The Mason Arms is such a lovely pub, with the new owner Anna making this pub stand out from the local competitors. I would suggest if you havent been yet pop in and you will be welcomed with open arms. The service is impressive. They really care and are attentive to their customers. Sorry it has taken me so long to write this review. We had such a great time and we were looked after so well on the days leading up to the event and the day after too. We contacted The Mason Arms back in June to hire their function room. We sent an email and Anna responded promptly, politely and booked us in, at a convenient time to view the room. It was a perfect size for what we wanted. She was such a delight to deal with and the process to hire was not complicated at all. On the day, we had a perfect evening and The Manager and all the staff members were quick to help. They even checked what regular drinks we would require, so they were stocked and available at the top bar. We did order food too before our event started and I would highly recommend the salmon fish cakes. They are delicious! Thank you Anna, and your team. You were all amazing and we love The Mason Arms. Also if youre a keen bird spotter, like myeslf, then an hour or so before sunset, the Parakeets in their hundreds literally fly at high speed right above /next to the beer gardens and balcony. You can literally hear the whizzing of their wings. I think it should be one of those people should know about and maybe enjoy too. Dont miss if your there. Friendly atmosphere and service but they dont currently serve food here, their kitchen has been closed for weeks due to no chefs on payroll

Hi Ive just been to this pub with my sister. We had two double vodkas and a mixer. Was charged £48-50. Im afraid we cant afford to go back again.

First time in this pub, the staff were amazing very welcoming. If I lived closer I would definitely use this place again and again. I will return

Expensive drinks but the food is lovely, there is a nice patio and outdoor space.

We came here for a family lunch. It was a lovely experience. The service was excellent and the quality of food was amazing. The portions were really good and it was lovely and hot. I had the vegan option which was really tasty. Would recommend.

When to a wake here for a friend... another story. Very friendly staff and helpful could not do enough to help. Worth dropping in if you are in the area. Garden and coffee.

Went into the pub on in Friday evening for a bite to eat. The food was incredible and I will return for more. The staff welcomed me as a regular and tended to my needs. Thank you

Came for jubilee celebrations last saturday amazing day live music in the garden and bbq finished off with a royal horse race night the managers went out of there way for their customers

Unplanned pop-in for a beer in a rather under-dressed state turned into full meal and drinks during a very lively football match. Five minutes from my flat, it’s everything you want a community pub to be: friendly and efficient service, very tasty food and cold drinks. Plus the best ketchup and mayo in London ☺️

I always try to make sure that I come to the Masons when I am not working Sundays due to their excellent roasts. Its always good for watching a football game whether it be the weekend or midweek. The pub was already great but under new management has got even better and better.

Unfortunately we ended up visiting this hole after a funeral. The atmosphere was terrible and the man serving us had a rotten attitude. The food was terrible, they ran out of tea bags, and the pumpkin salad was served minus the pumpkin. The two men working there shouting at each other made the uncomfortable atmosphere worse. Horrible place.I see that today they are now adding a single letter reply to loads of reviews to make it seem as though they "respond" to all reviews.Avoid this place if you can.Yes, Im certain I have reviewed the right place.

Great place that caters for all. Nice indoor and outdoor space. Food is very fresh and tasty and service is always on point. Great selection of drinks and plenty of entertainment throughout the week. Quiz nights , live music and always some promo on drinks or specials on food. Perfect spot if you ask me. Great place to meet new people as the place has great regulars who always welcome everyone with an open arms. Give it a try and you wont be disappointed.

Been my local for a few years now and was going in the wrong direction new managers that are here for the last 6months are slowly turning it back into the great pub it was

I’ve been here on various days and across different times – Sunday for roasts (epic, by the way); Saturday for the football; mid-week lunches; and Friday night live music – and on every occasion everything has been exceptional: the staff and their service, food, drink, atmosphere - five stars! Amazing Buffalo wings on Wings Wednesday!! Only 50p each. Totally recommend.

The pub itself is beautiful. Ive been there last Friday to a private party in the first floor. The ladies from the bar was so friendly, helpful and polite. The place is very clean, the dois was amazing and the staff incredible. Also was very easy to get there as is a few steps from the trem station.

Food is delicious and buffalo chicken burger is absolutely delicious! Pub is super cosy with decent beer selecton and really friendly staff!

Great! Its Dog friendly so I could bring the dog with me. They gave her a bowl of water as well! The food was lovely. They played all the football matches live on a projector and a TV. I would highly recommend The Masons Arms to anyone.

Always love going to the Masons Arms. Have been coming here regularly with a group for many years now. The bar staff are always friendly and helpful, often going out of their way to look after us. So happy to be back now we’re out of lockdown. Thank you!

We had a wake here for my partners mother last week. We had a prior meeting with the mgr on duty to discuss the event which covered the food for the day and afternoon music. We gave them plenty of notice and time to prepare for the day. Upon arriving after the funeral with around 40 people, this is where things started to go terribly wrong. The smell of sewearge filled the upper room.Not enough staff on duty to accomodate and guests were left waiting up to an an hour for there 1st drinks.I bought along a laptop to connect to there system and found out only 1 of 4 speakers was working which was not mentioned to me when i called Chengie to discuss this.Food was the biggest disappointment of the day. In the previous attended meeting the family discussed the food options and went with the £5 per head option which was supposed to include sandwiches, hot wraps and chips.To our dismay only sandwiches and muffins were served up for 40 hungry people.Never seen a hot wrap and a guy in a chefs out carried out 3 mini wicker baskets of hot chips at around 4pm...what a fiasco. We were clearly given the lower tier of the price per head which we recall was £3.50 p/h.And to add more insult to injury these clowns charged us a £120 service fee which was never mentioned in the previous attended meeting.If your ever considering booking an event at this venue be VERY VERY weary.

We went on wing night and got 2 helpings of 6 wings. The sauce was the right amount of spice. The fries were crispy on the out side and potatoey on the inside which was cooked to perfection. The burger was seasoned well. The quality of food exceeded my expectations, so much so that we came back to repeat our experience. Atmosphere is relaxed, but surprisingly 10 times cleaner than most pubs. Very clean!! I would recommend this place to watch sports, have a cold one, and eat great food.

Expensive food but good. Good selection of beer and larger. Nice outdoor eating/drinking area.
