The Pheasant Blue Collar Bar & Grill - Bar & grill in Hermiston, United States
Service was great, the special not so good
Tasty drinks and great staff
Was there with a very attractive and fun to be around girl and I miss her so much ashley myers
Had chicken fried steak and it was tuff and tasteless. Coffee was warm tasted watered down. Less than friendly staff there. So hard to get a good meal in Hermiston.
Great food, big portions and some of the friendliness staff I had in a long time. Thanks for the great food and service
Had some smash burgers and they were pretty awesome.
Love this place by far the best hamburgers in umitilla county!! Old school hamburgers not coming from a processed meat market where you dont know whats in the ground beef. No fancy stuff just good home cooking. Great drinks and just hometown crew.
If you’re a POC Avoid going here. Dirty looks all thru the restaurant even from staff and very rude staff. Ended up not dining there.
Great staff very warm, nice variety of activities to do and fun dance floor.
This a nice bar, of course I hadn’t been in one in a decade but I was in town for the holidays and got together with an old friend and she brought me to this bar for a couple of beers and conversation. It was a little loud for my taste.
Food is way over priced. Evening Bartender was not friendly. Under staffed.
Pretty good food.. first time there and the staff was amazing!! Helped the groups that came in. Decent food..
Its unfortunate, Ive heard so many good things about this place and that just wasnt what my husband and I experienced. We got there around 915 on a Saturday. There was no sign stating "please wait to be seated" nor "seat yourself". The lady that was running the front did not acknowledge us at all until we started to move to one of the 5 empty tables on the smaller side of the restaurant. She then said Ill be withyou in a moment. She seated us, we got our coffee and water. It took about 20 min for her to come take our order, we ordered the same thing. During the hr and half wait the place started to fill up. It was after we saw her serve 2 tables that came in long after we did that we decided to leave. She completely forgot about us although I dont see how as we were seated right across from the hostess booth. We wont be going back there again.
I used to eat here in 1978 & 79, while driving thru Hermiston I was happily surprised that this little gem was still there with the same awesome Chicken fried steak breakfast. Im looking forward to my next visit in a couple weeks.
I havent been to The Pheasant in a long time and was pleasantly surprised by the new remodel. Great and friendly customer service.
Very disappointed in todays service and food. The cook was slow could work the tickets right. Food was late getting to us. Waitresses I felt should of have helped the cook instead of hanging around the front counter talking to each other. Wont be back for a while.
we are new in this town a couple years anyways but I remember the midget wrestling there was the best thing Ive seen in a long time I hope it comes back again otherwise I like the place I give it a five-star
Great prices great service. Hand made hamburgers just like mom used to do. I will make this my regular place to go.
So glad to have the doors open again for inside seating! Saturday evening fish & chips w/a cold Irish Death brewski on tap - excellent, as always 😁
What can i say its the best place for me the service cant be better i feel like family with everyone in there the food its the best you have everything there friends food games drinks and fun 😍
D is the BEST. I had the wings and a salad so not much to report but the vibe is good. Place is clean. Pool tables are open and the other patrons were cool. Parking for big rigs and minis alike. Stop in for a smashburger with macaroni on it. You wont be mad.
We had dinner here on Friday March 5th. The food was very good and the server we had that evening was very good. She was very friendly, attentive, and was very patient with everyone at our table.
Great "smash burgers". Good food and good service. We didnt have to wait to sit down and our food came in a reasonable time.
Waited an hour and 10 minutes. We ended up just paying for our drinks no discount nothing. We asked the waitress if our breakfast was even started, she said no our order wasnt even in the kitchen. Our waitress was decent however the kitchen staff was horrible we left hungry. Our normal breakfast place is crossroads truck stop. It isnt open yet I cant wait for breakfast next weekend its the best in the area CROSSROADS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 💜💜
Ownership sucks food is bar food and bartenders make the place float with there good attitudes .... drink prices change 3 times in the day so be careful on what you think your paying
The food was good. The customers made my friends and myself very uncomfortable with their stares as we are not from the area and all POC. I hate to assume that’s why but I don’t know why else it would be that way.The music got turned up anytime we tried to talk and it just was not a very welcoming environment.
A few times we went in there, the cook didnt show up, or the person that was cooking had a limited amount of food that that he or she would cook. A couple of times we had to send her food back because it wasnt cooked correctly. The cook was new and I think that had a lot to do with it. Overall, theyve been here a long time and they have pretty good down-home type cooking that I would recommend over some places. At least they are honest and willing to fix anything that happens. Ive been in restaurants where the server would actually argue with me. Not the case here they always fix it.
The food was alright, but the waitress was coughing and sneezing and not washing her hands, then touching her point of sale system, handling cards, handling cash, handling food. Im just glad I escaped without a disease.
I ordered the fish and chips. Hand cut fries (chipsand hand battered fish. You could see the food better in the pic, but I ate it all. LOL Clearly fresh ingredients, and clean fryer oil. Tartar sauce was great as well, and I suspect also hand made. Its just great to go to a mom and pop place that takes pride in not only the decor, but the food too. Im loving the clocks, of course.
Fantastic place! Stopped for lunch on a road trip, and this was definitely not your typical pop in and run kind of joint. The decor is phenomenal and unique. The food is very fresh, high quality, and classic. Definitely making this a regular stop when I take this route in the future!
Terrible service the bartender didn’t know how to make the drink I ordered and I had to explain every drink. Normally I would be understanding considering it could have been a new person but my order was a Coke and Henny along with other simple drinks. The music isn’t lively and rarely few people dance.
They have the friendliest good looking bartenders and you never have to wait around for a drink.... its comfortable and laid back but the same time you can play a game of pool or boogy down with the DJ on the bigass dance floor! They have amazing food too! Its a great place, Id definitely recommend going there.
The cook, I believe was Kandi and her cooking is on point and very fast! The server was a young girl, very sweet! The atmosphere is very inviting and the prices are good! I highly recommend!
We had a great experience with this restaurant! Living out of town and trying to cook Thanksgiving dinner with a loved one is quite hard due to timing. I called them to see if they would cater the dinner and they said yes. They went above and beyond with an affordable price. The meal was delicious and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Sadly even though the food was pretty good in flavor it was just barely luke warm, except for the potatoes and they were actually cold! It appears that they had been in the refrigerator and unsuccessfully rewarmed in the microwave...they were or tasted like instant potatoeson top of that. The other thing that was cold was the restaurant. We had to eat with our coats on which unfortunately didnt keep my feet and legs warm....the things that was good was the nice hot delish soup, the huge salad and the waitress was a doll..very sweet and efficient...so sorry guys we wont be back.
Overall would not recommend this establishment. I ordered a very common drink and none of the bartenders were competent enough to know what it was. I changed my drink after one they were very rude about my second. When it came time to order a different one they refused me service while they served my significantly smaller friend who had consumed the same amount of alcohol because I was cut off. Definitely will not be returning with my service or my patronage. I have my OLCC and I am aware of VIP signs none of which I had shown, other than common decency of thanking my bartender. I would not recommend this excuse of a business to anyone who wants a night out with drinks made in a well known mannor, or service without discrimination.
The food is good and so is the service. The atmosphere isnt going to win and awards but its a small restaurant in a bar. They are open to familys. Just your basic small town diner.
This was the first time Ive ordered food here, and although the food was good, was not so impressed with the still dirty cups and silverware, and another person in our party ordered a side salad with her lunch...all of the broccoli on her plate had mold on it! Kinda didnt help much! A little bit proud of their prices, but the sandwich I got was worth it. The waitress was fast, courteous, and friendly!
Went there for lunch, decided to play a machine and won 22$ which ended up paying for my over cooked burger and microwaveable wings that were served to me still frozen in the middle... lucky I won on the machine cause if I would have had to pay for that from my own pocket I would have been even more upset... needless to say, I won’t be back...
Easy 5-stars for hearty, delicious meals, clean restrooms, social, attentive staff, and a unique story.Ordered two Philly cheese steak sandwiches with swivel fries and a trip to the salad bar. Yum!!
Normally the best ever. This time the poor waitress was working all by herself and she really needed help. The cook was slow and the tone of her voice was disrespectful to the waitress and customers could hear it. My pancake was so cold that the butter did not melt. I will not go back on Saturday mornings again.
Salad bar had good fresh choices, wings were big and juicy and full of spicy flavor. Fish and sweet potato chips were fantastic. Staff was friendly. Looks like I have a new favorite place to eat in Hermiston.
I left full and wasnt disappointed. We showed up for breakfast and I had steak and eggs and my wife had a waffle and eggs. The lady taking our order was very nice and after placing the order the food showed up pretty quickly. My steak was just about right (medium rareand there were two eggs and a pile of hash browns to go with it... Oh and a big biscuit. My wifes waffle was fairly large and it came with two eggs and also had a pile of hash browns and bacon. It was a fairly quiet morning and there were not too many other diners there with us.The price was about average but I think that they make sure you dont leave hungry.I would definitely go to the Pheasant again to eat and in case you are wondering about the 4 stars... I am now only going to give the best of the best a 5 star rating on my reviews... I figured giving a 5 star rating to just any old place would be deceiving... So dont let the 4 stars fool you... It was a nice breakfast and I will go back, but there wasnt anything mind blowing enough to warrant a 5 star rating... Maybe someday after eating there again I will find that 5 star dish... But until then... A 4 star is definitely a keeper, a decent atmosphere, friendly staff and a great place to eat.
Waitress was absolutely disrespectful, waited almost half an hour to get a single drink, got accused of dine-and-dashing while waiting to close the tab, ZERO table service, and then got told by the waitress they were slammed and would have to wait until they were ready. Not going back and would absolutely reccomend against
Hermiston Raceways 1st annual banquet was held there, had a fantastic time! Service was top notch, food was delicious Prime Rib and Cod fillet with sides. We packed their large banquet room, streamed videos and photos of the season to their projector BIGBIG screens! Can’t wait to go again!
Great place to get good food, drink, and fun. Super friendly staff with great service.
David Ryan was the cook and made sure our food was perfect, even came out after it was served. The waitress did a good job, got busy at the end with 25 top but still made sure our pop was full.
Quick friendly service and lots of good food. Prices are very friendly as well! Make sure youre hungry. Big portions. Breakfast was great - try one of the skillets.
I go to The Pheasant on Friday evenings. They have the Best Clam Chowder ever! And I also play a little video poker while Im there. They also have special events in the lounge area. They are also a big hit when the fair/rodeo come to town. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is also nice but when we go out, The Pheasant lounge is the place to be!
These folks welcomed us with excellent service and exceptional food. The diner is separate from the bar, so be sure to check out the times listed on the website. They were accommodating to our requests, and the steak was cooked to our order!
