Spicy rice with my chicken baskets is always only like warm, soon goes cold!!

Really nice food, great price too and good portion sizes. Was serve fast as well no long waiting times and friendly waiting staff. Been a few years since Id eaten here and it had gone down hill but it was my sons 25th birthday so thought Id give it a go and was really pleased. Will def be back again.

Dark, busy, service quick, enjoyed food. Table and menus very sticky.

A hour n 45 mins for a burger and chip it was busy so probably slipped up somewhere apart from that its a lovely place to eat

We are regulars and always find staff friendly. The food is always good and reasonably priced

Fairly good value for money, atmosphere suffers without an entertainment license for music. Great food menu, plenty of choice. Refillable hot drinks for 99p

The place smelt of urine.. and the food was cold services by staff that didnt care.. keep away its cheap for a reason..

Bit rough round the edges but staff lovely.

One of the last decent pubs in town. Nice when not too busy, all on one level and nice not to be deafened by thumping music for once. Good value on beers especially Brewdog Punk IPA! Dont like sitting in outside area as too many smokers.

Had to wait half a bour for breakfast arived cold and not very nice

Ordered online at table, service was great. Had lunch there which was quick and really good.The table could have been cleaner, needed wiping. Place was very busy.

Busy , traditional Wetherspoons. Know one you know them all.Helpful staff,,good vfm. Slightly dated Interior. It is what it is. Central to town. Good parking nearby.Use the app to order table service.£1.79 a pint of Worthington s ... Whats not to like.£1.29 all day coffee or tea !.

One of the best meals we have ever had from a wetherspoons pub. Will definitely go back next time Im that way

Always been OK despite location and often missing items from menu however tonight no joke tried for half an hour to order on the app as usual but gave up when everything was off menu. Went to Greene King instead.

A good example of a Wetherspoon pub. Seating area is pleasant and there are various interesting factoids on the walls about the local area. Food was good and the staff friendly. Not sampled any beer as yet so can’t comment on that aspect.

Asked the bar women if someone could clear the table as previous persons cups and glasses were on the table, said she would sort it she never did. Ordered steak they had none, ordered jacket potatoe they had none. Informed it was because of bank hol .

I went here on my birthday go for some Food and we all ordered what we want and payed for it then they came to tell us that we can’t have the food we PAID for and they wouldn’t give us a refund or a free desert and then the food my family orders had moldy chips and the meat we orders was unchewable it was the worst food I have ever had and the manger was very uncooperative and needs to look up the meaning of customer service cos she has none and I do not recommend going her because it is terrible!!!!

Its ok, friendly and helpful staff, clean tables but the food quality has gone down a bit

Overall its a nice place same as all witherspoon pubs. Ordered breakfast it came out quick but wasnt hot but you could eat it straight away. Didnt know they did free hot drink refills which was a nice surprise. Will go again.

Its a spoons so what do you expect ?Needed a meal for self and 2 older kids after 19:30 on a Sunday eve in Worksop ... I fancied a Balti but offspring wanted pub-grub ... so here we went ...Food and drink was good and quick and low cost (3 mains & drinks < £25 ... half what we paid elsewhere for pretty much identical meal night before...... service was excellent ... polite, prompt, helpful ....... and unintended floor-show was wonderful (3 retired working chaps at table but one over provided ongoing narrative on state of the world ... every 3rd word f###... ... every 6th a total c### ... most educational and grounding .... meanwhile pub quiz in back was hilarious ... "Which of these two colours mixed together make purple :Red, Green, Blue, Yellow?" ... only 2 out of 4 teams got that one correct ......Sincerely and seriously had an unexpected great time and would definitely go again for all aspects

Absolute value for money, breakfast is beautiful, we literally have so many meals here.The manager Courtney is amazing all the staff are very happy and friendly.The food is excellent value for money, good quality, really nice.Would recommend the smashed avocado muffin but without the coriander.All the main meals are lovely and the mini brownie desert with ice cream is incredible, has a great sense of community! Well done team! Especially courtney :)Stacey and Caz are also so happy, friendly and smiley.

Beer Garden very small pub about average great for bus station turn left 5mins.Staff good nothing else to add about this former Kwik Save building hope they find a way to expand beer garden but otherwise very convenient and does what it says on the tin😀

Look forward to a treat of week on Friday. Ham and eggs and couple pints of reasonable price beer. Moving soon so will have to find a new wetherspoons

Wetherspoons norm.Great surroundings ,brilliant service,clean comfortable and quiet.It sure means a lot.

Wanted to recognise the quick and professional behaviour of the staff after a gentleman fell over while we were there. First aid was on sight almost immediately and ambulance was called asap. All staff were incredible at keeping the gentleman and his party calm and informed. Best wishes to the man and I hope he makes a speedy recovery! Food was pretty good too as spoons go!

Best Wetherspoons for hot beans with my meal. Beats any other Wetherspoons. Nice atmosphere too.

Upset that the waitress wouldnt serve us breakfast at 11.33am after waiting in the queue for ages! Other than that it was ok.

You cant beat the value here. The beer choice is excellent and everyone weve met have been really nice. Including the door staff who deal with the unruly in a professional way. Great little place

Good size breakfast with plenty of seating. Easy way to order and staff were friendly and approachable. Food was brought out quickly and was hot so no complaints there.

The salad I had it wasnt fresh especially the chicken. I had diarrhoea after that. Theyre not aware that some people are drunk and shouting and theyre disturbing others. The fish is nice but the chips were dried...Ive just asked a staff (well I found out that shes the Manager herself woooow!! nicely to clean the table after she only took the plates and left 2 glass and a Dr pepper bottle which wasnt ours. The staff member answered very mean with a furious face fine okay this is so inappropriate. Im very disappointed!!!

Good selection of ales. You can now select a jug (glass with handlesto use to drink from. This pub didnt have these before.

We had not been to Weather spoons for quite a while. And had not been to this venue for. couple of years.We were here on Sat evening 3 Apr 2022. Given the state of inflation, we were surprised to see the changes in prices. Not in a good way.We ordered food & must say that we were totally underwhelmed with the fish & chips at £5.99. The presentation was appalling, no garnish, no pride. And it did look like & probably was direct from the microwave. Manage -& Chef whoever you are! Take a pride In what youre serving. Unfortunately this isnt just Weatherspoons its happening everywhere. Extremely poor

Really busy at lunch and staff were struggling to keep the tables cleared and cleaned. Not their fault it needs more staff during peak periods. Could do with a deep clean!

Been a patron for many years, cheap and cheerful but always consistent quality food and drink. Great choice of both. Cant fault it and would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Staff always friendly here. Can get a little busy at times and wait times for service can extend. But its a spoons in a big town to be expected.Maybe some extra staff in the busy periods and would be a 5* rating.

Standard Wetherspoons affair, with a nice outdoor seating area.Friendly staff, good quality reasonably priced food and a good range of decent drinks, including Leffe on tap.

Had to come into town early so decided to have breakfast here, save cooking. Had traditional breakfast two rashers bacon, two hash browns, 1 fried egg, sausage beans and slice of toast with a pat of butter for £3.95. Was served within a few minutes nice and hot and well presented. The staff are cheerful and pleasant to talk to.

Have been to this pub before and had no issues they do serve some decent beers however on New Year’s Day me and a friend decided to finish our evening by going into town and visiting The Liquorice Gardens for a few more beers. Upon getting out of the taxi and approaching the door the bouncer told us we could not go in “because of the way we got out of the taxi” when we challenged the bouncer on his decision he decided to get in my friends face asking if he wanted trouble and screaming at him. He then got his colleague to come out who was boasting of the fact he was recording the situation on a chest cam. Appalling treatment by the bouncer’s some of the worst I’ve encountered on a night out.

I have to say I really enjoyed my fish and scampi. It was all cooked to perfection. The scampi was whole tail with no funky bits at all. The cook certainly knows their business. All the staff were cheerful too.Would have paid much more at a chippy for less.

Called for breakfast today..23/7/21. I had the large,my wife had the smaller one..it was very nice,and we didnt leave a thing..we had 2 mugs of tea as after paying 99p for the first,all refills are for free.. "WOW" the whole thing cost us just £10.69.realy enjoyed the whole experience..friendly efficient staff and good food..will call again for certain.👌❤️
