and play darts and pool! perfect pub almost.

Love this pub! You can have imported beers in draft, for reasonable price!There’s a pool table in the back, great for an evening with group of friends.Food is also amazing. Love the steak, lamb shank, and honey chicken breast by far.

Classic British Pub grub sans the steak and kidney pie, unfortunately. No beef and Guinness either. Pretty decent fish and chips tho, but the side of curry it comes with is horrendous stuff - as it should be, perhaps, in a British pub ;great selection of micro brews - I think the best selection in Bali. Will pop over again for the next decent cricket match (I heard a rumour they screen cricket and rugby).

We stopped here for dinner last night and it was very good classic British food and price is reasonable for the area.Btw you can stop by whenever and good option for drinks

I ordered the bacon and egg sandwich this morning and it was below standard, to say the least. The sandwich was quite empty and mostly bread but the bacon and egg did taste nice, despite no sauce option. Thank god i had sauce at home, or this would have been extremely dry.Tonight however, i decided to order again, different things, as i liked the taste of my breakfast meal, despite everything.I ordered online, through grab, just for the driver to show up and the restaurant and it was shut.Thats ridiculous and not a hard thing to close for online orders. Sorry, customer lost now.

when you see the same geezers having beers outside this pub at 11 am everyday you know it’s good. In all seriousness one of the few places with draft beers, and literally everything on the menu is good. Staff here is great and they make splitting a check between people super easy.Suggestions: pint of beer and the pork ribs.....your welcome.

A little waiting time even when alone but good food.

Beautiful delicious food! With wide choices of drinks. Lovely staffs and good atmosphere. Love the way they arrange the furniture. Very nice. Always coming back with friends or treat myself a great lunch!! Loving it

Great for English home comforts. They have roast dinners , pie and mash and lots more. The Guinness was expensive but everything else was reasonable price. Excellent staff and delicious food. Highly recommended!!

English pub style restaurant/bar. I stopped for dinner and had the lemon garlic butter fish, got to say it was fantastic, best Ive had in years. Fries not 100%, probably need to be cooked before defrosted? Guiness and Kilkenny on tap. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I loved it!

Only stopped here one night as a local couple recommended it. It was an enjoyable atmosphere, sat outside with some friends. Also, they had a pretty decent local hard cider available. If this is near you, I would say give it a try.

Highly recommend this place. Great high quality food, reasonable prices and good cocktails. Also the atmosphere is nice. We have been here twice now and will definitely come again.

Theyre boasted to have the best fish and chips in the area, but to be honest it was pretty underwhelming. It wasnt bad, but not great either. Other than that, place is cozy and suitable for hangout - typical Irish pub. Pricing falls to mid level prices though.

Well, this wasnt the first time I was here, and wont be the last, as we live nearby.However, this is the first time I give them review.Each of us ordered the pizza this time, then I realized, that this is not an Italian joint. LOL. My Hawaiian pizza was Okay, however my cousin loved and still loves the Margarita Pizza.Definitely, recommended place for dining in. The Wok, also nice. Great job of having it as well for the last 3 years.

Had a bit of a bad experience with our lunch meal here. It was new years day and we thought wed travel here for some good home food which didnt turn out to be the case, the pie we was given was super burnt on the outside and uncooked in the middle, the gravy also didnt taste of anything good unfortunately.
