The Jetty - Guildford in Kerouane

The customer service was the best Ive had in Guildford. Presentation and general atmosphere is also up there. Wasnt a fan of the mains, but the desserts were spectacular.

Amazing food. Interior and decor is very smart and well kept.

Superb meal. Had booked but couldnt find booking and still accommodated us. Waiter delivered excellent customer service. All the fish dishes we had between the 3 of us were amazing. Lucky enough to have Oysters and chocolate bomb dessert. A gem of a find in Guildford.

We went a few years ago, and really enjoyed it. This time, not so much. It just didnt hit the mark. It wasnt bad, by any stretch - but it just wasnt good either.I ordered beetroot and liquorice smoked salmon ... which tasted only of salmon. Tasty, but not what it should have been. Someone else ordered a starter that didnt turn up. For main I had bass on a bed of crushed potato. It was nice, but nothing particularly special.So yeah, 3 stars sounds about right.

Did a search, best fish n chips, this place was recommended. Greeted warmly and seated, no reservations. Amazing experience. Kudos to all. Did I mention best fish n chips I’ve ever had!!!!

Our first visit to The Jetty and it was excellent. Great service, efficient and friendly staff and super food. Highly recommend the duck with lentils. Great early dinnerpriot to visiting Glive.

I have only visited once,and was blown away with the Sunday roast.The service was exemplary,surroundings comfortable and prices in keeping with a venue of this type.I will look forward to my next visit.

Great Sunday Roast Beef! But the veggie nut roast was more like a lentil Dahl... odd but tasty enough...so ok. Disappointing starters. Desserts were nice, but the cheese plate had to be returned (oldit was of course taken off the bill as were the starters. The stars of the show shown (roast beef). 👍👌

Went here for an anniversary night out based on the good reviews. Came out disappointed.Starter of asparagus and chorizo scotch eggs - eggs whites not cooked properly and the chorizo overpowered the dish (imho- not awful but very mediocre..Rib eye on the bone - the bone turned out to be a razor sharp piece of shrapnel about 1” long which I didn’t see and was lucky not to have skewered myself on... Cooked ok but a bit tough, not helped by a blunt steak knife. Again, nothing special, and as I write this I’m trying to dislodge some of it from between my teeth.Raspberry millefeuille with chantilly cream and raspberry coulis. This one got sent back - a few specks of cream and a dot of coulis don’t balance out three massive bits of unsweetened pastry. It was sent back, but returned with a couple of extra dots on the plate which I sent back again - I don’t think whoever made this had ever seen a millefeuille before - recommend they google it maybe (more cream please).Giving it 2 stars because actually despite the mediocre food and the terrible music thumping from the adjacent bar, we had a fun evening. (And the English wine was nice which helped)Perhaps it was an off day for them though didn’t seem overly busy..

Really comfortable seating in the big yellow seating booths. I can recommend the delicious bouillabaisse (fish stew).

Very good service, quality food, let down slightly by blunt knives, giving the impression that the steak was tough, which I might add it was so not, it was very flavoursome, even though it was not cooked as requested. Would recommend

Great seafood to be had here. Lively atmosphere thats good for larger parties or romantic meals for two. Head to the bar nextdoor afterwards for some expertly made cocktails.

Beautiful restaurant and very attentive staff but i think food was disappointing and let the place down. Firstly we was told there was no lobster and no lamb tonight (which is exactly what we wanted so already alarm bells). We both ended up having tempura prawns.. (wasnt chilli as describedand when i bit through the batter it exposed the black waste line of the prawn. Now if your going to bother peeling the tail off before cooking, then this excretion should also be removed. The seabass was nice however the samphire which should be salty tasted so wet and flavourless it was as if it had been boiled, and rinsed so much with no seasoning. But the biggest let down was the dessert. The apple and berry crumble was actually an apple tart cake, which looked supermarket bought and out of date, there was no crumble and it tasted rock hard dense as if it was a week old! It also came with custard but because you was served on a flat slate plate it wasnt practical at all cos the custard will spill over the plate. This needs to be served in a bowl or plate with raised edges. I actually sent it back to the kitchen, there was no berries and it tasted like a car ran over it. Luckily they took desserts off the bill. I think they need a more experienced chef because i think this is lazieness and the reason why there wasnt any customers, i honestly could have cooked better myself. Go somewhere else, this place is well over rated! Such a shame.

I popped in around February half term (sorry for the belated review, I dont have an excuse for the delay and Im sorry). Anna was super genuine, friendly and authentic I felt. I was also really happy to hear that Myles was going through the training process of working in a more senior role. I myself have been working in the hospitality sector and Myles has a lot of great potential I feel. I also got great experience with Ben - hes been extremely good to me in the past and I appreciated it. Thank you! =)

The best steak I have ever had, great service too.

Went as a family of 6 and had to re order the starters twice as they where both v.poor! First the fish soup and then the soufflé. Mains where fine, we went for steaks as we assumed they would struggle to get those wrong!

Very nice restaurant with lovely interior. Staff are friendly with great service and hospitality. Went for lunch and had a set meal, food was lovely and fresh with a lot to offer. I had the haddock fish cakes which were seasoned really well. They do oysters, muscles, lobster and crab. Very good seafood restaurant - if youre in Guildford looking for somewhere nice to eat then this is great.

Good food, maybe too pricey for what you were getting. but the octopus starter was disappointing. Biggest turnoff was the music. The music was way too loud and because we had an elderly lady with us that had hearing problems, we asked for the music to be turned down. It wasnt and at times it felt it went louder.I dont think Ill go eat there again but I do want to point out the waiting was of good service.

Absolutely amazing seafood meal here, and they have really nice cocktails as well. The decor is really nice and thought out. Nice atmosphere for a meal or for drinks at their long bar. Excellent, friendly service as well.

Fabulous meal here. A really good evening. Only slight criticism is that the music from the bar was REALLY loud in the restaurant too. Maybe its just a Saturday night thing ! Everyone enjoyed themselves though and the food was lovely.

The highest possible Service & foods, Thomas The assistant manager was exceptional by knowing the menues inside out! He knew not only the Menu inside out, but also of all allergies, I was over the moon when Thomas treated me like any other customer by not maki g a sceane when ordering Celiac Disease Safe foods, the first time in eating out at many Restaurant’s. The service was worth every penny & the food is to die for👌 Amazing Chefs & Staff, we will be back again.Many thanks Stephen & Carollynn.

Highly recommend the cod and crab, and cafe liegeois. The food was superb.

Very disappointed. It was my birthday so my children bought me vouchers with their savings as a treat. If you have vouchers off Travelzoo, you will be treated as second class. They totally forgot about our coffees so after a long time, we left with a mere "sorry" from the waiter. My birthday meal was ruined but we kept celebrating somewhere else! The food was tasty, albeit very small portions, my son was hungry when we came out. Not too happy at all.

This is not a restaurant for those who want a quiet romantic meal. The food looks good and in general gets good reviews, but the nightclub type music from the bar was horrendous, so we left.

Extremely mediocre, but not actually terrible. The fishcakes I had were indistinguishable from those I can buy at the frozen section in Tesco. Not actually bad, but really nothing special. The music from the Long Bar was really loud so we had to shout across the table to have a conversation. When we asked if it could be turned down in the restaurant a little, we were told that the bar manager liked it that way. Well at least he was happy. I wouldnt bother going again, there are much better places for less money. Otherwise the staff were very pleasant and did their best to make the meal and enjoyable experience.

Great food, great staff. A London restaurant in Guildford!!We have eaten here 5-6 times since October, had a party of 24 for a Christmas lunch a few weekends before Christmas, everyone said it was the best food we had ever had for one of these annual family gatherings, 25 years in!!A real treat, but you dont need a special occasion to go there. I can highly recommend the Crab Benedict & the Cod with a Crab Crust.The Long Bar attached to it provides a great place to have a pre-dinner drink.A BIG thumbs up.

Had a lovely lunch and went for the 2 course set lunch for £12.75 and added a pre-starter. Lovely service and delicious food. I turned down pudding as my main course of bream was sooo tasty, I didnt want a new flavour to over ride it. Next time, Ill have puds first!! 😉😂
