The Mall Luton - Shopping Centre in Ducheng, China
As most places a decentooking shopping centre, filled with a variety of stores and indoor market. My only downfall which reflects the 4 star is mens wear could do with a couple more stores, and shoe shops could do with just 1 or 2 quality shoe stores for work wear.
Cheap mall with equally bad shoppers that walk straight into you a lot. Lots of people smell bad in this mall. Worst mall I have ever seen in a Western Country. Plenty of shops to choose from, although M&S escaped some time ago due to overwhelming shoplifters ( this malls main Clientell).Very busy , but no quality mall.Too expensive for this type of mall
Nice place to shop.Whatever you want youll find it here somewhere. The place is always kept clean and tidy but it can get very busy at times!
Just ok, beware of very intensive smell of curry so you must to use to it or take a deep breath...
Good place to visit for serious shopping, but I havent had the chance to go up to the Mall in Luton Town as yet.
Hadnt been here for about 12 years traveled from stevenage nothing special about this place same old shops you get in any town had a decent breakfast in greenfield which was cooked very nicely would not go again
Its ok when not so busy. Can get pretty pa ked out and seems like you cant move sometimes. Nice to see some different shops opening.
Walked inside on remembrance sunday November 2022Feels like everyone wants to tuck you up,clearly not locals in this shopping centre as it was so scary please be careful when in this area.
Nice place to buy items, like food, beverages, dresses, like everything.
Nice place for shoping, clothing, foodstuffs, homerequirements, stationary what else not at an affordable price.
Its just horrible! The only good thing about it is the Brow Bar outside River Island - the women there do an absolutely fantastic job every time.I highly recommend it.But the rest of this Mall is just awful!
One of the Best Mall in Luton. Quality Brands with reasonable prices. All you can buy here. Best for families and special attractions for childrens. Quality food outlets. Best options. Easy and accessible to everyone. Special care for old age peoples. Wheelchair access. Near by bus stops. Well planned and organized Mall. I loved it. Specially Prime Mark and JD.
The NHS Covid service is not on the map, but nonetheless amazing. Some of the finest staff in the NHS. A shame it is not on the map of Luton Mall stores. Next door to Lidl.
A good mall where you can get almost everything. There is even a market inside. Lot of eating options in and around
Its a great place to shop, and for kids to have fun. A nice parking garage where you pay 1.5 British pounds to park for 2 hours. Parking spaces in the first four levels are usually filled up so if you dont get space below, there is surely space up.
Very busy place lots of different shops, eating places etc. Also has the NHS Bute House Centre there. Has changed alot over the years and lost many large department stores
Very busy shopping centre ...a touch dated, with old school market area. Parking is expensive but if you use the Power Court parking area opposite the rear entrance its only 80p an hour though no coins accepted.
Terrible shopping mall, staff-members are amongst the most rude Ive ever seen in my entire life.Their bathrooms is what disgusted me the most, lets just say that they dont know the meaning of hygiene...Shops inside this mall arent much rich of things to offer, I would not recommend this place to anyone at all.
Its kept clean and neat lifts and stairs plus ramps for me this is great I can use my chair without using lifts.
I liked the shops, although some of the shps didnt have lifts so I couldnt access all the levels, and some of the shops would definitely not fit a wheelchair.
Nice place, cheap food and clothes. Easy walk about and near the station. 4 just because its a little dirty.
Havent visited here for many years and my goodness how different it is.Firstly one of the multi-storey car parks was closed and the other was full. Very annoying. Couldnt find anywhere to park and ended up quite a way away.A good selection of shops including clothes, phones, food etc.Sadly the indoor market is looking very sad, not many stalls left now.Worth a visit if you dont mind lots of people.
Personal opinion follows :A bit too crowded for a highstreet mall. Most of the foot traffic are outside the shops than in them. The bigname shops are nicely set up while the smaller shops are barely "stand - out"y.
What a dump! Depressing, dirty, full of tacky shops with the most "posh" one being H&M. Loud and obnoxious people with little brats have no parental supervision. Everyone looks moody.
Very crowded. Lots of stores are not available anymore. The elevators are out of order most of the time. The toilets stink. I recommend shopping in another city. Well, unless you have no choice.
Used to be quite a good place to shop and dont get me wrong it still is. However, I belive it is now to small for the size of luton as it is always crowded in stores and in-between stores. It needs upgrading to a similar size of Milton Keynes as I find thats where I go more often now as there a more varied range of shops. All the mall seems to have nowadays are shoe shops and food shops. On a plus note It has plenty security guards to keep you safe and the cleaners are always active the toilets are clean and so is the building in general
Cool atmosphere for shopping π
Took a look around while waiting for a coach. Seemed clean, busy with a good variety of shops. Cannot comment further as I didnt do any shopping hence 3*
Clean and airy. Plenty of shops but no big name brands like Marks and Spencer etc.). There is a Lidl, Wilkinson and plenty of smaller shops. Good choice if you want to eat. Parking is plentiful.
Needs some more popular shops as this is a pretty decent shopping centre but does need a better array of stores and main ones have left
When taking opinion about big shopping malls and local shops, some people think that shopping mall charges higher than the small trader, while others argue that these big retail outlets are the finest places to visit for purchasing anything. This essay will discuss both ideas and establishes my preference. To begin with, shopping malls are expensive locations to buy anything, while small vendors have the same products at lesser prices. This is because the tax imposed on the products is not applicable to individual sellers. For instance, headset purchased from a big store can be of a higher price, while the same product bought from the local shop is inexpensive. On the other hand, most people prefer buying the material from these huge retail complexes. This is because they give good quality products with proper receipts and they have return policies, so if the customer is not satisfied with the products, they can return them. These malls would have various facilities that attract families to come together and buy goods. For example, most of these places have centralized air conditioning along with the food court and a kidβs zone. This makes the family feel relaxed and joyous to come to these places. In conclusion, many people believe that large shopping areas have costly products in comparison to the individual shops, while others argue that they find malls an exciting place to visit. In my opinion, the retailers having the facilities like trial policy, discount, and return policy in addition to the comfort a customer gets while shopping. Thus, I think that going to these places is the best activity for buying things.
Stay inside at all costs, Park your car on top of the shops, enjoy your shopping, Do Not Leave except in your car. Lots of eating options and all budgets catered to in this expansive shopping mall.
Luton has a terrible reputation especially with the demise of Marks & Spencer and Debenhams from what was originally called the Arndale Centre. My last recollection of this mall, one of the first to be built in the UK was years ago. Imagine my surprise when I visited it in its new guise as βThe Mallβ a few days ago and saw it as modern attractive vibrant revitalised centre. This is a large shopping complex with a unique integral but seperated covered market and anchor stores. Itβs well worth revisiting!
We have used this parking week ago . I have very good experience with these people , pick up And drop off on time , clear comunication. BIG THANK you to one member of staff who found my Wallet i have dropped in his car , he has contacted me immediately ,and theyβve managed to post this back to me so I havenβt travel again ( I am an hour away from Luton . Very friendly and honest people. Highly recommend, we will get back to you π :Kornelia W.
Extremely disappointing shopping experience. Most big brand names such as M&S & Debenhams have gone, leaving the mall with multiple jewellery stores, food shops, sports shops & phone stores. Shelves are not well stocked lifts out of order. Not an appealing mall.
Quite complex even if not very big. You have market as well at the end of the mall with fresh veggies, fresh fish. The most appreciated is the baby changing space Xx
Good selection of shops but not many brands to choose from. Great coffee and bubble tea places. Worth giving the internal market a go for an international arrays of products.
Very very bustling place! Which is nice, but if youre afraid of catching Covid, is aNightmare!I π ran in and out as quickly as I could as no one was wearing masks. I was looking for a company doing Covid vaccination for travelling. I asked the desk that was responsible for giving out directions and they were hopeless!!!I wouldnt recommend the service or the Mall. Sorry π.
The Mall was OK but the surrounding areas feel a bit threatening. People lolling about on pavements drunk. Others openly using drugs (via balloonsin the street. Visibly vulnerable adults in distress. If Luton council doesnt improve its surroundings - including mental health and support services - customers will go elsewhere.
Has a lot of variety and various brands. An affordable place to shop. Highly recommended.
Its extremely sad to see how rundown and desperate the centre has become.I used to live here and I know its indicative of many high streets but this seems to have suffered badly. There are no decent clothes shops ,only river island left, even M&s has vacated. All the big shops we used to know are all tat shops, vape shops mobile phone fix it/ jewellery /perfume shops or have the windows boarded up.Too many tramps and many pubs closed with lots of dodgy looking down and outs hanging around.I would avoid this place at all costs. Must be bad when charity shops have left.Sad times but a true indication of how the poor have got poorer and the rich richer by most people spending their small disposable income on high rents/ housing bills and basic living.
It is a very small shopping centre. You could be in and out in no time. I visited a couple of friends here who are trying to move out of Luton because they are bored out of their minds! They took me to the shopping centre a few times and it was boring! Not many shops and restaurants to choose from. Luton Council needs to invest in their area. People are nice there but there isnβt much to do.
Large Shopping centre but poor selection of well known shops. Could do with some good shops like Zara, MS FoodHall, White Company etc...The car parking is awful! Could do with a large extension and some well known restaurants to bring some life to the area.
Pretty basic actually. We stopped over as we were on route from one city to another. Wont be visiting Luton in a hurry π
A good place to shop. A good range of shops and very clean. Its good to see The Mall thriving.A lot of the seating has been returned to the walkways and it was very busy. The Mall is now becoming a very busy place to shop. The only niggle now is the LOUD music they play, its too much, do they really need it in the toilets that loud?Sorry, still only 4 stars!!!
Good place in Luton town as jn one roof many brand option available for shopping. good wide range of option available from well known food brand. As university of Bedfordshire is next to this mall and we know plenty of students studying and living there I recommend they add some good Indian cuisine restaurant or small cafe which add good values to the mall.
Wide variety of major retailers along side smaller independents. Whilst some units remain vacant the landlord has made a valiant efforts in allowing the small independents traders in. It add character and uniqueness to this shopping mall. Sadly many of the traders at the indoor market were closed. Ample parking at a reasonable price.
Good place for some local entertainment and timeout. The mall had enough security staff to remind everyone to wear a mask. Markings for social distancing etc were nicely done. The lady at Ask Me desk was able to give good advise when asked about NHS Lateral test kits and activities for kids.
It was an amazing experience to visit in The mall, I like the place very much, going to visit again definitely, good place for shopaholic ones like me, lots of varieties for clothing, shoes, accessories, food etc. New look, Primark, H&M, tk max, jd, sports direct all under one roof. The surface area of the mall is very huge.ππππ
Wide variety of shops with great collections. very well maintained and COVID secure as you could hope for. Great choice of world foods, it also has KFC, McD, Burger King, etc.
