I would come back, really cool place to stay. The beach is near, like 3 to 5min walking. Have a walking distance places to drink or eat.

I had an incredible time staying at The Perch!! My room was clean and had everything I needed from cooking foil to towels, and coffee in the morning. My bed and the patio outside my room were so comfortable, I had to convince myself to get out and explore. Terri and Cole were very helpful in finding good food and the best beaches! I danced with the locals, and enjoyed the beach just across the street almost every night. 10/10 would recommend for anyone!

Awesome hotel and bar! Rooms were super clean and staff is some of the friendliest people I’ve met! Food at the bar is great and atmosphere is super chill. Stephane and the whole restaurant crew give great service and are always around for a nice conversation. I highly recommend the hotel and bar!

We absolutely loved this quaint little place. We had booked it for one night but ending up staying here for the whole time we were in Isabela. The rooms are neat and there is definite attention to detail. Terri was a sweetheart. She told us about places around to explore as well and even offered us swimming equipment.

Excellent service and food. Would recommend. Will be back to try the hotel part out soon.

Great place to stay. They get 5 stars based on the quality you get for such a reasonable price. This would be a kid friendly environment (although we didn’t have our kids with us this time, we know they would be comfortable here). They offer a clean, cozy place to stay near a beautiful “hidden gem” beach, a complimentary breakfast, and a bar/restaurant to hang out in at night. Rob and Terry are excellent hosts and are very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely recommend to friends/family in the future. Thanks again for the hospitality, guys!

When staying at a local Airbnb, we decided to stay close and eat at Deep Roots. I have to say that was the worse service I have ever experienced. We were put in a back room that was described as The Dining Room. It was more like a dungeon, especially since it took about 20 minutes to get our order placed. Even though the same drinks were ordered, none of them tasted the same. Half of our party was done eating their food before the others even received theirs. After talking to some other people in the area, we heard that this is the normal way customers are treated. Even the owners ignored us. After experiencing this awful place, we will never go back. On the plus side . . . we got to watch the dogs the owner brought in pee in the floor.

Very nice little spot! The room was tidy and clean, they had a few snacks for us laid out on the fridge, and you can go downstairs for a complimentary drink from the bar. The owner was outside the morning after we arrived and was very friendly and personable.

This is the best place to stay this side of the island! Walking distance to the beach, super clean well stocked rooms, in house bar with karaoke and dancing, and the absolute BEST food EVER!! Chef Chino is amazing! All the staff are friendly, courteous, and highly efficient and helpful. Absolutely recommend!! A+

Worst ever service. Been waiting for 1 hour 20 min and still got mess in our order. Tasteless food. Their signature salad is below average, salmon is dry, pasta carbonara is just cream and spaghetti...

This is the place to go. Rob is always around to make everyone feel like Deep Roots is your local bar. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks.

Delishious mofongo, kids friendly, AC area, outside area as well, professional attention on the bar, Excellent service. The amazing view of the ocean that you can not miss. We found this place through Airbnb and decided to stay as a last minute thing for Fathers Day weekend. We arrived Friday night and the owner greeted us with so much warmth! Our room was #2 and it accommodated us perfectly. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, we slept super well. For breakfast we were greeted with fresh fruit, bagels, toast, coffee and pastries. We also had lunch at Deep Roots and the food was amazing. I can continue to write awesome things about this place and its staff but I hope you get the idea by now. Were definitely returning! :)

If you are coming to Isabela, this is the place to stay! Rooms are nice and comfy. Service is above and beyond.

It had a great atmosphere and when your there they treat you like family.

I had an amazing stay at The Perch. The food was delicious and the staff is very charming and accommodating and the owners are awesome. If you want to go and just get away from it all this is the place to go. Great beach walks and in the evenings lots of local music while sipping great wine and eating the best white sauce pizza at Deep Roots. Hoping to come back later this year or early spring to do some more exploring.

Good food and good service. In the heart of Villa Pesquera in Isabela. Try their pasta with Italian sausage, mushrooms and broccoli. Awesome.

The hotel is magnificent if youre looking for a hotel that is just a few feet away from the ocean this is the spot the food is well-prepared if youre lucky you may be there on an evening when the fishmonger brings up five lobsters at a time and prepared the way the chef loves to do it with a fresh seafood stuffing.we were lucky to get one that was two and a half pounds we shared it best lobster for the price that Ive ever had anywhere in the world the wine bar is well stocked and they have a full complement of beers this is the best place in Isabella we will be returning very soon we love room number 5. Loved our stay at The Perch! The staff is super friendly and helpful, and had lots of ideas for things to do during our trip. Its only a block away from the beach and close to bike rentals, surfing and other fun things. The restaurant had amazing food and especially amazing service. We were celebrating our engagement and they made us feel right at home! We will definitely be back soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great hosts make you feel right at home. The food at the bar is excellent. The room was super clean and comfortable though we didnt spend that much time in the room since there was so much to see around the area. The beach is close and you could walk quite a ways in either direction. Its a good location to quickly get to the sights in the area by car if you need to. Breakfast in the morning is a huge plus.

Delicious food, great social hang out wonderful location. Shrimp Pasta great , the pizza is tasty Husband had spaghetti big meatballs. We ate on the bar side a great cozy room with wonderful music in the background almost got up and danced. Have yet to stay at hotel if or when my friend’s condo is booked I will most certainly pick The Perch. When I first visited PR I seen this hotel “under contract” I loved it this was the idea life!! Glad to see it active and a great local hotspot at the restaurant. Owner was friendly and passionate.

A block across from the beach, this hotel bar and restaurant are really awesome. Its clean, affordable, and it’s like a home away from home.

Great location!! Unlike the gated communities this welcoming friendly and complete hotel with a restaurant, bar and beach front. Easy access to bike trails and nearly private beaces with great snorkeling. Natural salt water pools make this ideal for children and safe swimming areas. Had a grand ole time and looking to return again !!!

Great place to stay, beach across the street. Fish Tacos are amazing. Great Bar with a vast wine selection.Hosts Rob and Terri are the best. Our family spent 5 days there and it was perfect!
