Its pretty, but Bosnian mentality. They dont allow to pray without socks, by that is illogical for cleanliness. Socks have more surface area to carry fungus and bacteria. Plus nobody walks around places where our heads touch in prostration. So basically it make things dirtier than a foot we JUST washed with ablution. Balkan logic does not make sense in Islam.Culture is not religion. Religion is not culture. Our language is not Arabic so when giving the sermon in Bosnian, dont say Allah. Say Bog, because by using Allah outside of Arabic, you are giving God a name. Allah is not a name. It is the word for God. By giving God an identity, it separates the Abrahamic religions into different beliefs, instead of the belief in one God.Reply to post below.Not 99% in Europe require socks. Culture is not religion. Let people pray. With or without socks. With sarong or without. Islam is not a culture. Many cultures believe in God, so let them practice the religion based on their culture. This is a global society without borders, humans are not tribal animals. We are humans.

It was surprising to see such a good mosque in center of rijeka. Its a first proper mosque i have seen in europe.Must recommend to visit it.

Wonderful place to visit as a believer or just as a visitor. Modern architecture ist absolutely breathtaking. Position of center is perfect, easy to find. Restaurant in center offers delicious halal food and seafood collected from local fishermen.

We couldnt able to entrance.. but architecture is different and so nice.. The mosque is located at adorable place in Rijeka. The muslim people in Rijeka is increabdly lucky..

Modern masjid with a wonderful space inside. Restaurant is average but terrace is beautiful for relaxing and drink coffee with cake.

Very beautiful mosque in a good location. Very clean, beautiful and modern architecture. There is also a restaurant, where you can eat halal food. There are enough parking spaces available for the cars. A must see location, when you visit Croatia in that region.

The people were very welcoming and the food delicious. I really recommend visiting if you havent already.

Beautiful Rijeka Mosque.

Masjid is the house of الله سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ and is best place to spend time. Masjid has a toilet and place for Wadu (ablution). Imam is very nice and welcoming. Masjid has a cafe which opens after 11:30am.

Waited long for the waiter, then waited long for the food. The meat was ok, the bun was to with too much grease and was falling apart. Good coffee though, traditional.
