The Kildare Maze in Leixlip

Been here a few times. Your entry covers the tree maze, a smaller wooden maze, mini golf and the play area.Its only a small place but the tree maze should keep you busy for a while. The mini wooden maze has you searching for hidden numbers to stamp your card.The main downside is that the tree maze is well worn now and you can guess the route by the most worn path. Back when it was all grass, it would take a while to figure it out. Either reseeding the grass or putting in a base like bark would restore that. The mini golf is also in poor condition and could use a recovering.That said, the kids love it and weve always had a fun day out. Its not far, has on site parking (with expansion when its really busyand the costs are reasonable. Worth a visit if youve never been.

Wonderful value and great fun for a couple of hours. Staff were polite and helpful. Place was exceptionally clean.

We loved figuring out the maze, it only took us around an hour, great for a nice summer day

Mazes are always good idea and also great family fun. With almost 2 km of waking inside of the maze which makes it more fun for everyone, specially for small ones as they try to sneak under the bushes and make shortcuts 😊😉. In the center of the big maze theres a House in which you can observe panoramic view of surrounding area and also grab a look on people trying to find their way out. Playground in front for toddlers and bigger kids makes it great additional place to make them tired.Why it is 4☆, I will explain myself: we didnt came prepared for full day stay as we didnt bring any food only small snacks, and we stayed a bit longer as planed as it was so great to enjoy maze and also nice game of "Crazy Golf 9 🕳 holes" which is around maze, so we wanted to grab a bite of something but pizza which is served there is not served after 4pm and we didnt want to continue on sweets and snacks which are available to get there.That doesnt change the fact of neatness and cleanliness of the place and amenities around, it its 5☆.Thanks for fulfilled day.

Great fun with the kids at the maze and crazy golf included in the price. Theres a small cafe for tea,coffee,pizza and ice pops.Plenty of room to chill out on picnic benches. Play area quite small, theyve plenty of room to put in a much bigger playground with slides,swings etc so hopefully well see this in the future. All in all a good place to pass a couple of hours. Well definitely be back.

Nice place for a family fun-day with slightly challenging green maze and a relatively easier wooden maze plus mini golf challenge and play areas to keep the little ones busy..there are tables and chairs to eat and drink as well.

The hedge maze was good. Definitely more for the kids then adults though. The obstacle course and zip wire are for the kids too.

I wasnt overly impressed. The Maze sure is fun but I felt the rest of the place felt very dated. The mini golf was good, but again felt a little bit dated. The kids playground needs improving. Lots of potential but sadly falls short.

The maze was a real challenge for adults and there were other fun activities for the kids including mini golf, zip wire, sand pit, smaller maze and playground.

A great way to spend an hour or 2. The hedge maze was great fun. 5yr old loved the smaller wooden maze. The facilities were nice and clean. I thought it was good value for money.

Took my friend’s family to this place and we were 4 adults & 4 children ages from 1 yr to 7yrs old. It is ok place for a half a day picnic with the children and little joy with the wooden maze & golf for the kids. The green maze is absolutely confusing and we couldn’t find a way to the centre for almost half hour. But enjoyed as a whole. Reaching this place by car is bit of a travel through some narrow roads. Plenty of parking on the nearby field.

Its a very good place for fun even for adults. There is a picnic area indoors in case if its raining. There is a sand area, zip line and palyground, green maze, wood maze and crazy golf (9 holes). We loved that place definitely we will be back.

Great family day out, bring some snacks for in-between mazes and crazy golf! Good craic, will take about 2or 3 hours all in taking your time to do it 🤗

Had a fantastic morning here with my friend and our kids they loved the Mazes and the zip line and a picnic after b4 an ice cream and the way home .Super day ☀️😎

Went here with my 15yr old who thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty to do for all age ranges. Highly recommended for a bitnof family fun. Will be back with the rest of the gang one of these days.

Had fun wandering around the Maze! It might seem easy at the start but wait until you cant find the way to the tower after 15 minutes! The wooden Maze is quite fun as well, not as big but its a challenge to find all the stamps. Theres also crazy golf and a playground for smaller kids.

The place is great, but I was very disappointed that the staff did not let me charge my mobile phone, being a place far from the city, without public transport, me and my little one had a hard time getting back to Dublin. The staff should care more about the customers. Also there is a picnic area with several sockets on the walls and all without energy.

Great outdoors family fun. There are two big mazes, crazy golf, a zip line, and mini playground. It took us about 30 minutes to complete the big hedge maze, and maybe 15 minutes to do the smaller wooden maze. Kids really enjoyed it. Theres a small shop where you can get tea/coffee, sweets and ice-cream, and toilet facilities.

Went on school tour highly recommended this place for kids up to 10/11 years old..the two girls that looked after us were fantastic and they helped the kids whenever they asked... lovely place..

Wasnt too busy on a damp windy sunday but it was great afternoon for 3 generations of the family. Everyone can take part in a maze though very young may get scared if they get lost, as they will if they run off!

During the visit the weather didnt play with us, but still it was nice place to spend time with family. The place is well maintained and even adults have fun there.

What a fun day out with family. Went into the maze with our 8 year old and for a half hour so looped back and forth between the hedges trying to fund our way to the centre. It was drizzling on the day but this did not take away from the fun in the slightest. It was a great challenge for kids and grown ups alike. Something different to do and well within an hours drive of Dublin.

Nice place to spend a couple of hours with the kids. Facilities very clean staff very friendly. Lovely picnic areas to enjoy your own picnic. There are 2 mazes a smaller wooden one, and the hedge maze, the hedge maze is very good, not as easy find your way out as many think. Mini golf was good, but needs a bit of work.

Great fun for kids and families , a warm welcome 🤗 Coffee and teas station at entrance , the maze was brilliant fun hours of fun , the small maze with a mission, playground and play areas spotted around the site. crazy golf to finish it off , well worth the small fee for fun. I will definitely come back🙏

Spent a lovely Saturday afternoon there last week for my sons birthday, the kids loved it. Its a clean safe space they can run around in. Great value for the tickets and the Pizza is actually pretty good too! Just bring a coat, even on a sunny day its a windy exposed site and can feel really cold at the picnic area.

Great place to visit with kids. The Maze is crazy fun even for adults, be prepared to be lost and walk lots. You can bring your own food and they have spots where you can enjoy your picnic. Best on a bright sunny place 😊

Reasonable price, €8 adults. A small wooden maze in which you punch your card, sounds easy but I still missed one. A large hedge style maze made with connifer trees, is very difficult, so good value, just as I wanted to give up, I found the centre. Crazy golf included too. Picnic tables too.

It was entertained... weather permitting. Picnic facilities. Good activity for the family. If it rains... you better find your way to the center of the maze for shelter.

Lovely place to spend a few hours with the kids. Place kept really clean and staff are very friendly and helpful.2 mazes to have a go at, the hedge maze is big enough and you can easily get lost but lots of fun. The wooden maze is smaller and you have to find 8 stamps pinned to the wall and you stamp a card they give you at the entrance. If you find all the stamps you can enter s draw for a free family pass. Crazy golf is included in the entry fee but the only negative is the course could do with a bit of a regular clean. Lots of debris on each hole.Little play area with zip wire and a small agility course, a few farm animals around also. There is a decent picnic area where you can eat your own food or get snacks from the kiosk at the main entrance, you could also get a pizza here.All in all a nice little place.

Great fun for kids and parents! Easy to get lost in the maze, thats the idea I suppose! My advice, go left and try to get to the left corner and youll find it easier to navigate to the tower. 👍

Entrance cost is not too high. A very good complicated maze with a high Tower in the middle. Will keep the kids busy with sandcastle and zip line.. Theres provisions to buy ice cream. Parking for 30 cars. They only accept people in specific time slots.

The staff are lovely & friendly. The mazes were very well done. Took us ages to find Tower in the hedge maze. The mini golf was good fun, especially the tricker shots

The maze took me about 2.5 hrs. Just didnt want to give up. But there is a 3 hr slot and then I had to rush to do the wooden maze. So badly wanted to do the crazy golf but was asked to leave by 1 pm. Had booked the 10 am slot.There are picnic tables and sandboxes for kids. Zip lines and swings for kids. Ice cream etc. Just wish it was open all day for the price instead of 3 hrs.

Brilliant family outing.It seems simple enough, almost made it to the centre outpost after 5 mins till we realised it was a trick. Its all worth it though once you get to this view ....

Good spot all around and not too busy. They have a large play area with zip line and crazy golf. The maze is brilliant fun and has a great viewing area in the centre so you can direct those that get lost along the way. Only down side is that the putting greens are a bit dirty and dated, and the parking is a bit tight....especially with kids getting in and out of cars.

Great fun. The mazes were really well kept and a good challenge. We laughed all day. Lots to do. Very clean and tidy. Super value. A tremendous family day out. Highly recommend

This place is amazing value, we spent 7 hours here and it flew by. The big maze was so much fun and the small wooden one was great. We had six kids with us and no one got bored. There were so many activities and a big playground, a sandpit, a zip line. There was a lovely area for getting coffee and food. There is a mini golf area. The golf is better for older kids but our younger ones had fun trying.It was Halloween so there was a pumpkin carving activity in the shed area and it was well organised with huge pumpkins and templates for ideas.The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Brilliant day out for the family, especially for the kids. Safe and enclosed. Very clean toilets. Average fat over is between 2-4 hours.

What a great day out. We arrived on a Monday, it was pretty quiet, got a great chance to check out the place. 2 mazes, 2 playgrounds, some animals, crazy golf (very good), zip line included in price. Little shop on site. Mazes were great fun. Wooden maze has great game for children to play when finding their way around. Outdoor and indoor picnic areas, plenty of room for the kids. We brought 5 kids with us aged 9,8,6,5 and 3. All had a great time. Highly recommended.

This a great place for a family afternoon, the green maze is great fun trying to find the centre tower, with so many twists and turns and dead ends. There are great views from the top of the tower. Then the wooden maze is smaller but good fun too. You get a card to stamp all 8 squares. You have to find the stamps. Theres a playground, a sand pit and crazy golf too. Great fun

Great afternoons fun for the kids, good value for money too. The main maze is actually quite large, be prepared to spend over a half an hour getting to the platform in the middle, if youre lucky! The wooden maze is smaller but just as much fun as youll be hunting for punches to fill your card.
