I was here back in 2011 before it close for a while, now that it renovated the bar it has a touch of class. It provides a chill environment. It not like it use to be. However, change is good.

Cool place to chill and have a conversation. The happy hour ends at 630pm

I went to see a local band; they dont serve any food, only drinks (I dont drink, so I cant rate the drinks). Eat before you go, there are lots of places to eat in the area.

What an awesome place... Very classy, yet casual.. almost like entering another dimension.. this place provides the privacy and ambiance to allow a person the personal freedom to enjoy themselves.

A warm friendly bar which you can find yourself at on a regular basis if youre not careful. This was a great addition to downtown Merced

Bartenders are great. Stopped by 3 times during work training travels. Not an alcoholic, but the great beer, customer service, and mood of the place all got me hooked.

Great place for a drink with friends! If you go early enough its very casual, but can pick up later in the night. Bartenders make great drinks and they sometimes have a DJ or live band. There is a room in the back if you want to move away from the crowd. Nothing, but good experiences here.

Good place to have a drunk, with friends, wife, girlfriend. When I go the bartenders treet me well.

This is a very welcome find in the heart of downtown Merced on Main Street. The staff is friendly and the environment is relaxed. If youre looking for a bar that you might find in San Francisco, this is the place and a good one at that.

Have your i.d 30 and over or not lol. Great place to hangout. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice people as well.

Very sweet drinks and crazy loud music. I sit by the door to attempt to be able to hear my friends but we always have to yell our conversation at eachother. 4 stars because even with all of this, they have a unique and friendly staff with great service :)

Great atmosphere. The recent remodel had turned this place into a true downtown gem. Great staff, music and experience.

Nice selection of beer on tap, even some non alcoholic options. Also the cocktail menu was creative and delicious. I tried the flea market fresca and cake by the ocean. Tanisha, the bartender was super chill!

A sister bar to the 17th street pub keeps the chill vibe going. Great place for meeting up with friends and such. Can’t wait for there to be food there one day lol

The redone inside is nice but they do not keep all the variety of alcohol like they used to.

We have always enjoyed the Partisan. Loved it back in the old days when the bar was low and it was always dark and cool. Since then, its been remodeled, and its absolutely beautiful. The ceiling is gorgeous and detailed...the bar is lovely. The bartenders are always friendly and they make some really tasty and creative drinks. Whenever we get the chance we stop in for a sip, and we always have a nice time. I love that they have open mics, live music, and fun events. Way to go, Partisan!! So glad you are back, we missed you!!

Bartenders are very nice and the remodeled bar looks amazing. I really like the crowd, very different from most Merced bars. Less country and more modern here. It is my top choice for cool bars in this town (even though there are not many)

The lemon drop was awesome however ladies be careful....men like to use the womens bathroom!

I used to come here every weekend before their remodel, so I was anxious to see the improvements they made in the 4 years they were closed. When we first arrived, we were pretty impressed with the way everything looked, except for how big and empty the lounge area seemed to feel. Once we got the menu (with no prices on themand were told "about" how much each drink would cost, we ordered and kept a tab open.We were pretty relaxed and having a nice conversation with some "Dumb and Dumber" playing on the tv above, when out of nowhere they announced WAY TOO LOUDLY that they were starting an open mic period of the evening. I have no problem with local talent showing off a bit in a nice bar, but this was very awkward. The sound people couldnt balance the mics and amps, the speaking/singing mic was WAY too loud for the 15 total people in the building, and it seemed to just change and ruin the mood of the entire place while it was occurring. We promptly downed our beers, paid, and left, when before the open-mic portion occurred we had planned to stay and have at least one more.TL;DR The bar looks fancy albeit a bit empty and dont go during open mic night unless you want your eardrums accosted with mildly amusing entertainment.

Make sure you ask what your getting charged for 1st time the girl took $50 extra i found this out because when i ordered the same drinks the 2nd and 3rd time it was $50 less then what was charged my first time going but its ok she was obvious in need poor thing lol other then that the other two times the girls were amazing beautiful place great place to spend your night out im giving it 5 stars because 1 poor worker shouldnt effect others amazing customer service

This was the first time Ive been in since they finished their remodel, it looks great inside. There was a nice selection of drinks, the bar tender was personable, and the other patrons were entertaining and a pleasure to talk with.

Me and the fiancé were hyped this was reopening finally but the ownership clearly didnt understand why this place was cool in the first place. Lost the low-key Twin Peaksish vibe it used to have and replaced it with a clone of Turlocks piano bar.

A few years ago we ate there and the food was good as was the atmosphere. The wait person was very friendly too.

I dont mind this bar but the one thing i dont like is the disgusting, filthy womens bathroom. I enjoy events held there, which are fun n creative, besides when they lie about how many tickets they r selling at the door. But love the atmosphere!

One of the best bars in Merced. Trivia Night is really fun on Tuesday. Its really chill and laid back unlike some other bars in the area.
