Came in for a drink and snack before an appointment in the area.One thing that will make me come back can be summarized in one word - NACHOS!I live, eat, breathe nachos - as long as they are on the menu, I will order them wherever I am. I ordered them here (with beefand they are absolutely incredible! The chips were freshly made (and did not taste like they just came out of a bag), the toppings were generous (not left with a half plate of plain nachos because all the toppings were already eaten), and all the flavours were amazing! No other nachos have ever made me feel so happy, satisfied and fulfilled!The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming which makes the experience even more pleasurable.If you are a nacho lover like I am, you MUST try them here!

We hosted our Engagement Party at the Lions Den in Kings Arms and we had a fantastic experience. Booking is easy, and the managers are extremely helpful in answering any questions and were very kind to help us figure out food and drink arrangements. They gave us an in-person tour of the upstairs so that we could plan where to put karaoke equipment, where the tables and decor would be, and where food would be served. This alleviated a lot of stress and pressure on the day of the event as everything was already figured out.On the day of the event, the bartenders and servers were incredible. Extremely friendly and excellent service, and food and drinks were all delicious and reasonably priced. We will be booking the Kings Arms again for upcoming events.

A nice British themed sports bar in Oakville with some good food and drink. I definitely recommend this place as you take in the scenic views of Lake Ontario.

We reserved a section (for 35 peopleon the main floor for a birthday celebration. The atmosphere was just what we were looking for. The staff, service, and food were great! Big shout out to Rob for accommodating us. The communication was professional and organized. The Kings Arms is definitely one of our go-to spots for a party event. 👍🏼

Great food, comfy vibe, and nice staff.The burger and NY Strip steak was excellent. The burger was fantastic- well cooked with great sauce and a crispy bun, and the steak was great- the sauce on top and parmesan truffle cheese fries made for a nice touch of earthy flavor. The wings we ordered as an appetizer were crispy and the sauce was good, but they didnt taste very fresh.The overall vibe was great, with good decor and lots of TVs, but it was very cold inside. They also have a patio which seems like a great place to go at night.Overall, a fantastic "gastropub".

Was personally refused service because an employee saw my friend consuming “vodka” off premises. It was not Vodka, not even close. We were both completely sober and able to drive. Had to Uber back home because no where else was open. Total waste of a night because an employee doesn’t know how to judge impairment nor do they remember their smart serve training. Refusing sober customers is an odd business practice.Edit After Owners Response:Consuming alcohol on a bus stop bench is no different than if it was around the street corner. This is why when you refuse service (as you should know from smart serve which I am trained inthat refusal is based off how visibly drunk the customer is. As a responsible business owner I find it odd you think a solution would to have open alcohol and consume it in the back of a vehicle. I have watched many of your customers get passed security stumbling and slurring their words in previous visits, yet when I went there was no security at the front to ID us, and as previously said, at that point we were okay to drive. Reading previous bad reviews its clear the owner has trouble taking negative reviews and handles them poorly when they feel they are in the right. Unless you have a written policy specifically against what your employee saw, you simply are wrong.

Last night was actually the first time I’ve been to this restaurant (other than to quickly scope it outand I hosted a 30th birthday event in the lions den, which is a private lounge on the second floor, and I can honestly say I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The lounge is equipped with its own bar and separate washrooms, and has a cool edgy look to it. The lions den was a comfortable size for my party of 30 people, and probably could have fit another 20 easily. Rob the owner is a beauty and accommodated all our requests, and made a point to check in several times throughout the night to make sure everything was running smoothly. The staff were very friendly and super attentive from the moment we arrived, and we honestly had so much fun we stayed right until close.Also, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Rob sent me a list of party platters I could order in advance, and I chose a meat and cheese platter, veggie platter, vegetable spring rolls, chicken tacos and pulled pork sliders. I was blown away by the quality of the food and my friends have been raving about it ever since. The tacos and sliders were a fan favourite.If you’re looking for a spot to host a private event where you can mingle with your people, this is it. Rob and his team really exceeded my expectations and I look forward to booking events with them in the future.

Ive been coming with my family+ for almost 20 yearsGreat mix of high and low tables through the restaurant. Even when tables are reserved, its done so you still have great seating options.Patio is comfortable and private. Shady-ish in summer and heaters in the winter. Song playlist is good for everyone. Came here earlier tonight. All I can say is that the staff is very pleasant and welcoming. I love the vibe of the place itself. The food was literally AMAZING. I like how the food came fast & its a very appealing place. I plan to come here later on this week. The nachoes are so good. And so are the calamari and the chicken. I highly recommend.

Pretty much the only lively bar in Oakville which is why everyone keeps coming back. Great selection of beer, and their cocktails are yummy. However, the food isn’t really that great. Kinda disappointed by their meals each time I go. Still, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always fun.

WE were looking for YELLOW BELLY CHICKEN, which is located INSIDE THIS TAVERN- The Kings Arms of OAKVILLE... We were pleasantly surprised to dine inside A TAVERN, A PUB, A PLACE where drinking alcohol/ beer/ hard liquor is the main feature. My sister was most excited, thrilled by the UPSCALE, COSY, WARM, FRIENDLY, BRITISH vibe inside the Tarven. ... The Chicken is above average. The massive tray of NACHOS (vegetarian- with GUACAMOLE instead of MEAT),CAN$ 20, was the BEST NACHOS I have ever eaten... I ate more than half of that massive tray, I think! .... We enjoyed the APPLE JUICE (no alcoholand somehow, the kid and the sister found the JUICE so incredibly good. I suspect their DELIGHT, their THRILL to dine inside this wonderful Tavern had something to do with THAT. ... The staff is amazing, they were probably equally thrilled to see us so in awe of the experience. WE WILL come back here again, in the near future.... SO LONG CANADA... SO LONG the wonderful CANADIAN ... WE LOVE YOU .... PS.... The neighborhood around this Tavern in OAKVILLE, ON, Canada is just beautiful. The kitchen was closed but the manger was nice enough to still get me some fries, very easy to talk to and the waitresses are easy on the eyes. Thank you Brodie!

The service was good, the food was tasty, and the drinks were creative and delicious.My only complaints are that it is not handicap accessible. The bathrooms are downstairs and there are steps to get in the front door Also, the music was very loud

This place is a new favourite of mine! The service is so nice and their array of drinks is amazing. My personal favourite is the hot girl summer, it’s a perfect blend of vodka, rum, gin and schnapps to make a flavour explosion that is yummy to anyone who try’s it! People who work here Maniaha and Ellie make the place a go to.

Great spot! A self proclaimed Oakville institution; and I can see why. Great service, great choice of drinks and amazing food! Lots of chicken choices! The fried chicken sandwich was out of this world! The coleslaw, slaw and pickle in perfect proportion. The Caesars were creative and delicious. Definitely worth coming back to.

It has best nachos ever! Guacamole and beef nachos my fav. I love this place, they have delicious meals except burger🫣we love the location as well, my husband and I usually prefer to go there in weekdays.

Yesterday we attended a function at the Kings Arms in Oakville. It was held in the private room upstairs. The room was beautiful and the staff and service were excellent.The staff really went above and beyond to give us an amazing experience (thanks to Richard and Brittany the fantastic bartenders!)Food was also excellent!! Will definitely come back.If you ever need to hold a small private function this room is a gem!!

We had such a nice meal and great service at this restaurant. There was a nice ambience and the food was great. We had sliders, chicken wings and tuna tacos which we shared between us. Would definately come back again and would recommend to others.

Went here on Halloween weekend and had a blast. Met new and interesting friendly people. The service was great and the servers were personable and attentive. Was there for drinks and the DJ but will definitely go back to try the food as people I met there were raving about the eats 👍

Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Was nice and quiet and sat on the patio. Relaxing atmosphere and a great selection of food/drinks. Service was slow and not very attentive and the debit/credit card machine did not work outside. When I came here on a Friday night, the service much quicker and efficient. Would return here. The mac and cheese is sooo good.

Trying yet another pub in Oakville!Not too busy on a Sunday night. Families and friends gathering place based on who’s dining.Ordered Greek salad with shrimp and fish and chips. Standard fare with variety to please everyone.Nursed a Perfect Caesar while waiting for dinner... food took awhile to come out but it was all fresh hot and hit the spot.Friendly service with top up of your beverage too!

Great atmosphere, the staff is friendly and quick, they are very attentive to the items and details of them. They are also great at suggesting different drinks, and if you have a problem they are more than happy to try to solve your issue. They also play a great variety of great music. The interior atmosphere is awesome too, cool décor. The patio is great as its in a court yard and not next to traffic.
