Relaxed BBQ joint known for ribs, rotisserie chicken, slow-cooked meats & familiar sides.
Food is always very good. Service always great. 4 stars on the food. We finally tried the ribs here. Honestly, they were good just not the best.
Always good food. The soups are excellent. Dropped a star because prices are getting very high for what you get.
The food is always great and fresh. I always get the mozzarella sticks and Buffalo wings 😩🤤. Please add fried pickles to the menu.
Lets start with I live about a mile away so this is a nice close choice we make frequently. That said I have experienced terrible service so many times now that I just need to vent. My order style is place order online, arrive at given time in drive thru and pick up my food. BUT literally the last 5 or so times, I pull up and its like my order is just starting to be prepared. Today I waited 30 minutes in #3 parking spot. It sucked and I honestly would just ask for my money back and leave if it wasnt for the fact that I was feeding my kiddos because I have been working all day and had to get back to it. You wasted nearly an hour of my time and lost a customer. You should concider reviewing your processes and streamlining your orders, maybe you wont lose any more customers, but I think you will.
Consistent quality food. Usually pretty busy but in and out quickly.Their house BBQ sauce is great. Very sweet.
I felt as though I was rushed to order, and a bother to the manager, instead of a valued guest. The restaurant was clean, but the booths are cramped, if the person behind you is bigger, or the same size as you. This is because their seats are connected, and the table is stationary. So, if the person in the booth behind you, moves their seat, before you sit down, youre out of luck. Despite the managers attitude, there were two other employees who had a great attitude, and were very nice. The salad was pretty small for the price, and the barbecue sauce isnt the same as I remember it; I didnt care for it. Would I go back? Given a choice of other restaurants, no. The Patio is a restaurant of circumstance... If Im in the area, and want to go somewhere to sit down and eat, thats different than a fast food restaurant, then I will stop. Other than that, Ill go somewhere else.
Food was very good and and the employees we encountered were all courteous and quick. The service was very good
Their food is delicious and they have food for pretty much all the food moods someone might find themselves in. The service is friendly, they get the food out to you quickly, and they keep the place very clean. The restaurant has lots of seating and the place has a very open, cool vibe. Ive never had anything here I havent like. Enjoy!
Food was just fair. Servers brought wrong order 3 times before getting it right. By then its cold and who knows where its been. Hold on to your receipt until you receive correct order which you paid for in advance. Wont be going back.
Food came out quick despite being a busy Sunday evening. Gumbo was very delicious my husband ordered ribs they were also very tasty.
Great place to eat in or take-out, Italian beef is comparable to any in the Chicago area especially with the sweet red peppers, I was shocked. Real battered onion rings, and surprisingly good Chili , Ribs are good but a little to lean IMO 4.2 out 5
Food is good. The sandwiches are super small for the price. I feel for what they charge that you shouldnt leave and still be hungry.
The Patio never disappoints. Food is the same no matter which location you go to. Please never sell to big corporation like Portillos did. Portillos is very bad now. The Patio clearly has the best roast beef.
I call in my order. When I arrive at the restaurant for pickup, I pay for the order ans leave. Its easy and convenient. My family loves the food. Its always very good.
Food was good as always. Service was good although they did bring us an extra meal. No complaints here.
One of several places where I work. Orders are always correct. Pricing is a little high, but food tastes good.
Staff was great, but the ribs were Tough. This is the second time I came this year and ribs were hard. Since ribs is on the sign, I expected better. Ive been coming here since the location was down the street.
Great food and customer service
Its very delicious and tender lickin bar be que and baked potato comes with the meal very good sauce too its yummy 😋 good yall!!!!!!
If youre looking for good food good service and reasonable prices this order at the counter delivered to your table non waitress served restaurants is for you. Theyre known for their ribs and chicken but have an extensive sandwich and dinner menu. Family friendly open seating.Order ahead and drive through pickup available.
Easy to use website to place order. Great salads. Something for everyones likingLarge portions.
I love the food at this restaurant and it usually doesn’t disappoint but I recently brought a fried chicken sandwich and it was disgusting. Please take this item off the menu and bring back the Cajun chicken sandwich which is 100x better.
Had ordered the full slab of ribs, and the quarter barbecue chicken for our family and it was fabulous! Would definitely return! Awesome 👌
Today we ordered from the patio in Orland park on 159th st and once again they got the order wrong I guess you need to bring a staple remover to check your food before you leave we ordered A half chicken white dinner and a quarter chicken rib combo they charge us for a quarter chicken combo and a half slab of rib dinner and they took no ownership for the mistake this happens just about every time we go to this restaurant they need to hire people that have better listening skills to take orders $45 down the drain
Had the chicken pecan and apple salad. Very filling and fresh. Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed.Always a nice amount of menu selections. Masks are now optional for guests and staff. Tables are cleaned between seatings.
Food is good, and service was good. The tables were not cleaned well. We had workers sit in our area for their breaks, and they were loud, phones were on speaker and loud as well. Usually my experience with Patio is pretty good but it was average on this visit.
Its always so good. I just wish the soup would come out at least 10 minutes before the food. Sometimes the soup comes after the food and sometimes the food comes like 2 minutes after getting the soup.Great place tho. Great food. Great atmosphere. Friendly employees.
Not sure what’s wrong with this location??? I love the patio! It’s one of my favorite places to eat. However, this location (and I have been to all of themNEVER gets the order right!!! I have given them so many chances. So, needless to say I won’t be returning! The best locations are Lombard and the location on Harlem!
So much room to sit! Also outside seating. Easy ordering process. Food is brought out to your table! The chili with cheese & onions is very tasty!! Very good coleslaw also!!
Nice place. Used to eat here at the Darien location for lunch. The chicken, apple, walnut salad is really good. Chocolate chip cookes are good too but really expensive. Its pretty inside tho.
Very nice restaurant . When you walk in its a little different than most ,though. You walk up to a counter to order your food and pay. Youre given a number to display at your table(that you pick out). Service is fast and courteous. The food I had was "outstanding"! I dont ever make comments like that about restaurant food. Casual atmosphere and attire. We stayed for about 2hrs after food was served. Another thing I dont do is hang out in restaurants after meal is over, but here we did.. Im from ST. LOUIS . I sure wish we had one there.
The Patio is a real solid restaurant. Nothing special or spectacular just real "OK" food. I would try again. But dont expect nothing extraordinary. Good service & nice people
I love the Patio! I like that the decor/atmosphere at every location is the same. The food is always delish, and employees always nice. I got the Monterey chicken sandwich with fries. As always, it was great! My husband got the brisket burger- always a hit! I took off 1 star because the bathroom was gross.
Food is still decent, but with the recent price increases the value is not there now in my opinion. Some of the price increases were over 20%. Took those pictures at noon on a Sunday. In the past, the place would be pretty full at this time. I counted less than 10 tables in total. I guess people also think the value is not there too.
Overpriced. The food was mediocre at best. 28 dollars for a hot dog a burger and fries. Never again. The hot dog was cold and so were the fries. If you go out of business itll be your own fault. There are places in the area people will find out who care about good food and good service. Stop living on your past and hope a Portillos or a Buena beef doesnt open nearby because youll be out of business lickety split. You dont even deserve one star
I am so disappointed in the manager Dean at this location. I purchased an Italian beef with cheese and sweet peppers to go. I was 3/4 done eating the sandwich I felt a long stand of hair in my mouth and I pull it immediately out and threw the remaining sandwich away. I called thr restaurant and spoke with the manager name Dean. I explained to him what happened. He said that he would refund me for the sandwich. Of course, I was upset and I asked about food handler requirements. He then said his workers doesnt have long hair. He then told me that he’s been in the restaurant business for 24 years and I didn’t have to tell him how to do his job and the hair was probably my hair. I told him that I’m bald because of scalp conditions. He then apologize. After a few choice words from the two of us, he then hung up on me. I felt like that he crossed the line. I’ve had hair problems for years. My profile pic is at least 15 years old. Even the case, wealthier I have hair or not , it wasn’t his place to suggest it was my hair. Not everybody is trying to get a free meal. On the next day, I made it my mission to make a trip back Patio without minus my army hat. I spoke with another manager Thomas. He apologized for Deans behavior. In addition, I said that I would contact corporate as well for his rude comments as well as the problem with the long strand of hair in my food. I would have given them a 0 but there’s no option.
The chef that prepared and cooked my food at this The Patio location deserves a huge raise.I got the Cajun Chicken Jambalaya Skewers. It comes with a bed of Mexican-style rice with Andouille sausage and shrimp mixed in. On top is a skewer with four large pieces of chicken, each with a giant grilled pepper and soaked in a Cajun sauce. The meal is served with four pita chips, one for each of the skewers.I can’t even begin to describe how tender the chicken was and how delectable and savory the sauce was. You will have to try this option on the menu for yourself in order to understand it’s deliciousness. Please try this meal. You will not be disappointed (and I want them to keep it on the menu so I can get it again).Props to the chef and the service. The food was out this time in about 10-15 minutes and I got it served with a side of Mac n Cheese.Wow… blown away. I think I might just explode.
Food was fine, but service was lacking. Be aware that their rewards app that they ask you to download does not give you a free side as advertised. It gives you $3 off then You pay for the rest. Unfortunate that they are dishonest in their promotions, so I cancelled my order and left. They lost an entire order just to save a few cents by charging their customers for a “free side”.
I was glad to see that this is still a nice place to eat out side on the patio. Traveling back to Chicago after being away for a long time. The food was good. I had the salmon dish it was delicious.
Food was great. Had the half rack ribs and brisket. Meat was cooked right and not fatty. The standard sauce is a little sweet. On the table is a spicy sauce, it was pretty good, but not too spicy. Enjoyed the bake potato and coleslaw.Ordering/register service seemed impatient, even after telling her it was my first time. Service at the table, she was sweet but she didnt speak English well and had trouble telling me where to fill my drink cup.Place was nice, clean, well decorated. Seemed beer and wine was available, but no spirits.
Well this was the go to spot that never disappointed until now. The quality of food is very poor. Fish tacos use to be some of the best around but now they are simply AWFUL!!!🤮🤮 The same for the submarine sandwich. Also the portions have decreased tremendously and the prices are extremely high. My family and friends who were also regular customers feel the same. We will not patronize the patio any longer due to the poor quality of food and high prices.😔😔
Decent place, decent food. Not to shabby on the price. The place is always busy so there is a little wait. But thats to be expected. The place has alot of seating if you dine in. Even has a little bar. Soup is good, steak sandwich is good. Some really like the ribs. Lots to choose from on the menu
We were trying to find a place to eat after my brothers funeral. One of my dads favorite restaurants. It was on a Wednesday around 4, food, atmosphere, and price was all good.
I have enjoyed their wings since the 1st time I tried them also they have delicious ribs.
If you need to go for a quick lunch or dinner I really recommend The Patio - Orland Park. Very nice and spacious place with planted trees inside. And very important not pricey at all. This time I ordered regular chicken breast salad and soup of the day. But this restaurant is famous for their ribs. Also very quick service. Clean bathroom. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend this place…4 stars
Very nice place I love the atmosphere. 4 stars because one of the cashiers seemed a little rude. Also they dont have the brisket nachos anymore which was my favorite thing to get there. But no big deal, aside from that i will still go back for sure.
First time eating at The patio. We had dry rub ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, garlic potatoes, cole slaw. The garlic potatoes were amazing. Rich, thick and creamy. I was not too impressed with the ribs. The brisket is tender and sliced perfect. Our only complaint was it seemed to not have any salt on any of the meat. If you like well seasoned meat that you dont have to reseason your self. This isnt the place for you. The customer service was wonderful though
Ordered 1/2 all dark meat BBQ chicken special for $9.99.Was charged for regular 1/2 BBQ chicken dinner. Didnt realize this until seated. Place was way to busy to complain.Dinner was good anyway.
My first time here and my there was ALOT to choose from! My thanks for the staff being patient! I opted for the 1/2 slab of ribs and 1/2 BBQ chicken, accompanied with choice of potato, slaw and bread... and loaded Mac n Cheese. Fills you up. Check it out!
The greatest rib joint on the south side period.. Prices could be a little cheaper, but I will blame that on the Trump and his tariffs.. People where very nice, its a very self explanatory situation when you walk in, flowed very well. I had a great dining experience.
