The show today was extremely good but we left our car at the car wash , and came back after the show and just to see our cars scratched and that to me was extremely bad and this will make me to not suggest this place to anyone , kind regards but you are supposed to have my car been looked after and not abused ...

Very friendly and bubbly staff and the menue options is fantastic......Food is delicious and tasty

Great place to chill. Friendly staff. The food was great. Also great music. There is also lots of space outside for those with children.

The Palms is a great family place. Nice, green, open grass for the kids to play as well as a little pool for them to wade/swim in for the day. It costs R30 for the kids to have access to the pool all day. The park is well kept and there is no danger of the kids getting hurt. The indoor play area looks like huge fun too. The adults have the undercover bar/restaurant area with live entertainment as well as the grassy area where you can order yourself and have some of the best food and drink. All in all... The Palms is a "vibe". A good place to chill and be assured that the kids will be safe while you have a good time as well. I have been back numerous times with different people and I will surely be back for more.

Such an amazing place food excellent

Beautiful place when taking the family out for lunch or supper. There is ample playground with different things to do to keep the young children entertained. Ill surely go back there again. Friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating.

Me and my family visited the palms on Saterday had a lekker time I liked everything about the place food was good and drinks our waiter never kept as hanging lovely girl but the two old ducks that was there couldnt keep thy hand of her the music dont accommodate everybody the place is racist theres money to be made and money to be spend its 2022 get with time money dont have colour

The waiter was friendly.The food was good.Some of the staff and people were racist.There was a live band,At 8 they were done.The kind of music they play does not accommodate everyone at palms.Most people asked to change the music to amapiano and the manager said:"they not going to play certain musics or black kind.Only white music is played"..Im never going again and i advise everyone not to go there.

Great Afrikaans vibe with live music and affordably good food. They have a very easy going vibe but do wish they could seat you probably at the door. Nevertheless, would definitely recommend.

Worst service ever. Restaurant almost empty, waited over 40mins and and didn’t get our coffee, while the other table had their 2nd coffee. Waitress very unfriendly just said everyone gets a turn at the coffee machine so we have to wait. Manager not very helpful.

I was there in 2018 before the renovation, been there now since the renovation, and its totally awesome I loved it and so did all my kids

Walk in client. Noticed load of bookings so struggled understanding where to sit, but found a spot in the server area. Staff not attentive and never received a menu after waiting a while. Not going back.

All though we were not there in peak time, the waitress was no where to be seen and really not friendly or helpful at all. The online menu differs from the paper menu.

Find place quite lovely ...first time sat outside was a bit cold even with mounted heaters ..second time sat inside the establishment. Enjoyed the food had the ribs and chicken wings first time ..second time had ribs and calamari. On both occasions the ribs was melt off the bone and tasty and the wings had a nice sweet basting and juicy not dry or hard ..the calamari on second occasion was cooked perfectly and flavourful...they are really reasonably price and overall nice place to take your whole family...they have.limitation in they dont do dessert..so that a bummer..but overall nice experience ... definitely go again.

Great place and atmosphere. The food is delicious and great service. Later in the afternoon it got cold and the zipper on the barrier was broken, making us freeze even though there were heaters all around. But I am definitely coming back.

Our first time here.Came withy family. Food was very nice.Clarissa was our waitress and also extremely nice who has great plans for her future with Respect and discipline in her household.Yes we even discussed family lol,thats how comfortable she made us feel and even hugged my wife when we left.The place was neat and tidy and will make a turn again.

We ordered three platters and paid a deposit. They charged us for 4 platters and did not subtract the deposit. Have been trying for a week to get the refund but they just do not act on our emails and phone calls. This was the third time this has happened but the first two times we picked it up prior to payment. Please check your invoices before paying. It seems they do this often. Never going back. They are unethical.

Just my opinion.....but not very clean or inviting.....not my kind of restaurant.....food over priced and cheese sauce tasted like it was out of a packet or powder mixed with water.....sorry guys....

Its an absolute outstanding place, everything under one roof. The venue is perfect for any event. Wonderful crowd, the bands where playing fantastic music. Management where great However, I need to highlight, in certain areas they need to beef up their service response time, in particular the greater area. Other then that its an perfect venue, I will definitely visit them again. Keep it up guys 👏

We had my aunts 60th birthday lunch at The Palms on 13 March 2022 and very disappointing service from the start. When the booking was made 2 months prior we were sent a menu and we decided on a set carvery meal for 38 adults and kids menu would be ordered on the day for 9 kids. Firstly the seating arrangements which is picnic style benches were very uncomfortable and when I asked for a chair for myself who is 5 weeks post abdominal operation, and still have discomfort, I was told they do not have chairs, but they have an area inside filled with tables and chairs. The carvery we decided on had a option for lamb curry or lamb stew but we were told on the day that they only had lamb stew available, and we paid for our meals in advance, when booking was made. The service was so slow and then to top it off... we were sent a total for the carvery and nowhere in the correspondence or on the invoice, did it state that we need to pay a service fee of 10% to the waitresses on the carvery amount because it was a buffet style set up and we had to go and collect our food, the waitresses did not serve the food and also the 10% for booked carvery was not included on the bill but they insisted it had to be paid before we leave. Firstly, poor service and then to demand money that was not even deserved! If I could give a score of ZERO stars then I would!

What an epic Venue. Great service with a personal touch. Christo looked after us and gave us an absolutely perfect experience. Give that man a Bells! I will definatley be back but next time hopefully to DJ a set. Maybe some Amapiano?

It was terrible service was bad they call it a self service or soft service like they say you need to go the bar and order your meal and they give it in a take-away paper bowl with plastic cutlery it was my first time and last... I might as well have gone to McDonalds

Lovely atmosphere....live entertainment, play areas for the kids, open green grass and tables spread out nicely. Limited menu with pizza and burgers. Staff was very friendly. A nice place to just chill on a Sunday as we did. Will definitely go back.

Very neat,relaxing,friendly staff .kid friendly play area with park. Shading is excellent. Braai areas as well. Order your meats and salafs have it prepared and served.fantastic place for any occassion

Beautiful place, could really be fun for kids, thats where it ended for me. it first started with asking someone to clean our table, did not happen, we had to clean our own table, service - lovely girl but no, only came to check on us when she passed our table, food - oh man I expected too much, pizza was hard and cold, I ordered a medium cooked steak, I almost choked on it, thats how over done it was dry dry dry and baptized in sauce, the wings where just cooked in water and sauce all over it, I love mushrooms, but the ones I had yesterday uuummm no ways. The manager came around to ask how I meal was, I told him, all he could say was, thank you for letting me know.Major thing, I saw diversity of people, however The palms only cater music for one race, dont get me wrong the lady that sang was good but we all need to enjoy, cater for everyone please, what made me laugh is the fact that you cant dance.I will be visiting again and will be looking out for the experience Ive told i will get.

Great atmosphere, tasty food, and friendly staff. Wide variety of food that is very affordable. Big fan of the Mushroom Melt Burgers, Regina Pizza, Crumbed Mushrooms, Pita Bread, and of course, COCKTAILS! 🍹 (When allowed). Lots of fun activities for kids, big screen for sports games, braai facilities and live music on the weekends. COVID compliance gets a big thumbs up too.

The service was good. The food was not what I expected. It was a huge plate. My order was chicken and ribs. The chicken was dry, but the ribs k order again and again. My friends had lasagne and pizza, whereby they did not agree with the lasagne, as it had a weird taste.As advised, the prices are not reflected as true in the menu, so please ask the price before ordering.The music does not cater for everyone, unfortunately.The setup is very cozy and comfortable and creates a lovely warm ambience between each other. Lighting at night aint for influencers.

If you like the hub bub of a pub/grill, then this place is for you. Play area for kids, designated smoking area eventhough its open, option for self-service or sit down restaurant. I have a fussy eater and he polished his food. I had the most delicious steak, very tender. Friendly staff. Will definitely be returning

Its a great place. They added on some fairly more space and an decent area for kids to host their birthdays. Great way to get a piece of that blooming market. Food is good, staff sometimes a little overwhelmed when it gets busy. The only down side is had - the play area for the kids are not maintained. Its VERY dirty, to the point where I could not let my kids play before cleaning it myself. There is a lady, at the entrance changing kids R30 to play. The least she could have done while waiting during the morning was clean the play area and equipments.Yet, she just sat there since her arrival, during breakfast while no kids have yet arrived. I will be back, as I am sure this issue will be addressed. If not, they will stand to lose their spot for kids parties - for good.

Food is fantastic! Great venue to go if youre a big group of people. Entertainment isnt 100% during the week, and neither is the staffing, but after a few drinks youll still have a great time with the right company!

Great place for hosting events and teambuilds and the like, especially as you can braai and potjie there too. Huge venue with great playground for kids on the lawn too. Big screens for sports and loads of live bands and things too.
