The Marina - Indian restaurant in Thongwa, Myanmar
Good Indian food for Yangon.
Really like the taste.Best Indian restaurant in town 😊
Best and Authentic Indian Cuisine
Very nice indian food taste available here.
For Indian food this place is legendary in Yangon. Price is not cheap but it is not exorbitant. The cooking style is not watered down, it is powerful, spicy and theres no compromise for the delicate taste buds of the casual tourist. For Indian food this is the ONE
Food is decent however overly spiced and loses the authentic Indian flavour . The dosa is okay, parata is more roti canai.
It was about 4 years ago, I visited 2 times. This is the most amazing Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Great food, great prices, great service and great place. It doesn´t get better than this!
Location and buildings are great. Has enough car parking. Neat and clean. Service is also good. A wide variety of Indian food available. Cooking time is also desirable. A little expensive for local people but seen many locals there even in the time of limitations of Covid 19.
I visited this place on couple of occasions for dinner, and from my experience its a nice place for casual dinner and couple of drinks and its slightly expensive in comparison to other restaurants, as it is located in an upscale locality. We ordered roti, paneer masala, chicken tikka masala, dal and some drinks. The food was good, staff quick and helpful and ambience peaceful. One can choose to either sit indoors or outside in an open view with fresh air. We sat outside with couple of office colleagues and it was really nice to spend time here.
Food is good. Environment is Great. Food on the high side
Best high end Indian food in Yangon. This place is usually packed with Indian expats and tourists on a weekend evening. Food is a little pricey for Yangon but worth it. Staff are consistently lovely.
Good place. good food. My family and friend visited this restaurant and have dinner. I am very much satisfied the food and my daughter love it. The best India fine dinning in Myanmar.
The best indian restaurant in town if you love indian food you cannot miss it. Best menu is mutton curry
Tasty Indian food but a bit pricey. Staff are well trained to recommend you their best items suitable to your taste. Dim sum is good too.
I give four stars for the ambience and the hospitality the staff showed to their customers. The menu is huge with veg/non veg/sea food where you can select your fish before it is cooked, this restaurant was very near to my hotel where i was staying, the rates are slightly more expensive than other indian restaurants located nearby bogyoke market, though they lack the ambience. In short I feel this is an upscale restaurant which is for high end customers.
Excellent Indian food close to the peoples park and Yangon Gallery. Given that a nice atmosphere as well as efficient service are thrown in, this is a clear recommendation (and definitely worth the - for Myanmar standards - rather elevated prices).
Awesome Indian restaurent. Great ambience...grt food. Surely one should visit while in Yangoon
Tasty dishes but has to develop in service part... Also rates are little high
A very good and reasonable indian restuarant with a wide variety of cuisine; near to the aurhentic taste. A good oprion for tge Indians at Myanmar.
India food only good tasteCan you credit card but very expensive
Not worthy of 5 stars because their dishes do not match with actual indian dishes. Eg. Multani chicken and tawa mutton were served to me with same taste and same gravy. This habit of reusing same gravy for every dish is totally bad. Tea had same tase which other Indian restaurants sell at 800ks. Service time is too long even when restaurant isnt crowded. Overall good ambience and hygienic place. Good for business meetings over meal.
Crazy good food. We tried the Aloo Chutney Wala (avoidableand Crispy Corn Basket (really good). We then order a Malai Kofta and Veg Jalfrazie both of which were insanely good. My Malabari Paratha was also very nice. All in all, an incredible experience and will definitely be back soon
Im not a fan of Indian cuisine but I do love Rasam and this place has the best Rasam in all of Yangon!! Have to say their Garlic Naan was really good too. All in double thumbs up and coming from someone who doesnt enjoy Indian food - it says alot.
Authentic Indian cuisine. Tasty food. Worth the price. Goid place for lunch and dinner with family, friends and business partner.Reservation available. Takeaway facility. Big parking and wheelchair access. Private area available.
One of the best Indian restaurant in Yangon. The food is clean & delicious but it takes a long time.car packing is wide. This place near Taw Win Garden Hotel (Tawwin Centerand Downtown area.
Love it. Best Indian restaurant in town.
One of the best indian restaurants in yangon.. food , servic ,everything is too perfect since the mamagement has changed..
The best indian food restaurant that Ive been to. Their biryani is authentic and very good. Butter chicken, tandoori, everything was excellent. Good ambience and the best service that we had in Yangon. The mango lassie was also excellent. I am surprised that other indian restaurants dont have authentic cooking vessels in view like the Marina does. Burbrit is around the corner and is good for beer. The Marina is great for before or after you tour the national museum, which is a 7 minute walk away. Prices are relatively high but within reason.
Good service, high quality food butter chicken #Recommended dish
I love the food especially Grilled Items. Service is quite slow but food is great.
Warm service, clean and tasty Indian food! We had only vegetarian on our visit so I cant speak to the quality of the meat dishes, but everything was well-spiced and well-cooked. Its a bit on the pricey side for Yangon (average 15K kyats for a meal likely, about $10), but reasonable given the setting and the quality.
Great ambience. Love the food. Authentic Indian food. They have a live fish counter and you can select the fish type and sauce as per your taste. All drinks are available. Good place for corporate dinner.
Delicious food, the mutton curry paired with the naan perfect match
It’s a great place to enjoy Indian authentic foods. Please do not forget to try their deserts.
Excellent Indian food. Neat, clean and authentic in taste. The waitresses understand the order by picture and not really by name.
This place has ruined me for Indian food. I had two great spots in DC really close to my house. Now all I want is Marina... Staff is great and service is always excellent for me. Five stars! Try the "butter chicken" and kofta.
This is the definitely one of the best Indian Restaurant in Yangon both in terms of food, ambiance and service. Located in the posh diplomatic enclaves of Yangon, the restaurant provides all 3 meals throughout the day with authentic Indian taste. Do try out the Fish / Chicken preparations which are the very best. In Vegetarian, you get a wide range of food from Paneer to Naans and Rice items. Must Enjoy when in Yangon.
If youre not too concerned about budget and want to have quality indian food, Marina is the place. BBQ is great, for curries you need to be specific in your order about the taste youre expecting. Sea food is great and tastes superb. The best part is peaceful and relaxing environment. You can choose to sit in open area, in main hall or inside dedicated rooms.
At Myanmar it was a pleasant surprise to dine here, awesome food just like home... many items such as parotta and mutton items were better than the original restaurant in Chennai... excellent ambience and superlative service... keep it up!
The Marina is one of the best eating out in Yangon, Myanmar. It has both air con dine in as well as open air. One can have Indian breakfast till 10.30 am.Food are amazing and finger licking. The ambiance is friendly and the restaurant has enough space for parking. Good place for kids and old age people.Drinks are served with smile :-)
Great Indian place, nice atmosphere, but more classy then your usual Indian restaurant. Great service and attentive management. At last but not least, great chicken tikka massala, ghee rise and mango lassi! Overall a very pleasant experience.
Great authentic Indian food! Really love their breakfast as well!!
A must try authentic Indian food in Yangon. Love it.
Quite possibly one of the best meals I had during my whole trip to Myanmar. The roasted lentil dal was so creamy and full of flavor - I couldnt stop eating it! Also the grilled chicken and mint marinated chicken were outstanding. Im sure everything on the menu is great - just wish I could have gone back!
Real Fine Dining Restaurant. Starters are Amazing.
Went twice here.. And both time it stood upto my expectations. One of the best Indian restaurant in Yangon. So far I have tried veg.items including curries, pulao, naans, starters ... Great test..Next time, my target is to try non-veg items. i assume they will have same level of taste and quality.
Really hood indian restaurant. The atmosphere is mordern and stuffs are very friendly. The food is awesome.
amazingly good indian food. nice modern design and great service
Very Excellent indian Food, freshly made and one of a kind! truly amazing, and im indian!
All I can say is that it was exceptionally good. Dangerous if you are trying to loose weight as the food is so tasty I couldn´t stop eating. If you are a fan of fine Indian food, this is a must ! Lovely place and good value also.
