The Panorama Bar in Durban

Worst service I have received in a premium hotel bar. The bar attendants and waitresses will ignore you and chatting and rude. I dont speak Zulu and they felt offended. Horrible service and I was a guest at the hotel.

Lovely hotel bar! The drinks are nice and strong and as a hotel guest, it’s lovely to go for a swim and be able to do sundowners at the pool.

The place was packed , couldnt get a table to sit outside so we sat inside, menu and prices was good

Absolutely stunning views of the Durban beachfront from here. Beautiful set-up around the pool area. Fantastic cocktails. Friendly & efficient waitress. The only downfall was the food. 3 of the 4 people in our group ordered burgers with chips. The burger buns & chips were stale. Chips tasted like it was made a few hours earlier, reheated & served to us. Very disappointing for a 4-5 star hotel.

Poor service, poor quality of food and standards. Pizza was probably one of the worst. Waiters are under-trained and rude. Long wait when requesting anything. Not a good experience. Wouldnt recommend

Lovely ambiance

Beautiful setting. Gorgeous views. Drinks 🍸 were great. Down fall was the food. Mutton bones bunny was served with bread that tasted like it was warmed in the microwave for too long. Please improve your food standards. Have more options in the menu. On a weekend evening please provide some music for some entertainment please.

The view is immaculate. The cheese board and cocktails are definitely a must. Service was average.

The settings and design is pretty great and easy to the eye, clean, had only drinks & the service was very good. Was pretty packed im assuming it was a busy weekend or the place popular with the trendy crowd. Indoor and out sitting area. Pretty decent place.

Great outdoor area with a swimming pool overlooking Durban beachfront. I didnt eat but the bunny chow with chips looked delicious! Good vibe, friendly service.

Just wow. 45mins for drinks to be delivered. There was apparently and ice issue. The mojkto was basically a mouth full of lime seeds and the strawberry daiquiri had an identity crisis... no strawberries went into the making of this. Classic hotel bar. Nice view, but wouldn’t bother.

Excellent service from the waitors who quickly made up a table for us and made sure all our needs were met. Food was amazing. Will definitely recommend this spot

Good pina colada but my lunch took forever to come and the meat was overcooked with the wrong sides. (I asked for salads and the brought chips)

The Panorama Bar has a very calm and cool atmosphere, the service is amazing, the food is top notch, Ive got no complaints whatsoever, the smoking area also does wonders for ones needs

I loved the breathtaking views of the Golden Mile from this place. This is really a nice, peaceful and cosy place with inside and outside seating. Whether youre seating inside or outside the view is not distracted. The waitress gave us 100% customer service and I was really impressed. Everything we ordered arrived on the table without any delays. The coffee was good and the food was delicious my highlight being the seafood pizza, I really enjoyed it.

Didnt have tonic water in stock. Gor a bar close to the beach, that is simply shocking

You get the best views of Durbans beach front. The people at the bar know how to mix a good cocktail. They are just perfect.Do skip the nibbling baskets. Didnt enjoy the breaded wings.For cocktails- best spot
