The Living Room in Bangkok

Excellent place for jazz music on Thurs, Fri and Sat dinner. Theres brunch jazz on Sunday as well. Wide selection of good and drinks. Place is located 2 levels above the ground level or 1 level above the BTS skywalk.

The surrounding is perfect, seafood and dessert is highly recommended. As for meats, is just ok. The price for adult is 2600baht and for kid is 1400 baht, and don’t forget service and vat charge. Probably each adult will be 2000baht.

Was there for Sunday Brunch free flow. Very nice. But of course pricy.

Friendly service and peaceful atmosphere. The food was all okay, nothing standout. However, considering the fact that it is a lot cheaper than other hotels high tea sets, especially when getting a discount, it was not a bad experience at all.

I have stayed in Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit for 3 weeks. Despite without the club lounge, it has The Living Room and it has well exceeded my expectations. Love this place, food, the drinks and hors doeuvres are Awesome, above all, the staff is Awesomely Wonderful. The staff is led by K. Nit (Benalong with her wonderful team, K. Nok, K. Jin, K. Bia, K. Min and everyone. In the evening, the Living Room also offers wonderful live jazz music, and every thing is just Awesomely Wonderful krub 🙏🙏

Great place for cool jazz in Bangkok. It is in Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit hitel a Luxury collection of Marriott chain. There is complementary grubs during happy hours befire 8 pm. Occasional invited famous jazz from overseas appearance for a periond of few weeks also. The service is impecable.

Lovely bar with fantastic live jazz. Unfortunately, it took me years to realize that there was live music nightly. Highly recommended. Though, to be honest, its hard to believe that there is only a curtain between this bar and the rest of the lobby area. Loud music often obstructs the jazz if you sit far from the stage.

A Sheraton luxury hotel in the center of Bangkok Excellent, top class hotel. The library is a luxury lounge with Jass music for Sunday brunch. Excellent food and service.

Free flow prosecco, no complaints. Food was good, portions proportional to price. The manager was extremely polite, her staff not so much - hence the drop of one star.

One of my favourite places - anywhere. A great jazz bar in a five-star hotel. Super-convenient because there is direct access to the Sky Train. Music is world class if you go at the right time. Staff are great!

Nice cosy seating to have a light bite to eat and have coffee. Fairly decent variety of sandwiches and meals on the menu. A little pricey but portions are sizeable. Tried the cod fillet burger which is surprisingly good. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Sunday jazzy brunch is greater than what I expected! Though the hotel looks a little old from the outside, they did a great job renovating it inside and the food is terrific! I have experience many brunches from several hotels before but this one is the best so far. Good ingredients and so many lines of food to choose from.

Came here for Sunday jazz brunch, price was around 3000 THB. ++ per person, variety of food, specially desert, start from 12.00 till 15.00 full with seafood, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian food, but not fulfil food if it running out.

It is not as bright as it looks in the picture lol. Dark, cosy and great jazz music. The circular room makes it easy to view the stage and the resident band, the Randy Cannon Group, plays superb stuff (and sometimes, originalstuff. I love the unique cocktails and the excellent service as well.

The Living Room is the PERFECT place for a quiet meeting or for coffee / tea. Just note that on weekends they have a big brunch there so it can get loud.

Nice place if you like to lounge around. The musicians are fabulous but I felt that it was too loud (noise level). I would have enjoyed music a lot more were the decibel level was lower. Food choice was really good. I ordered a Thai curry that was served with steamed jasmine rice. The food got to the table really quickly and it was delicious.

Classic setting, luxury of older time, but still nice and comfortable, drink list ok, very relaxing music after dinner, like it, will return!

I love the band esp the pianist was great. The ambiance so jazzy and the service with a sweet smile. I will definitely come back when I am in Bangkok again.

A big thank you to Craig and his wife and staff, everything from a room to a quick drink, good honest food both Thai and English. So if you want great food in a clean and comfortable setting with great hosts and staff, you want the living room in Karon.

Chatanra is the sweetest and most helpful waitress ever. My dad told her my birthday was coming up and she was kind enough to surprise me with a little chocolate box as a gift for my birthday without my father requesting it.In addition to this, everyone on staff was kind and very accommodating and dedicated. Would recommend to anyone. Plus the food is delicious and entertainment is very relaxing.

One of most recommended place in Sheraton Grande Skhumvit hotel. You can enjoy the chill jazz music during 5 to 9 p.m. Platinum member(now the Elite name was changed to Titanium member like thatand Suite room guests can enjoy the free-flow that time including beer, wine and cocktail(Martini and Tom-yang Cocktail recommended). After 9 p.m the curtain is closed, and the jam session is held during night time. It will be totally different experiences for you to enjoy the jazz music.

Its all in one living room, luxury, relaxing.And the best of all, The Living Room here has the best acoustic design for listening jazz music, the best sound over all of other jazz pubs in Thailand.

Its s hotel restaurant. Pretty decent. Music was way too loud to have a dinner conversation. Some food was a bit too spicy, so make sure to tell them no spice if you want just a little spice in your food. Staff was fantastic. LOL!

Awesome place for a cocktail. I would especially recommend their manhattan and their in house signature thai cocktail (forgot the namewhich has a KICK! The fingerfood is tasty and the overall ambience is chill. Came here 3 times during our BKK trip this year.

Visit there for jazz music, and really enjoyed it. I saw some commented its pricy, but I think the price is affordable considering the food, drink, music and atmosphere.

Cool Jazz venue, great even if you don’t know anything about Jazz, lovely staff and friendly service. You can order food from any of restaurants in the hotel too, one of the BKK must do’s.

I went with a group of friends to try the sunday all-you-can eat brunch. Great selection of delicious food and which was very high quality. They had western, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and thai food. I was impressed with the cheese and dessert tables as well. Service was great and my friends enjoyed the free flow drinks. They had a good jazz band playing and the singer had an amazing voice.

What a great night! Superb Thai food, great band and friendly, efficient service. My only criticism is that the cocktail barman needs to learn to shake in time to the music!

Great place for jazz in Bangkok. While living in Bangkok for two years we quickly became regulars on Friday or Saturday nights. Sometimes we would eat dinner and sometimes we would just had drinks. For food, the staff will get you food from any of the restaurants in the Grand Sheraton Hotel. This allows you to have a great meal while listening to fantastic jazz. The Randy Cannon Jazz Band will host different lead singers throughout the year. Ocassionally they will also bring Steve Cannon, Randys brother to play trumpet with them. What a treat!Now that we have moved to Germany, we miss going to the Living Room to listen to wonderful jazz.

Definitely recommend to who love jazz or anyone who wants to have a fantastic night w/friends, lovers or by oneself.This place made my day. The staff were so nice and lovely, the cocktail was just good (try Bloody Mary!and The Randy Cannnon Group.. Their playing was AWESOME. Thank you for the music!I left my heart in Bangkok, specially in The Living Room.

I loved the band but there were some guys talking so loud and hotel just couldnt handle them.i can see how people felt uncomfortable. It was hard to concentrate to music.

Good jazz with a great bar in the middle of Bangkok. Love the surreal feeling of classy jazz with the sky trains passing by outside. Book in advance to get a table.
