My Wife and I of 30 years attended our 30th Anniversay at The Keg at this location and I must say, what a wonderful dining experience we had.Our sincere thanks to Gino our attendant who looked after our diner order and was truly intstrumental to ensure we were looked after, aside from great conversations throughout our evening.The staff was great, the food was phenominal and Gino made all the difference.We highly recommend your speacial occassion to be at The Keg at this location and if youre lucky enough to get Gino on those events, youll be truly satisfied.Friendly, knowledgeable, articulate and professional staff!Thank you so much for a wonderful evening Gino, we will be back!

Impecable service tonight at The Keg Coquitlam. I hadn’t been in probably 5+ years and everything was just as delicious as I remember. Our server Mark was top notch and my partner and I had a great evening celebrating our anniversary.

The steak I must say was cooked on point!The BBY one is under renovations now so we drove to this one to celebrate my husbands b day.Beef Wellington was amazing but rich, even the veg on my sirloin was cooked to perfection.This was the first time I tried the wings (if you love blue cheesethis was great.Excellent service

Normally the Keg gets 4 to 5 stars on everything. We were seated in the top section behind the bar which is the worst section of this restaurant. This section is completely cramped and even the servers have issues simply delivering food. If you ever get seated here immediately ask to be moved - unless you like getting cozy with the other patrons of the restaurant. We didnt because we felt bad for the server who kept losing tables because no one wanted to sit there.

I thought instead of ordering the regular ribeye to choose something from the featured menu, which is the dish shown in the image. I personally didnt like the combination of spinach, phyllo dough and steak. The service was excellent though and the staff extremely polite.

Update 8Oct2022: Finally had the chance to do our return visit to The Keg restaurant with my cousin. A perfect evening replacing the last visit. Thanks to our server Cory L. The service was perfect, the food was delicious. The drinks and wine great. We did an almost exact meal as we had the previous time. The gift card covered most of the meal and Cory got a 30% tip for great service. Well done to the management and staff. 👍Follow-up 1July2022: Contacted by the Manager. Mailed a gift card with apology. As this was a one off issue, I will be happy to go back to this location with my cousin to have a do-over.Very disappointed. Took my cousin out for an early birthday dinner. We have been here many times. Arrived and they guided us to the far back dark corner of the restaurant and gave us a 2 top booth. I said no, i want a nicer location as the restaurant was less than 20% full and it was 6:45pm. They took us to a better table. We placed or orders. Drinks before the food started. We both had starter shrimp cocktail. my lemon felt slimy when i went to squeeze. The server(Arthurbrought a new slice. Well before my cousin finished hers they brought out the mains. We both had the ribeye(medium rare). They took hers back until she finished. Don’t know what the rush was… steaks were perfect. Tild the server we were not in a rush.. Glass of wine for each of us. After eating some of the fries they started tasting strange. So i left them on the plate. After the main we had Coffee and shared a cheesecake(with cherriesonly thing not chocolate…To wrap it up, they tried to shove us in the corner, rushed or meals, some questionable quality food( steaks were perfectthey gave us a $10 birthday discount. $227 bill plus a 15% tip. I usually tip 18-20% but not happy with this experience. Maybe it will be better next time if we decide to go back…

Service is always pretty good here and the food, bread, ect is usually on point as well. I recommend coming during a special event going since they like to serve complimentary dessert depending on the occasion. Overall I would recommend going and I go 5 to 10 times a year myself.

Wonderful staff and the food came out tasting as good as it looked! We had a pleasant family diner to celebrate the life of my wife’s Aunt!

We visited the Keg for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t of asked for a better waitress than Ashley. She was incredible and made the night magical for my inlaws. Thank you for making us feel special on such a milestone celebration for our family. We will be back and hope to be seated again in your section!

The Caesar is really spicy, the tuna tartare is good but has too much avocado that is really hard to spread because of the big chunks. The new beef tartare is the blandest one I’ve ever tasted, and the beef Wellington is pretty good altho the spinach is mushy. The bacon wrapped scallops are really tough and chewy. They do make good martinis and have a nice cocktail menu.

Food and drinks were not the best for its price, and service was definitely not good. Will not go back and wont recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are others that are much better! The only thing I liked about it was the fact that the kids menu had a healthy option with vegetables and steak. So hard to find a place with these options!

I have enjoyed this location for family celebrations since the late 80s when it was all dark wood and there was a salad bar. I think it bears mentioning (as this is not stated elsewherethat they will not seat (or make reservationsfor groups of more than 6 on a Friday or Saturday so unfortunately no more family celebrations for us. I guess the fact that I am disappointed says something.

Extremely disappointed in this place. The last 2 times we have been there have been the worst. The time before the last time they did not get my steak done as requested so had to wait another 15 minutes while the rest of my party ate theirs. I had requested no seasoning on my steak which they got totally wrong.Thought maybe it was a one off so decided to try again Sept 17th. Totally horrible experience. We booked online and asked for a booth (due to hearing difficulties). We arrived on time but still had to wait 15 mins. And they gave us a non booth location which was not acceptable. So I said this wont work. So after another 20 minute wait they showed us a table that was worse. Staff was very unapologetic and to be honest a little rude. Will avoid this place from now on.

Everything was good. Not saying anything special but consistent and good. Waitress was nice and knew the menu. All looked the same though... cookie cutter. Let them wear what they like. Personality.I will say that the massive door going to the outside area is way too heavy for young ladies to be opening none stop. Complete hazard and worksafe accident withing to happen. Pls make the door easier to open or keep it open. These girls shouldnt have to fight a door with full trays.

Birthday dinner for moi. Havent been in years. This Keg in Burnaby did not disappoint. Its still dark inside, so good for date night or secret affairs... Our steaks were amazing. Service from Phil and Isabelle was top notch. He knows his stuff and hes fun but not encroaching. Very professional. Would definitely go back. It was a wonderful birthday!

Service with charisma! Nailed the cook on the steak. I think they have better cuts of steak, but maybe they just have better cooks. Maybe both? Either way you pay more, but you get better. I would dine out less in order to save up my nickels and dimes to dine here again sooner.

Lobsterfest! Always a wonderful time to visit the Keg. Unfortunately is not cheap but still good quality for what they charge.Everything was excellent. Service was also wonderful as always.

Corporate Keg location not as good as franchises. Richmond and Granville Island much better. Quality of beef and sauces is lower. Service is still good but generally not as delicious as other Kegs we tried.

I had a great experience in KEG Steakhouse. In addition to all the delicious food the staff were super nice. I ordered blackened chicken and kitchen manager Kyle served my dish personally and told me the chicken was slightly shrunken so they are bringing me a second plate on the house. The first dish was a decent portion and could I could touch the second one, so they wrapped it for me. Overall was a great experience and totally recommend

Went there for my daughters 13th birthday. There were 6 teens at a table with us sitting at another table. Graham and Mark were incredible and took such good care of the kids and us. Seriously, amazing service and the food was awesome! Thanks for making such a memorable evening for us!

Our server tonight was more than impressive. Kim from the Coquitlam location made our dinner extra enjoyable and just knew exactly what we wanted and more. You guys are very lucky to have her! I hope her hard work gets acknowledged by management. Thank for the great experience Kim!

My family and I (4showed up on a sunny day right when they opened for dinner service and wanted to be seated outside. The waitresses, servers, and supervisors all stood at the front like hawks and looked confounded. After waiting a good 5-10 minutes, they told us that the patio was full? or booked? along with some other lame excuses. There were barely any guests or people outside. I guess this is one of the drawbacks of doing outdoor reservations - they all get booked up. I think The Keg needs to change their policy on this because it prevents walk-in from dining! We were eventually seated inside in the middle of the restaurant (it was completely dead and felt like a ghost town, it was clear that everyone was being seated outside). It was the worst ambience and experience ever. Our food also took forever, and once arrived, was extremely bland, salty, and oily. I dont know what people find so appealing about The Keg. I wouldnt come back to this location, at least.

Our experience was just wonderful!!I have to say our server Karen went ABOVE and beyond to make our visit amazing. She not only checked in on us a ton, but went out of her way to offer us special options when it came to dietary restrictions and it seemed like she was jumping through hoops to make sure we had a great experience. Excellent service.Very good Meat quality.Nice space and building. organization.Terrible sides: the most insipid sides that I hadnt eaten in a long time, Im not saying they are tasty or not, that depends on each one, but there was no taste at all. once you eat the meat you no longer want to continue eating.If you want to enjoy all food and not just meat this is not the place.Desserts: After the disappointment, only I risked trying a dessert, a moderately successful creme brulee.

Jason & Tess from The Keg are so professional and friendly and gave us best dining experiences ever and a cheerful birthday dinner with our love ones here. Thanks to the team from entrance to kitchen everyone here were all very friendly and polite!BTW, salads are very fresh, fillet steak was really juice and tender, prime ribs cooks just right, sweet ending with my birthday cream brûlée which taste super! Even I didn’t buy any birthday cake, but at least I did blow my birthday candle here at the Keg~ feel happy!

We had another happy, memorable meal at The Keg in Coquitlam tonight. The food was deliciously cooked and the service was excellent. We were a party of 6 and all guests were served their food promptly at the same time with no delays. One person didn’t eat an appetizer they ordered—the item itself was perfectly fine but simply did not suit the person’s taste. The server noticed when clearing the table and took it off our bill even without us asking. I was very impressed!

Maybe one of the best place where I ate steak and where the staff was more than kind. I let them know that my dish cant have dairy. I was assured by the supervisor and even the cooker that everything was cooked accordingly. The food was juicy and tasty. I definitely recommend this experience.

Dining at the Keg was an absolute pleasure! The waitress was so friendly and asked us twice if we were celebrating something special. No other restaurant has asked us that before! She was very attentive and our waters were never left empty. The food was tasty but I dont think the food was special. However, I gave them 5 stars because I would come back again and again for the service.

We visited Coquitlam Keg for the very first time for our little celebration. The staff members were super kind and helpful. Our food and drinks were delicious 🥰

Great experience overall, made a reservation online for 6:45 PM which was honoured when I arrived without hassle and we were seated in 2 mins (sounds standard but not always the case at every restaurant).Though the restaurant was packed the waiter was attending us within 5 mins of being seated and the rest of the service was prompt and well communicated (he literally gave us ball park times on the appetizers arriving to the entrees). Food was good and all in all I would definitely come back.

Very nice. Pricey but really good service. The food was great and really good portions! Tess (our serverwas perfect! And they celebrate my daughter birthday with a card, a candle and a free creme bruleé!

Great restaurant for steaks. I got the rib steak with the bone in and it was cooked perfectly. Also the house bread is fresh and addicting. They do require vaccine card to dine here. The service was attentive and friendly. If you are looking a good steak in this area I recommend coming here.

Food was great.Staff are nice and friendly.Place is big.Reasonable price.I dont eat steak so, I ordered lobster and it was really good. However, I dont like their mushroom rice and you cant get plain rice either. So, lobster with fries.

Popular spot! Staff has great attitude and personality. One of our steaks came a bit well done and they replaced it for us free of charge.

Service was very good. The food was mediocre for the price. The steak and lobster didn’t have much flavour and the texture of the steak was not very tender for a steak of its price (around $45). The extra sauce helped a lot with the flavour. Mashed potato’s were good.

The best thing about Keg is even if you sit at the corner of the restaurant far away from the desk your server will always check on you constantly to make sure you don’t need anything.The Prime Rib and Long Island are my favorite but every time we try some new cocktails and all of them were good so far.

Amazing steaks, delicious dessert and friendly waiter. We had the New York steak and Blue Cheese fillet and both tasted amazing. Desert was also exceptional. Travis was very friendly and humorous and took good care of us.We will definitely come back :)

Coquitlam Keg was amazing! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it all. Great place to spend time with family or celebrate a birthday.

Nice resturant with the staff being attentive. Had the three course meal for Dine Out Vancouver for 50 dollars per person is worth it in my opinion. The atmosphere is very warm, since the whole resturant is dimmed with warm glow lights at each table.

This is a great special occasion restaurant. I would say the Keg is pretty consistent in service, flavour and quality. For take out I decided to call because I wanted the baked brie which isnt on the online order form.The manager was polite and patient as I ordered and even offered to pack a loaf of bread. Unfortunately I was told in a few weeks calling for pick up wouldnt be an option (I hope they put the brie on the online menu before then). The order was ready in 25 mins. The food was presented very nicely (one of the best Ive seen for takeoutand tasted as good as it looked. While its takeout dishes are almost as good as eating in ,there needs to be some consideration of how the meat cooks while in transportation- i like med rare and mine were at the more cooked end of med rare. Thus the 4 instead of a 5 rating. Note to self- make sure to ask for no end piece which resulted in one piece being closer to med/ med well.

For the price we paid we expected more attentive service, though I understand it was a busy Saturday evening. We had to ask for having our water glasses refilled and for clean plates.The striploin was fantastic. However, we ordered a medium fillet mignon but it ended up to be way overcooked. It was very disappointing. The ribs were not impressive either.The cheesecake was too sweet without the flavour of cheese. The creme brûlée was lovely.

The service is really great. The waiter is so professional who not only introduced the menu, but also help us pair steaks with better wine.Besides, the food here is so delicious: the prime rib is tender and the lobster is fresh. As to the dessert, I will definitely recommend the billy miner pie, it’s just like ice cream melt on the mouth.There is only the lettuce wedge I think it’s not worth to order it. They serve it without garnishing and the flavor is normal.Anyway, if you are find the fine dining, I think here is a good place to go.

My husband and I had dinner at The Keg to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent! We ordered calamari, lobster and steaks. It was delightful. The service was remarkable, too. Our server, Erika, was a sweetheart. She made us feel welcome and comfortable the entire time. Oh, they gave us complimentary mocha ice cream to celebrate our anniversary...such a treat. Well definitely be back.
