The Imperial Spice - Fine dining restaurant in New Delhi, India
The imperial spice is situated in the heart of New delhi (Connaught palace)I visit at the restaurant for dinner 🥘Food was good 😊ambience was also very niceClean and hygienic placeThey also have handicap and old person lift facility and this is the best part I had ever seen in any restaurant. But the management was not up to the markTheir staff is very hard working but due to heavy rush they don’t manage it properly in a good way. They have to work on the management to attend the client more effectively.Must visit
Imperial spice as the name suggest a royal touch attached to it. A fine dine resturant located in the heart of Delhis Connought place. Serves one of the best north Indian & continental cuisines has an elegant setup & very reasonably priced. Service requires a little pep up other wise alwsys a pleasure to be there.
Good food good spaceI will rate is 4 star as five stars are much much upmarket. Else no problem with the place its good
The place has a warm ambience and provides great hospitality. A 100% recommendation for people planning on taking their family out for a dinner or lunch. The food was delicious and satiating.I felt the price was on the higher side for all the dishes and drinks provided and hence I am rating the restaurant a solid 4 and not 5
The place is definitely good for family gatherings. Its cosy also. The ambience is a mix of conventional and modern interiors, if I have to rate would rate 3.5 out of a 5.The food taste is good, rhe breads served were very fresh. However, one thing that they can improve upon is that they dont serve fresh onions, what they served us were the ones kept in refrigerator and onions because they capture bacteria very fast should also ways be consumed fresh. I know this review will make sense for a few onion lovers. The papad that they served as starters were little soggy too.Anyways, heres my summary on various aspects and I hope this helps in decision making:Food quality: 4*Hygiene: Tables were clean and aptly decoratedStaff: 5* good serviceApt for: Family gatherings, kitti parties, friends birthdays or luncheonsThanks
Great service. Nice food. Loved their tandoori platter options. Cooked as requested. Nice ambiance. Will definitely recommend.
The best part of this place is their food... Delicious and amazing. Quantity is decent and staff is nice.
Amazing ambience, delicious food, great service would like to mention specially the person "Pant" who served us. Overall an awesome evening spent at The Imperial Spice 👍👍
Dint like much!! Taste was not as pet expected. Ambience is good
This place is absolutely amazing..!!🤩 The aura and vibes this place had was unimaginable.😇 The staff were very kind and polite🧑💼. Their hospitality is amazing everyone is helpful and kind.🕺 Instagramable photos and videos can be taken easily and food is always fresh and pure🍜🍝🥘🫕 . Anyone can visit this place with children or not this place is one of the must visit places in CP Delhi. ✨✨🌟🌟
This place has one of the best fried rice, manchurian and dal makhni with garlic naan is my most fav from here.Visit here and thank me later! The staff is way too sweet and going to help you choose dishes acc to your preferences!Loved the vibe they have outdoor and indoor seating and i personally love their outdoor seating area as its quite pretty and quirky !Ended on a sweet note with their brownie fudge it was a melt in mouth dessert.
One of the best fine dining restaurants I have visited. The interior is great. They have various sitting options like round table for 5 guests, long tables for bigger family dinners etc. Each table is beautifully decorated with cutlery and bronze frame kept under the plates. The staff is really good and always at your service.Overall, a must try for fine dining experience.
Lovely place for small parties & Get togethers. I like the ambiance and service.
Good food.Welcoming staffs.A nice experience overall. They add 10% service tax on the bill before 5% GST.P.S.- LOVED THE MOCKTAILS.
As a food blogger this was one of my finest experiences. Words are not enough to describe this gem of a place . The ambience is magnificent. The staff is so courteous and polite . Its a luxurious fine dining restaurant located on the outer circle of connaught place . As far as my blogging experience is concerned it is impossible for me to jot it down in mere words . It was beyond splendid . A special chef’s table was reserved where the chef himself curated special dishes for me . And the presentation speaks for itself in the pictures . Thankyou chef upendra . I had an awesome time . Thanks for being so generous and warm in hospitality . Whenever u visit the place u must try their khumbmakai ki jugalbandi and kesari paneer . For starters i’ll recommend corn cheese rolls . Desserts mein i loved their mango phirni . Loved this place Out and out . Will be their regular visitor for sure.
Good Ambiance, Good Food and Good Staff simple things done make it perfect family restaurant, I wasnt sure about the place as my first preference is havmore but this place with its location and setup good food and nice people did great job. Only thing is for any restaurant I believe they should not sell bottled water for 100 if they can sell it for 40 if not twenty.
Very tasty food, I loved the dahi ke kebabs here, amazing ambience, it kind off felt like we got transferred to a different world, Music was good and custom made for the place, relaxing tones, lighting was intimate. The service was fast and very good.
We recently visited this restaurant to celebrate the 45th anniversary of my parents in-law. We were a small party of 12 and the experience was amazing!I reserved the table one day in advance since we had to visit on Sunday evening which is one of the most popular day of the week.1.The food was definitely 4/5, we ordered veg starters and dal+paneer with assorted breads for main course.2.Ambience is 5/5 but make sure to reserve the table in the well lighted special area especially if you plan to take pictures in case celebrating a special occasion with family.3.The service too was excellent so 5/5 there.Definitely a decent place to visit with family.
Mockery of a restaurant! The food was very average, a very disappointing experience. Though the ambiance was good however food staff people were big no. A daal fry from a Dhaba might taste better than their whole menu. Chicken tikkas had a very strange and foul smell, and Mutton chops were probably the worst thing I ate in my life, Naans were like they were from Dhaba. Avoid this place, if you dont want to waste your money.
One time Must visit restaurant.Opposite of Shankar market Connaught Place New Delhi. Neat and clean restaurant. Food quality and quantity is good. Staff is very good understandable .seating is very comfortable .Bar facility is available there.card , cash , phone pe , Paytm facility is available there.
A few days back I was here with my friends for dinner . This place is quite spacious and has a good vibe . Its a fine dine with a bar . Service here is pretty quick and staff is very friendly . Here we started with some Crispy Spring Rolls , Prawns and Dimsums , starters were good and flavours were intact . Here they do have some good drinks on their menu. I really loved their North Indian mains , Dal , Chicken and their breads were so soft . My whole dining experience was amazing.
I went to this restaurant with my friend . They have beautiful ambience. The staff is very polite and cooperative . service is very fast. I tried their Hyderabadi panner tikka Mix veg , chicken Dumplings and I like the taste .
Great service and authentic Indian cuisine. Staff accommodated our needs.
Ambience was beautiful and food quality also good 😊
One of the best places in Cannaught Place to visit for those family or friends outings be it lunch or dinner, this place is perfect for both. I personally loved their Dal Makhani with Garlic Naan, would highly recommend it. Also, in drinks I would say do try their drink named Somras if you are taking alcohol, its amazing. The vibe, the ambience, the service, the food and everything was superb. I would say do try it out.
One of the best fine dining restaurants I have visited. The interior is great. They have various sitting options like round table for 5 guests, long tables for bigger family dinners etc. Each table is beautifully decorated with cutlery and bronze pices kept under the plates. The drinks (including alcoholicand food menu is pretty good and the pricing is not very high. We had veg biryani and couple of mocktails. Every item was delicious. The staff is really good and always at your service.Overall, a must try for fine dining experience.
I celebrated my birthday here this is good place everything is fantastic here but music was not good although vil gve 4.8 stars
I used to visit this place often. But I had a terrible experience last time. It was my birthday. I called them 2 days before and booked a table for 2. They sent text messages to make a booking for my birthday. I did. When we went there, they had no idea about the booking. It was Sunday evening but the restaurant was empty. We got a table. I was still upset why the table had not been booked when we made the prior bookings. The manager came, I expressed this to him and to my utter surprise he said we really dont entertain 2 guests. We prefer more people. We were shocked. What to do if you are only two people and want to enjoy food. So if youre 2 and want to visit, avoid. Talking about the food. Food is okay. Not the best, not the worst. You can have better food than they serve, in CP itself. Food is on the expensive side but it is all about the experience you get. They gave me a 25 percent discount which I did not ask for. Secondly my whole mood got upset on my birthday because of their response that they dont entertain 2 guests. So I dont really care about the 25 percent discount. Would not visit them again.
Visited the place in a group of 4.The food was simply good across the board. Both in veg and non-veg optionsThe ambience was somewhat darker for our tastes but made for a great respite on a particularly hot afternoon. They didnt have backup electricity and the power was out for the better half of our stay there hence they lose some points in customer experience.
This offers good food and ambience. We ordered chef special sandwich paneer tikka masala, Imperial Dal makhni, garlic naan and butter roti. The taste of food is good. Ambience is more like a lounge. I personally liked it. Staff is courteous
Everything is way too perfect.,..Classy place to dining…..Amazing decor amazing food must visit…..Highly recommended from my side…
Very typical fine dining. Food was divine. As a tourist I was satisfied with everything I ate. I would recommend this place back home to anyone if ever visiting Delhi, India. I would definitely come back thats how good this place is.
Visited this place 2-3 days back and i just love this place amazing staff , food the platting ambiance everything just awesome must visit place highly recommend
Me and my friends decided to spend the last weekend here at the imperial spice so I visited the place yesterday with them. The ambience was quite classy with elegant interiors. A proper fine dine kinda place I would say. The staff was very welcoming. The food and bar menu menu was wide ranging. We decided quickly to order Quinoa satawari kebabs, Kathafe rolls and theming mushrooms in starters. All of these were something new for me but definitely impressive. The taste was top notch along with good presentation. We had strawberry slush & twist at imperial spice to drink. Drinks were good. Main course had paneer tikka sandwich with garlic naan, mafo tofu, kumbh taka tak with mirchi parantha. The mains were super delicious and fulfilling. We ended our visit with a heavenly dessert combo that was chocolate rabri. That was absolutely delectable. Overall loved the place and the atmosphere. Must try : Paneer Tikka sandwich, mafo tofu, strawberry slush & kathafe rolls.
This Place was absolutely amazing, from preparation to presentation, upto mark, taking all the safety methods . Me and my friends were totally in love with their North indian cuisine. In love with their starters, dessert, drinks, especially the best part main course. Everything was superb, they were taking all the safety steps.Totally recommended from my side.
Amazing food, excellent service. Decor and light music is classic fit for family dinner. You can interact properly and all their food options are perfect but especially achari chaap and yellow dal tadka.
A luxurious place with prettiedt decor you will ever seeIt is a spacious place and probably best in townThe place overall is perfect for family get togethers and party.I really liked their interior its calm and cozy. The staff is so kind. And hygeine was maintained .The taste was just perfect.Had a bunch of items, everything was nice and tasty. From presentation to service they are super. In everything they doWill visit soon
Very nice ambience. Food is good but too costly. Had just one paneer gravy and 4 rotis. The bill wad around 1300rs🤯. Not worth the price. The staff was not very polite and were not aware of their own EazyDiner and Dineout policies. Tried a drink called Black Cat which turned out to be grape juice with masala and it cost over Rs400. Totally looting.
Amazing Indian food. Achari paneer tikka, dal makhani, sandwich paneerand mushroom soup are few of the items i loved. The staff is good as well. Food was served hot. Amazing place. Ambience is lovely!
We visited first time to celebrate birthday. Located in CP, M Block opp. Fire station. Nearest metro is Barakhamba Road. Very nice ambience. Enough space for small get to gather. Veg and Non Veg both are available with Bar facility also. Food quality is good. Service was also excellent. Keep it up.!
An overhype place with average to below average food.Service was not that good to, they mixed my order. And all this happened while the restaurant is running on 50% occupancy.Price was around 5k for 5 people.Overall, I am disappointed.
It was amazing having my surprise arranged at this fine dining restaurant. Since it was a weekday, so it wasnt crowded at all. Food was tasty, service was quick and it was nice having the complete attention of the staff for anything and everything. Kudos🤘
•Situated in centre of Delhi, CP. So, easily accessible.•Huge place, and its on the first floor (wheelchair accessible).•Food is delicious yet the quantity is less and is very expensive. However, vibe of the place is worth it. If you love to be clicked then you must check this out.Mocktails are just average.•Also have Bar and thats beautiful.• Staff is very courteous. Special mention to Amar (Staffs are ready to take picture of yours if you ask)•Service is decent.Nearest Metro: Barakhambha Road (Blue Lineor Rajiv Chowk (Yellow Line)
Classy ambience. Food was amazing. Beverages are must try. Presentation of the food was really superb. Nice hospitality. A bit costly but worth the money. You must try their Guava juice.
I have been to this restaurant in past also. I like the overall ambiance and the round tables in front of bar.The food is exceptionally tasty and some of the dishes like mango flavoured dahi ke kabab and Saffron Malai chicken tikka are my favourite.Staff is very helpful and courteous. Service is fast and place is value for money.
Well the ambience, staff, decor, variety on the menu all are good but the food is not that great. I am giving 3 stars because food taste & quality is what I care about most and this place had that at just average. Its located on the outer circle in CP with paid parking right outside.
Neither too big nor too small, beautifully decorated, with plenty of cozy corners to chat uninterrupted with friends with good delicious food. Staff is very courteous and the overall ambience is very warm and welcoming. Mezze platter was yumm. Though they can do better with the speed of the service which was painfully slow.Apart from slow service..Overall experience was good.
So this restaurant is situated at center of Delhi in CP, Yes I would say it is actually pocket friendly. The ambience at this restaurant is very good any time you visit here above all the staff at this restaurant is very polite and gentle towards the customers. The best part if you are hungry they will not delay the food order because there service is seriously very fast. They took just 10-12min to complete our order so 5start for the service and yes food quality is very good you can see the reference for the food items which we ordered at this restaurant.
It’s a classy place. The proper fine dine restaurant. Went here for friends birthday and it was good experience. The food was really tasty. Had some mango kebab starter and it was awesome. Main course paneer dishes were good. Staff is courteous. A bit costly but worth fine dine.
A very cozy place, with a great ambiance. The food was amazing along with a pampered service. The place provides a good experience of fine dining.Do try their Chocolate Rabri Decker.Ordered:Manchow soupKhow suey (cooked in coconut oil and served along with a number of condiments)Non-veg tandoori platterVeg Biryani (I was a bit disappointed that it was not a dum Biryani, but the taste was almost similar to a dum biryani)Chocolate Rabri deckerLehsun ki kheer (It didnt smell like garlic at all, but it had a bold garlic taste which went well with the sweet taste of kheer)
