Real ales, pub fare and big-screen TV sport in homely spaces with Thai food served upstairs.
Lovely pup/thai restaurant in covent garden.
Great hidden gem. The Thai food was delicious and such a decent price for the location. Definitely recommend. Hubby said he could eat his dish 3 or 4 times over.
After a good time sightseeing in London we had arranged to meet a friend here. A small vibrant bar greeted us. Good selection of drinks were available. We went to our upstairs table and ordered our food and drink which were delivered by friendly efficient waitresses. The food was excellent, hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit here
A really great pub with some amazing character
Lovely place with variety of beers
Delicious 😋 Freshly cooked Thai food served in a contemporary tranquil bar🍸
A brief visit after watching the brilliant Pretty Woman at the Savoy with my daughters. Very crowded at this time on a Saturday night s took our drinks out into the street. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, a nice ending to a wonderful night out.
Very popular, very busy, very good Thai food 👍
Frequent visitor. Nice clean pub. Usually a little quieter than the neighbouring places and much nicer! Amazing Thai food, great ambiance, nice decor, and top bloke running the bar.
Great real ale, friendly staff and tasty good value Thai food so near to rip off covent garden!!
Went there for a Thai meal. Dont get me wrong, this isnt a restaurant, its a pub. Upstairs has couple or three basic tables. Having said that, the staff are really pleasant, with a genuine wish to please.Im told by our friends who we went with yesterday that the food is made in the Thai place two doors down and brought over. Not sure bout this, but the foods lovely, "one dish dinner" where you order a main and it comes with rice of your choice (unless you plump for a noodley dish). Each plate we had seemed plentiful for us all, and served nice and hot, especially the starters. We had: mix starters for 4; a Phad Thai, a garlic chicken something or other, a spicy chicken stir fry, and mine was a crispy fish with red curry. If I was going to be "negatively" critical, Id say I wished my sauce wasnt put on top of my "crispy" fish cuz it made it not very crispy. But flavours were great, portion size was great so I loved it. My wife & friends loved theirs too by sounds of it... Price? Starters & a mains each, 2 drinks each, for less than a ton... In central London... On FA Cup day... (well done Liverpool 👏🏼, condolences Chelsea 😏great little set up the Lemon Tree!
I coming here often almost every day for a pint, but my favourite is the Thai food is so tasty and I love it… definitely I will coming back often again after work with lads
Nice friendly bar .good beer
Nice pub for a pint. Good selection of beers. Wasnt there to eat, so cant comment on food
A nice place, food was good, beers are also good with a wide variety of local beers. It seems like a place that locals visit. When we were there, there was a group of people sitting and drinking in the middle of the day.
Nice pub and Thai food. Could do better seating area for diners.
Great pub with friendly staff, and very good Thai food!
Great Thai food but very small inside with odd seating arrangement downstairs
Brilliant pub. Friendly staff and great beer, which if drunk in sufficient quantity can make you fall over. Reasonably priced too.
One my fav Thai Restaurants. Its a hidden Jem near Covent garden. I would highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Sea Food on fire if you prefere something with more kick. Now that I have coeliac i cant have the pad Thai but they have quite a few gluten free options including the massam curry
Great service , wonderful atmosphere and an amazing pint of Guinness
Amazing Thai food, great pub atmosphere, lovely staff!
Great pub downstairs with great service & wide choice of drinks. Very nice Thai food too.
Fantastic find for pre theatre meal with very reasonable authentic Thai food. Delicious and will def make this a regular for when were in the west end.
Good back street boozer. A reasonably priced Thai menu.Good beers
Went for just drinks. Nice atmosphere and good selection of drinks / specials. Staff really chatty and nice.
Nice atmosphere. Good food. Friendly staff and tranquil, just yards from the overcrowded restaurants at Covent Garden.
2 main courses and 2 beers for less than £30 in Covent Garden - great service, lovely atmosphere and attentive staff behind the bar and tableside :)
Great little pub with a Thai food concession. Tasty dishes that offer amazing value for such a central location.
Nice little tucked-away pub. Good selection of not overpriced beer
Nice cosy pub just slightly off the main tourist trail . Good selection of beers . Harveys ! And gins
Nice pub... Didnt jave anything this time but in past did really great Thai. Curry.. Yum!!
What a lovely little pub. Clean safe nice drinks and food to die for. Will be back next time we are in London
The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly. A delightful restaurant perfect for a pre theatre meal.
The bartender was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. She explained everything on tap and recommended a great ale. Great place for drinks and to watch the match. There were outlets conveniently located to charge your phone. Nice location too. :)
My personal favourite pub of Covent Gardens, a relaxed and calm environment, small but strangely enough I preferred it so. Staff were lovely, only reason it isn’t 5/5 is that I haven’t tried the food or seen the “secret room” both of which I’ve heard are as entailing as each other
This is a lovely little pub, hidden away from the Covent garden tourists. It is at the stage door of the colosseum so does get busy. It has a small down stairs area and also a lesser know upstairs, so perfect for those quiet drink and a chat times. The Thai food is also excellent.
I love this little pub. Great range of drinks, and rather unusually, an excellent Thai menu. Super friendly staff too.
Always a go to favourite when in the West end.Usually jam packed and while the rugby on a great atmosphere.Weve sat up and downstairs but I prefer down as the atmospheres better. They serve food although Ive never tried it.Really nice bar staff. Weve always had a good time here.
Nice little pub tugged away at the back of the National Opera Theatre. It serves delicious looking Thai food and a range of nice beers on tap. It is quite small so it could get quite crammed at popular hours
Great pub with good food and great staff. Great selection of beers including Harveys. Also shows the rugby on relevant weekends. Great place to visit and one of my favourite pubs in London. Well worth a visitReview out of 5Selection of Beers: 5Quality of Beers: 5Ambiance: 4Staff: 5Food quality: 5Shows Rugby: YesBar Games: NoOpen Fire: NoTotal: 25/28 (Amazing Pub)
Lovely, small, out-of-the-way London pub near Covent Garden. Excellent (and surprisingThai food menu in a traditional London pub. Extra seating and tables upstairs. Visit frequently and always enjoy. The Mussaman curry is highly recommended!
Simply stumbled upon this little place. Got wine instead of beer. I just like this place! Small and cozy.
Reasonable prices but the quality of Thai food is pretty standard. It is better just to go for pub menu and a few drink.
This place was worth 3 stars alone for the fact they sell Kozel on tap (Czech beer). Ate two mains and shared a rice and the bill came to less than £15! Had to wait 10 minutes for a seat, but if you go there youll understand why (upstairs is tiny, but very nice and quiet). Pad Thai was the nicest Ive had outside of Thailand. Would highly recommend.
Popped in here for a swift drink before dinner and ended up having dinner there. The staff were friendly and the food tasted amazing! Best Thai curries Ive ever had. The drink prices were a little high but the food prices were really good value for money. Would highly recommend!
Quiter than some of the other pubs round the corner, popped in here and enjoyed a pleasant but a little expensive quick drink. The atmosphere though is nice and there were a few seats available - may well come back for the food.
Fairly small bar area downstairs, with a great map of London dominating one of the walls. When I visited Id booked one of the few tables upstairs for dinner which is a Thai restaurant. Food was pretty good, though not the best Thai Ive had, and they wont take orders for drinks, you have to go downstairs and order it yourself (though they will add it to your bill), which seems to be a rather strange arrangement.
Food: Im not a Thai food fan but was reluctantly dragged to The Lemon Tree, it turned out very well! The food was excellent, veggie versions of all dishes available (and cheaper, which is fair and refreshingand incredibly cheap for central London (about £6 for dinner)! Lovely service too.Drink: A nice selection of real beers, if you cant decide then you can take their 3 1/3 pints of different ale offer.Id been past this place many times but wont ignore it anymore!
I really like the pub / restaurant combination, good beer and really good Thai food. If you ask for very spicy youll actually be pleasantly surprised, it wont make you cry but it definitely isnt adapted for the "european taste". My colleagues also liked their dishes very much, an overall nice experience!
