Havent eaten there yet n but Im sure it has good steaks

Was in to celebrate my wifes birthday. Overall the experience was great! Ruth our server was fabulous.The only issue we had..was where we were seated we could hear the TV in the lounge conflict with the sound coming out of the main speaker. It was very annoying. Ruth did try to solve the issue but unfortunately it was not happening. Management needs to review this and resolve this.Thanks

I must appoligize to the couple who came in after and ordered the prime rib! I got the last piece and must say WOW it was delicious!!!!!! And again sorry folks

Medicine Hat Keg is by far the best Keg we have been to in about 15 years. The cows in the field next door seemed a bit nervous, but after a good sear…dinner was delicious & hot. Service was excellent, and the staff were all very kind. Will return when in town again!

Just finished a job in town and a co-worker and I went out for steak dinner, my co-worker said enjoyed his meal and I ordered the rib steak bone in medium well. It was delicious as well as the sides that came with it, everything was spot on. I would definitely recommend eating here based on the 2 meals I enjoyed here while staying in town. The staff were all more than friendly and hospitable.

Made reservation for a Saturday at 7 pm and arrivedat 10 to 7. On arrival the three young hostesses standing at the reception appeared uneasy with my reservation. Waited 10 mins and asked the what was wrong with my reservation. The answer that I received was puzzling to say the least. I was told that the table that the had for me was occupied and had been for two hours, however, the people should leave shorty and it would be maybe another 10 to 20 mins or it could be as long as 45 min to an hour. I questioned the purpose to make a reservation if one could not get in at the requested time, to which the hostess replied that they garantee a reservation but not a table.??? I guess the have permanently lost a customer.

The cut of steak was fantastic, the seasoning left a bit to be desired. Coule have been remedied by some peppercorn sauce or something, but unfortunately it didnt come with any. Fries were... fries, lol.The veggies that came with it were actually the best part of the meal if im being honest, they were effin amazing!

Had supper there last Saturday. It was awesome as always!

Ordered the steak and shrimp. Steak was tough with no flavor. Shrimp was overcooked and dry.Veggies were loaded with salt.Fries were ok but gravy also very salty.Not once did the server ask how my meal was. Even during payment.Wont be returning to this location.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere. One of my favorite date night locations. Their 50th anniversary menu did not disappoint!

Hello. I was here the other day and the waiter was acitvely soliciting the patronage of someone representing illegal acitivity. The person had a brass knuckle vest on and was part of some biker club. I want the name of this individual emailed to me so I can go to the cops.

The food is excellent and service even better. Always enjoy going there.

Food was cool when it came to table. But steak was cooked to desired cookness, service was awsome.

The experience was beyond Fantasticks we never felt rushed and the timing was right on.Perfect place to celebrate Marys 74th birthday. Oh I almost forgot they topped the evening off with a Mud PieExcellent

Awesome meal, our steaks were perfect. We always have the creme brulee for dessert and its delicious! Excellent service.

Overall the experience was enjoyable. The staff provide excellent service. However, I ordered the the Steak and Lobster and I was very disappointed in the steak. It was very tough. I tried a few bits, but I wasnt able to chew them. This was my first time at a Keg. I was under the impression that the Keg was known for there steaks. I would recommend for the dinning experience, but not for their steaks.

They were very accommodating for a last minute large party with kids. The food was good and quickly prepared and the service great.

Had my 1st year anniversary dinner at The Keg last weekend. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and clean. Had ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops for a starter. And had the striploin steak and mashed potatoes with sauteed mushrooms. Also order the Surf and Turf with rice for my wife. With the meals comes complimentary Sour dough bread with butter.The service was very good same with the meal. The two things that make me give a 4 and not a 5 is the lighting at the table flickered. And when I had went to use the mens washroom there was no soap in either dispenser. I mentioned it to ladys that were working out by the main door and all they did was said thanks for letting us know? I was like wow really well during a pandemic and no soap? Might be back but very doubtful.

We went for a birthday supper earlier this week, it was rather disappointing. They didnt seem understaffed or particularly busy, yet our table wasnt bussed in a timely manner (nor was the empty table next to us for almost the entire time we were there.Service in general was friendly but lacking. Our main course came before we had finished our appetizer and our salads would not have come at all if we hadnt asked about them (to their credit, they gave us a fair discount off our bill and the manager graciously acknowledged the mistake.I ordered my steak as medium but it came well done on one side and rare on the other side. A meal at the Keg comes with a level of expectation that corresponds to their prices. Our experience this time wasnt terrible but it definitely wasnt up to the standards they are known for.

Went there for my Dad’s birthday last night. The server (no name, Aussie accentscrewed up our drinks order 3x, then largely ignored us for an hour. She came back an hour later and asked us if we were ready for entrées. When we asked what happened to the three appetizers we ordered it turned out she had forgot to enter them. By now we had no desire to prolong the experience, so we just went with the entrees. My medium rare peppercorn New York was completely raw. By way of amends, they put it back on the grill, but only on one side as of already put the sauce on it. What came back was, in fact, medium rare, but almost burnt in the one side. However, the sauce did not agree with the heat at all and it tasted gross. I mentioned this to the waitress, who offered no amends. Left hungry and frustrated, but much poorer and went to McD’s on the way home, where both the food and service were dramatically better

The service was spot on.my wife had the cod it was very good.my escargot was awsome my steak was very good.shot out to the chefs. An anniversary dinner to remember.

Our server Emily was good but the food was terrible. No butter for the lobster, steak was tough and hard to chew. It was busy and we were put way back in a back room which wasnt so bad at the end of the day for conversation purposes.The meal will make it so we wont be back for quite some time

Attended this Keg for the first time (we are used to the one in Lethbridge). Great atmosphere and a large restaurant. We made our reservation online and were promptly seated as asked (we requested no booths). The food was great - we had two appetizers and two entrees along with a kids meal. Because it was quite busy our waiter forgot a few things. The table bread came out with the meal instead of beforehand and there was no raw veggies for the childs meal. Nonetheless the food was still great.

A friend and I went here for a nice night out. I want to start by saying our server was extremely kind and did an amazing job. If I could give her a review she would get 5 stars.The food however is where points are lost.First, our drinks. My friend had a vodka water with cranberry. But there was so much ice in the glass she could barely put any water or cranberry in the drink. So she basically had vodka on the rocks.I had a steak that was so undercooked it could have been alive. I ordered it medium rare, it came blue rare, sent it back to be retired and it came back slightly less blue rare. Sent it back again and it was rare, so I ate it rare. A "Steakhouse" should know how to make steak. Its literally the house of steak.Her chicken was mediocre. We didnt realize the level of spice that was in it and she could barely finish it because there was no heat warning. Otherwise her food was good.The dessert was the highlight of the food. She ordered it, I dont know what it was. Some kind of coffee ice cream cake.Shoutout to Vicki. You were the best part of the Keg tonight.

Well. The keg was great. Our appy was the lobster bake and for dinner we both orded the prime rib and our sides were very good too. The service was outstanding. This was also a very special night as my Troy proposed after dinner! Sorry no pics.

Me and the fiancee were having dinner and the manager comes over to us....okay? She was our old waitress and she recognized me and the fiancée! What a good genuine feeling! Stephanie you are awesome! Oh and BTW the food was amazing😉

Not impressed with the food, my filet mignon was not even an inch thick and cooked to death.(it was supposed to be pink inside.The asparagus was still hard so difficult for me to chew. The only thing I enjoyed was my baked potato.

About a month ago I went in here on a date night with my husband. We were both dressed pretty nicely looking for a romantic evening I think it was pretty obvious. We had reservations of course. The thing that irritated me as they sat us in a room with a cup a couple of families with babies. The babies were crying and smacking their spoons on their plates as babies do which was fine I’m glad they had them in a different room. It would’ve just been nice that they noticed that we were a couple looking for a romantic evening and wanted some Romantic atmosphere. It felt like we were shoved in this room with a family and no one even considered that. I should mention the food was delicious as usual we’ve been to the keg many times and never had issues with food

Went for supper Saturday night for our first wedding anniversary, with our best friends.Service was horrible.... asked for more coffee and the waiter actually said it would be a bit as he was going on a break..Only checked once to see if we needed anything, dropped a bun on the floor while clearing plates,didnt bother to pick it up.Was very disappointed with the service. Food was great as usual.$300 plus bill and never left a tip.Horrible customer service.

We had dinner here recently. We were able to walk to the Keg from the hotel. I had a half order of back ribs and my partner ordered the 10 oz prime rib. Lots of food and very tasty. Nice service as well. I had the prime rib which was absolutely delicious. A BIG thank you to the Keg staff for making our dining experience special.

My steak was amazing. I had the New York and they cooked it perfect. its a tough sell to go out during COVID-19, especially because, how do you carry a conversation with someone through a mask? So I feel for the staff. how do you give someone a great gratuity just because they served you? When Im going out and spending this kind of money Im always going toexpect that a waitress or waiter is going to be conversational and make me laugh. Thats where you give your 20% tip.

Great food, very high prices, nice atmosphere. Kudos to the Keg for their Social Distancing during the Covid-19 re-start. Service was excellent. Had the baked brie as an appetizer, which was great - need spicier pepper jelly though. Will eat here again.

We love this place. Never been disappointed. Steaks, lobster, crab, its always been great, and if not, theyve been happy to make it right.We like that there are several intimate areas with maybe 4-6 tables, so it feels more cozy and private than being seated in the middle of a warehouse, where everyone is staring at each other.

Went here in December for staff party, appetizers were good, staff was great. I ordered chicken ceased salad and it came out last in a group of 12 people who ordered steaks... Chicken was over cooked and couldnt finish it. But other than that it was good.

My meal Prime Rib was done very well at Med Rare and was tender and tasty as I expected. However we did have problems with the server since our appetizer was forgotten and came after the main meal was delivered. One person with us ordered the Fillet mignon as med rare and it came well done, which on a fillet is hard to do. The manager did come over and apologized and personally worked to make everything right. I will go back since my Prime Rib was very good and worth the cost.

We spent 2 weeks in Canada on vacation. Traveled from Ontario to the Canadian Rockies and this was the best meal we ate! My Prime Rib was perfect. The Twice baked potato was exceptional! The service from the receptionist to our server was 1st class! Check this place out!

It was our birthday supper Ken and I. I ordered full rack of ribs. We also had oven roasted chicken. I/2 order of ribs. And steak and shrimp it was fantastic Thank you our waitress Emily. My friend and I had Excellent service today. Steph and Josie the manageress were friendly,and very helpful. We were over blown by the hospitality of the staff and their caring personality. Beautiful smiles and happy to serve. Food was the best I ever had. Juicing steak, delicious salads and dont talk about the succulent juicy mouth watering lobster tail. I highly recommend this place. Oh by the way the price is right. Happy customer.🙌👍🎷

THE best meal I have had in a very long time! Best steak, cooked EXACTLY how I ordered. Yes, prices are higher but,if you want quality food you have to pay a higher price. Service was fabulous as well. It was packed and busy (valentines dayand we still got our meal, hot, fresh and with 30 minutes of ordering. Amazing!Every staff member was professional, polite and invested in delivering a great experience. We will be back often.

We stopped here on a Sunday evening with a group of 10, no reservations, and were accommodated within minutes. The main dining area was quite full, but we were seated in a private area that suited our group perfectly. Service was excellent and the food was very good. Everyone had prime rib or steak, and it was all done to perfection.Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning!

Had a wonderful time at the Keg tonight. Been to many locations before but this was my first time to the Medicine location and it was the best experience I’ve had at a keg. The hostess was wonderful. She got us in right away, accommodated us when my wife suggested somewhere warmer, and was able to keep an awesome genuine conversation and dropped off our food with a smile. She even showed us where the washrooms were and the bar (being it was our first time thereOur server was excellent as well, always on top of refills and clearing plates. Such an outgoing, friendly young girl. Loved seeing how outgoing all the staff was, made for an excellent atmosphere. The food came pretty quickly and was INCREDIBLE. compliments to the chef. Great place. Highly recommend.

Well this was our first time to the Med Hat Keg. It was an awesome experience. I have been to Keg restaurants all across Canada and this one is one of the nicest. The staff were great. Our waitress Morgan was excellent. She came not to often but just right amount of times to check on us. The food was also really really good. We will be back again.

I have some difficult food allergies that make eating out tricky. The serving staff and kitchen manager went far beyond expectation to make sure I had a safe meal to eat. It was absolutely delicious as well. Our server Kimberley was very friendly and helpful. Easily the best dining experience Ive had in a while.
