Been in tonight and had fajitas and mixed grill absolutely amazing quality. Steak on the mixed grill was cooked to perfection couldnt fault it at all. Great friendly staff would definitely recommend.
Excelllent food … polite staff and amazing atmosphere … would recommend 👍
Amazing food, great service overall and well looked after.
Great choice of beers and cocktails. Friendly atmosphere and a lovely place to eat.Plenty of outside and undercover space with tables
Great food great price and the staff are really friendly
Couldnt do enough for me, brilliant service and when the didnt have the thong I wanted cooked me another thing! Really good look to the pub and a brilliant menu with great vegan options, good section of beers and great prices!!
Ate here for years, tonight my husband ordered mixed grill there was no mushrooms no tomatoes steak was well done he ordered medium rare , I ordered clucking chicken burger which was stringy and not nice no salad no coleslaw told a member of staff who basically did nothing , it was the same a few weeks ago but thought we would give it another go never again .
Nice little pub on Ormesby Bank. Perfect for a little meal and a drink! Great if you are local and cater for kids very well! Has some outdoor seating next to the cat park. Speed bumps coming in are a bit harsh so take it easy. Burgers here are nice and the new revamped menu is awesome! Mrs had the Chinese pork and I was disappointed! I had a burger which was very nice but the pork was lush! Enjoy!
Not been to a sizzling pub before. Great choice of different dishes to have than a usual pub menu. Great service and highly recommend
We are regularly at the pub for dinner tea etc 6 of us have just been down for food I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH BAD FOOD !!! sent it back as it was cold and when it came back it was still cold 5 meals and not one of them was edible
Had loads missing off menu again, who is paying the managers too do orders, they never have everything on the menu
Usually good food but a burnt offering for a lasagne today had to return it! Friendly and efficient staff.
Nice and cosy neighbourhood pub, we explored first to avail the Priority app deal but now it has become a weekly affair. Staff really friendly, always having a fun chat with my 4 year old!
Staff were friendly but the food wasnt very good.. They had ran out of a couple of ingredients, swaps offered - fair enough but then the food took ages to arrive, was completely overcooked/burnt and small portions. Wont be going back here.
Delicious food. Great service. Friendly atmosphere.
Visited last night for Rock and Roll bingo would definately recomend. Staff were great food was lovely.
Very poor indeed.Service was excellent but the food let them down badly.Rare steaks were medium rare at best and well done at worst.A very big shame for a very popular pub.
God what an experience food disgusting and we have all been bad since
Last 3 visits to the piper had the mixed grill like my stake medium rare it was like rubber gamon was over cooked will not be going there again egg was crunchy worst meal ever 1 out of ten 😑
Fantastic food, great service very good prices. Only critism is that the chicken on the mixed grill was a little over cooked so was a bit tough but everything else perfect. The fish and chips actually tasted like fish.
Fantastic staff, prices are good, food was lovely
Absolutely beautiful food kids well catered for vast menu choice
Great pub, great staff and fantastic choice of food and drinks :)
Great food and service would recommend
Excellent service, attentive bar staff, great atmosphere. Lovely experience
Been in for food a few times now and all I can say is the food has never let me down.Good size portions cooked very well decent prices (dont have your eyes out). Place is always clean and tidy. Will definitely be back again
Went with the whole family and it was a massive order but everything came correctly and fast and hot. Amazing service and the staff are so friendly. Will 100% return next time Im in the area.
Ordered steak, tough as old boots,no mushroom as advertised, told waitress and that was the end of it no apology or explanation as to why. Wont be going back even if its my local.. conquest is better 🤡
Great Burger. Very nice staff an a nice location!
Great service as usual. Love the new Belly Pork, its my new favourite dish
Thanks for some lovely food with great service, loving the new menu will be back soon
Absolute shambles of a pub... Poor organisation... Booked a table for 11 people for mothers day and they forgot to put our booking in the diary... They had to turn us away wen we turned up... Avoid at all costs... Terrible service and terbblie organisation... Wont be going back there in the future
Cheesey chips and bacon starter came luke warm.My wifes cottage pie looked like an asda microwave meal.My chicken platter was half cold and the other was not propper hot.Wife got a free Eton Mess as compo but still cost almost £20
Excellent service + Food was delicious. Dessert was yummy, 😊 thank you
Visited Pied Piper at lunchtime and decided to give the Senior special a try. Two courses for £4.79. I had tomato soup with baguette followed by the salad. Husband had soup/scampi chips and peas and Sister had gammon, pineapple chips and peas followed by treacle sponge to ice cream and custard. All meals were lovely and the staff were really helpful and pleasant. Will definitely visit again.
Lovely food didnt wait long staff friendly
My husband and I took our daughter to the Pied Piper for the Christmas Fare today. when we arrived today we were greeted and taken to a lovley table near the window all set out for Christmas Lunch Crackers etc.The first course we had Prawn Cocktail the dish was lovley (so many prawns). The second course was Christmwas Dinner (OMG When the waitress brough the meal all three of us just looked in AMAZAMENT.. The plate was large and was completley full, but food was cold, parsnips were black and burnt, pigs in blankets were the same. Roast potatoes were soft, there was a mixture of green vegetables (sprouts etcthey were not even cooked just RAW and the Turkey was not fresh.(Processed Meat We got the feeling that it was left over from yesterday and they had heated it up in the microwave. The three of us did not speak we ate everything to the best of our ability..When we got the next course we could not complain (it was xmas puddingvery nice. But I must say that I have never had Xmas pudding in a long (OBLONG)piece I thought xmaspuddings were round. We should have complained at the time but we brought our daughter out for a treat but we didnt want to cause a fuss and spoil the afternoon. I AM SORRY BUT I COULD NOT RECOMAND THIS SIZZLING PUB TO ANYONE AFTER OUR UNPLEASANT EXPERIANCE...
My family and I went to Pied Piper, it was quite busy and was told food would be 40 minutes, we waited an hour, when it came it was over cooked and dry, the cheesecake was warm. This is the second time Ive been here with my family, but wont give it another chance.
not All the menu was availableThe scampi was mehThe burger however was inedible as it needed a chainsaw to cut it, however as I am part Labrador I managed to get it down my neck. The lemonade was flatAnd the latte was milky however overall it was how I expected it to be (bad food from Middlesbrough)
Young man called Elliot served us, top class service lovely person hes an asset to the company. Impeccable manners and a genuine person, we will definitely go back
Food was dry drinks are expensive staff very friendly no size streak included in meals so had to pay extra 2pound even tho it was with the meal no childrens forks or plastic plates this is suppose to be toad in the hole chips are dry as bone sausages were so hard my girl couldnt chew them
Today we had cottage pie and really wish we hadnt. It seemed to be a frozen readymeal cottage pie from the freezer shop down the road. The edge was overcooked and burnt, my knife wouldnt even cut it. If I hadnt have prepaid wed have walked out. This was most disappointing because our previous meals here have always been very good. Not sure what happened today.
The atmosphere in here is always pleasant and the age range is wide and varied. Staff are very helpful and always polite. Food can be a bit hit or miss which is the only thing that can let this great little place down.
Mine and my wifes meal were good as usual but we had our nice with us for a treat unfortunately not much of a treat as the pizza she had was hard as cardboard and not enjoyable for her we took her to pizza hut to make up 😞
Lovely food reasonably priced and staff where very friendly.
Visited the pied piper to have a meal and some drinks with my family, fantastic staff, very helpful, always made sure we were comfortable and happy. On the food side of things I have to say just incredible. Not a long wait for food even with the restaurant being busy. The whole family enjoyed there meals non had a bad word to say about anything we experienced. 5 stars to the team who work there especially the kitchen staff. We will most certainly be coming back.
Staff were helpful and efficient, bar service was swift but thats as good as it got. The sirloin was well done instead of being rare and more like a minute steak, my mushroom looked like a road kill bat and it was overpriced.
