Lovely food, superb and fast service. Generous portions for price, which havent been increased for a long time. Definitely will come back and recommend to others.

Lovely food, good value for money

I was on holiday with Friends in Castleblayney. We ate and drank in the The Old Coach Inn a few times.One of our group was disabled. Nothing was too much trouble.If you get chance to visit the lovely town of Castleblayney then visit the The old Coach Inn Food, People & Music all top class.You will not be disappointed, 5 star all the way.RegardsPatricia

Beef without taste.Like i eating sole.Chips 1000 °Carbonara taste of milk and just milk.Salt cant save it!Terrible.Never came back!

Lovely spot, we were recommended this place by a man outside a pub in Cootehill, glad we took his advice. Will definitely be back next time were nearby.

Very friendly staff whilst waiting for the coach back to Dublin. Make sure you arrive early before your depart outside and meet the friendly staff and the friendly locals. The toilets also was very squeaky clean, definitely worth a visit.

15 lovely lassies went out Saturday night to the Old Coach Inn. fabulous night ..Staff so helpful & friendly..The food was amazing ..great choice an not expensive at all ..Well worth a visit ...and of course music and dancing to finish ..Could not ask for more

Menu great for me. Loads of choice. Food very good and plentiful.Just one thing. The tables are made from marble, with no table cloth or placemats, meaning my plate went cold very quickly. (I like a warm plate)

Wonderful place, warm friendly, fantastic atmosphere! Bar and Restaurant. Food is amazing, high standard, delicious ,great variety, quick service nothing is too much trouble. Plenty tv screens and live music. The owner is a lovely ,friendly and dedicated man greets everyone ,cant do enough for you!! He remembers every face !! Staff are lovely very helpful and friendly! Bottle of sanitizer on every table! Food served daily etc all day Sunday. Lots of space, busy and popular but upstairs is quieter ! Happy, friendly environment . Have visited and eaten here quite a few times now last year and this year and really enjoyed it every time !! Well worth visiting and experiencing their charm and great food !! Definitely recommend!

Waiting staff were friendly. It took a long time to get tuna melt sandwiches after ordering and we asked for some sugar which we never got. The food was tasty. The music was very loud on the speakers, more like a rowdy night in a bar than a place for an afternoon bite. Ladies toilets were out of order with women instructed to go into the mens! First place Ive been in without being asked for a covid vaccination cert. Better test myself later as most people had no masks on.

Nice food at a good price friendly staff and a good atmosphere

Unfortunately my visit here was not up to standard at all. I had booked a table earlier in the day for the family as I had been visiting Castleblayney for a few days. We were seated on time but once our order was taken I twice had to go to the bar to ask for our drinks to be served. We only wanted a jug of water for 6 people and I was the only one who ordered a pint. Other patrons who sat opposite, were seated after us and received their drinks immediately. After more than an hour our food arrived with two orders incorrect and needed to be sent back. The side of veg received contained a raw chip and no gravy was sent to the table. When we finished and I did make constructive criticism about our experience a member of staff did apologise. I paid the bill and hoped that staff were notified. Understandable that the place was busy but I felt robbed to be honest.

Great service and Better food! If you can with stand the constant happy birthday music going off your in for a treat! One of the waitresses we met a older lady really made our night I cant remember her name for the life of me but super highly recommend!

Really courteous staff, helpful and attentive.Food was lovely, prices were reasonable.I feel the whole place would benefit from the input of an interior designer as seating needs redoing, windows were covered by closed blinds so natural light was much reduced. Counters and indeed the ladies are all very dark wood again reducing available light. Has plenty of parking.

The old coach inn I would highly recommend it to everyone. Raymond watters is a fantastic host. He knows everyone and how to treat them right. For birthdays and any celebration he makes a fuss of everyone. We had our Christmas party and he had the table decorated so well for us. One of the girls had a birthday on. They came out with a candle in her desert and made a fuss of her. Every time I go there. I am made feel like I am welcome and made feel at home.
