Drinks, beers & American comfort food on a patio or in a dining room with a tree growing through it.
Never came here for dinner but the brunch is amazing. The staff is great and attentive, food is good for what you’re going for, and the mimosas are awesome. This is my go to spot in weho when I’m looking for something chill with a vibe. If you treat your server right they’ll give you the world. Always a great time.
Unacceptable.I am only giving 1 star because I can not give 0. We arrived for our reservation on time and we were not seated until 20 minutes after our reservation. No problem... I understand it can take time to turn over a table. However, the staff and kitchen are overwhelmed and understaffed. Our food came out an hour after we ordered AND came out staggered over the course of 20 minutes. When the food finally arrived, it was nothing to write home about. If you order a side of bacon, expect to be served bacon bits instead of strips of bacon.I would highly recommend going elsewhere for brunch.
Great vibes! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Brunch is amazing, specially on sports days when the games are playing on the tvs!
I don’t leave reviews of food places(like never everbut I didn’t like it. The food was overpriced & the portions weren’t that great. First of all, it took us 10 minutes to get seated..& I had a feeling our server didn’t quite like us. I’ll never go back again.
A little quiet but thats not a bad thing. Really great bar staff and good atmosphere. Didnt try the food but the food from the person next to me smelt pretty damn good
The food was ok .. but we seriously waited like 45 mn to receive or food, plus I asked for french fries and I got potatoes instead. Sad experience therefore the food was consistant.
Stopped there for a bite to eat during my trip to the west coast. The waitress was very sweet and welcoming and the food was so good! I will definitely come back again
We’ve been to The Hudson many times. It appears as though they recently changed the food menu which stands to reason there is a new chef. The previous menu/chef offered amazing comfort food reminiscent of southern style cooking. I’m sad to say, this current food is simply bad. We ordered three dishes all of which were no different than average bar food but was prepared to look like it was gourmet cuisine. To top it off, everyone in our party got food poisoning. I will say that the service is impeccable and environment very inviting. Great place for Mimosa’s. Just don’t order food. So sad because it was once the mecca for brunch food.
We went for brunch and the food/drinks were amazing! Staff was very friendly. I will definitely come back next time Im in the area!
Great place...We where their during cicLAvia..Beer was nice and COLD. Food was fantastic..
Its a beautiful place , nite time is the best time to go there
Came here for a friends bday party, the room easily accommodated our party of 20 with reservations. The atmosphere is fun and the lighting is great for photos. The food and drinks are average in taste, and reasonably priced for LA.
Went here today for brunch for the first time since they reopened post-renovation. The menu is pretty uninspired - mostly various combinations of meat and eggs (pork chop + eggs, steak + eggs, sausage + eggs, etc.with a poor selection of vegetarian options. I really wanted to like it but probably wouldnt recommend The Hudson for brunch when there are so many other great options in town.
The biscuits and gravy is so good! Gotta get the mimosa to go along with it too!
All of the years that I have lived West Hollywood, I had not had the occasion to visit The Hudson...that is until I was provoked this last Friday. So when my oldest and best friend Jason mentioned that his nephew was guest-DJing at this well-established eatery, I was all-too-happy to oblige. Walking up the steps to enter & through the threshold, I was expecting an intimate and smaller venue than what I found. Once inside, I was surprised by how spacious and comfortable I felt. The indirect lighting was effective, the decor, a mixture of bar to starboard and of booths and tables to port was tasteful, the service was attentive. I ordered a cocktails for my Bestie and me and was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price of the round of drinks was... I learned, in fact that it was the first night of the new happy hour pricing promo that lasted until 2 am. The Hudson has an extensive cocktail menu, with something interesting for nearly all. Settling in and sipping, I found the music an eclectic mix... DJ-DirtyTom described it as " a mixture of current indie dance music with some hip hop flavor mixed in". We even heard one young woman compliment the DJ and ask him for his playlist. I might have been the oldest guest in attendance, but I found the well-dressed crowd diverse, friendly and engaging. I didnt eat, because I had just come from dinner at my regular Friday location. I look forward to returning, to check out the food offerings...
Cute cute cute atmosphere, we had dinner next to a tree, and the bathroom had a sign that said to please not do any coke in the bathroom which was a funny post for my ig story, overall soo cute but sooooo dark! And loud!!! Which I believe half of the train is a bar, and I was not aware, so I went in for a nice romantic dinner but obviously was not aware that’s not what this place is, still great time, had my first spicy cocktail, recommended by my waitress and it was great!
I went on a Sunday night. The mac n cheese is great for "late-night food" and the drinks were incredibly reasonably priced. I really like the fact that there are literally trees growing through the restaurant (although Im wondering about their long-term plan for accommodating their growth). The lighting in this place is excellent. Like, seriously. Probably one of the best among similar places in the area. Overall, a great vibe. Will definitely return.
Brunch is so much fun (great music). They also have a delicious menu (brunch, lunch, dinner). Pretty and interesting restaurant design if ambience is important to you.
Love this place! Anytime before 10pm it is easy to get a table and it’s not too loud. Amazing food and drinks. Staff is friendly!
One of the best happy hours in Los Angeles/West Hollywood. Really nice staff, the best Mac and cheese I have ever had and great drinks. Make your way here whenever you get a chance. Go on a first date here. Just get here!
Super hip, cool atmosphere. It was very crowded and noisy, and the service was incredibly slow. There aren’t enough seats over by the bar, and several people end up having to stand around, which also makes the service tougher. I imagine it would be more fun if you go on a slow day or right when they open.

A bit noisy but perfect cocktails and food, great service and public in the bar/club
My favorite bar in town. Great happy hour drink prices- best in West Hollywood. The bar manager and servers are very personable. Great atmosphere, will continue to return.
Awesome place for drinks or high end bar food. I love the environment and the food is great at what it does - fancy bar food. Brussel sprouts, buffalo cauliflower, and burger there are all super tasty. Nice enough to bring a date or meet coworker for drinks. On weekend nights once it’s later it’s more of a crowded bar scene vs a sit down dinner and drinks spot.
The food was delicious ! i ordered the jalapeno mac n cheese with short rib on top (additionaland it was packed with flavor. It was just the right amount of salt and short rib flavor. The macaroni seemed a little overcooked, but it was still delicious. For the entrée, i got the salmon and my boyfriend got the chicken breast. My salmon was pretty tasty along with the corn underneath it, but I felt that it couldve been better. The chicken breast was a bit bland and so was the asparagus that came with it. It seemed as if the chicken was about to be seasoned but forgotten.I got a glass of chardonnay, which was yum but the rose I got afterwards was mediocre. To end the night on a sweet note, I ordered the strawberry trifle. It had whipped cream on top of the strawberries and a semi hard cookie coarsely crumbled underneath with maple syrup. It had good texture and was a bit sweet for my personal taste, but my boyfriend, who has a sweet tooth, enjoyed very much. Its a cute spot to go with friends or on a date, but the music is quite loud and is difficult to hear when the other person is talking. I wouldnt recommend it for a business meeting, but it would work well with a small group of friends as it is a rather small spot with about 10ish tables.
Amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere! Most food items are about $12 and a delicious mimosa is $4 or Bottomless is $16. Great for brunch with your friends!
Great spot for bottomless mimosas and when you’re done brunching you can continue drinking your bottomless at the bar!
I’m a regular at The Hudson, absolutely love it there and send all my friends there. Cris and Tony (managersand all of the staff are extremely friendly and awesome. The food is delicious, my favorite being the short rib grilled cheese. On Friday’s and Saturday’s the DJS get the dance floor going and the vibe is fun. Great place to get your drink on, any time and any day! Get there!
Came here during the evening for Huddy Hour with a couple of friends. Great ambiance, nice crowd and staff. The moscow mule was on point, as were the mac & cheese and short rib tacos. This is absolutely a place that people should check out.
Quaint, cozy, and loud as hell. The Hudson is a little slip of a place that looks like an imitation of a dinner built into a rail car, but a lot more homey than that makes it sound. The staff is friendly as all get out and allowed to be casual, to the point where my server recommended a dessert by calling it "money." The food is slightly adventurous in concept, but sometimes sounds better than it tastes... I ordered a crab cake benedict that mostly just tasted like crab. Theres also a small bar thats typically understaffed.
Brunch was AMAZING!!! I enjoyed a mimosa along with the biscuits and gravy plate. The biscuits were beautifully baked (NOT dry at alland topped with a surprisingly light minced sausage gravy. The accompanying eggs were also so well made; light, fluffy, and creamy. Also, did I mention they have a vintage photo booth! The DJ was spinning some GREAT old school hits to set that mood of Sunday Funday. So worth every penny.
Bartenders are awesome, fast and the know their stuff. Every time I go I have an awesome time. The service is also really good, it is also fast and friendly. Really clean place and music is great. Yall should go try it out. (;
Great brunch option. Be sure to call ahead to reserve the space and have your whole party present to be seated. Really neat open air/train car concept.
Solid tofu rice dish as a vegan option. Ambience is terrific, service was solid and staff are friendly.
Used to be awesome, but the food has gotten worse. Used to be a great place for brunch but now its only ok. Sort of a weord vibe at night but thwy have pretty good drink specials from time to time.
This place is cute. Ive pass by often but never really took notice to The Hudson. This is a great spot to meet for happy hour. The vibe was laid back and hosted a mixed crowd. Drinks are reasonable, although it did take a minute to receive our drinks after ordering them. Highlight of HH was the Chicken Meatballs and the Chicken Sliders.
Great Interior, great staff, really good food, not super expensive, good people watching!
I had the grilled cheese with tomatoe soup and it was amazing. Really cute restaurant with a tree growing through it. No pics sorry... The waiters I had were a little uninterested in their jobs but still great food.
Great brunch location in WeHo, food is good, not great. Staff is on point and the owner walks around introducing himself and checking on service which is nice. If the menu had more selection this would be a 5 star place
There is a tree in the middle of the restaurant. This gastropub offers a variety of drinks, beers and wines. The food is decent and depending on what you order can be pricey or normally priced for the area. I recommend the burger with sweet potato fries. The dish is actually pretty filing. However, something like the street tacos (also an entreeis very small all you get is two tacos for more than $10. If you live nearby it is a great place to go but I wouldnt drive out of my way just to eat here.
Although this place really caters to the local hipsters, it was definitely a fun dinner. It seems a little dark from the outside, but then you get surprised by the trees growing through the floor and ceiling. Appetizers were really good, and they were able to accommodate us quickly since we were going to a show down the street.
Came here on Saturday for a friend brunch. The server was awful. And Im used to bad service in la so when I say awful. I truly mean it. He screwed up our order, literally we had to track him multiple times. The food was fairly good. So thats why it gets 3 stars. But o dont think Ill be back.
A friend brought us to The Hudson for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! Being in LA, we thought it would be expensive, but the prices were actually really reasonable! I tried two cocktails, a Moscow Mule and another one that was a bit spicy, really tasty and not too expensive. To start we shared some mac n cheese, which was probably the best mac n cheese Id ever tasted, and we also had some yummy sweet potato fries. For dinner I had steak and chips, which I really enjoyed! It came already sliced with a really flavourful gravy and rustic chips on the side. The interior is very cosy and warm and its built around an actual tree! How cool is that?! You also might get to spot some celebs, being LA and all that ;)
Went here on a night out and really enjoyed the atmosphere. If youre into trying unique drinks they have a lot of options.Plenty of tables to sit around if youre looking for a more chill night out with friends. They also have a photo booth which always makes for a good time.Typical West Hollywood prices.
A popular place with a young crowd and very cool atmosphere. However, we found the servers to be a bit difficult. There were many open tables on a Tuesday night, but they refused to set us since we already had ordered drinks and food, but had no where to sit and eat it. In the end we managed to get a table with our party of 10+ and it worked out, but it was very difficult and the service was slow. It also gets very crowded.
I cant believe I havent reviewed this place yet. This is a really awesome bar its the kinda place you can take everyone and they will enjoy it. The people are really interesting here and the place doesnt feel too clubby but yet it isnt too chill either. The bartenders and people who work here are really nice and the ambiance is amazing as well. I like to go here fairly often, but check out their new place The Churchill. I used to really like this place but after Laurel Hardware opened it took this places thunder away.
Really great vibe. I went on a Sunday so it was more relaxed and I could hear my friends which was nice. I thought the drinks were fairly priced and the service was great!Parking was a bit hard though but they do have a valet.
The hostess automatically said we had to be out by 1 even though we got there at 10:30 so we had plenty of time and she was rude, our server, which only had about two tables including us, was rude and seemed to forget about us...the food was the savior. The breakfast was very good and the rosemary potatoes were delicious. But until the service changes I dont think Ill be back...not to mention the crazy amount of flies at our table...I felt like we were outside it was gross.
The atmosphere is nice but as soon as I walked in the hostess was a complete bit** she did not even seem to care like we were there. There were 3 open tables and put us on a 20 minute wait and when asked to see a menu she said "we are out" I then asked to order our food ahead of time because we were in a rush and she said we cannot do that. The food was good otherwise.
