The Manor Arms - Pub in Aldridge, United Kingdom
One of the oldest pubs in Britain. Well kept ales and an unusual bar.
Made welcome all year round
Nice place to have a nice quiet drink
Lovely old pub with peaceful canal side garden, loads of character
A quirky little pub. Great walks in the nature reserve next to it. Fantastic real ales
Fabulous unspoilt canal side pub with excellent beer.
Limited beers no dark ales or real ales.
Very dood beer but a little dear at over £9.00 for 2 pints.Nice stop off after a walk round the Lime Pits.Staff are lovely
Great pub.Nice beer garden.Friendly staff.
Nice olde worlde pub with a quirky layout. Well kept selection of real ale.
Lovely Place, just like a country village pub.
Lovely traditional pub. Great beer selection and lovely bar staff
Really nice old fashioned pub well recommended
Lovely pub nice company
Great place to stop for a drink and a cob after walking on canal tow path, lovely garden to sit in.
Oldest pub......in the world.Nice canal side pub with massive beer garden and good selection of beer.
Stumbled on this place last year and it’s a proper relaxing, friendly and welcoming place to chill out and have a couple of pints. Lovely cobs!
Great old pub, no TV on the walls and no music . Good beer and nice cheese and onion cob. Would definitely recommend if you like a nice pint and friendly staff. I will be going again.
A cosy traditional canalside pub...4 real ales on, the ones we tried were in excellent condition but a little mainstream for my own tastes such as Hobgoblin and Wainwrights...staff and locals made us welcome so definitely one to give it a try.
Very friendly and are 🐕 friendly even having treats for them a lovely place
Nice traditional canal pub. Not large but very quaint. Especially the bar!
Very friendly staff. Dog friendly pub.Lovely and warm old building. We felt very welcome here.
Good pint, friendly staff. Unusual pub, has no bar. Well worth a visit.
Nice real ale pub in Rushall near Walsall Birmingham near Rushall fc well worth a visit
Havent been to The Manor since before Covid struck. The manager said it had been a struggle to survive but they have. Beer on tap was excellent - Wainwrights, Banks Sunbeam and two others. They dont stock a wide range of wines but the Merlot offered was very good. Good to see there still isnt a bar counter. Card machine is now de rigeur. Worth a visit!
Great old fashioned pub on the side of the canal. Really fantastic place
Great beer, decent prices, friendly staff, lots of outdoor seating.
Nicely positioned next to the canal and near a walk through a nature reserve. Lovely to sit in their shaded beer garden enjoying a cool drink on a hot day.
A lovely little canal-side hostelry. Visited there on 13th, after a 9 mile walk, so my friend and I were in need of some rehydration. Nice beers and a small selection of Of various cobs, nice beer garden and friendly staff. Recommend a visit to this place.
Quaint clean and quiet pub with good beers and well kept beer garden right next to the canal also good parking
Great place to be in a historic pub with very friendly staff and a friendly atmosphere
Enjoyed my drink, whether inside or out, very welcoming. Good Pint. Great staff
Its an okay pub. Not much to say. Staff are nice and its nicely situated on the side of the canal. Its a very old building from wwI or wwII. Nothing exciting just your average old mans working pub..
Lovely little pub, friendly staff and friendly punters, we call it our local even though we live 2 miles away
Nice pub, good beer and friendly staff
Lovely Pub very friendly and servers good traditional beers and ales. Cosy rooms and a traditional style of a pub of yesteryear.
First class host, first class beer, first class pub Faye, (pork pie and cheese and onion cobs). All at a very reasonable priceWorth the journey.
Great boozer, real ale, next to the canal, a step back in time, ale kept well, usually a minimum of 5 hand pulls on at a time.
Great Beer well kept and cobs to boot!!! If you want to experience what a proper pub used to be like this is one worth a visit!!!
The pub was described as having friendly staff. They must have been away that day.The only food available was a cheese roll or a pork pie. Sadly two us had travelled from Swindon and two from Preston to meet there as it was dog friendly . At least the beer was excellent!
Nice pub with unique open bar with great choice of beers.
Lovely little pub without a bar and really good cheese and onion cob. Nice beer garden and on the canal
Fantastic, wonderful old style pub. Could spend days on end here. Fantastic after a walk in the Lime Pits. They now take cards which negates the old problem of cash onlyOne of the best pubs around!
A marvellous little pub. It is almost unique in having no bar counter. The beer is the Marstons range, so only average, but the pub itself is an historic gem. If you need to work up a thirst have a walk around the nature reserve next door. They now take card payments.
Nice, quirky pub. Beer was good, and the garden was nice to sit in. The only downside - you cant see the canal from the garden of a canal side pub. There would be one more star if you could.
Excellent beer one of the best pints around. A great place for a drink and a snack after taking the dog for a walk.
Quirky friendly pub. Walked up the canal on a Monday mid-afternoon and spent a few hours making friends. Well kept beer, nice staff.
Lovely, very old canal side pub. Seating outside. Proper cottagey pub with beams & lots of wood. Good beers (above average price). Dogs welcome. Park Lime Pits not far away. Great walks along canal.
Friendly little pub. Good selection of Ales
A little gem with amazing history. Good choice of beer and the cheese and onion cobs are recommended. Lovely walk around flooded lime pits or along the canal right on the doorstep.
