The Melting Pot in Columbia

First time my mom ever experienced fondue and she absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to our amazing server Kennard for making it such a wonderful birthday celebration.

A very fun and different date night spot. Food was good and service was even better. The bartender brought our drinks right to our table and asked for our feedback on them. The manager also gave us a warm welcome and made sure everything was going well. The best part of the night was our server (Kenzie??.. I think that was her nameshe was a bundle of joy and relatable and very bubbly, made our first experience here so much more enjoyable, give this girl a raise!!

First time dining at the Melting Pot in Columbia and I must say thebfood was great but our waitress was even more amazing. Kayla was just so amazing and fun. She helped our Anniversary diner be just as amazing as her service. Thank you so very much for make out night awesome!

Our waitress Hannah was truly amazing. The food was delicious and she was more than willing to explain how how it worked and make recommendations. Thank you Hannah for the exceptional customer service.

Our friends took us here for our anniversary. Reservations were made. Our 1st table (a boothwas private but tight & I joked I felt like I needed a booster seat. We requested a different table & were moved to a more roomy table. A sweet card awaited our table personally signed by all workers there. Brendan was our server & did a great job. The atmosphere was calm & relaxing & staff were all friendly & helpful. Our food was delicious...a variety of fresh meat & veggies for both of us. Our table had some cliches halfway thru our meal & we were respectfully moved to another table. B/c of the inconvenience we were treated accordingly by the sweet manager. A must place to go for a special occasion for you & significant other. A very unique experience for us & will be visiting again.

First timer and it was amaaazing! Arlayna was our server/entertainer/new best friend and couldn’t have been anymore fabulous!It was fun, easy to follow all the make it yourself how to’s, and we were cared for the entire time. Food was delicious and Arlayna was prompt and super sweet!Coming back for sure! 💕

14th Wedding AnniversaryToday is my hubby and I 14th wedding anniversary. We along with our two sons decided to celebrate at the Melting Pot. Kristina our server was AMAZING! She was personable, kind, and very attentive. Thank you Kristina for making our night memorable and fun!

My first time here and it was an amazing experience. The food was absolutely AMAZING and the service was beyond great. Tim is absolutely the best server. General manager mikayla is beyond great. I had an amazing time. Great customer service and personality. I definitely will be coming back. By far my favorite restaurant. I’m craving the food. Lol.

I cannot say enough good things about our server, Alex. She was so patient and well spoken. We did come in late and she was so sweet about it. She alone made me want to come back! The food was also delicious and I loved the privacy of all the tables.

Came here for our wedding anniversary. Love the chilled atmosphere and privacy. We had a nice quaint booth in the back. Our server Caitlyn was awesome and the other friendly staff! Food and drink were great. You definitely get your moneys worth. Cant wait to visit again!

This was our first time going to a Melting Pot, and we were blown away by the experience. The food was superb, our server was so sweet, and the ambiance was incredible. While we were there, we got some lab results back revealing the gender of our baby. We asked our server to read the results and surprise us somehow. He went above and beyond, giving us a cute little gender reveal on the spot! As I am pregnant, we asked that nothing have alcohol in it, and our server was extremely accommodating with that request as well! We will definitely be returning!

This resturent food quality so much good, Spacilly this resturent Classic Swiss Cheese Fondue dish too much good. I highly recommend this food. Fondue is a Swiss melted cheese dish served in a communal pot over a portable stove heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping bread into the cheese using long-stemmed forks.

My boyfriend and I LOVE the melting pot of columbia!! Kayla has always given us amazing service (and the best cheese)!!! She has never failed to give us her all and make our experience memorable. We love her!

This was my partner and I first time dining at this location. Kayla was our waitress and she did very well explaining how everything worked for us; oh and she has an amazing personality! The food was seasoned well (you can always ask for some additional season if neededand it was actually a bit filling. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was our space did get a bit smoky and a bit warm mainly due to another patron lack of culinary skills LOL. But hey, it comes with the experience and honestly, the overall experience was great and weve decided to add this place in rotation for date nights.

Went out with a group of friends and had the best dining and service experience. Jason was the absolute best!! Will definitely request him next visit.

This was our first experience here. Ive heard rave reviews about it and was excited to try it. It was good, nothing earthshattering but it was good. For the price I wasnt overly blown away. The experience was neat but not something worth $100+ for 2 people. Our server was very nice but he put a massive array of veggies and meats on the skillet which made it very difficult to cook and keep up with all of the temperatures. Just one or two meats at once would have been more ideal. It seemed thats what most of the servers were actually doing. The food was food, not phenomenal in our opinion but it was good.

Melting Pot is my favorite place to eat. First time at this location. The food was fresh and seasoned well. The GM was very courteous when we arrived as well as during our dining experience. I will have to visit again .

This was the first time I’d ever been to a restaurant like this and my family and I LOVED it. The chocolate was the best part!! It’s a ton of food and the atmosphere is awesome. I took my boyfriend here for Fathers Day 6.19.22. I had requested one of the upgraded packages. It included rose petals, a candle and a single rose. I also added chocolate covered strawberries. It was my 2nd visit and his first. Upon being seated he was impressed and loved the setup. He thought it was wonderful. We had the four course Bigger Night Out and I added on lobster tail. We decided to do the grill option, which was great. My boyfriend did all of the cooking since he does all of our grilling at home. Our server was Kennard and he was absolutely a joy! He was knowledgeable about everything we asked, patient, pleasant and fun to interact with. The time between courses was good and the manager came over to speak and make sure we were having an enjoyable time. I appreciated that. It is rather pricey for 2; the bill was roughly under $200 with food, upgrades, add ons, beer, tax and tip. They also did a military discount which my boyfriend appreciated. The look of happiness on my mans face, the ambiance of the restaurant, the wonderful experience we had and our quality time spent together outweighed the price. We will definitely return. My daughter wants to go for her 12th birthday. That will be a party of 5. Until then.....

Service is awesome here. Manager comes to table to thank you for your business. Food of course is Devine. If youre looking for a romantic night out this is the place to go. Leave the kids at a baby sitter and spend it with your person.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Everything is amazing from reservations, to service, to management and the food is outstanding. Every visit we are made to feel like family. Definitely our families favorite.

Truly an experience. While I know most people go to restaurants to avoid having to cook, this restaurant is one of the few where YOU do have to cook, but it is 100% worth it. Many times we go out to eat, and maybe we stay for an hour. We eat. We leave. But not with this restaurant. Our waiter brought out our Loaded Baked Potato Cheddar Fondue. Delicious. 100% recommend. My husband and I chose the Bigger Night entrée. Delicious. 100% recommend as well. My 8yr old chose his own shrimp and chicken, and he loved it. Then the chocolate turtle Fondue. Every thing was fantastic. However, its a place where you cook your own food, so the entrée comes out raw. You have different cooking options, we chose to grill with cast iron. They have date night options as well as group options. It is pricey, but no where near as bad as youd think. Either way, I recommend the place, due to classy decor, amazing staff, delicious Fondue. - Quick note: not really a place for infants that require a changing table. The bathrooms do not accommodate one. However, there is a bench in the ladies bathroom can work for one, but thats a great place to privately breastfeed if need be.

The melting pot is definitely an experience restaurant an my experience at this location was great! The service as always was phenomenal and the food was delicious. The waitress was politely and chatted with us. The manager even walked around and checked on guests regularly. Also the mood is so nice. Low lights and cozy perfect for date night.

The 5 star rating is specifically for our server Kristina. We made reservation and submitted a special request for our final count of people to still keep 3 tables for our party. However, when we arrived, we were told only 2 tables were for us since our number of guests had decreased. The staff/management was very communitive during the beginning of the reservation process, but once the final form was submitted, I did not receive a call letting me know that my special request was unable to be approved. So I thought everything was good to go. Instead, I had to find out when my party was being seated. It would have been nice to know ahead of time just incase we needed to make other arrangements.So again the 5 star rating is for our waitress, Kristina. She had amazing customer service and was very personable. She helped to make our dinner very memorable. Probably one of the best waitress/waiters we have had while dining out. I highly recommend anyone who goes to this location, to ask for her! :)

My first time going and the food and service was perfect! My server was Christina and she was so helpful and so sweet and really helped me ordering. My overall experience was excellent and I’m definitely going back…soon!

I took my family tonight for a belated birthday dinner and had a great time. The food was great as usual, I had the steak entree and Wisconsin cheddar finished off with the cookies and cream chocolate. I’ve been here many times and the service is always great, everyone is friendly but tonight our waitress Jasmine was really exceptional! She was so sweet and friendly, she really made our evening fun. We only go to the Melting Pot about once a year for a special occasion and I’d like to thank Jasmine again for her wonderful service, we loved her! The GM came by our table to check on things and she was super sweet as well.

This was my 1st time going to a restaurant like this. I am in love with the outside seating area. There is lots of parking. The environment was clean and the staff I interacted with was super friendly, professional and warm. The food was amazing. I was ready to go relax and sleep after the experience. I am looking forward to go back.

Awesome experience! I was treated to the ultimate romance package for my birthday. This included a 4 course meal, a dozen roses, candles and 4 cocktails (or a bottle of wine or champagnein a private booth. The gratuity is even included in the price. It was so totally worth it! The food was delicious as always. The server was friendly and extremely attentive. The ambience was unmatched by any other restaurants in Columbia. Everyone that came by our table was conversant, friendly and attentive to our needs. They have also remodeled recently in the restaurant is a little bit more open. I just cant think of anything negative to say.

Went here on a Wednesday night date night with my wife. Very intimate, if not cramped, atmosphere. With the cook top, drinks, plates and sauce tray there wasnt a lot of room to maneuver and how we were sitting we couldnt help but continuously make eye contact with a couple at the table next to us. Hard to be romantic in that kind of setting.But having said that the actual restaurant experience was great. Our server Deron was personable and helpful and his recommendations were a success.It was fun and unique and wed go often if we had one back home.

Always love coming here! Service is good, food is good, and the atmosphere is comfy! Our table always gets the complete fondue experience for 2Highly recommend the Quattro Formaggio for the cheese and the banana foster for the dessert! It is always a hit with usWe chose The Classic and the steak lovers with the court bouillon for the main course.The Greek Goddess, teriyaki, and plum sauce goes great with everything during the main course and the Love Martini was an amazing, refreshing drink, as wellHighly recommend coming by for a date night or just to go out for a great time

Food was outstanding. We snagged a last minute appointment and it was all so worth it. We got the 4 course meal for 2 the bigger portion with lobster and everything was just perfect. The time in between the food portions was just right. Though they really have little selection for kids that are picky eaters. Otherwise the ying yang martini was amazing!! The caramel macchiato martini was delicious as well. Great portions will definitely come again.

I know its chainy but I love the melting pot! The experience is so fun. Favorite is to go during happy hour when they have yummy $5 drink specials, $4 wine, and $6 cheese and chocolate! (Per person). No complaints!

This restaurant is definitely a experience. I will be back. It was my first time. They impressed by having a delicious vegan dish. Veggies and Impossible meat ball with plantbase sausage. No cheese dip for me. But salad was okay but still taste good. I got dark chocolate and oreos with marshmallows dip all the treats in there. All the treats was delicious.

Enjoyed this restaurant, I havent been here in over 20 years. The drinks & food was delicious. Its definitely an experience and a romantic setting. "Thursdate" was a hit!🍸❤

I made a reservation here for my friends birthday and it was a great experience. They put tiny candles in her dessert pound cake and even had a birthday card on the table. This is definitely an "experience" dining place and you should not plan on rushing your meal. I had great service the last time I was here, but I will admit it has been less than stellar occasionally in the past. But such is dining at a restaurant when it is a busy night.

This is a great place if you are looking for wonderful atmosphere, great food and service. This will surely impress a date. It is a bit pricey so save your pennies if you are used to paying $20.00 per person. Great family experience ❤

Enjoyed the Melting Pot today. The staff are always wonderful. The spinach & Artichoke cheese fondue is our favorite. Hubby enjoys the Surf & Turf while I pick 3 of steak & chicken. We both agree on the original chocolate fondue with peanut butter. YUMMY!Dont forget to pre-order your chocolate covered strawberries for later. 😀

I absolutely loved this place. I went there with my daughter for a quick lunch. We were so busy with her move back to school and I had to go back to work. This was perfect right in the middle. We ordered our food our waitress was amazing I absolutely love her personality. This whole experience was like a big hug! Absolutely amazing

This is now my favorite restaurant in Columbia! I’ve never been somewhere with a more pleasant, friendly staff. The drinks are amazing. We had the four course dinner for 2 and loved every minute of it. The duck and the salmon were our favorites, both very tender and full of nice flavors. The whole experience takes about 2 hours, but even if you only have time for a dessert fondue pot I highly recommend it. They go out of their way to make your occasion special. I couldn’t even think of a complaint to make about this place. Make sure you make a reservation and come very hungry.

Great food and professional service. It definitely an experience that everyone has to try at least once. We had the bigger dinner for two with Coq au vin on our anniversary. Wilson was a very attentive server who recommended the Coq au vin and took his time to coach us on our first time cooking fondue. We couldnt have asked for a better first-time fondue experience.

We had the best belated birthday dinner ever! Our server, Jason, was awesome, as were all of the staff, and the nice manager, Larry,who all made us feel special. The food was awesome, even though we had to cook at ourselves, lolz! The best drinks, surf and turf, and my personal favorite, dessert. Can hardly wait to return.

This is the best place to take out a date or to take spouse out for a dinning experience sure to impress, the table/booths are very private and intimate you wont have to worry about the people at other tables staring at you while you dine. Be ready to sit and enjoy dinner for at least 2 or more hours because you will be cooking most of your food at table in different cooking styles from grilling to a boiling hot broth dip , the food is of the highest quality

This was my first ever experience at The Melting Pot and I loved every bit of it! The waiter was extremely helpful. We all enjoyed everything that was available to us. We especially loved the French Onion Bisque (as evidenced by our empty bowlsand the Cast Iron Grill way to cook our meat and veggies. I was afraid I wouldnt have room for dessert, but I made sure to make room. Well worth it! It was my moms birthday and she enjoyed every bit, too. We will definitely be back for our next celebration!

Awesome experience. You get a lot for what you pay. 40 bucks gets you a 4 course meal that leaves you stuffed. A great place to go for any celebration. Our waitress, Jess, was helpful in helping us decide what to get since it was our first time.
