Gourmet food, great taste!

This is a very well known restaurant in the heart of Chalkidiki, Poligyros (the capital of this prefecturelocated in the mountainous area of the peninsula. I have tried and I can vouch for the meet options on the menu, but fish options is said to be great too, that said your host mr. Sofoklis will guide you through everything. Everything youll eat will be local and the style is neo greek cuisine, rooted in tradition but served with a twist and in a more fancy way. My favorite dish is that of the ox heart skewer, I still do dream about it from time to time.

Ive been to restaurants in 20 countries. Easily top 3. Ordered the chicken filet with yogurt, mustard and nuts. It single-handedly ruined every other chicken recipe for me.

Just wow. We have really not expected to find such good food with such a nice host. I am sure you will not find may places with this enthusiasm, quality and love for great food in Greece. If you are nearby you must stop here.

This was one of the best food experiences of my life!!! Excellent quality, imaginative and packed with flavour food! The chef takes the Mediterranean cousin and local ingredients an elevates them! We went tapas style and we had 5 dishes and one dessert, all amazing! You have to try it! Only one advice to the manager, is good that you explain everything to the customers but be a bit less involved in the selection process and give them some breathing space.

It is a very beautiful place, food is super , the owner which is also the one who takes care of the orders has "a nice style" ☺️☺️ must visit .. prices are affordable

Very bad service. We waited for the menu 30 minutes, also the location is very bad, too close to the road.

Very tasty food, but the service should be improved: we waited too long for the menu, the distance between tables is very small, we didn’t like the attitude of the waiter (with some nerve and poor English).

Very good service, the waiter stays with you and explains every food they have. Food was extraordinary and also they cooked something special for our 1 year old child. Strongly recommend!

It’s been like visiting five different restaurants! Literally, menu is huge. Very interesting gourmet dishes by using mostly local products. Overwhelming presentation of the menu by the owner himself. You will never get bored as each time you visit there is always something new on the menu. A great effort in such a small area. Defo worth visiting when around. You will be surprised !!!! Kudos!!!

Great food adventure in Greece! Was worth the drive from Kalyves. Easy to find with google maps.We received a warm welcome in the small but cosy restaurant. Instead of handing us the menu, the chef showed us all the fresh produce in the kitchen and he would explain how he would make the dish. He also let us taste cheese in the kitchen. From that moment on we knew we just had to trust the creativity of his cooking and let him decide all the dishes for us. We were not disappointed. Almost all dishes were interesting and tasty. Star dish: tuna tataki. Most interesting dish: pungent grapefruit jelly. We felt like he was taking us on a food journey. We were sad the dinner ended. Thanks to the friendly staff for the nice experience. Would definitely recommend going here! Total for 2 persons without wine pairing: around 50 euros (there was so much food to enjoy I even forgot to take photos of two other dishes!)

Best Greek restaurant Ive ever tried. They have a great variety of food and also vegetarian/vegan dishes. Menu is available in English and staff can explain. Dolmadakia homemade by grandmother, the most delicious Ive ever had. Book a table in advance.

Eating at Marigoulas is a unique experience. Every dish is extraordinary while the service is beyond compare. Do not be discouraged by the location as there is no view . Needless to say that it is highly recommended.

So glad our goumbaro took us to this place in Poligyro, we had never heard about it... Intimate, fun dining with excellent food, specializing in meat. I think we tried nearly everything on the menu, and it was all delicious! The beef tartare was one of the best I’ve had, plus the salads were great, nice and light. Large selection of meats, plus an interesting combination of langoustines and bone marrow. The owner provides an informative and entertaining description of the menu offerings, and the service was superb. Nice wine selection and many different cheeses/preparations as well.

They have big variety of fresh food and all what we ordered was very tasty and worth the money you pay. Highly recommend especially for winter time.

This was an incredible memorable meal. Delightful atmosphere, lovely presentation, attentive and accomodating staff. Many vegetarian and vegan options. The split pea puree, chard, stuffed grape leaves, and tomato salad with unusual fresh local herbs were all excellent. Would travel to Greece just to go here.

The most amazing food we had the latest years.It is a food mind-blowing trip. I am not usually wasting my time with reviews. I am doing it only when something it is too bad or... Amazing like "The Marigoula". Please hear me, I am living in France and the food here, is Michelin grade. Greek top quality! Congrats to the chefs and to the owner as well.

Great cozy little restaurant with fantastic food. The host was incredibly friendly and showed us all the available seafood of the day. He had great pride in his restaurant and the food was amazing. If you’re ever in Polygiros, don’t miss out on this place!

Took a very long time for the food to be served, took ages even for the bread to come. The food was cold and was later told that the food had been made several hours ago so they took our plates and microwaved it. 2 plates of cold lamb pasta with water for 31 euro including bread and water. The overall experience was really bad and we left the place without finnishing the meal.Will not visit again.

I liked this place, if you are looking for a great meal and a super nice place, this is it. Few tables, locals, people with taste in food, good music, great team in the kitchen and serving. What can I say more? +++++

its a great exprience ...such a small restaurant such a nice tastes ...Greek cuisine but not like the others ... each dish has always that small touch of something that makes the dish special ... if you are around definitely give it a try...

Tried the Bon fillet. Amazing! Nice South American cut and cooked exactly as requested (medium rare). Friendly service. Will definitely revisit it. Am curious for their fish menu. You should visit it too.
