Cracking bar well worth a visit

Had a booking for a Saturday evening, when arrived was told to sit where we wanted as was pretty empty. To be later told we had to move.We was told someone would be over to take our drinks order, 10 minutes we waited before going to the bar ourselves.Toilets were an awful state.Giving 2 starts as cocktails were nice, and 1 bartender was really nice and welcoming on arrival.Wont be returning.

If you like good music and good cocktails, this is your place, period. Simply perfect

Nice pub was quite when I was there but it apparently only gets going after 12 midnight the stay open til 4am

This little gem rates in my top 10 for small tucked away bars in Manchester. The staff are legends! The music is rock n roll 60s/70s. The cocktails are sublime. Not only this but the place is spotless. Ill definitely be going there again.

Decent food options, good drinks selection, airy and comfortable seating. Table service pretty good although a little distant (doesnt bother me, better than overbearing)

Good little pub with a great outdoor heated smoking area. Toilets were all individual cubicles that were clean and tidy.

Really enjoyed the Rock brunch barbecue. The staff were attentive and really friendly. The music was fab as well. I would definitely recommend.

Still doing table service barcode drinks unless you have cash, and it took 20 minutes to get our drinks. Complete step back in time to lockdown nights out and it isolated the whole group from any fun

Great music but not the cleanest and after a table leg broke on us spilling all our drinks there seemed to be no genuine concern or offers to replace the spilt drinks which was a little disappointing, though we were leaving shortly after so not the end of the world. Also no choice of flavour on kettle chips either but it was 12am and they had looked to have been busy.

Fantastic evening for a friends 18th. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Great atmosphere.. would highly recommend.mend it

Visited this weekend with my wife. Extreme lack of social distancing/COVID measures in place (we were sat at a cramped table tucked in the corner within 2ft of a table full of lads out for a heavy drinking session), drinks took upwards of 15 minutes to arrive and it was incredibly loud. Not the experience I was expecting after reading so many positive reviews. Staff were friendly enough when delivering drinks but overall very disappointed by our experience.

This is bar is by far my fave little bar in Manchester.I have been coming here regularly for 3 years now and its definitely worth a visit. Great vibe, great staff and great music.You will struggle to have a bad night in this place.

Great place.It was our first visit.We booked a table online easy to do.The cocktails were amazing.The staff are so friendly as is the Manager who chatted to us outside.The service is fast and easy to order on the app.This was our first visit outside since covid.Thankyou all for a great night out.Will be back very soon.😁

Good for a swift one before moving onto nicer places in town. A bit of a bland place lacking atmosphere and full of lads and ladettes mostly. The barmen are the only aspect that shines in the venue.

Nice, small bar. Friendly bar staff. Town prices as usual. Good choice of beers, wines and cocktails. Good seating arrangements. Only downside is the place its pretty cold inside, so, ladies keep your coats on! 🧥

Not a big place, but not too crowded for a Friday night either. The music playlist was eclectic to say the least but that was fine by me. Bar staff were very attentive and fast. Also the double your bar tab was a great offer. Would definitely go again!

Great cocktails! Recommend getting a Walking Dead to share or a Pour Some Sugar. All the drinks are music themed and they have a great selection.Can be busy and the music can be a little loud but is overall a great spot.

Best bar in town! We always come here in big groups and use the double you bar tab deal. We always have a great night here, the bar staff are great, its not overcrowded so you cant move anywhere, just an all around great bar 😀

A great little bar just off Deansgate. The cocktails are really good and great value during happy hour. The decour is nice with plenty of music memorabilia on the walls

Went to the Liquor Store using a gin experience voucher.Had a great time sampling an array of gins, learnt about the history of the drink and completed the whole experience by being shown how and then mixing our own gin cocktails!! Well worth the visit.Would definitely visit this bar the next time were in Manchester.

This bar is average at best. Also their cocktails are cheaper until 8pm. I’d been in there since 7:45 talking to the bar man about the cocktails and made my choice. There wasn’t anybody else at the bar and it was very quiet in there. After he’d spent much time making the cocktail (very pretty cocktail might I addhe tilled it in and it 8:02 and said I’d have to pay full price and there was nothing he could do. It’s not about the money, it’s the principle. He could have just tilled it in knowing it would go up and it was going to take a while to make. There was literally nobody in there. Its not like you could say it was packed and he was busy and didn’t realise. There was no apology and the manager said they can’t overide the till?? Left a very bad taste.

Fantastic place gin master class was awsome this was his first class knew not only the history of gin but also run and whisky. Defiantly went above and beyond. Also introduced us to 75% rum.

I read the great reviews. Walked a good bit to get to this "hidden gem." And then I was refused entry because...I was by myself?!Ive been to a few hundred bars and restaurants all over the world, and this is the first time I have been turned away.Whether they think all single men are a*holes or I was racially profiled (crowd seemed mostly white), either way it wasnt a good experience.Good alternatives: Town Hall Tavern, the Molly House, Veeno.

This is a great place. Every time I visit Manchester the liquor store is a must! Great staff, top atmosphere, good food. Nice and relaxing. Had a great time on the cocktail course a couple of years ago and have gone back ever since. ☺🍸🍷🍒

Great place, great staff, great music. Been a local there for a good couple of years. 555 deal cant be beaten! And being open til 3am EVERY DAY is definitely useful :)

I love this little bar, just behind Deansgate. It plays music from Manchester - always good for a boogie. The small number of reviews so far suggests that many people still haven’t discovered this gem, which has been pretty quiet when I have visited on Friday nights. The cocktails I have sampled have been fabulous and the bar staff are friendly. It’s much less pretentious than your typical Deansgate Bar. Please visit to make sure this place gets the recognition it deserves.

I absolutely love coming here. It is hidden from the main bars on Deansgate so it doesnt get too busy. The staff are amazing and the cocktails and drinks are at a high standard. They play a good music selection and I always have a good time in there. You will probably make some new friends in this bar.
