The server (Emmanueltried do flirt with us, we are 16!! He offered to give us free alcohol, even though we already told him our age. And he offered to give us a discount of €20 if we left a good review. He didn’t keep his promise, and he yelled at us (16 year old girlswhen we didn’t want to pay the whole price. And when we later checked the bill, we saw that he charged us too much, an entire menu!!!! NEVER GO HERE!

Stay away from this place, we have been mistreated so badly. No communication, no interest in clients, many empty tables and we were ignored for 25 minutes - we simply left. Do not hope to get any food there

Lovely little restaurant with great service! The host will try his best to serve you in time. You will get the classic portion in Italy. So do not expect an American overloaded breakfast. However, I Can highly recommend. Coffee is great as well.

I’ve never been treated this terribly in a restaurant before. I’ve been to this restaurant many times and usually deal with the owner who is kind, but today there was a waitress who was the most aggressive human being I’ve ever had the unfortune of meeting. We waited for over 2 hours for our food and didn’t even receive half of it. The half we did receive was an incorrect order. Eventually we had an appointment and stated we had to go and we couldn’t wait anymore. We waited for 2 hours for a cappuccino which we never received. Other clients got up with the same frustration and proceeded to leave. To which the lady started wanting to charge us for the food we didn’t receive. I had reminded her for the food over the course of two hours several times and she never brought it. She also started to increase the prices of the dishes from the price on the menu. She started slamming plates on the counter. And proceeded to stand in my face and scream at me. Eventually we paid for the food (without the workers giving us a receipt after we asked-which is grounds for a fine in Italy). However the workers didn’t stop there as the chef thought it was appropriate to throw the change at us, with the intention for it to hit us. I can’t understand how a worker thinks it’s okay to scream, slam tables, and throw things at client, etc. The workers were so violent and aggressive I genuinely didn’t feel safe and considering they were throwing items at me that was assault and I was in-fact not safe.

Non stop harassment, disrespect, and assault after waiting 2 hrs for our food. They tried to make us pay for food we never received. After paying they threw a coin at us. We will report to the authorities

Our preferred place to have family breakfast during our stay. Staff is very polite and willing to assist. Many thanks to them for their hospitality

Had the Loft Meat Panini and it was incredible. My wife had the Greek yogurt with mixed fruit and it was equally tasty. Coffee was delicious, great little spot with good vibes and music.

The cutest and most quaint spot for breakfast! The decor and overall atmosphere at The Loft is so calming and aesthetically pleasing. Every dish is tasty and visually appealing upon arrival to your table. I frequented here during my semester-long study abroad experience and cannot recommend it enough!

A truly hidden gem not far from the Vatican. It’s not a huge place but the selection of food is amazing and good value for money.

Came here for brunch on our last day in Rome, and what an incredible find. Starting with the coffee, it was delicious. We had both an espresso and a cappuccino, twice. Then the English breakfast, the waffle and the chicken bagel also delicious. We finished it with a soufflé and that too was amazing. The service was on point and extremely friendly. Loved the whole experience.I don’t comment often, but I felt this was a huge find in Rome near the Vatican.

There is a lot going on around the Vatican, and this is the perfect little gem for sitting down and enjoying amazing food, a nice table, and good vibes. The service was amazing and the food was flawless for our group. I highly recommend this place!

The food and service was outstanding!

Good place for breakfast. They have nice coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. The prices are fair. We had to wait for a bit for our bill but there was only one server and he was very busy. We would recommend this place to others.

We were so fortunate to stumble across this cafe when we visited the Vatican. It was awesome. Food to die for, service excellent and spotlessly clean.Although we were in a Hotel on the other side of town we visited The Loft every week for three weeks. Its that good. The best cheesecake we have ever tasted. It is definitely worth a visit.

Best breakfast place near the Vatican City, highly recommend it!!The food is delicious, the customer service is excellent and the establishment is very cozy and clean. The loft has a wonderful atmosphere throughout the entire day but it’s amazingly friendly and charismatic staff is what makes the experience so enjoyable.This is a definite must go when in Rome.

We stopped in here before our Vatican tour to have a quick lunch. My husband got the some sort of ham sandwich while I asked our waitress to surprise me with something classically Italian. She brought me a porchetta and cheese with some sun dried tomatoes (I think!). It was fantastic! It was like an Italian version of a Cuban sandwich which is one of my favorite things in the whole world. We had agreed to share beforehand and husbands sandwich was also very good, fresh and light with cold lettuce, but I was so sad to have to give up my other half :The bread was perfect on both sandwiches. You should definitely try this place if youre in the area.

Very good food this morning. The waffle is what I had and the Salmon and Bagel w/ freshly squeezed orange juice. My wife had a Cafe Latte and the ham and cheese on toast. It was all very good and the staff was very friendly and kind to us Americans. Thank you for this great experience at The Loft!

+Tasty breakfast, great decoration, good prices perfect quality, and nice service.- it was cold inside, and no power outlets to charge phones, only usb ones. With 2021 phones, usb outlets needs 2 to 3 hours to fully charge a phone 🤷🏻‍♂️

This place is a must visit for a quick bite not so far from Musei Vaticani. They have a wide selection on their menu, but the very best are the sandwiches. We had one porchetta sandwich and one chicken bagel. The bagel was okay, not bad, but the porchetta sandwich was super tasty. Even the coffee at the end was up to the level. Will definitly re-visit this place 👍

Very Very bad coffee. You might think "This is Italy, how bad a coffee can be" believe me, it can just as bad as it is in Germany. So skip. Spend some minutes looking for a nice place, it is worth it. Bad coffee, go away from here now.

We found this gem by chance! I cannot wait to eat here again. We had excellent Panini and capped our lunch off with an amazing chocolate tort. So light and chocolatey.

Breakfast waffle was delicious. I saw another comment that said the portions are small, but the breakfast comes with orange juice included. As an American, it definitely filled me up. Would definitely come again.

Cappuccinos were extremely good and the service was even better. If your in the neighborhood, make sure to stop by. Their waffles with Nutella were delicious.
