Beautiful Inn on a beautiful property. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Very safe. Would definitely return.

Very cool Harry Potter type place. I do wish every hotel built would have SOFT closing doors however! Some of the rooms very close and can feel the vibrations of the doors closing which can hinder peace and quiet. Outside of slamming doors, very quiet and picturesque.

Great place for a small group meeting or a personal retreat. Friendly, convenient and family like.

We booked the Inn for our wedding ceremony, reception, and of the rooms for our wedding party. The rooms were nice and the venue itself was of great value. The staff was accommodating and the process was pretty easy to get everything set up for our wedding.

This is not a 5-star in the way that a perhaps a Intercontinental Hotel is. Rather, it is a stunningly charming hotel with old-world craftsmanship and modern amenities. It was truly a wonderful stay. Shout out to MARY and DAVID, our hosts the night my sisters and I stayed in 3 of the guest rooms. We could not have been happier. The rooms were comfortable, well appointed, beautiful and spacious. The stone masonry is what we came to see (believing that our great-great grandfather was the stone mason for this building), and we were delighted that our hosts at the Inn were as excited and interested in the history as were we. The chapel on campus is not to be missed, and a morning walk around to spy each building is beyond inspiring. The Inn has 12 rooms that are often occupied by parents of campus students, but it is open to the public and we could not recommend it more highly. It was a highlight of our "history tour" of Faribault.

Excellent facility for everything from casual meetings to formal receptions. And if you need food, have them cater! Their chef and food is awesome. They also have a few suites for overnight stays. Highly recommended!

Super nice. Tucked away within Hogwarts. Thats what my sister called it. We are assuming those buildings are party of the school. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to come and relax. They were setting up for some kind of event. I bet it is a nice place to rent for a reception.

I had a wonderful stay here at the Inn. The staff is friendly and helpful, even with unusual requests like finding a bicycle to ride.I especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio where I could watch the birds. (Don‘t forget the mosquito spray, though!)On my walks around campus I encountered squirrels, deer and a chipmunk.The room is spacious, comfortable and clean with many useful things like a coffeemaker, an alarmclock, a hairdryer and even an ironing board and an iron.The airconditioning is adjustable and can also be turned off.There‘s a fridge in the hallway where you can store your things. Breakfast is self-serve. You can choose from fruit, oatmeal, bread, bagels and sweet treats like muffins. Water, juices, coffee, tea and fruit are available all day long.I highly recommend the Inn for a cozy, relaxed stay.

I always have my family stay at The INN when they are in town. Our home doesn’t have space for many extra guests and The INN is the perfect home away from home. We play cards and watch tv in the cafe at night and everyone has enjoyed the baked good and SSM Peanut butter. I highly recommend The INN to anyone traveling to Faribault.

We had our daughters wedding at the Chapel and rehearsal dinner, wedding reception/dinner/dance at The Inn. David, Wendy, Father Doyle and the entire staff could not have been more helpful every step of the way. This is a unique venue with excellent customer service.

This is a very cute hotel, we were there for a wedding and stayed overnight. The rooms were quiet even with the party downstairs. They have WiFi and cable in the rooms. Would recommend staying there

Istayed 2 night for a friends wedding and everything was great. The beds are cgu, breakfast is hot and fresh, and the area is quiet.

Nice entertaining/event space with 2 great connecting patio areas. Main bathrooms need changing tables. I was led to the basement employee area bathrooms that had a cabinet with a towel that served the purpose but it took some asking to find. We did not stay overnight but heard from others staying that the rooms were nice.

Beautiful venue for a reception. Easy access for indoor and outdoor space. Ability to host overnight guests.

Very nice place to stay, very nice staff, but the in itself is very hidden and can be a pain to find.

They can and will cancel your reservation if any alumni want to stay in the Inn. I had rooms booked for well over a year, and only when I called about a month in advance to check my reservation they denied ever making one. I had a copy of my contract with them, and only then did they admit they made a mistake but refused to give me my rooms back, saying that was nonnegotiable. A clear example that they will always choose the richer patron over anyone else.

This is not your typical hotel. Each of their 12 rooms are different and very clean. Since this is not the usual hotel, you should inform them if you are arriving late as they have a very simple solution to late travelers like myself.Breakfast offerings are simple, but may be all you need; breads, cakes, cereal, juices, coffee and yogurt.As an added bonus, you can use the local fitness center. Just ask for the key.I would definitely stay here again when in the area. In fact, I did stay another night when business plans changed.

We changed our booking last minute to be closer to a wedding. I was not happy with the result. I would not call this a hotel its more of a retreat. Its overpriced compared to the other B&Bs in the area. The room is tiny dark and does not have a fridge hairdryer or a bathtub. They have a community fridge. The way they updated it is a bit sad it was probably a beautiful old building and they tried to make it modern. There is no restaurant and nothing around it to do. The school grounds are beautiful. I would recommend the archer river house in north field as a cheaper nicer alternative for vacationers.

Beautiful renovation of a historic building. Attended a catered graduation reception. Did not stay in the Inn The front desk says there are 12 rooms in the Inn and the only food they serve are pastries in the morning. Usually parents, alumni, hockey camp coaches and the like stay here but it is open to the public.

I attended a grad party at the Shattuck. The food was good and stayed hot. Facility was air conditioned well. Nice deck out back with lush greenery.

Quiet, out of the way, relaxing, and friendly.

I had my wedding at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd and reception the Shattuck Inn. I thought David did a great job and was a great coordinator there. We loved having everything on site and how flexible he was with common sense items. I could not have asked for a better location!

Its a very small quint Inn in the style old Eastern Europe. The rooms are large and well maintenance with all the amenities one would expect for a hotel with only 12 rooms. It has the feel of a B&B.

Excellent food for a grooms dinner, and the manager David was extremely helpful along every step of the planning process!

This place is beautiful and unique. Its much for than just a hotel, its an experience. Each room is different and a piece of history. The staff always goes above and beyond when I stay here. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The campus is beautiful and it takes my breath away every time I drive under the arch.

Was there for an all day work meeting. The establishment was clean and the staff professional. We had them cater lunch and the food (noodle barwas very tasty.
