This restaurant is a lovely little gem. The family who owns the shop is very friendly and my 2 daughters got asking really well with their daughter while we were waiting for our food and tea. The tea options are very delicious and refreshing. Ive tried quite a few different iced teas so far. I have many more to try. Also I want to try their hot tea and Boba as well. The sandwiches are fresh and yummy. There are quite a few top chose from so its nice to have variety. I would highly recommend this restaurant. We go regularly and have not been disappointed once. My sister joined for a lunch and she was so excited to see the tea sets they have for sale in store. There are so many gorgeous little porcelain sets. Great for gifts and collectibles and tea parties.

Loose Teas has a fantastic selection of very fresh teas. Since the tea is packed loose, it is not ground into a powder or very fine like teabags often are. They have seating both outside and inside. They serve delicious sandwiches.

Located in the shopping mall in Monrovia with a Trader Joes, Kohls, a Chilis, and Panera, the Loose Teas has an excellent variety of teas to buy in bulk. They make fresh brewed teas to drink on the premises along with very good, generously filled sandwiches or salads. If you like London Fog they make the best weve had.

I have frequented this business for over a year now and have to give them 5 stars, more if I could. The owners are very kind, helpful, patient and willing to answer any questions you may have. They have a huge selection of teas and other drinks to choose from and their food is equally as delicious. They are willing to go the extra mile for their customers and thats a rare find these days. I highly recommend stopping by and having a cup of tea and more.

I love this place I come here every weekend my favorite is the jasmine white tea and the tuna all the way sand which ,I play power-ball here once a week very beautiful peaceful environment the employees are the best

The Loose Teas Cafe is such a great spot here in Southern California. Not many tea cafes that do it like they do. Simple and welcoming. Enter and youre greeted by the tea wall sectioned by Black, Green, Mate, White, Herbal, and Rooibos. Right above it a directory of how to go about placing your order, real simple after your first time here. A big screen tv captures your attention while you wait for the tea to brew because here your tea isnt sitting out for minutes or hours ready to be poured, oh no. Here, they brew it on the spot, no fancy-shmancy devices or appliances, the good old fashioned way, let it steep and brew and its worth the wait because they know how to brew and care for tea to produce the notes of the tea consistently. Hot or cold I have enjoyed all the teas I have drank here. Having a place like this helps me transition from coffee to tea a lot easier and in a simple, cost-effective way (since they sell all the teas in bulk as well). Oh, and dont forget to look at all their mugs and kettles, you might find a nice gift for that tea lover in your life.

Can I just say, "LOVE THIS PLACE!" The drink selection is extensive and sweetener, milk type and ice can all be adjusted as the attentive owners always ask how we prefer our tea, or coffee even. The BEST CHAI I have tasted too!! They have a large selection of loose teas for purchase and the owners knowledge of tea is impressive! I have not bought tea bags from the market in over 3 years since coming here. Their shop has a nice selection of tea canisters, steepers, mugs and tea pots too in case you need an item or are looking for a gift.

I have been coming almost daily for over 10 years and it is the best... forget all the boba places. This is the real thing, each tea is steeped, not made in batches. This place is for the real tea connoissseur.

Went here every week for a year when I was living with my grandma. I have gone so often that when I call in or show up they recognize me and remember my favorite drink order even if I haven’t been in months. I absolutely love them!

Amazing for hot days! Cheap SUPER size iced drinks size for loose tea!! $5.75ish! Also located in plaza with Trader Joes to shop before coming here for a drink to go.

Im always loving the iced teas I order here. Their sandwiches are really nice for lunch, too. The service is friendly and quick. Its a small business and not a chain, so I tend to come here more often than other boba shops.

Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Helped me out with picking out a tea flavor for me. Price was decent too. Very clean place. You can buy tea plants and tea sets as well. I got a 4oz English tea leaves. They have bigger sizes as well.

It was my first time going with my beloved and at first we thought it was just a spot with teas (given the namebut they have deli food as well. We ordered a sandwich and a panini from the menu and the portions were amazingly big. We thought they were going to be smaller sandwiches and paninis but we were wrong. They also come with a side (salad or pastabut the thing is the wait time can be a little long but worth the wait. We will definitely be going back, it has a comfy environment filled with mugs and they have tea flavor samples of the day. I would recommend if you are around the area.

Best tea in the area, and their sandwiches are great too (try the flaming bird). Check out their wall of teas if you want to try something new, its pretty nuts how many different types they have.

Their Thai Tea is right on every time. My daughter gets it with the Boba and loves it as well.

Owner(?really knows a lot about tea and wants you to have a great/flavourful tea drinking experience. Lots of plant based milk options too. I loved my iced mango green tea with boba :-)

Really decent prices for a great variety of twas. They literally have everything for your mood, time of day, or sweet tooth. They work their butts off and it shows. This place is clean, everything is served fast, and they make sure youre happy with your order. Its a great place to be to avoid the heat, and catch a view of the mountains. I totally recommend this place.

Best Organic loose leaf teas I have ever had. Top notch quality!Only down side is the speed of service. They seem to be as unorganized as they were 5+ years ago when I first started going there. I dont understand how it can take more than 5 minutes to bag a lb of tea.

So cute! My husband and I enjoyed this small and cozy tea place. 🙌 The Matchacchino is perfect! The Chicken Provolone panini is simple but with flavor. The staff encouraged us to try their free samples of the seasonal loose teas and very helpful with what was included in menu items. Thank you!

The lady owner was very nice and helpful. Its a nice place to have a snack and a drink and to hangout. Bought a set of tea pot and cups. I super live thesoursop black tea I bought feom them...such a treat. My 6 year old got to play with their little girl.

Im lactose intolerant and many places that arent starbucks dont make blended ice coffee using dairy free products, but this place does. Not only is it my favorite place for coffee and tea, the owner and staff are always so friendly to me. Plus they remember my usual order! Whats better than that? Haha (And they taste much better than starbucks)

they have teas to sample next to the register. that was nice to be able to try a flavor or two before purchasing. i hope to come back and try some other options. i would suggest stopping by and trying the hot and iced coffee options

Only place Ive found that brews the tea! All the others use powder. Love it! !!!! Best tea ever! So much variety too!

Im giving them one star based on rhe fact that I was charged extra for getting my milk teas without ice. In my entire life Ive never seen anyone charge extra for requesting to have your drinks with no ice. The reason we asked for no ice is because we are sick with a cold. I used the money for the tip instead to pay for the extra no ice charge.

Its sort of unreal how much I love this place. Great sandwiches, excellent iced tea with boba, and their loose teas are reasonably priced for how great they are! Also they sell the brewing contraptions that they use for iced tea, so you can actually recreate the experience at home. Five stars for sure!

It great experiences, tasting all food plus it healthy. Wish the place were open longer like Starbucks or other cafe closed 2am.. It great place to enjoy and listen to music. It great for kids to try something that they never try in million year..

One of the finest tea shops in the L.A. area and the best i have been to in the San Gabriel valley. It is a part of the tea room directory as one of the top 5% rated tea shops. The quality of the tea at this store is much better then you will fined at the more well know chains where teas can be purchased. Instead of focusing on Random odd flavors that many shops do, they focus on balanced flavors and highest quality ingredients of classic teas. They also have excellent sandwiches for those looking to get some food as well. I cannot recommend this place more highly to tea lovers.

Friendly staff and excellent selection of teas. Their food is good for a quick bite as well though the salads are a bit pricey if you include chicken.

I cant say anything to knock this place. Very courteous staff, so friendly. I had the Flaming Bird which was delicious. Turkey, avocado, sprouts, tomato all things amazing. The Four Berry smoothie was awesome. Great place to stop and have a quick lunch. And did I mention the ridiculous amount of tea to choose from.

After doing some business in the area, I stopped for a quick bite before hitting the rush hour hassle home. This pleasant little cafe was a very refreshing break with a wonderfully, cheerful staff. After eating their delicious veggie panini with salad and washing it down with a yummy smoothie and some tea, my late lunch put a relaxing smile on my face throughout my commute home. Thanks Loose Teas, Ill be back soon to try more of your yummy fare and nice atmosphere.

This place is amazing! I just recently discovered loose leaf teas, and found this place on a Google search. The store is very clean and modern, but at the same time warm and friendly. The staff were very enthusiastic and eager to answer any questions. They have a great variety of teas. The teas are very fresh, high quality (organic), and sold by weight, they are not pre-packaged. The prices were higher than I was expecting, but still affordable, it is worth it for the quality of the products. I recommend this place to anyone looking for great organic tea.
