Are you moving to a new location? Food was pretty good. Looking forward to my sides for tonights dinner but it was closed.

Mannnnnnnnn this doesnt make no damn sense. The food was hitting the spot once I touch it. This my first time here today. And yall I receive the love from the ladies. They were like led school grandma. They remind me of my grandma. I had order catfish nuggets with mac and cheese with broccoli and cheese casserole for the side while my daughters had fried chicken and mac and cheese on the side. With lemon cake. I almost went in there almost slap whoever momma it is becuase it make no sense how good the food is. 🤣🤣. Sorry Im a little wild. Me and my daughters was speechless. Just go in there. They we are friendly and the food is top notch in my eyes. Cant wait to see their new location.

Manna House Cafe is home. Immediately walking in youll be greeted by Missie, the most amazing, loving and sweet woman Ive ever hugged. Everyone is so comfortable and layed back. Layed but still professional and everyone working together in sync and efficiently. I had to wait a year to come back. It had been on my mind and heart since then. Ill never wait that long again. Just go, you wont be let down, and youll definitely come back. All that great service plus food that will make you taste buds and tummy happy, warm, and full.

Love love their food but amd Again I love love love love their food but theyre Always out of the beef tips. Besides their prices and what they are giving for their prices on certain plates this place is wonderful. Good down to earth people. The pork chops are no where near what they use to be. Before they were thick & juice. Only eat one & get full but now it would take 3 to make 1 of what they used to serve. I understand theres a shortage on things but maybe lower your prices on that plate...its not cheap to eat here 2 people $45-$50and still hungry when your done.

Fresh catfish very good ..women who work the front all very sweet not to big on the corn bread no flavor .loved smothered chicken it could of been cooked a little longer though and BBQ. Chicken was good and cat fish the smothered chicken could have been cooked a little longer so it would have been softer and fell off the bones but it was well seasoned didnt care for the Mac and cheese to much or the corn

This place right here! We will DEFINITELY be back!!! The food was DELICIOUS, hot, and came out fast! Fried chicken wings, collard greens (omg!! so tender), turkey wings (fell off the bone!), yams, broccoli and cheese casserole, cornbread!!! 🍴🍴The staff was amazing as well!! Food was overrated based on the reviews. Bought 2 plates: bbq wings with collards/mnc and fried pork chops with turnips/yams. Side order of Peas, pound cake and Peach cobbler. Money wasted. Mnc, chops and cake was on point. Remainder of food was not worth eating. Wings fried then covered in bbq sauce. Turnips/collards overly sweet. Cornbread mediocre. Yams from a can. Cobbler yuck. Will not be going back.

Had an intense workout needed some carbs and wanted grandmothers cooking but she’s not here so I tried Manna today very good food yea reverend will be back! for salmon and key lime cake

Took time worth the wait prices not bad for actually good soul food which is really hard to come by on this side of town.And ps. You know its good if you eating soon as you get to your car lol

Im from California and I was on the hunt for some food using Google Maps and it said that this place is comparable to a place that I love in LA. Well I had to check out yall and I must say that " Manna House is the bees-knees," all tucked away like the gold nugget that it is.I give it 6 starts.

Had a veggie plate, it was delicious! Perfectly seasoned, not too much but definitely some there. Cornbread isn’t sweet which is fine with me, I’m just used to sweet cornbread. Definitely recommend. They were very nice as well.

My first time being at this beautiful establishment everybody is kind-hearted with a touch of the love of God most definitely not just in the people but the food is outstanding this place is a must go if you havent been you are missing out on life because you will find it here at the Manna House Cafe

This is sacrilege, but our family is from Mississippi and this place has BETTER catfish than anywhere we have been. Everything we had was incredible and the service was even better.

The food was hot and I appreciative of that aspect. My main course was the 3 whole wings and they lacked flavor/ seasoning. No salt, no pepper, no garlic powder. I overstand being conscious about salt intake but please dont sacrifice flavor.

Got the pork chops. So freaking good. Cannot recommend this place enough. The ladies at the counter were also very nice.

Food was bomb and the seasoned ladies all around let you know that from the door lol. Felt like walking into my Grandmas kitchen! Will def recommend but order ahead, trust me

The people in the cafe are wonderful, friendly. I was looking for home cooking, It is spot on, everything was delicious. It was like eating at my grandmothers. Best corn bread!!! Not easy to find, moist and satisfying. The gentleman cooking my salmon croquettes walked out to inform me he was making a new batch because they had run out, nice that he cared so much. The vegetables are great. The yams we ate for dessert. Mom was very pleased with this lunch and so am I. Thank you and God bless you all.

My mom recommended this place and praised the food! I ordered a veggie plate and was disappointed.Collards - they’re a little sweet, which I normally don’t like, but it’s good.Cabbage - has a bit of a bite to it, like vinegar, not to my liking.Cornbread Dressing - just ok, maybe I required more gravy.Mac and Cheese - just ok.Although I didn’t care for much of the sides IF I’m ever in the area during the week, I’ll try a meal with meat to give it another shot, but I will not go out of my way.

Stopped in when I saw 4.8 stars. They deserve every last bit of it! So friendly, fast and the food is to die for. So delicious and will recommend to friends and family

So I am an honest woman, so i have make this review as honest as possible. I love these little gems!!! I order the 3 fried whole wings with a side of rice and gravy along with greens. The wings were bomb perfectly cooked! The greens were really salty for me. It over powered the other seasonings. Rice is rice wasnt bad though. I ordered a side of mac n cheese. It was ok i def didnt need salt. The people were soo nice. The service was fast and great. Only reason why i gave this restaurant a 4 is because of the salt factor. But id visit again because i want them beef tips.

Omg their food is so amazing! The best soul food hidden joint in Atlanta! The Collards, Mac, and salmon croquet was on point! And omg the peach cobbler is next level!And the staff was so nice and hospitable. Will definitely be returning! 😊🙏🏾

Drove an hour to get there...most of the items on the menu was sold out, but I know why!!! 😋 I drive an hour again....and Mrs Lady...not her real name was AWESOME WIT DAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! PLEASE WRAP THE LINE AROUND the corner for this establishment....MANNA for the soul

The staff were professional and friendly. I smelted the chicken driving down the street pulled over and searched google for the closest chicken joint and it pointed me here… the chicken was season and fried to perfection, the cabbage was savory and cooked to the right texture. Sorry no photos was already feasting b4 I decided to review. lol

Love them! Real soul food, not overly seasoned . Remind of the plates we got after church. That lemonade is so good, the greens & baked chicken are my favorite

OMG! The best soul food fix in the metro ATL area! A definite hole in the wall, but the cornbread dressing was on point and seasoned perfectly. The greens were not greasy and seasoned just the way my granny would have made them. The mac n cheese was baked with love and the sweet potatoes, too! Manna House will be my go to spot when I cant cook myself! Its just like mom used to make! (The mom that can seriously cook!!!)

Oh my goodness... the FOOD is phenomenal!!! We ordered the whiting, yams, collard greens... everything was seasoned and cooked well! My taste buds were dancing and rejoicing!! So happy to have found an amazing soul food restaurant. Cant wait to try other items on their menu!! Go...you wont be disappointed!!

Ready to dig into some real southern BBQ and sides? The country fried steak was my fav! Served on rice with gravy sauce. So I just ate at this place called The Manna House Cafe in Marietta on Fairgrounds.............Ooouuuuuuuwheeeeeee. When i tell you that that was some of the best Soul food Ive ever eaten............Wait....someones coming.........false alarm. Gotta be careful, dont want to offend the ladies who makes my sandwiches. Anyway, I ordered the Whiting 3 piece filet, rice/brown gravy and Macaroni and cheese......Deeeeeeeeeelicous. Im talking smacking sounds delicious. While i was enjoying this tastefully homemade dish i heard what sounded like someone praying, i thought Wow! Great food and Church services..... The praying seemed to be coming from the back of the restaurant or from someones radio........ Or so i thought.....My stomach kept bumping against the table and when i looked down to see what was going on,......... my stomach was doing this thing.....Like some sort of praise and worship dance ...... shouting and screaming like a choir.... Hallelujah Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Speaking in Tongues, (Manna Mannamannamanna), Praising Jesus ... Thank you Jesus, Thank ya Thank ya Thank ya. I told my stomach, Hey i know the food is great But Per-leeeeeaasse keep it down, the ladies in my life who make me sandwiches might hear you. They gone get mad. Wow!! The food here was delicious, and the service was superb! When my husband and I landed from Houston on our visit to Atlanta, we came straight here based on reviews. We were not disappointed!!! We ordered the catfish nuggets with mac and cheese, fried okra, and a pound cake. Since I follow a restrictive diet, we decided on one entree to share to limit my intake of fried foods. I just want to say that food was sooooooo good, and my husband enjoyed the cake!! The ladies were super friendly and answered every question we had about the menu. As soon as you walk through the door, you are welcomely greeted. It makes you feel like you walked into someones home. I would give the customer service 5 stars. Unfortunately, the experience is based on many other factors. The main factor being the food. We ordered Baked Chicken w/ rice & fried okra & 8pc Jumbo Shrimp w/ cornbread dressing and candied yams. For drinks, we had the lemonade & manna punch. Lets start with what we liked. Baked Chicken, fried oka, drinks & cornbread dressing were to our liking. All the other food items missed the mark for us. I would come back to get more of the dressing. It was so good. The ambience was homey and quaint. There were quite a few other patrons coming and going. Overall, a decent restaurant.

By far the best homemade, good for the soul, tastes like grandmas cooking, soul food in town. The desserts are delicious & can tell its homemade from scratch good. The pricing is well worth it. The Manna Juice is my favorite.

Food is so good! I had the catfish with macn cheese, collards, and candied yams. The staff are very friendly and provide that southern hospitality.

If you’re looking for yummy homestyle comfort food, this is the place. Teresa, our host, was the sweetest and welcomed us in with a smile. She let us know what was on the menu and gave her recommendations, as it was out first time there. We ordered the catfish nuggets, hot chicken wings, peach cobbler, and sweet potato pie. The nuggets and wings both came with 2 sides and a mini loaf of cornbread. I got collard greens and fried okra. My boyfriend got Mac and cheese and fried okra. Despite being fried nothing was oily/greasy. The catfish nuggets were perfect, medium sized chunks of fish and the batter wasn’t too thick so it had a nice crust to fish ratio. It came with a smooth honey/hot mustard type of tarter sauce which paired nicely with the fried okra as well. The hot wings were delicious (Teresa let us know the wings would be about 20 min but we were fine with waiting). They weren’t overcooked and dry wings, they were crisp on the outside and had good flavor while being nice and tender on the inside. The hot wings were a wet rub, not a dry rub. The collard greens had a nice savory flavor. The Mac and cheese was alright. The peach cobbler and sweet potato pie were delicious and had just the right amount of sweetness. Great customer service and the food was DELICIOUS!!! It was like eating with my family. Will definitely return! My friend ordered the baked chicken with collard greens and Macn cheese. I ordered the smothered pork chops with the same sides, including pinto beans. Forgot to take a picture of mine due to excitement! 😂

I love this place, honestly the food was so good. I loved how the catfish was lightly breaded, it wasn’t too thick. Mac & cheese didn’t have to much cheese - it was perfectly equal. Red velvet cake was BOMB. I love the environment in the restaurant, even though I did takeout - I could feel the love in the restaurant. Support all black owned businesses!!

What a wonderful place to eat!! Good food, and a nice warn family atmosphere. Plus Everyone is welcomed with a HUG from Ms. Teresa! And the food is so good, big servings and very affordable. I will definitely be back!!

This place is awesome! My first time in I was greeted with a hug from Sister Theresa, and while enjoying (immenselymy meal, I got to listen to some live gospel music. Seriously, everyone was so friendly and the food was fantastic! I got the catfish nuggets per Sister Theresa’s recommendation, and they may have been the best catfish I’ve ever had (And I grew up in South Georgia, pretty much the catfish capital of the southBesides the friendly faces and service, the star of the meal was the mac&cheese. This is the Mac&cheese I’ve been looking for since moving back to Georgia 2 yrs ago! It was perfect, as was the fried okra! Loved this place and will be back many times to try more traditional southern soul food.

We came from Canada hoping for some real southern soul food, and we were not disappointed. This restaurant brings meaning to the phrase "Southern Hospitality". Sister Theresa and everyone else there made us feel like family. She greets every new customer with a hug and a smile, and friendly attention throughout the experience of eating there. The food was fantastic - we especially enjoyed the country fried steak (I suggest ordering it "smothered", which was delicious). Ill definitely be back to the Manna House next time Im near Atlanta.

We went into this place for the first time and it was beyond what my wife and I expected. As so many have already stated, we were greeted with a hug by Mother Teresa lol whose energy is great by the way. We didnt get a chance to get the others name but they were all great!The cooks took their time to make the orders right and the food came out HOT! and delicious! We went in with empty hungry stomachs and came out full in spirit and in gut lol! Mother Teresa prayed with us and for us and was excited about the move of God in and on our lives! Our hour drive was truly worth the experience we gained! Thank you The Manna House!

So my friend told me about this place and I decided to do my research. Which means I read as many reviews as possible. I am so glad I made my way to Ms. Teresa and Ms. Joy! The atmosphere is very welcoming. Got my hug ✔ and my nickname ✔ The food is delicious! I ordered the 3 Whiting Meal w/ Manna Punch. Im eating it right now. Came in to pick up an Uber eats delivery and knew from the aroma I needed to come back and try it! So glad I did. Sister Teresa greets you with hug on your first visit, so sweet. Then you get to the food, the cooks are amazing! Service was great. They were out of the beef tips and the red velvet cake so I opted for fried pork chops and lemon pound cake. Comes with 2 sides and a drink. I got Mac and cheese and green beans. I was not disappointed!! Very very good, I will be back for the others!

From the time you step into The Manna House you feel as though you are home with family. I was greeted with a hug and even received a prayer before I left. Food is absolutely amazing! Catfish nuggets were seasoned and fried to perfection. It was my first time visiting and I will definitely be returning!

Let me start off by saying The Manna House will fill your stomach and your soul!! Everything was wonderful!! The welcoming hug was amazing! I cant stop raving about the food. The catfish was fried perfectly and the smothered pork chops were so tender! We visit definitely come here again. The Manna House is a must!! Dont forget the Manna House Punch!!

I give this place 5 🌟 and 3 snaps in the Z formation To say anything less then the food was absolutely superb, would be an understatement! Southern cooking at its finest. I had the fried catfish platter. Which came with two huge fillets, and my choice of two sides. I went with the collard greens and fried okra. Both sides were delicious. Everything is cooked to order, with the exception of some of the vegetables and the baked chicken. So be prepared to wait anywhere from 8 to 15 minutes for your food. Its probably best to call ahead, especially if you plan on taking it to go. Most people would say that the food is a bit pricey, however this is a local business, not a big chain franchise, so to me its understandable why the food wouldd cost more. In fact in my opinion is well worth it, not to mention that youre helping out your local neighbor who lives in your community, pays taxes, has a family, and spends their money in the same community.
