The Pink Cow Akasaka - Mexican restaurant in Nishishinminato, Japan
We had two vegan burritos which were delicious! The service was on point. The ambient gave us "living room" vibes which is not hundred percent our style but it didnt matter much because the food was really good!
Very small little restaurant which looks like a simple living room with sofas round the edge of the room that have small tables. The food was a little expensive, but the burritos were delicious, as well as the salsa and guacamole. The waiter spoke good English and was really friendly. Only enough space for 4 small groups and seemed quite popular.
A comforting atmosphere with tasty eats -- like eating a burrito in a university students tidy apartment.Menu and conversations with the waiter made it clear the contents of each burrito, and substitutions were accommodated where requested.Would easily recommend as one of the better burritos in Tokyo.
Tiny place with a cramped feel, but the food was tasty. Mostly variations on the same few ingredients. Many vegan options.
Delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Best burritos I’ve had in Japan.
Small place, great food, nice ambience, vegetarian options included, highly affordable.
This was seriously so good! Prices were good and portions were large! So impressed! The funky decor also added to the overall experience! Highly recommend this hole in the wall!
Very cozy little place. The burritos here are unmatched anywhere in Tokyo.
A great assortment of Cali Mex cuisine! Especially recommended for vegetarian/vegan, as they are more than willing to adjust for dietary restrictions. An excellent place to please eaters of vegan and non vegan plate alike!
Absolutely delicious. Tasted so much like the Tex Mex food from back home. The price was great and the meal so filling. I got the chicken burrito lunch set, just minus the salad. Would definitely recommend this place!
Excellent food! Had the chicken Burrito lunch set, very tasty and fulling, overall great value for 1,000 yen. Cold nama tap beer. Friendly service too, will definitely be back again!
Great food! Love it! With really reasonable price!!
Good food for the price.Would go again next time I am in the area.
Simply the best Mexican food in Tokyo, Traci is a fantastic host, shell make you feel like your visiting a friends home while chatting over a plate of good soul food or a drink. Definitely worth a visit.
The interior is a bit shabby, but the food is delicious. Both meat and vegetarian/vegan options are available.Visited during lunch time, so the menu was limited.
Fast service, good portions, tasty enchiladas and burritos.
This is the best Tex-Mex I’ve had since I’ve been in Japan. If you’re ever in the area, come here.
I was staying I. Tokyo one night and was perusing google for a nearby take- out restaurant. I came across The Pink Cow. I called to order, and was surprised the person on the phone answered in English. I placed my order and walked there from my hotel room. It was a little difficult to find. It’s in a building, down a narrow alley, down some stairs. But, it was so worth it. I enjoyed the food immensely. The staff was very friendly. The food was fresh and very tasty. The flavor was amazing. The next time I visit Tokyo, I’m going back.
Hearty, filling meals with lots of flavor. You choose the filling of your burrito yourself so it is very flexible and easy for vegetarians/vegans. Cheap and tasty, and interesting interior design!
Thanksgiving dinner was pretty good, if you could about 15 people, there is a chance to book it as private
Food was really tasty and carefully prepared. I had a fulfilling but not at all heavy dinner. Definitely recommend!
Food was good. It’s in the basement, hippie atmosphere. There was a music live going on? Too many ppl in the small place. Pls don’t talk over foods without mask and pls wear masks at the first place when you make foods.
Sooo delicious, so fresh. I got the black bean and cheese burrito, it really was sooooo good. The tortilla on the burrito was grilled perfectly, the rice had perfect flavor and I really liked the ingredients in the salad, the dark leafy greens were the perfect compliment. Would definetly come backLunch special is a good deal
Many good Mexican places around Tokyo, but this is one of my favorite
This restaurant is completely amazing. The food is prepared very well and definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the local Akasaka area. Its a little bit of a wait for the food to be prepared, however, it is totally worth the wait. The staff speaks English and they also accept credit card. I highly recommend this establishment if youre looking for a good vegetarian meal.
Food is great, staff friendly. Very small, but cozy... Oh and the drinks selection is great!
Cozy little Mexican spot in Akasaka. They have an English menu and speak English; super friendly and helpful staff. The chicken enchilada was really tasty!
Very quiet and our of the way but the food was really good! Nice to have a bit of fresh tex mex in the middle of a holiday eating very rich foods. Got the chimichanga and naked burrito, both very good.
They are consistently personable artists who cate about what they do. They attract a comfortable and relaxed international group of clients and they are laid back. If thats your scene, great. They also host western style meals by reservation only during the holidays and its a good time.
The vegan Mexican food is just amazing. This place has a very hip vibe to it and the host is amazing too.Love the food and the place.
Very tasty food and pleasant atmosphere. Beautiful pictures on the walls make you think about infinity of being... but of course everyone will find own meaning....
Excellent tex mex food, great selection of ale, wine and beer, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere ❤️👌🍺
Amazing Spot. Highly recommended. The owner is a beautiful Soul, the food is super tasty and its just a Great experience all together!
Awesome burritos, and a good break from japanese food for anyone travelling abroad. Cozy, warm and very welcoming!Plus the chips were amazing! It was sad to see the bowl become empty so quickly. Thank you for a great meal!
Food is amazing. It was quite on the night we went but the owner shows major dedication by taking orders, bartending and cooking the food! I would definitely recommend this place!
We just had the starters and are waiting for the main menue, but were super happy already! The food is absolutely delicious and the Pink Cow has a really nice and cozy atmosphere. 5/5 - absolutely recommended!Edit: Just had the burritos - fantastic! Its a very unique interpretation of a burrito but in a great way! I love it!
I recommend here if you like American-Mexican burito. I got a beef brito lunch for ¥1000, and it’s so good. A plate had a small cup of seasoned rice, salad, and burito. I’d like to visit here at night if it’s non-smoking.I’m not 100% sure, but they offer vegetarian choices for all the menu. I say ‘not 100% sure’ because some Japanese restaurants serve a meal with a bits of meat/broth as “vegetarian”.
Great place to enjoy mexican food ! We had tortilla chips which are homemade and served with guacamole and pico de gallo, chicken salad and beef burrito : everything was very tasty and made with super fresh products. A good place to eat something different from japanese food.
I would rate this 4.8. Their lunch set meals are reasonable for 1000yen. Vegetarians can also eat here. The ingredients are fresh.
Fantastic food if you’re patient. Owner waits tables/bartenders/makes the food. Cook puts in a lot of effort into his dishes and are delicious.I had the samosa burrito and someone else in my group ordered a chimichanga. Both were great!Only in Tokyo for a few days but will definitely try to come back at least once before I leave!
Quite a cozy place. A little difficult to find as it is located in the basement. Good food. The y provide vegetarian menu! Do try!
Best home-made mexican food I ever taste.A must go if you are around and hungry.Everything just tick the right boxes in taste and restaurant theme.Burrito...top classGuacamole...deliciousDorritos...bestSalad...greatDrinks...pick what you want. They have the vegetarian and vegan option, which also taste GREAT.Located in the basement beside a huge office building.Friendly owner and staffs.Like seriously...go there.
We came off peak hour and were served really fast. Tried both the fried and the sauce versions or the beef burrito. Oichi!
The food was good, the place is a little small and cozy. Do try the chimichanga! Has options for vegans and vegetarians!
Not authentic, but the chef clearly has talent. The recipes were inventive and tasty. I find it quite odd that the gluten free options are very limited and don’t include tortillas, when most Mexican food is naturally gluten free. I used to live in Jalisco.
Great food. Set out looking for authentic Japanese Mexican cuisine. Found authentic California Mexican cuisine run by Americans. 10/10
Best drink ever!!! And the food is really good!!!
Love the new location! This is closer to the original in Shibuya and I think it’s a fresh vibe. Good burritos, affordable drinks and good music. The art is a nice touch 👍🏽 Definitely check it out.
I am a huge fan of the pink cow and their vegan parties :also, the owner is the coolest person in the entire world.
Provisional rating is three stars because it is way too trendy for my taste. Decided to let it stand because the pricing seemed too high. Food was better than I expected.
