The Kilkenny - Irish pub in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Irish pub...
It’s not so ok..The Guinness tasted like an amber IPA from… I am not sure where..Definitely not a Guinness..My wife enjoyed her Gin & Tonic tho..
The Kilkenny bar was the best Irish pub that I have ever known. It was created around 1998, during the 2000s had its own "golden age", after that due to some economic problems, it must to close. Now, I bet that no more than 15 days ago, re-open its doors to everyone and specially the people like me, that enjoy listening british or european bands. The ambient music in the room created a pleasant atmosphere. Very nice place set in classical irish pub, interesting people to know or whatever you want to do, based on these kinds of bars...Very recommend to go there, The kilkenny is still de best Irish pub to go and to share a nice moment...
Great bar with dance floor upstairs. Has good variety of drinks and beers. Downstairs is cozy, and upstairs (the dance flooryou have a bar and Latin music to dance.
Cool bar that is open late. Only ordered local beers, so not sure what else they serve.
It was food..would only go here again if i could not find something else. Had a chicken sandwich. Dry chewey chicken with cheese sauce and barely cooked bacon with cold French fries....
In fairness we went on a Monday but the barman/staff were terrible, I mean really bad! This is not becoming of an Irish bar as the service was extremely bad. Might be better on the busy/weekends but mid week was terrible.
No Guinness?! That will get you a bad rating from me!
The beer is great. The area not very nice. Try the burgers.
Good service, location, environment and food. Good prices too!
Good place for some beers and music
They dont have Manhattan the most of the times...
In this place you could lose your mind for good, en el tranvía del alcohol
Didn’t have Guinness, not very Irish. Techno music playing during the afternoon. Nice atmosphere though
No Guinness ... what the hell kind of Irish Pub does not have Guinness? Its like a Mexican restaurant without tacos ...
Outstanding service and good food 👌👍👏
Long time no see. It preserves the Irish atmosphere!
Really nice place for an after office. Its been ages since I last went there and it didnt loose the magic.
Well I guess with the not so great reviews saying it’s not truly an Irish ☘️ pub I can see why... bc if it was it would be open today!?! Happy St Patrick’s Day wherever you are☘️🍻🇮🇳☘️✈️☘️🍷☘️😁
The food was great not a fan of their drink making skills, so ordered bottled items all night
Good beer, fair prices, decent music. Place was a little bit too dark. Thats all.
Its a great place for a beer, it has a dancing place on top
Really good place to drink and party
Now its dirty. The staff is the worst
NOT an Irish pub! Maybe in the past because it has tons of Irish ale and whiskey sign and has the interior that says “once upon a time”. Not a drop of Irish brew, yet Guinness signs on the outside and inside. Not sure Guinness knows about this, but should know and care. So, not Irish. But, locals seem to like it as a bar and we saw plenty of young people come in after work and they all seemed to be having a good time. Just not Irish.....change the name and get rid of the Irish decor.
The food is less than standard.
I was there late around 2:00 am on a Friday night. The bar is a bit dark. There is dancing on the second floor until late.
Nice beers and picadita after hour
Good selection of beers, but not very cosy. I guess it goes for all pubs that the quality of your evening goes up if there are more people around, and it hadnt been very crowded when I was there
Basically empty with not great service
This Place has been closed permanently at this time W.E.F 11 September 17.
Service must improve. Hamburguer isnt so good.
cheap look but expensive prices. crappy after office experience.
Not the best food and not the best prices.
Great environment, but the worst beer in my life for exorbitant prices.
Not really any Irish food to choose from
Allwas a good choice for over 20 years
This is not an Irish pub. They do not have any Irish beer. They do not serve any Irish food. They do not play Irish music and I was there on St. Patricks Day. I asked them why they thought they were an Irish pub and they almost threw me out.
It used to be great to drink a great variety of good beers. Last tine I went they were out of stock for some beers.
Expensive, and the quality of both drinks and attention is really random.
Excelente happy hour"s
Yes it may be popular, but its expensive and dirty. Toilets? Go there if you really must, theyre awful and disgusting
Place is really popular, but its expensive, dirty and with bad attention.
Ok beer, very slow service ( even for local standards)
Great party location on Fridays. Below average place on the other days.Would not recommend the food (2 stars)
Wasnt open despite advertised opening hours
Popular irish themed pub on Downtown
Good place, except the loud music from the 1st floor.
Nice bar etc but only Irish in name. In reality more if a restaurant. Not likely to meet an english speaker there
I liked the vibes beer and djs music in this bar
