The Plaza in Laç

Great location right downtown. Parking is underground off George W Bush, and the hotel is located on the north side of the street (google doesn’t tell you which side).Hotel is nice and clean and secure. You need a room key from the lobby to get upstairs to the rooms. Room was beautiful and had a great view.Great spa facilities!!Only downside was on the 21st floor between 9pm-11pm we could hear very loud music from outside.

There was a teen working at the underground parking. He was responsible for taking the money after you leave the hotel. He was smoking in the cabin and playing rap music not suitable for anyone to hear, especially my kids... Not the taste I wanted to have from my stay

The hotel is one of the best hotels in Tirana. Room was huge, with comfortable bed, spacious toalet, elevators fast, internet good and service excellent. The hotel is situated in the city centre.

Nice hotel but prices are high they denied to extend our check about even for 30 minutes according to them they are fully booked i check on booking they are far from fully booked, they had the smartest elevator i have ever seen and perfect location

A truly five star experience! The room was comfortable, with beautiful views and everything you could need provided. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the free spa for guests was a nice perk.

Perfect location for the main city centre and attractions. The spa is brilliant - it has various saunas, a jacuzzi and different tropical showers. The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and spacious. I’d highly recommend it. While in town, eat at Oda which is very nearby!

The hotel reception, elevators and rooms are very high standary and spotlessly clean. There were some nice touches which would be expected from a five star hotel, such as door men offering to carry bags and call taxis, in the rooms the Jo Malone toileteries are amazing touch. The beds are really big and comfortable and the rooms are large and equipped with very high quality fixtures and fittings.Disliked · Having choice of only one restaurant but not advised in advance others were closed. No bar open in hotel for a drink. We sat outside on terrace but it started to get cold so moved into the reception lounge area. After waiting around ten minutes with no service I asked at reception if I could order a drink, receptionist said would call a waiter to come (bear in mind it is less than 15 metres to outside terrace where waiters were…a few minutes later receptionist came over and told me “the waiters are too busy and if i want a drink it will be a long time or i could go and get it myself and bring it in”….i counted five waiters, and total occupied tables in restaurant and terrace as six….not exactly busy…..when i asked why they were too busy to serve clients as i could clearly see a waiter standing less than five metres from me doing nothing through window. I received shrugged shoulders as a reply. The top floor bar was also closed for a private event, so could go there.We chose to go to casino after our meal. The staff were all really polite there and offered advice and tours. The casino is very nicely furnished; however too much smoke and not enough AC…..aside from it technically being illegal to smoke indoors in albania, they need to consider smoking/nonsmoking tables to be more appealing to guests. They seem to be focussed on the casino and encouraging “problem” gamblers. I watched them give a challenged chip position, purely to keep a client betting…..twice, and a blind monkey could see it was not in client favour.In the room the TV welcome screen has been copied from another hotel and as such the wording is about another hotel (unless i missed the golf course, outdoor pool and cabanas it mentioned!)we ordered breakfast in bed and was poor quality food and missing items as decribed.

I stayed at the Plaza hotel for few nights. The hotel location was great close to city center and few steps away from busy shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary for the stay. Staff were very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast was great and we had a great a time. I strongly recommend this hotel to stay and exploring Tirana. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best hotel on our multi-country trip! Check-in was a breeze. We arrived around 8 oclock and had room service. It arrived promptly and was good. The room was also the largest room on our trip with a great view. The shower was great, great water pressure. I always find showers to be disappointing in Europe, but this one definitely was not. This hotel truly had all the luxuries and amenities one could want. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating of any requests. The location was great! A short walk to all the sights and an even shorter walk to shopping! The only feedback I have is that we did book massages and they were okay but not great, I would recommend skipping out on it. Overall, great hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for a honeymoon!

The hotel is beautiful and the amenities are as well.The casino is located inside the hotel, at the rooftop you’ll find a bar with 360 views of the city, the spa is included with the room and it has 24/7 gym for those who like to exercise when in holidays.The location is in the heart of downtown.Smoking rooms available, however I would not recommend it as there is not much ventilation.

By far the best hotel in Tirana. Excellent location, very nice rooms and very friendly staff. We were there for a wedding which was fantastic. Every detail was thought through! I also recommend the spa which was great the next morning!

We have enjoyed a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The top quality of the hotel, the view from the room and the spa will remain in our memories. Excellent place to hold an event (we were invited to a wedding in our case). We recommend!

We staid in Plaza Hotel in Tirana for few days for a wedding reception that was happening in the hotel.The team is nice and welcoming, the breakfast is really good with lot of choices, the spa is ideal for a relaxing moment. The room and the hotel are beautiful and you feel good there. The location is great in Tirana city centre. You can see the hotel from far so you cant get lost if you decided to go for a walk around.The wedding reception organized in the hotel was really beautiful. The dinner and the service were really good. And we had all such a great moment.We had a really good experience in Tirana Plaza Hotel and I warmly recommand to stay there when you are coming to Tirana. You wont be disappointed.

It has potential but the place stinks of cigarettes because they have a club inside the hotel and they allow people to smoke there. This then means the whole main entrance and elevator hum of cigarettes. Then not only that but they allow all the drivers to smoke just outside the front entrance. This may be acceptable in Albania but this is not acceptable at an international 5 star hotel.

Albanians are peaceful and so friendly, i never forget about this travel.

Location is exellent, you cant get any closer to city then this hotel, staff really helpfull,i felt at home out of my home, rooms are spacious and the view is OMG! Highly recomanded!

We stayed on 19th floor at the best hotel in Tirana. Excellence everywhere. It is located at the city center. Everything is next to you. Very friendly staff (especially Jetmira and Vera, who did everything for us to have a clean room, and the guys at the breakfast). Luxurious rooms with magnificent view. Relaxing spa center and a gym in order to keep your fitness. Don t miss the party that get place on 23th floor.RECOMMENDED

AVOIDWill discriminate with no apparent reason.We were a party of 3 girls and 2.boys.Reception confirmed there are available bookings.The security did not allow us in without rationale explanation.We just left for the next bar very disappointed about this "5star" experienceAvoid

So shocked to arrive at a 5star hotel and be treated by ganster type staff, we were told there was no space without a reservation and then saw others let in without reservation. Male staff threatening the women in our group it was shocking. Do not go if you can avoid it.

There was no bar in the evening.Only one on the 23rd floor where you had to pay 5000 lek (45 €and therefore does not cost inside because it was full. for a 5 star hotel is unacceptable.

The hotel is AMAZING! Inside and outside, a real gem! The people at the reception are really helpful and nice, the house keeping are one of a kind - the best people I ever met in my life, the spa personnel happy and calm - just as you would expect them to be!Overall a great experience, thank you for having me 💙

I was for a week at the Plaza Hotel. But, on 10.10.2021 at 03:00 in the morning the fire alarm started and we left the room on the 15th floor. When I got down to the reception table, almost all the guests had gotten off. Smoke had engulfed the hotel. We asked for clarification of what was going on and their response was "Someone lit a cigarette in the room, and now everything is fine." I asked for clarifications and again the same answer. But the police came and started interrogating the two waiting employees, but they also did not cooperate properly with the police. But it should be noted that the police have acted. Loud music was heard at the time. police responded by imposing fines for non-compliance with anti-covid measures. The staff in question prioritizes their business over the lives of the guests who were there. They told guests "okay dont worry because it was a cigarette alarm, and you can go back to the room". Many guests left the hotel, we were all traumatized, stressed, and from the hotel staff again the trend was material ojesa than the guest, also their lie continued the same. Guests were fleeing this fragile hotel. I also asked for clarification from the police and then from the hotel staff I was informed that there was a fire because there was a wedding on the 3rd floor. We stayed about two hours on the 1st floor and lastaj returned to the rooms. The fire had engulfed a hall on the 3rd floor and smoke had engulfed the entire hotel, and staff were looking at how to trick guests into staying there, but not caring about our lives or the danger was permanent. We are disappointed with this occasion, and with the lack of care of the staff at the plaza hotel. We left the hotel traumatized, and I never want to hear about this hotel again. My message is "Do not visit this hotel, your life is in constant danger, they do not offer you any help, they lie to you if you ask for clarification, they are fraudsters, the hotel is already their advertisement, money is more valuable than life Humans ". I have a video dated 10.10.2021 and I will address it to the legal authorities. The managerial practice from Hotel Plaza was not known to the media and no one cared about his life. DO NOT visit, staying at this hotel is safe. Take care for your self, hotel plaza is just one fake hotel with a bouncer staf.

Its a good hotel excellent service but no pool, by the way the jakuzi in spa needs to get clean immediately there was hair and all buch of grease in it.

We always stay here as its the best in terms of location, price, and service. Having been both a tourist and local and different stages, there is no better option with walking distance to everything Tirane and panoramic views of the city from all rooms. The reception team is top notch in service and personality, we specifically prefer Olta, she is personal favorite and the best!

Amazing hotel, the view from my room was stunning, room service meals were beautiful, breakfast was great and there always seems to be a spare table no matter what time I went, and one morning I slept in and missed the cleaners but they came back later to clean my room. I also enjoyed the casino; great atmosphere. The spa had amazing facilities but the floor was like black ice when wet and I slipped over, they definitely used the worst possible flooring for a spa. The only other things letting down the hotel are the lack of ‘Albanian’ feel - I’d say it’s probably not for tourists wanting to explore and get a feel for Albania, the ground level bar never seemed to be staffed, the receptionists are miserable and blunt and I couldn’t wear white socks or be barefoot in my room due to the floor being so mucky - I saw the cleaner thoroughly mopping my floor but I suspect it was with already mucky water - she may want to change her mop bucket water more regularly. I’ll be back but hopefully I don’t get either of the female receptions who checked me in and out.

Im only giving it the star because of the cleaning lady who was really nice to me during my stay. The staff at the reception was really arrogant and made my stay at the hotel unbearable. Will not visit again , the visuals of the hotel dont excuse the staffs behaviour. Would rather book at Boka or Loti hotel which are around the same area.

No Roomservice at Night! We was dying fpr Water after our Show and they really told us in a weird tone that the Roomservice is closed, but we just need water! Its a 5 star hotel! Never happened to me!- No Pool- no smoking terrace ( you need to go for every cigarette to the main entrance)The other things are all 5 star worthy.

Maritim Plaza is the best hotel in Tirana. Located in the center of the city, next to the Skanderbeg square and minutes away from all other interesting places in the city. It has spacious rooms with elegant and modern design, many of them with a nice view of the city. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. I highly suggest visiting the bar at the top floor to enjoy your drink with a fantastic view of Tirana. The only reason I didn’t gave 5 stars is that internet connection was slow, only allowing checking emails and light browsing, not suitable for business customers like me

I enjoyed my stay, the rooms are very clean and the staff very hospitable. The hotel is very well placed and easy walk to all the main attractions. I am most definitely going to stay there again. The restaurant is on the expensive side but high quality food. There are many places around town to eat... love Albania! Good job Plaza

Personnel is genuinely attentive. The room was very comfortable, had both a shower and a bath tub.The only downsides so far: 1. I cant seem to find the switches for the bathroom lights, which is a bit annoying. 2. That subtle (yet not so subtle for a non-smokersmell of cigarette ruins the experience.Looking forward to the breakfast offering...

Absolutely excellent view, service and quality.The only negative we had was the check in process. They are very specific about how many people are in the rooms. Haven’t had that issue before. But if you are with more than one person, make sure to make your reservation with more than one.They will charge you extra if you don’t...Other than that, enjoy the spa, take in the beautiful rooms with excellent beds, bathroom showers and mood lighting.Will be visiting again for sure on my next Tirana visit.Enjoy

This is pretty close to hotel perfection. The location is fantastic, the staff were extremely helpful, the spa is amazing and the breakfast was great. The only downside we had was having a room that faced the square; there is a night club that blasts music until 4 in the morning, but the staff kindly moved our room in the middle of the night.

The hotel and rooms are clearly very new and there are many smart features implemented in the hotel that make life easy staying there. The staff were great, room service was decent, the facilities like the Spa were really nice.But I had one issue with my room, the air conditioning wasnt positioned well in the room in my opinion. Even at it coldest setting and highest fan setting I could barely feel it while staying in the bed.

The hotel and its staff are both amazing. The quality of the food is amazing. The location is amazing.However, during their new years eve gala the food service was not acceptable. At 01;00 we were still waiting for the turkey dish and the cheesecake.Everything took... such... a... long... time....Its a great place, their staff is friendly and kind and their risotto is increadible. But on New years eve of all nights you cannot have your food service break down this badly.

Brand new and really top notch. This is the kind of hotel that is worth bookmarking and returning. The room is very futuristic, clean and excellently designed. The SPA area is one of the best I have seen in the world. The one complaint I have - for this level of a hotel, you MUST IMPROVE BREAKFAST. I mean, this is next level type of hotel, but there is even no omelette station, no coffee machines, and the offer doesnt change much. Very basic and rudimentary hotel food. I hope the kitchen is upgraded to match the level of the rooms and spa ;Otherwise, one of the Best hotels I have stayed at, world wide.

Modern design. Wifi is free and high speed. Room is spacious room with good lighting. Bathroom is clean and shower is good. There is attractive view of the city in higher floors because of the floor to ceiling large windows. Good soundproof room. The hotel is located right in the centre of city. Sights are nearby and within walking distance. A shopping mall is just across the street. There is free use of spa and gym for hotel guests. The breakfast has a lot of varieties.

Great location, newly finished excellent hotel. I could not find time to try spa. Receptionists did not inform me about the famous spa. Rooms are clean and spacious. Altough I stayed at 12. Floor, there was a lot of noise coming from the street.

My wife and I are expat Americans living in Albania, and went to the Plaza Tirana for a short getaway. The staff was friendly, helpful, responsive and attentive. Spa facilities are excellent and well-maintained. The price of our room included a breakfast buffet, virtually unlimited use of the spa, and a late (17:00checkout, which made it very reasonable in our judgment. We liked it and will stay there again.

Was just passing through and booked a night. The stay was so pleasant I book another.Excellent hotel, true 5 star. Facilities are great, staff is ready to help. Wifi is strong and free parking is available on site, underground.Lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, museums, and things to do within a 1KM radius.

I loved my stay the Plaza Tirana. I was treated very well. The spa is very relaxing and has a lot of amenities. The bed in the room was comfortable. The complimentary break fast was good each day, with delicious coffee and fresh orange juice. Will only stay here when I am in Tirana.

Overall feel of the hotel was very pleasant. Very good gym, very good spa. These extras really helped the overall experience. Travelers should all use the gym more often, it helps a person to get acclimatized after long flights. The quality of the spa was unexpected and a very big surprise, it helped a great deal with the jet lag and making a person feel better.
