The Plough Inn - Inn in Lytham St Annes, United Kingdom
One star for being dog friendly and one star for a good drink selection and some staff were very friendly. One member of staff I caught talking about my friend as she walked away (not knowing I was with her). The food I would almost go as far to say, inedible. My friend also had a 6inch long bit of plastic in her clearly microwaved meal, that was definitely a choking hazard. My meal was equally as unappealing with very bland, reheated food. Definitely never eating here again, not bad for a drink after a dog walk.
Excellent service, quality and value for money.
I would give zero if i could.Had chicken soup that neither of us could eat, the chicken had been in the soup so long is was a brown colour and there was a layer of oil and floating white spots on the surface. Me and my partner were both ill after. The shared platter was ok but nothing special. Its a shame we had food here years ago and it was really good.
Nice pub, friendly staff, will definitely be back.
Good old fashioned local pub, dog and child friendly. Hardly ever have to wait for service.Food is good (sometimes hit and missbut overall like most of the dishes on the menu and itβs always served quickly, so really good if you want a quick bite to eat. Friendly and chatty staff with good service.Great beer gardens, choice of sitting out the front, or if you have kids sit round the side so they can play on the park and field. Lots of car parking space. They do hold events and have space for private functions.Dogs welcome inside and out,Family friendly,Big screen sports,Live music events,Pool table.Decor could do with an update is probably the only downside.
Sean is a great host. Good beers and consistent food
Nice atmosphere, relaxing, nice food lo lots of lager choice ,nice Guinness, really enjoyed it.
Went to watch a band, but soon left, kids still in at 8 30 unsupervised bang in front of the band larking about. Very noisy from the clientele, didnt seem like they wanted entertainment. Drinks ok,but dear enough. I believe kids were gone at nine, Id already left.
Decent modern pub with some outdoor seating set by an attractive green beyond its spacious car park. The village has maintained its separate identity from the Fylde conurbation. One real ale available on my visit, Theakstons Best Bitter, in good condition. Didnt try the food but the menu looks good value
Would just like to thank Sean and all the staff on behalf of my dad for Pauls 60th on sat 19th Feb, the food was good and a very warm friendly welcome from everybody, definitely recommend π
Very quiet pub nice food
Sunday roast dinner must of been out of a pre cooked frozen meal. No wonder staff didnt ask if food was OK. Avoid
Good local pub with Lovely locals!
Great Music Venue hope to see more Bands there in the future

The star is for the lovely lady behind the bar... food awful
Lovely local pub, friendly atmosphere and good food
Lovely old style pub. Great food at reasonable prices. Lovely man who was standing at the door . He greeted us and served us. Disabled toilet is in with the normal mens/ ladies toilets.

Loved it x just a quiet drink with my hubby and singsong to old tunes on TV X very friendly staff and well organised due to Pandemic xxx
Pleasant atmosphere, lovely staff, Felt Covid safe. Vegetarian menu ? Only 1 item appropriate as the other 2 vegetarian options were fish. Good job Im a carnivore. The food we have was fresh and tasty.
Superb find whilst staying at Haven with my daughter. Friendliest and welcoming staff. Food was fresh, hot and plentiful. No complaints. Cant fault anything, please visit.
Excellent little pub. Good food and ale. Pool, TVs, beer garden, plenty of parking spaces, log fire and your dogs are welcome, so long as they keep their owners in check. π
Sorry but ordered a Sunday lunch... Average... Aunt Bessies at best we were the only ones in at Sunday lunch.. But still managed to get the order wrong ... One dish Well hadnt been in the microwave long enough... So sent it back only to get exactly the same dish less than 5 mins later.... Hardly fresh.... My dad was a chef and anything returned to the kitchen was replaced.. Not reheated..same for the kids pizza ...microwaved, so chewy..its a shame as it takes away from the charm of a local village pub, I felt for the guy behind the bar who was lovely just a big let down tbh
Very large portions, good value for money, staff friendly. Food quite basic and traditional.
Is it possible to rate zero stars? Absolute garbage, the only people eating in the restaurant on a Saturday night, that shouldve given us an indication of the culinary atrocities we were about to experience. 3 meals out of the 5 were frozen. The steak and ale pie looked like something straight out of a can of dog meat. The fish straight from the frozen aisle of the local supermarket. Would be generous to describe the pizza as a frozen Chicago town. Atrocious food, spoke with the waitress who said the chef would be told. Complaint wasnt dealt with, wont be returning
I went here for breakfast and it was all cooked just as I like it. The plate was big and it was also brimming including fried bread that wasnt burned. Food with cholesterol but who cares when its this good and not indulging very often. I will be returning again.
Great tradition Pub - Tuesday Nights host an Open Music Session, @Music Songs Poems & Pints from 8:30pm.
Just come home from a lovely afternoon at the Plough had 3 dogs we were welcome right from the start really friendly atmosphere 3 pints and walked home perfection πππ
This pub should be a gold mine, the foods not great tho which lets it down in my eyes. Its called the plough but yet doesnt even serve a ploughmans lunch, a very simple meal you cant mess up.Imagine walking your dog around de veres path on a lovely sunny day and thinking to stop for some lunch and a pint. This pub is the only one around staining and de veres that allow dogs but the food menu would put a lot off. To go all Gordon f-ing Ramsey just focus on a simple ploughmans and simplify the menu.Other than the food its a decent pub with nice staff
Pleasent village family atmosphere with excellent smiley service top drinks and tasty bytes at reasonable prices. AWESOME!!! βΊ
Lovely friendly pub great food home from home. But this time of year the fire needs to be light π₯π₯π₯π₯xx
Food and service excellent good range of beers and wines very clean will call again.
We have been here before in 2016had a great time. This time In 2018 caravan dirty bedding had to be changed as dirty, half of the equipment missing and this is top of the range caravan so wouldnt like to see the state of a standard
Very quiet mid week. Pleasant surroundings food pub grub .well cooked and a large portion. If its a pub meal you are looking for then you wouldnt be disapointed
Smashing friendly village pub with a small compact menu with a specials board. Food always lovely and never too long a wait for it to arrive. Really enjoy my visits here, would definitely recommend.
Great menu. Good food. Lovely staff.Just a great place to eat and drink..
Lovely staff and friendly customers. It was our first ever visit and we were made very welcome. The food was excellent. Highly recommend

I was with a mixed group of friends for a pub meal in evening. Last orders 8.45.ordered combo to share between 2 ,very tasty ! My husband had chilli burger for main and i had seabass fish cakes with new potatoes, all meals plentyful and hot! Only a few other groups in. After meal we played pool and left at approx 10pm pub now nearly empty.(a bit dark inside but warm)
