It is very nice pub. we went for eating pie and tried pie with meat and spinach. Imho meat pie is more delicious 🤤 10/10 recommended

We stopped in here for a beer to get out of the rain and stayed for hours. Hilary was so great. Super friendly and the only person I will ever buy Rose from (it was amazing). We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Amsterdam. Thanks for everything. All the love ❤️

Hilary is lovey and kind and fun and entertaining. When we come back to Amsterdam, our first stop will be The Kiwi to see Hilary and have a glass of Rosè. Thank you Kiwi and most importantly, thank you Hilary!!

The female bartender was very rude and insulting. Immediately she called my girl a "silly cow" bc she didnt want a drink with a lot of calories. Then she proceeded to stir up a discussion about American politics with me and insulted me saying "I need to get off the media". Meanwhile she was name dropping every politician in America. She was very combative and aggressive and we just wanted a chill relaxing drink in Amsterdam. She was angry at life and it showed.

Asked for a paper receipt and the bartender said “No.” Then asked for a emailed receipt and she said “can’t do that not my problem” and walked away. Worst service I’ve received anywhere in the world. Don’t go here.

Finally found an NZ beer, best hops in the world. If youre a kiwi in the Netherlands you need to go.

Asked what steak pie comes with and the bar tender lady responds “a fork and a knife because this is a bar.”I love joking around but dude how is that my first impression of you and the bar. Very VERY sarcastic and condescending women.There’s a reason why that place was empty and Moeders right across the stress was packed.Lady, relax with the jokes and just answer the question. Learn some manners and be professional.I would’ve honestly stayed if you weren’t such a….well you know what.

Nice bar with some NZ elements, like the owner, some foods and elements around the bar. Cute young cat, big screen TV and Dutch, Belgium and NZ beers (Yeastie Boys!). Too bad there wasnt more choice from tap but I had a good time and a nice NZ pie!

Coming from NZ we had to stop and have a drink and a snack. Great little place :)

Friendly staff and great beer at fair price. We stayed a week in AMS and this was always our last beer of the day bar. We didnt skip it a day. Cozy place and kickass playlists in the background. Really recommend it.

Cozy bar with comfortable stools, very friendly, super hospitable, good quiet bar to get a drink in and take it easy for the evening or weekend afternoon.

Has a decent pie, nice little pub that plays rugby on the TV, the chicken curry we had was AMAZING

I had always wanted to go in here. I was attracted by what on eartha new zealand bar might actually be. I ordered a New Zealand beer and a toasty. It was a nice little touch at the end of my evening. They have a dartboard, show sports and the bar lady was very nice and full of chat. There were some locals in which is always nice. Ill definitely go back with some friends.

Lovely local pub, charming owner. Enjoyed good beer and lively conversations on several occasions. Televised football is big here and there are darts as well

The friendly bartender (maybe ownerwas from New Zealand and the theme in the bar is the same. Its a cool place. Also has some NZ beers.
