196 Tooting High St, Tooting, London SW17 0SF, Atbara
Big screen sports, daily specials from a British menu and live music in a modern, designer pub.
I love this place, but we need to talk about the Nachos. We come here regularly for them and have a New Years day Peroni + Nachos tradition. When theyre good, theyre the best in London. But about 1 time out of 3, there is so little cheese it looks like it has just been sprinkled around the edge of the plate. This happened last night. This makes me sad. Please put cheese on my Nachos.
Under the radar local. Well kept pub with great food and lovely staff.
Best food you can find. I come here every Sunday having Roast Sunday and Im not gonna lie, its so delicious and well cooked everytime I go. The staff is also extremely polite, caring & professional. Also the atmosphere is amazing. Well done guys 🤟Thank you
Excellent food! I loved their burger
Best Sunday roast around for sure! And footie on
Great lamb shank on Sunday roast!Great staff and prices!
Good food. Reasonably priced.
Sunday roasts are smashing and atmosphere lovely. Highly recommend
Stopped by for a drink, friendly staff and nice locals atmosphere. Big screens with footy on inside and tables outside with nice flowers
Nice spread for a family event in a private area at the back. Good choice of beer.
Great pub, helpful friendly staff, good food, plenty of space and TVs for the sport
A pub where the food is actually excellent .Lovely decorated with nice ambiance.
Surprisingly great beer and very NHS friendly. Much better than a lot of local competition.
Fantastic place for food drink and people
Food tasted fine when it arrived, but it has left me with the most horrible food poisoning. Go at your own risk!
Great pub to watch your football games. nice staff and reasonable prices.
I had the loveliest roast here, I ordered the pork and it was stunning, my friends got lamb which was also incredible, excellent prices for the quality of food you get, was served by the loveliest waitress named Amber who was so attentive and so accommodating, cannot recommend this place enough!
Really nice local pub with really friendly staff.
I had my friends bridal shower in the manor and it was exceptional. From the customer service, the food, the way they accommodated us to make it extra special. I would come here over and over. Special thanks to Gosia for handling the booking so well and ensuring I got value for money and advising me on the best options
Very nice pub.Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.Good location for hospital (St Georges)
The staff at The Manor are SO friendly, always a smile and a "hows it going". Makes you feel good about the place as soon as you arrive. A nice Tooting pub.
Friendly pub with a strong local community atmosphere. We went on a Friday night, where they have a regular musician playing popular covers. Food was good. Liked the Sussex best.
Large, sprawling pub. Beer OK but never great. Good pub if you like football with loads of screens scattered around the place with semi private areas
Lovely friendly staff and a great pub quiz on a Thursday night. Additionally they may do the best battered squid in the city!! Thanks guys!
Amazing family pub, serving quality sunday lunch. Friendly service with a nice selection of drinks. Will definitely be going back
Really good boozer! Burgers and Ribs were amazing, great selection of draught and staff always super friendly. Will be returning. Cheers!
Kind and friendly staff. Quick and efficient service for food. Too many screens - hard to find a table without one nearby. Chips good.
1st visit but the bar staff were very friendly and helpful good selection of beers. Reasonable menu fair prices and good service. The food was well cooked and plenty on the plate.
I came because the 4.3 rating usually means that you can be sure the beer is well kept. There was only one ale on and it was not well kept. Tasted of apple juice, and flat
The best pub in Tooting, wonderful friendly staff, great atmosphere, food is fab particularly the Sunday roast, great options for watching sport too.
Its a Pub!!! Thats a compliment by the way. Its neither a back street boozer, nor a ponced up, overpriced wannabe venue, but a good straight forward South London Pub! The food suits the pub; Good standard, reasonably priced, no gastro malarkey. Good for sport with plenty of screens, but doesnt overwhelm the Pub. Central bar, with pool table tucked away in one corner, and plenty of outside seating either roadside surrounding the building or rear beer garden.DEFINITELY WORTH A VISIT, if youre looking for a comfortable, all round Pub night.
Quick stop off whilst daughter having a trip to A&E.When in doubt, eat nachos. Was good, nothing special but for South London was glad to of found somewhere to fill my tum and keep 2nd child out of mischief.Worked a treat and by time we had finished daughter one and partner were done.Wasnt much atmosphere, but Covid Sundays have been a bit quiet.
Not cheap but very nice. Outdoor seating, lots of space inside, really kind staff too. They sell it. Theyre great. One star off because there are so many better options nearby, but still great. You wont hate a night here. You may do if you find the options around, but still a great night.Again, staff are on point as far as I experienced. Pay them better Manor Tooting!
Lovely pub and staff. But was charged 12.5% service charge for a couple of pints. Not as if I could have gone to the bar ?? Worked out at £6.75 a pint!!
Really nice pub! Great food and cheap drinks! Was served by Sophia, really polite and her customer service was second to none! 5 stars for Sophia.
Wow.... Service by Sophia was 10/10!!! It was fantastic service, great prices and fantastic food/ drink. Well recommended for anyone looking for good bar and atmosphere! Sophia is a credit to the team!!!
After eating and drinking there for last few night I’ve just found out for a staff member that they are adding on £5 to all bill as a service charge without telling youThis is actually optional but they forget to tell you that it “ robbing gits “So after arguing at the bar I got £10 refunded. ..... please be aware and check your bill ........ I’ll never go in again !
Lovely place. Limited out door space...but the food is great. Good ale...served in the appropriate glasses. Staff lovely and welcoming. The roast to die for.
Great pub and great service by Gosia and team, they moved us to the garden when we requested and we were treated really well. The food was really good too.
Good food at very reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend it and well be back.
Fantastic service. Ruth, Jack, and Louis were incredible. Have to say Reece and Anna were great on a previous visit and the new guy I think, Nick were really friendly and polite. I will definitely recommend!!
We booked a table of 7, our main server was Sophia, she made sure we were looked after. She was lovely and gave us great service. We will definitely make it a regular Sunday roast and hopefully Sophia will be looking after us again. Thank you!
The Manor use to be our local, friendly staff good vibe. We have now stopped going due to one of the male bar staff slightly chubby with glasses started giving us dirty looks and being generally really rude for no reason which is shame. I hate to think what we use to spend in there - but no regrets we did have some good times.
Friday evening is not the best time to walk into a London pub with a child but here they accept children until 9PM and they do have a children’s menu. The bar staff was very kind. They have several ales on hand pump and the food was good. They made a good job refurbishing this old building also, which is a plus.
Great place for a night out with friends. Tasty food, good price on drinks, lovely team behind the bar that were kind and very friendly. It was my first time at The Manor on Saturday and we will definitely be coming back here again.
Great pub you would never tell it’s a chain. Here for Sunday roast today they are a bit stretched for staff only two people working they are feeling the pressure but saying that the venue is clean the food is great and it is clean.A nice change from that big chain feel.Keep up the good work !!
I arrived on a Monday evening. I was lucky enough to be joined by some close dear friends in a welcoming and warm bar/grill. After some warm light hearted banter with friends. I was unable to go home as I had forgotten my key. I was feeling awkward, isolated and alone. But I met Ruth and Julie at the bar who made me feel wanted and welcome. They are lovely people. I recommend anyone to come to manor for great hospitality and a great place to chill and relax the menu is to die for also. Great mains. Hats of to Julie and Ruth. #Best pub in tooting.
Popped into the Manor for a quick drink but ended up ordering food , the ribs just melted of the bone the hubby had the sausage and mash. Really good food for a great price will definitely pop back in . Staff was nice and friendly.
Had a Sunday roast there, was a really lovely meal but way too small a portion and a bit on the pricey side. Its a lovely setting, especially in the summer. They have a front porch with a nice seating area. Overall, I would go again, but just for drinks.
Dropped in for a drink, sold out of London Pride, two other ales to choose from, both warm. Guys this is NOT the way to serve or keep beer.I remember this pub from years ago, not one that I would even consider setting foot. Of recent it has been refurbished and is quite inviting, hence my dropping in. food being served looked good, interesting and well priced menu. Nice interior, glad to see that the pub has not been turned into a Tesco Express or a block of flats.Bar staff very helpful, but a pub should know how to keep and serve beer or just dont bother.
