The Pizza Shop --- great pizza, fresh ingredients with nice crust.... but the little garlic flavored bread/knots with marinara are amazing --- they alone are worth the visit. Pizza Shop has a nice selection of lagers and ales. Good specials too. I shoulda taken pictures, but the food is pretty much gone as I think of writing this. Will do that next time. The staff is friendly and helpful... Kevin owns the place and will make sure you are okay. This is my go to place that I gotta visit when I am in Jaco.

Pre COVID the good draft craft beer was good, now after COVID it’s great. IPA, Pina IPA, Pale ale or Pilsner is $3.50 US, aka 2500 Colonies.Also a place also opened just behind this with craft beer and bar. Tuesday thru Sunday 5PM -2am. Try it too

Pizza was awesome and they threw in some garlic knots which were absolutely delicious. It was a bit pricey, but everything in Costa Rica and especially beach towns is expensive.

Trust me when I say this, I’m not super picky, especially when it comes to pizza but But this place was nowhere near a 4.6 rating!People were nice and it came fast but dominos or Costco beats this place up all day long. When you order anything with this type of rating, I’ve got to expect better and it wasn’t cheap!

Best pizza and smoked wings in Jaco, and it ain’t close. Chooch bread is a must. Smoked bacon to go is a nice touch also.

Great pizza and lots of CR beers on tap. Got some garlic knots on the house as some others have - was late and not busy when we showed. Little pricey but worth it. Staff is awesome :)

Great convenient location for a family on vacation. The location is on the main drag of Jaco. That evening they had a special offer for $20.00USD. The offer included a LG 2 topping pizza, a order of garlic knots and a 2lt soda. The staff was courteous and the pizza was delicious. I would recommend The Pizza Shop in Jaco.

My daughters and I had been traveling most of the day so we were looking for something comforting and easy. Wow! The Pizza Shop was that place. The Pizza Shop hit it out of the park. The fresh meats had a delicious lightly smokey flavor that perfectly complemented the red sauce. On top of great pizza, the low key local atmosphere and the exceptional friendly staff makes this a must if in Jaco.

We forgot to take pictures of the wings and trust me it is yummy! I highly recommend. The people are also really great 👍

Super nice guys, amazing service! I ordered pizza, meatballs and 2 beers (red ale and the Chilly beer, which was surprisingly good!), everything tasted great. There was a bit delay in my order cause they got big delivery order, but I got free bread sticks and 1 free beer, honesty I didn’t mind to wait cause the music was great.

This pizza is amazing. Just eat here. Ingredients are sourced with care. The beer is delicious and inexpensive. Many delicious pizza toppings to choose from. The chicken wings are next level. Did I mention the pizza is amazing? It is. Go.

This Pixxa shop serve real US style Pizza. The cheese is imported from the US and the Crust is VERY good. Would def recomend.

We got the extra grande S.M.D.C, the flavor was average and we felt the cost was higher than other pizza places in town.

Just ok. The food was decent but certainly nothing special. The guy working the register, I’m not sure if he’s the owner, I think he hates his job. A complete inability to smile and uses the fewest words humanly possible. I felt like I was a major interruption in his day.

Pizzas are large. Garlic knots were excellent. Craft beers are well priced (1,200 for a smallalthough the beer house (next doorhas a better selection. Only gripe was with their paper plates - really necessary? They also gave everything (cheese, chilli flakes, saucesin these tiny plastic sachets. Again, is this really necessary?So in short, pizzas excellent - mountains of plastic waste created from said pizza meal, less so.

The Pizza Shop is THE pizza place in Jaco. Excellent service, pizza was great. Huge menu with many diverse culinary choices. Greeted by Gabriel the moment we walked in, brought us frosty cold drinks right away, along with a (complimentaryorder of hot and buttery garlic bread knots. One of my friends ordered spicy buffalo wings, and a pepperoni pizza slice. The wings were cooked perfectly and the pizza was excellent as well. My other friend and I both ordered personal pizzas. Hers(The Maui Wowiehad chicken, peppers and pineapple. She loved every bite. I ordered The Hipster Craze that had spinach, almond pesto sauce and lots of mozerella. Absolutely delish! Wings were some of the best Ive had and I absolutely love wings from the states. Pizza was good, I enjoyed the buffalo chicken. Some friends felt it was doughy, but not so much me. We got it to go.

The Pizza Shop in Jaco Walk in Costa Rica came in the clutch. The food tastes good and it is conveniently located near the beach. I enjoyed coming there.

Absolutely great pizza. The Timmayy (sp?was wonderful. The sausage was spicy, the buffalo chicken was so tasty, and drafts were awesome. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Totally recommend.

We loved it!!! We ordered their specialty pizza with chorizo, a maple chorizo and pepperoni!!! The beer was on tap! Service was awesome... personable.... and prompt! The little pizza dough appetizers with garlic butter were beyond delicious!!! They are offered complimentary!!! We also had the chicken wings!!! Again.... amazing!!! You do have to walk past the ladies offering massages ( offered to my husbandbut hey.... another experience!!! If you want pizza.... this is the place to go!!!

Excellent little pizza shop right on the main strip of downtown Jaco. Perfectly executed pizza with delicious fresh ingredients. Equally delightful is the local beer they have on tap. If you stop by and leave without trying the Piña ale or Dünkel, youre doing yourself a disservice

Truly the best place in town to have pizza. Arrived before they opened and was treated like royalty. Luis, our waiter, made us feel at home. Met his four year old son who is absolutly adorable. Only 4yrs old and surfing already for 7 months. What a sweetie. While we waited Luis brought us a shot of chiliguaro and garlic bread. All on the house. The pizza was over the top. Great experience. Highly recommend.

This honestly may have been the best meal I had in Jaco. Thats not a knock on the other places here, but The Pizza Shop is just that good. I ordered the calzone with house made meatballs and sausage and I was blown away. It may have been the best calzone Ive ever had. They also have some craft beer on tap which made the meal even better, I highly recommend this place to anyone in Jaco!

The pizza is great but DO NOT MISS the smoked wings and meat selection! Never thought I’d have some of the best wings in my life outside of the US but here we are 🤷🏼‍♂️

WOOOOOW. Been in country now 10 days. Numerous meals. This is far and away the most flavorful food in country. The meatball Stromboli is outstanding. Smoked for 7 hours and you taste every hour. The wings are phenomenal. Smoked 8 hours. And you get the shoulder of the wing. The staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. Honestly best food I have had in a long time. Meatballs are the best I have had anywhere. The wings I would stack against anyone. Go, you will love it!

Fantastic Pizza in Costa Rica! Wed been in country a couple weeks and love the local fare, but we were craving some good pizza, you know? We highly recommend you give this shop a try! We are bigger than your average family and this place not only served us amazing NY style pizza, they didnt break the bank. Nice and thin, cooked perfectly, great ingredients! Prices were fair for what we ordered (the XL). They even have this cool graphic on the wall, so you can easily see how big your pizza will be with how many slices. The staff were cool too, even gave us a few garlic knots on the house! (Not saying everyone gets that, it was the slow season They were delicious, by the way, and recommend you order some. The sauce is really nice, not boring but not too spicy. Like Goldilocks - just right. Jonathan (owner/manager? - not surewas really nice and personable. Dont leave Jaco, Costa Rica without checking this place out. Thank you for great pizza, guys!

Great place, great pizza! The sizes are really large and the ingredients are very good quality. The beer is crafted in the same place and is totally worth to try. I recommend to order the garlic bread that was one of the best Ive try in a long time. If youre up for pizza in Jacó, this is the place!

Great place to chill. Pizza was awesome and so was the there home brew. The complementary garlic bread and dip really made you feel welcomed or maybe it was Joe . I think it was Joe who took the time to socialize with us. PURA VIDA.

Such a wonderful experience. After a long hard day of travel, the hospitality received from everyone at the pizza shop was so refreshing. The music and names for their pizza are awesome and thats nothing compared to the in house prepared ingredients. I strongly recommend that you stop in and enjoy the amazing atmosphere.

THIS is it! The ONE slice your soul has been searching for. That pizza taste of glory, the flavor king of all crusty snack. The melted cheese of procreation and the tomatoe sauce of all delightness gods. That pizza is so fresh its almost still alive.The ninja turtles wouldve dig a whole damn tunnel from new york to costa rica for a slice of that glory crusted epic pizza.They also serve that breaded garlic thingy that makes your heart skip a beat and your tastes buds cry for more of that foodish dream.There is a nice selection of cold beers for every one of you. I drowned in some kind of mild dark booze that seemed to have a name. But who knows. You will have to check it out.

Let me start by saying my favorite food is pizza. However, here is Costa Rica, good pizza is hard to find. Even when you go to pizza chains, such as pizza hut, it still taste bad.The Pizza Shop is the exception. This place knows pizza, NY style pizza. Thin, crispy crust with real mozzarella and real ingredients. Their prices are reasonable, and service is definitely better than any locally ran establishment.This is the BEST pizza in Jaco and probably Costa Rica.

Had a amazing experience met one of the owners, the prices are fair seeing as though you get what you pay for and that is to be said. As a slice was 2$ and when bitting into it everything was perfect just like the pizza back home even the crust was not burnt and just a bit soft on the inside and crunch on the out, funny thing to even say the wife never eats the crusts on the pizza except last night when trying this place. Everyone should try this place when coming into Jaco

Extraordinarily good pizza + thoughtful service + unpretentious setting and facilities = unmissable.We were only visiting Jaco briefly and were enticed by the good reviews of this place. Definitely worth it (actually... worth the trip to Jaco alone).Good choice of pizzas - including make-your-own - sides and desserts.I rarely leave reviews for restaurants of any description; but this place deserves to do very well. Honestly... I couldn’t fault a single thing.

Its not just a kickass pizza youre eating. It is an experience sitting here. The guys really think along in order to provide the best service possible. Ingredients are pure, baked fresh and nice tunes were played.

Nice environment. Cool staff and good pizza! I actually had the smoked chicken wings. They were good. If Im totally honest, I think they could use a different sauce. Nonetheless, overall a good experience. And I would definitely eat here again.

Came here at night to enjoy a pizza. Our order got mixed up and took a long time. The owner came out and offered us some free beers and appetizers. Now that’s what I call great customer service. The pizza tasted really good too. Will definitely come back when back in Jaco. La Pura Vida!
