Tempat nongkrong yg bersuasana santai dan nyaman untuk menikmati live musik night dan menu western.
Kenzie and Lorraine helped plan and host my wedding at the Vintners Pavilion. I could not have asked for better people to work with on such a special day. They did a wonderful job hosting, and their venue space was an absolute dream. I could not recommend The Orchard more, whether that’s for lunch, drinks, or a special occasion.
Way to expensive for what you get. Steer clear of the wagyu burger or brunch, the portions and flavors aren’t inline with the price you pay. Stick to entrees, cocktails, and dessert, although the steak is again…way over priced and not amazing. Wait times to sit outside are crazy in the summer and the dinning room is a bit underwhelming. With that said, I do go on occasion, so it must be decent.
We enjoyed a nice meal. The food was pricey but good and the waitress was attentive and pleasant. What left a bad taste in our mouth was the “non-gratuity service charge “ added to our bill without any notification. The waitress awkwardly tried to explain the approximately 2.5% charge by stating management was claiming it was due to supply chain issues and an inability to adjust menu prices. She could not provide any explanation for why this extra fee wasn’t disclosed anywhere before appearing on the bill.Bottom line is we enjoyed a pricey but good meal, with mediocre cocktails and reasonable service, only to be slapped in the face with an unscrupulous business practice put in place by crass management.PS - try searching “non-gratuity service charge “ you will find no results in google. Meaning this is just a made up charge meant to gouge unsuspecting customers. Shameful!
The atmosphere is wonderful. You just know you are going to have a great meal when you walk in. The chef does a good job blending flavors. The staff is knowledgeable about the food. Curtis recently recommended the pork chops and he wasnt wrong. In the warm months be sure to enjoy the spectacular patio.
I love the place, but the server we got tonight was horrible. We sat there for way too long. I literally got up after 30 minutes of being done with our food to find someone to get out of that place. I usually love it like I said but this time it was torture... Noone likes her you can tell....
Very good food, but very expensive, would go again but for only special occasions
A casual fine dining experience located in Catawba Island with great food and a fantastic atmosphere.Highly recommend getting a reservation especially in the summer and/or on the weekends.
Service was horrible at the patio bar. Waited 10 minutes before even getting acknowledged. Then ordered a rum and coke and bar maid brought me a drink menu and disappeared. Finally the other bartender waited on me. Immediately cashed out a vodka soda and rum n coke for $18. Went to Gideon Owen instead. Much better.
All around a very nice establishment. Had clients out for dinner. Very nice menu. Staff trying to cover multiple areas so be patient. Walk the grounds if possible.
Food was amazing. Steaks were perfect. Nice unique place with the farm stand and orchards.
Cool place! Yummy drinks too! 🍸 Only downside was my chicken was burnt and service at bar was slow. Still well worth the trip!
Over priced food. Limited menu. Mashed potatoes were dry and lumpy. They were obviously warmed over not fresh.
Top shelf food n drink. Excellent wait staff very knowledgeable of their menu n friendly 👌 looking forward to our next visit.
Great place! Every time I’ve been here, they have been super busy. However the staff has always been attentive. The service is top notch. The food, of course, is amazing too. The menu stays updated so it always seems like there is something new to try.
Parking is limited. Nice atmosphere. They got us in but reservations are almost a must! The food is ok, but its expensive.
Interesting cocktail menu! Great flavor combinations! Setting was nice even during construction. Good live music added to the experience. Service was excellent and food quality high. Lots of flavor - good chefs! A must visit if you are in Catawaba!
Went a long time ago and it was awesome but now it is overpriced and overrated. Food isn’t bad. Manhattan was very skimpy. Mostly one giant ice cube and a shot of rye.
Had a 7pm reservation on a Wednesday night to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We were told by the hostess there would be a wait because they were short staffed. Finally seated at 7:30. Our waiter was great but also apologetic about the wait on drinks and food coming out of kitchen. Our orchard salads came out without any dressing on them. Again a wait. My biggest complaint is regarding the 2.5% Service Fee added to everyone’s bill to. It was explained that this fee allows us to pay a fair-living wage to our employees during inflationary times. When I asked the server if any staff members received a portion of the fee, he replied “ it goes to the owners and it was costing the waitstaff tips because some mistook it for an included gratuity”. Most likely it is used to pay the cost of the major renovation going on at Orchard & The Farm Stand. By the time our group left, it was dark and the walk from the dining tents out back to the restaurant parking lot was on a rough, gravel pathway that was dangerously unlit. One of our guests has a mobility issue and they struggled with footing. A restaurant with $50 seafood entrees, $75 steaks and 400% markups on their wine list should be able to afford to light their exit pathways and pay staff a living wage. It appears the customer isn’t the top priority at uber- popular Catawba dining establishment.
Such a wonderful place..very accommodating for special diet needs...patient Wait staff...beautiful grounds and more.to.come.as they are remodeling and.have added just gorgeous brand eating areas...even a game to play in the yard!..
Great food and great service, but the restaurant is rather noisey especially near the bar.
A more upscale menu with a nice outdoor atmosphere if you sit outside. Inside was quiet when we walked through, but we were there early on a weeknight (5:30 pm). So we sat outside right next to the garden and they had live music and we were under a tent. I had seabass (pictured). Also pictured fillet oscar. Also pictured-truffle fries. Everything tasted great and was perfectly prepared. The servers were attentive.
I’ve been here multiple times and the food and dining service never ceases to amaze. Although after finishing my family’s dinning experience we moved out to “the coop”, the two nice bartenders asked us what we wanted, it became pretty clear that one of the bartenders had made a pretty simple mistake which was accidentally ringing drinks on someone else’s tab. Management was soon called over to try to resolve the issue as the card was already ran. Rather than taking the bartender into a more private quarters, he grilled the bartender in front of a full bar. It’s completely unprofessional regardless of how bad the mess up was.
Relaxing atmosphere, great cocktails, had the pink lemonade, delicious food. Menu is pricey but the quality of the food is excellent. Have a 26 oz steak for you beef lovers.
Food was cooked well. Make sure to ask if outdoor dining is an option if you book reservations. I thought we were going to dine outside and reservation was actually inside. Beautiful outdoor dining!
I enjoyed the atmosphere the waitress was very pleasant I look forward to the bone-in cowboy ribeye they offer but I wasnt quite ready for a meal that heavy
We drove here from Toledo, Ohio. The service was outstanding but food.....that was to die for. A quaint restaurant with a chef who will be renowned. Great fun. The waitress we had was a shear delight. She was knowledgeable and quite talented.
Drove out here with my family for a Daytrip fromCleveland and made a stop at the animal safari. Lunch here was so nice-the staff was amazing and kind to my children, the food and drinks were so yummy and healthy, the gift shop and grounds were so beautiful. I can see why locals and people staying nearby would spend a lot of time here! Would love to come back!
It’s ok…took my husband there for Father’s Day dinner. I felt it’s overhyped n overpriced in my opinion…here’s why. It’s a hit or missed just like any other restaurants,. Like the calamari appetizer was excellent but the the lobster bisque was a flop…I have had many lobster bisques in my days n this taste like a cheese fondue with exactly three small chunks of lobster. I also ordered a lobster n shrimp role and that’s good but nothing special about it because it’s like a lobster/shrimp salad on a bun. Hubby got the wagu burger medium but came out well done n nothing special or no wow factor n taste like a regular burger but fries were good. The kicker is for a upscale restaurant the waitress doesn’t look clean, our waitress looks like she has been working with flour all day, she is nice for sure but my first impression was the joint lacks hygiene n dress code is more shabby than chic. 😅In response to the request to email …we drove an hour to the dinner n and was excited to enjoy it because of great photos but once is enough, we are not planning on making a trip back. Bar food is not what we are after.
I hate to leave a bad review because I normally love this place but currently with the renovations going on it isnt the same place. We came in for brunch expecting to sit on the absolutely amazing patio only to find the patio had been bulldozed. So instead we were sat on the side of the building at a table without an umbrella roasting in the sun. There were 4 tables and only a single umbrella. The old patio was incredible and I wont be back until the renovation is complete...even then it seems like some of the charm will be lost. They do have the Farm Stand next door and it looked like a significantly better experience.
The waygu beef hamburger was dry and flavorless. My husband ordered walleye and got perch and was not offered any kind of discount for the mistake. The waitress was slow and not particularly pleasant. Expect more with those prices.
Great place. Service was great & timely, drinks (bloody Marygood & the food was fantastic! Will return.
Excellent staff, great atmosphere, and amazing food to tie it all in. My steak was cooked to perfection and even though our waiter (younger guy I think his name was Christianhad so many tables we never had to ask for another glass. The orchard blew away my expectations!
Food was well done. Front of house was terrible. First cocktail was done well, second was completely over poured. I was there with a large party recently, the professionalism that one would expect from a restaurant like this was subpar at best. Either train the servers better or step in when they’re over their head.
Our dinner was delicious! The scallops and risotto was amazing! Dont forget to get the double chocolate cheesecake, you definitely dont want to pass it up. 🍰🍫
This place is really nice. Lots to choose from. From fresh produce to kitchen appliances. If your looking for a special gift or looking to take someone on date. I recommend this place. I got a classic cheese pizza by the way was really good. 😆 And I tried a double shot espresso witch was also really good. Over all I would come check this place out. Its atmosphere is amazing 💯
Outdoor space is great, orchards, gardens of veggies, herbs, firepit. Very nice. Food was good but pricey!
Great service, the waitress we had was very attentive. The food was some of the best weve had around the Lakeside/Catawba Island area. Prices were in line with the quality of food and atmosphere. Music, man.... up here it always seems like theyre trying to blast you out of your table. Not this place, not too loud, you could still easily carry on a conversation.
Best lobster bisque ever even though a bowl is 23 bucks. Huge chunks of lobster. Cant wait to stop again.
Great food. Staff is always super friendly. Definitely visit every time I’m in town.
The ambiance here is the highlight. Great outdoor patio and relaxed lake life feel. Drinks and beer list was high quality. Food was average for the price. Seasoning and portions both lacked a little. Best of offerings we tried were the duck and fish & chips. Food was not bad but expect more for a high dollar restaurant
Had a super time at the Orchard Bar & Table. A beautiful patio, every time you turn a corner there is more to see. Menu did not really have much for vegetarians but I did really enjoy the Tomato and Mozzarella salad. I saw fries as a side for another dish and asked for a side of them to make it more of a meal. We also happened to be there on Martini Monday! Went with a large group from work, service was excellent (thank you Kendell! I hope I spelled your name right), and the food came out fast.Check out the Farm Stand while you are there too for yummy things, gift shopping, and other interesting products. I bought jam but was so tempted by so many other things!
It was ok. My husband ordered the fish and chips and really liked it. I ordered the grouper and it was meh. The rice was lukewarm and tasted like it had been made a long time ago--sticky and dry;, the broccolini wasnt great--charred and tough; and the grouper, while hot, didnt have great flavor. My plate was splattered and fingerprinted. Not worth the $38. Service was mediocre. Inside was really loud and cramped. If you can sit outside, the experience would be much better, I think. In all, the limited number of choices for a nice dinner make this a go-to spot, but it doesnt live up to what it could be.
Small, but relaxed atmosphere. The food isnt cheap, but the quality is there. Excellent staff. The drinks are fun. Highly recommended for food and drink with friends or a hot date.
Fine dinning at its finest, loved the Filet Mignon and Wagyu Burger. The waiter was friendly and had a great knowledge of the menu. The recommendations were on point and the food delicious. I would recommend this place for a romatic date night.
The setting was great, the food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Couldnt have been more pleased. I got the seafood pasta with side of bacon corn risotto and my wife got the salmon, both dishes were phenomenal.
Wonderful atmosphere, excellent food, and awesome servers! Highly recommended!
Wonderful food excellent service, thank you Jason! Entertainment, ambiance was fabulous. Cant say enough good things. We will be back !
The food was excellent. The mac and cheese was beyond delicious as was the risotto. The cocktails were sublime. We look forward to coming back for brunch.
Very elegant outdoor dining experience. All food was excellent. Prices are moderately high (approx. $80 dinner for two). Only issue worth mentioning is that they do not have beer on tap, bottles and cans.
A quaint farm to table restaurant. I was there with a group of 10. The hit of the night were the scallops and the lobster bisque. It was very busy so the service was a little slow. I found that the acoustics amplified the ambient noise and made it hard to talk. The decor was cozy and charming. Avoid the perch. Theres beautiful outdoor seating with live music.
