Ordered two medium rare steaks. One of them came out entirely cold and red in the center (literally everything except the crust was bright red and cold). The server was really cool about it said he would have it cooked more and bring it back out. Then the culinary manager unnecessarily visited our booth to tell us basically that I shouldnt have ordered medium rare if i dont want it and then said I should cut into the steak to make sure its how I want it this time. Completely unnecessary interaction. Please keep your culinary manager back of house. She doesnt unnecessarily need to ruin an evening. Let the professional servers or front of house manager handle things.

Dinner was phenomenal. Started chatting with our server Natasha and she was exceptional.You should be proud over there. Will be back when I return to Regina!!!

I love this place!The food is wonderfull and the wait time was like 40 min but there where a lot of people so its understandable.I highly recommend to go here😃😙

So my husband and I are beginning random date nights and writing down restaurants we havent been to before and pick one outta a hat kinda thing... anyway last night was The Keg!!When we 1st got there we sat down and waited and no one came to see us, so we did walk out and were waiting for a cab (mind you we didnt know that the waitress was dealing with a large tableso the manager caught us outside just as the cab was about to arrive and offered us 2 free appies and 2 drinks and apologized about the situation.. well who can see no to free food lolSo we go inside and the staff were so amazing and were giving us recommendations and the server and manager were very attentive... just as we were about to go to another place the manager so saved our night and the server lolBut not only the service was amazing but that food was so delicious and most definitely the 1st of many trips back to The Keg, specially at this location 🤤❤️🤤

Had reservations for 5:30 with my family on fathers day. Showed up and was told the tables where full and being cleaned. While waiting for 15 minutes I watched 3 other families come in after us and be seated right away without question.. very disappointing. Left because we did not feel welcome.

Excellent food and also a snack plate to keep the little ones happy. Love this place!

We went to this Keg Steakhouse south Regina. They took food allergies very seriously. They were professional and kind regarding taking extra steps to ensure no cross contamination and cleaning cooking areas. Your wallet will hate you, but the food here is on point. The staff is really nice and the washrooms are really clean.

Came in for a nice dinner date with another couple, unfortunately our experience was down right awful.The waiter started out evening off by pour water all over the floor and my dates leg.We ordered drinks and the waiter delivered Budweiser instead of Bud Light. Not a huge issue but not paying attention clearly.We ordered our appetizers and food at the same time. 15 minutes after we ordered the waiter came back to tell us one of the items we ordered wasnt available. So clearly he didnt ring in our order for 15 minutes. He expected us to have another option ready without a menu, had to ask for one to be brought back.When our food did finally arrive, it was all wrong. Every order. Cold fries on the one order. Two steaks on the wrong plates with the wrong toppings. A blue cheese steak minus the blue cheese. A medium rare steak that was cold in the middle. And every plate had vegetables that were barely cooked and cold.The waiter tried blaming the issues with food on the kitchen but when the bill shows it run in wrong, thats not the kitchens fault... All we got after all that was a empty apology with no discount or anything to make up for the nonstop issues.

Allergy friendly. Great service, great staff, a most enjoyable dining experience. We ordered a Neptune dish, and Prime Rib, and they were both outstanding. The food was delicious, fresh, and prepared to perfection. The warm bread appetizer was soooo good! Our server Grace was absolutely wonderful, and it was really nice to chat with Michael Angelo the manager, as well. I felt totally safe eating there with a severe peanut/nut/pea allergy, and was even spoiled with an amazing allergy safe creme brule for dessert!! A wonderful evening and meal at the Keg South Regina. Thank you so much!!

We had the worst experience ever at the Keg this evening. First our waiter, Dylan, poured water all over my shoes multiple times. He then messed up our drink order twice. When it came to ordering food he messed up each meal. Everything came to us wrong. Wrong food, wrong steak, wrong meals. Steak toppings were missed, fries were ice cold, gravy was brought instead of peppercorn sauce, blue cheese crust was missed (waiter blamed the kitchen for this error). My steak was supposed to be medium rare and it was blue rare.I have been physically violently sick from my meal. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Kitchen was a bit slow, but food was good and waiter was great.

I have been meaning to post a review since my family and I were there for supper last Saturday. We were out to celebrate my dad’s retirement and I had made reservations for a late supper time. Unfortunately, when we got there, I was told our table was not ready. Twenty minutes later and it was still not ready. We were a table of 8 with two kids and by then we were very hungry. I was getting disappointed because it was supposed to be a night of celebrating my dad and here he was waiting for a table. The host came to apologize and stated the manager would escort us to our table himself. The bar manager, Michael Angelo, came out, apologized, and escorted us to our table - ensuring us we would receive the best care. He even made sure my husband who is celiac was well taken care of. Angelo was right - we were well taken care of. And looking around at other tables, I know the service would still have been exceptional even if we didn’t have the issue with wait time. The servers and Angelo were very attentive and made sure my dad felt special. The best part was when they shook hands with my dad and congratulated him. My dad has lived his life being the nicest human being even when faced with rudeness. He was so surprised and happy with the hand shake and the attention around him. Thank you Angelo and staff for treating my dad and the rest of us with respect. We will definitely come here again.

Tonight was the best baseball steak I have ever had in ANY Keg in Canada we even sent a drink back for the chef it was that good!And our server Marylou served a great meal and wine perfectly

Exactly what a Keg in a prairie town should be. Food was predictable and conservative. I had the prime rib, my partner had tb baseball steak. Staff was helpful and curious. Was happy to see more vegetarian options than I remembered from previous years.

The staff went above and beyond to give me and my family a wonderful evening. We were travelling during the winter storm that had started on Nov. 11, and had to stop in Regina overnight before continuing on to attend a service for my sister-in-law in another town. We were tired, emotionally drained, and it was comforting to be taken such good care of by the Keg for one night before we had to continue on our travels for a very difficult time. I will never forget how the Keg made us feel that evening, and how wonderful the staff was. Thank you.

Had a great time having drinks and appetizers in the lounge. Service was fantastic - even had blue cheese stuffed olives for my martinis!

Michael Angelo was the bar manager and he made this visit one of the best experiences we have had. Our server was busy and he stepped in to help and was delightful, even offered us a delicious complimentary billy miner pie!

We have never had a bad meal at The Keg! The food is always perfect and the service is exceptional. Most recently we went for a family birthday and had Hannah as a server. She was very attentive, friendly and professional. Top notch service! We will be back soon :)

We had a wonderful experience at this location for my brother in law’s birthday dinner. Emily, our server, was very kind and accommodating and we shared numerous laughs throughout the evening. Emily and who appeared to be the manager had also provided us with a complimentary dessert in celebration of my brother in law’s birthday - a full slice of ice cream cake, not one of the smaller desserts common at other restaurant chains. The atmosphere and the quality of our food was also excellent, the kind you come to expect from a steakhouse. A big thank you to the staff at this establishment for making our dinner so enjoyable!

Been a long time, maybe a couple years since I was last at the Keg for a meal.Well where should I start, price is outrageously high , especially for any drink items. The mark up on a bottle of liquor has to be enough to almost pay for a case.They advertise lobster which is not truly a lobster but what is known as a canner in the fishing world. Canners are normally thrown back so they can have a chance to grow. Now I have always wondered what happens to the body and claws of the lobster since the Keg only serves the tail. At $20 plus for the lobster meal they could give the whole thing & still show profit.Most of the appetizers are premaid and frozen till ordered.Now I am not sure where they get their steaks from but I am sure mine was run up from Texas. I live in the country and have butchered my own beef which when I BBQ can be cut with a butter knife. The so called sirloin that I was served was extremely tuff. There was no way I could eat this piece of meat so left most of it on the plate, even my wife had a hard time cutting & chewing.In the end when the bill came I was taken back as what I paid for just the two of us was equal to a weeks grocery.Guess it will be another couple years before I go back.

Came to this restaurant tonight, Service so slow, waited for almost 1 hour, waiter did not offer refills, and my prime rib is cold, steak is burn. so dissapointed. Definetely will not comeback to this restaurant again. by the way, im a chef too.

Absolute disappointment!!!! Asked if I could meld two things on the menu…. Not only did they get the order wrong! It was Big mistake thinking I would enjoy a meal there.The frozen half lobster was so over cooked!! Filet mignon and over cooked lobster…. Avoid at all costs!!

The wife and I went out for an appetizer night and really enjoyed everything that we tried. The service that we received was excellent as well. Its a very comfortable place

This place had terrible service and very disrespectful employees. I went there to place an order after a long 10 hour shift, and the host was very rude when greeting me and when they took my order. I waited for about 50-60 minutes for a rack of ribs, just for the waitress to come to me and ask if I wanted chicken strips instead. In the entire time I was waiting the keg had ran out of ribs and didnt give me anything. This obviously frustrated me and to compensate with the mistake that had been made the waitress tells me to go eat at subway if I want my food made fast. I had said nothing of the sort. Over all terrible service dont recommend.

A fantastic pre-Rider game meal and a bit of a belated 30th Anniversary date. Food was excellent. Our waiter was fantastic and excited to see the place busy again.

My steak came extremely rare. I mentioned it to the waiter and they took this very serious. They immediately took care of my meal and made another to go. I have never experienced this before. Manager was amazing and was very respectful that I also showed respect and kindness. Four of us enjoyed our food and I am impressed how they wanted our eating experience to be top notch. Best Keg I have ever been too.

Service was good other employees checking for when people were done very often. Thats what limited seating does. Food was amazing as always.Will return again for sure

We try to come into town every once in awhile to enjoy a New York steak at the Keg. After years and years they still taste amazing and never seem to disappoint. Perfect seasoning and cooked to perfection each time. I would suggest getting the twice baked potato as a side. You will never look at a baked potato the same after. The staff are always welcoming and ask if there is anything special you are celebrating. They are friendly and are quick to find anything out if they are not sure. Great atmosphere for taking the wife out on a lunch or dinner date.

Our meal was so greasy. I had the steak and shrimp and it was placed in a pool of grease, you could spoon the oil off. My husband had the halibut and that was also covered in oil. We will never to there again.

My fiance and I finally got a chance to go out for dinner last Saturday around 5:00pm. I just wanted to say that our service was just wonderful, our steaks were so beautifully cooked and it was just an overall amazing experience. Much quieter than usual due to the restrictions, but it made the experience that much more intimate and lovely. Thank you so much for your continued amazing skills and service :)

The food was good and filling. The environment very cosy but the downside is u cant take pictures cos the lighting is terrible for pictures. Their restrictions make u feel safe as tables are far apart. It was my birthday but i didnt get anything special, no dessert, not even a candle so i can put on my cake so that was quite disappointing cos i have been to other restaurants for my birthday and they make me feel special...

First time at The Keg. It was a really big birthday celebration with my twin bro during this chaotic pandemic. The atmosphere was fantastic and the services are one of the best in Regina.I had the New York steak with graphic mash potatoes, it was juicy and delicious.BUT, I’d not recommend anyone to order their calamari. Calamari is kinda a go-to order for me whenever I go to a restaurant first time (and I understand not everyone can get fresh ingredients). But making no excuses for this high end resultant; I’ve tried Moxie, OJ, Cactus’ creations, never had this weird soggy taste texture in my mouth. It tastes like it was just microwaved to get warm up again. It was not crispy nor flavourful. Very disappointing. That’s where my two stars left this rating.It was a celebration day so we did not want to be “Karen” for just one tiny oof. Overall experience was great.I’ll be back again, and hopefully will change it to 5 stars!

Went there tonight for dinner, had reservations at 7 so only had to wait outside for 5 mins. Service was nice cant remember the name of our waiter but very friendly. Got my order right, but i was hoping some more vegetables than just a half-cut tomato with cheese on top, to go with my steak&shrimp. My friends order, however the cook messed up on; when it should have been well done but he got what look like a rare/med rare. He ate it anyway and didnt seem to make fuss. Which i would have returned. They offered us a free dessert, which was good but sweet. And my friend even tipped. Service was great though and made up for the mess up👌🏾. Praise to that server though working tonight, we sat right by the kitchen in that big booth.

We went there for our anniversary dinner, but was disappointed. The steaks were overcooked and chewy, not the class of meat that can be expected from a steakhouse. Felt like a cheaper cut. The beer came flat, although after mentioning it was taken off from the bill. Could have been so much better. May be will skip Keg for sometime. Service was good..

Service was great, usually a good meal. This last time through the prime rib was great, the baseball more medium then rare, the calamari wasnt on point. The overall experience was great and sending out kid plates prior to meals is always a nice touch.

The atmosphere at the Keg is relaxing and upscale. Mike was a very friendly and attentive server that checked in with us enough times without being overbearing. I had the steak and crab and the food came out incredible and my rare steak cooked to perfection. If youre looking for a nice meal this is the place to go.
