Great brunch spot. Unfortunately not open for dinner. Can feel a little pricey for brunch, but the food is well worth it. Love the chicken.

The chicken was perfectly crispy, but juicy on the inside. The biscuit was wonderfully flaky, not dry, but will melt in your mouth

A+ food and service. Highly recommended. Nashville hot chicken sandwich is the bomb.

Our first time. Restaurant was busy, but staff was great. Our food came fast. The French toast is very good, but the fried chicken was the best Ive ever had. Perfectly seasoned (not a salt bath like others Ive hadand very juicy. Well be back for sure. Even saw a waitress bringing out a water bowl for a customers dog, a plus in my books. Bravo

Eggs were cold, breakfast burrito was cold, coffee was hot but was out away so fast could not get a second cup, avocado was brown/spoiler - great view .a will not be back

The food here is soooo good!! Was looking for a nice sit down breakfast/brunch spot and this was it! Jasmine, our server, was literally the sweetest and most attentive server. Her kindness definitely made us feel 10x more comfortable in this establishment!

Quite disappointed in the "famous " fried chicken. Very, very noisy, and 20 bucks for a hot lunch is a bit much. Id say go around the corner to another local café.

This place has a very good atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was on point and delicious. Its a bit pricey but the taste of the meals are great. This is my second time visiting and will come back for breakfast/lunch.

Be prepared to wait during busy times, have to place order at counter, and it is brought out to you. Anything chicken is worth getting. We were there at noon and they had been out of bisquits for an hour.

Fantastic fried chicken! Really juicy and flavorful. We the Nashville hot chicken breakfast and the Marietta Local special Benedict. Both were delicious! The hot chicken with the Nashville chicken was cooked perfectly with the right amount of spice and the house special hollandaise sauce was just so flavorful. A combination of the Nashville fried chicken breakfast with the hollandaise sauce from the Benedict would probably make for one perfect combination! Going to try that out next time and will update the review after. Regardless, the food here (especially the fried chicken based breakfast oneswere just awesome! Will definitely visit it again.

My friend and I met here for lunch one day while visiting the marietta square and it was definitely different. You have to wait in a line to order and the menu is unique. Eggs Benedict does not come with ham it comes with chicken. Didnt hate it but didnt love the place either.

Delicious breakfast & lunch spot located conveniently on the Marietta square. I wish they served mimosas! Otherwise, the food was delicious, the staff was helpful and friendly, and our food came out quickly!

Always blown away at how good the food is at The Marietta Local! First visit we had the fried chicken and french toast. It was delicious! Second visit had the Nashville Hot Chicken! Yum! The spice is not too much and the handcut fries are a delicious side. They do have outdoor seating and we were able to sit outside and enjoy a nice cool morning while festival set up was happening. Highly recommend! Two thumbs up! 👍👍

Stumbled into this place while on the square and went back again the the 2nd time this week and brought my 9 year old son. The food was amazing! I had the French toast and fried chicken both times and so did my son who’s a picky eater. He talked about the French toast hours later, he really enjoyed it! I never write reviews but I felt I had to, since Covid places have went down and the quality is terrible but this place has good food and great customer. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to taste more menu items! Don’t hesitate stop in and eat.

***First of all let me just say I love this place and the food is great! I’ve been here multiple times.****This rating is strictly for today! I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get here for something to eat, pay for public parking in a lot .. only for me to walk inside and the lady informs me they’re already done and closed for the day by 1:30! All because they were “slow”. These are some of the things I hate with businesses. Why are you closing early when you have business hours for a reason? I mean now should I have to call every time I want to come here to verify your hours? So now I wasted 30 minutes of my time because I chose to come here today. And I’m still hungry! Annoyed is not even the word right now.

We went for brunch today and but did not disappoint! The fried chicken, biscuit and hollandaise on my eggs Benedict was some of the best that I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back to work our way through the menu.

AMAZING! Marietta Local was our caterer for our daughters rehearsal dinner and did an outstanding job! Absolutely the best fried chicken and one of our guest said "these are the best mashed potatoes I had in my life!". The food was beautifully presented in my home by Rachel and Dalvin who were gracious to everyone. Highly recommend using them for any event. Our California guest were pleasantly surprised to have a little South in their mouth!

Best brunch we’ve had in years. Service was impeccable and genuinely friendly. Food very high quality with excellent variety for our party of 10. I had the fried chicken and French Toast - total explosion of flavor!!! My wife had the skillet and she commented to me how much she loved it. Excellent coffee. Venue itself was relaxed and comfortable - cozy like a New Orleans bistro brunch eatery. I wish we lived closer.

We had breakfast here before the rush. The staff was amazing! Super nice and helpful. Really appreciated it! Ordered chicken & French toast and a skillet with chicken. After reading all the amazing reviews my expectations were quite high. Unfortunately, we weren’t really impressed with the food. Not that it was bad, just not very flavorful. Maybe it was an off day.

The French toast was marvelous!!! Chicken was ok, and the grits were a little watery but the overall place was nice to come and have a quick date with my lady 💚

We were visiting from out of state and were recommended to go to Marietta Local for the “Best fried chicken in Georgia “. Truly, the best fried chicken I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere is cute, service is great and food is exceptional! Don’t forget to order grits and collards as your sides, you won’t be disappointed. Loved it!

My husband and I came here this morning and loved the food. It is so delicious and would easily beat our many of the chain breakfast restaurants. I ordered the Marietta Skillet w/ bacon and my husband got the French toast w/chicken. We really enjoyed our entrees. The staff are very welcoming and the decor inside is cozy. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. They clearly know what they are doing.

Great local spot! The fried chicken is as good as Ive head...great flavored breading and super tender. I added some sawmill gravy to create a "chicken fried chicken" type dish. The fries, collard greens and grits were all fantastic sides. My brother had the fried chicken skillet and was very impressed, love the location at town square. We will be back, especially before a Braves game.

Cute little restaurant that sits on the corner In marietta Square! I went for the first time today - had the open faced Nashville hot biscuit with Stone Ground Grits. It didnt disappoint. The coffee was good and the staff was super friendly. I will be returning

Chicken and French Toast was delicious. The chicken has such a great flavor and the French toast was some of the best Ive ever had.

Biscuits are fantastic. You get both of best worlds. Soft top and toasted bottom. Grits are worth it. Southern style creamy but not too much seasoning. The fried chicken here is lightly breaded and not overly crispy. Very well seasoned where you can simply eat it on its own! I did the French Toast with chicken and man was it a great combination! Syrup on the chicken for sure! They do provide apples but they are on the tart side which i asked for on the side. French Toast is perfect. Fluffy but not ever soggy.

First time visiting, and my mom was in town..whos dined there frequently and recommended her favorite; which was their FAMOUS FRENCH TOAST AND CHICKEN!! and I must say that it was DELICIOUS!! Service was fast and efficient..and our server was very attentive to our needs..form the time that we arrived, until we left. I will definitely be recommending this gem to all of my family and friends ❤..im definitely hooked and will be back!!😍👍

This is the best chicken, best grits and beat french toast I have ever eaten. A little expensive but absolutely worth the price. Staff is great and the location is perfect. You can walk around the square and eat when you get hungry. They are only open for breakfast and lunch so check their hours before you go.

Needed to take a quick lunch break while introducing my clients to homes nearby and always look for local restaurants I havent visited yet.. Amazing! My wife and I love eating here! There’s always a bit of a wait but it is so worth it. Make sure you get here early or you might miss out on their biscuits, and trust me, they’re worth getting up early! I love the Nashville hot breakfast more than I love most things.

My family and I had lunch at the Marietta Local for the first time and had a great experience. I ordered the Local Benedict and it was absolutely delicious! I really appreciate that you can choose how you want the egg prepared with the meal. I went with a fried egg and it was fantastic. My kids loved the French toast and my husband loved his fried chicken wrap. The service was very fast and we had someone checking in on us to see if we needed anything at least twice. The overall experience was fantastic. Can’t wait to try more things on their menu!

Yesterday I took a run in Marietta square and stumbled across this nice local spot. The location Is very small so I can only imagine how it looks on the weekend or a busy day.As I entered I was slightly confused on what to do because there was no on at the door or no one greeted me. This being my first time I just st down. I waited for about 3 mins until I stopped a server and was advised to ordered at the cashier.I ordered my food and was pleasantly surprised with the deliciousness of the chicken coming from that little kitchen. Very juicy and tasty.I had enjoyed the lovely lady that keep checking on me. Overall great spot, I probably wont visit again for dine in because the seating is it just close for me- so close i could hug my neighbor, but definitely would do take out!!

This is some dang fine chicken!! Its a MUST if youre in Atlanta. Superb Nashville hot chicken w skin on mashed potatoes and the Stubborn black cherry cola washed it down nicely. Met the owner, incredibly friendly and personable with some ties to home, Johnson city, TN. Well be back!

I ordered the nashville hot chicken and it was CRAZY GOOD. Amazing sized portion, slathered in spices and flavors that were both sweet and hot, tangy pickles to add to it. And to top all of that, the staff were super kind. As soon as they realized we were first timers, they made sure to hype up and recommend things we might like off the menu and checked to see how we liked it all. Great place!!

The chicken and French toast is incredible! I couldve done without the peaches on top, but it still tasted good with them. Their coffee is really good too, just wish they did breakfast all day. Definitely coming back here next time Im in the square

Went on a Saturday after exploring the Marietta Farmers Market. The line at 11:30 was about a 20-minute wait, but well worth it! Ordered the summer seasonal salad myself and the boyfriend got the chicken and french toast. DELICIOUS and he said one of the best friend chicken breasts hes had, and hes from Georgia!

I would definitely recommend this place, very friendly, food was fabulous! You have to find parking because of there downtown location, but there was plenty of parking on the street. Coffee was also very good & refills are free. If you go on a Saturday- would highly recommend the farmers market in the square. Fresh baked bread & treats galore. Had to buy fresh picked strawberries , the juice ran down my chin, so sweet & juicy!❤

The Marietta Local is a must! The French toast and chicken breakfast is simply amazing. This was my first time visiting and the staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious, so I will definitely be back to explore the menu.

My husband has been raving about this place and I finally got a chance to go... SO GOOD!!! Their chicken is delicious and everything tastes so fresh!The salad pictured is their seasonal salad and is delicious!!!The Nashville is their spicy & sweet chicken and is amazing!You wont be disappointed going here!The owner and staff are so sweet and friendly!
