The Hub Hotel - in Freetown, Sierra Leone
Amazing place where you can enjoy great food and drinks in a nice atmosphere ! Highly recommended .
It is a fantastique place with a very beatiful view.
Rooms were clean and well serviced. Management was great helping me to get a doctor when I got sick
It was okay
Food is fresh and really good and relatively calm place in the centre of chaos!
I got sick from the food I ate and the juice is hand squeezed.
The food was very nice..Nice place for parties and conferences
This place is amazing. Customer service was surprisingly phenomenal. All the workers wore masks (first business in the whole of Freetown I entered seeing that). Management was caring and asked repeatedly if my table was properly serviced. I absolutely recommend this amazing business with its beautiful ambiance.
The place is lovely and the environment but the customer service is very poor though we waited a long time just to get what we ordered for
Tasty food especially as what I wanted wasn’t on the menu but the waitress got the chef to make it for me!Service was A Star!!!
A very nice outdoor restaurant in Freetown. Great food and decent waitress and waiters. The food is delicious and very fresh. It has a very beautiful scenery view of the Atlantic Ocean at night. It’s ideal for outing during COVID-19 pandemic.
Good food
Nice place, friendly staff.
Great food great environment
Very good. The rooms are very clean and pleasent. The managers are great. The outdoor area, by the pool is awesome. You can sit and work or just relax by the pool area. The location is excellent, very central.
Ambience beautiful, food tasty, staff well mannered and fluent oriented. A must visit place if you are in Freetown..
Great view! Artsy.
Great place with great ambience.
You want a simple and cool life for the weekend or other days then try visiting this place, they always make there visitor feel comfort and put smile on their face because you deserve that.
Visited the restaurant - was good. The BBQ Goat ribs were particularly delightful. Also recommend the hummus and wings. The dining area was spacious and airy, very neat and well kept. There was a live band with good music, great evening programs. Staff were attentive and friendly. Cost was higher than normal, but the quality is unquestioned.Happy with this visit.
I visit regularly and will continue to always stay here. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is one of the best in town.
Day well spentHub hotel tnx fr d hospitality
The Hub has decent food although it is quite expensive. The sushi is good and good portions too. The pasta is good, but the chicken nuggets burger is just a piece of grilled chicken. The pizza is really big, but I havent tried it. The cocktails are mostly quote bad, but the "Sex on the beach" is an easy recipe and therefore is fine. The ice cream for just 5,000 is basic but good. The WiFi is pretty strong but runs out after 4 hours. There arent any plug sockets to charge your laptop of youre working there in the part that is like an indoor tent. The pool is nice but bizarrely placed in the middle of a restaurant setting, making it awkward to swim there whilst everyone just eats and watches. The service is ok, but it can take a while to get the attention of a waitress. The range of teas are really nice and they have real milk instead of powdered.
Rooms are very neat. Food is good. Try the Goat BBQ. Breakfast is slightly above basic and complimentary. Staff are courteous and friendly. Its pricey but then so is everything in Freetown. In summary, a good experience.
Get the chicken corn energy soup. Its amazing. Passable sushi, cheaper than Lagunda. Service is generally good, ocassionally orders are forgotten, so speak up if youve been waiting.
As always a consistently reliable comfortable hotel with good service all round
The duty manage was rude and I waited a long time for a menu. The welcoming is terrible no smiling faces. And they will just stare at you . They did not even interact with us very bad. I would not recommendTo anyone
The service was so bad that I lost my appetite. The staff will watch you take a seat and wait 30mins literally to give you a menu. They where so rude to me l.
Very nice environment just next to the swimming pool. Food was delicious and service great as well. Many nice dishes but highly recommend the steak with the pepper sauce!
the hotel looks decidedly average, but the restaurant by the pool is a class above. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and considering your options for good food in Sierra Leone are limited in Freetown, this was a nice break and a way to get some fresh and delicious food.
Amazing place at the top of the mountainRich food dishes at restaurant
Very good ambiance to drink and eat with a great view of sunset
Great Sushi and pleasant atmosphere
We had an excellent lunch on the terrasse by the pool. The food was excellent and the portions were more than generous. Wifi was also very good and lots of people go there to use it. Just buy a coffee and you are good to go!
HORRIBLE!!!! I spent money on food that was the worst, the eggs had bad taste and the fullsili bacon and scalop cabonara was just tasteless and coldand to top it all there were cockroaches everywhere flying around us.....We left the food on the table after one bite then asking for the bill cuz cockroaches where all around.......it was just horrible 👎🏼
I rarely leave reviews but this deserves a special mention. The place itself is lovely and the food is decent but the staff are the surliest, rudest most unprofessional bunch of people I’ve ever met. Can’t even string a bill together correctly and give you change. Frankly disgraceful. Management is inept and incompetent. Card payments only after 10 am, constantly broken ATM, limited overpriced and unappetising breakfast. I wish I could give minus stars.
First time in Freetown so my expectations were low but they are quite standard, I shouldnt have listened to what others said about the city. The rooms had a very strong antiseptic smell about them though so at least you knew they took cleaning seriously. Everything I ate there was fantastic. Be prepared to pay cash though. There POS had issues and their BDC didnt have change for about 2 nights. Youll also need to carry an adaptor for a three pin plug as they use the American type of sockets. They might give you but then they might be fully booked too.
Nice place on the top of the hill good food and lovely outdoors
The patio had some of the best views in Freetown and is a great place to knock out some work or knock back some drinks while you watch the sunset. The food is good and service is as close to good as it gets in Salone. Process are spendy but not out of this world.

Nice clean air conditioned rooms and friendly staff. Great pool and bar area. The restaurant menu is good and I would recommend the roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes.
A much-improved restaurant; of the hotel restaurants with the standard international menus its the best. The sushi is excellent.
Lovely ambience. Food choices limited. Baracuda was dry and didnt come with sauce unless you ask. Friench fries is not thin cut but home cut fries.
Apart from the pet rat/big house mouse on the terrace, it was lovely - beautiful view of Lumely and beyond. Please get raid of that mouse/rat, gives the gibbers knowing my food is around the corner...
Very nice semi-outdoor restaurant with a great view. Needs ceiling fans in the restaurant.
This place was excellent for its location. The room was clean and comfy. The shower was hot and didnt leak. The restaurant had great Lebanese food. The staff was friendly enough. Checkout was a bit of an issue with the card reader, so possibly try to have cash on hand if need be. I would certainly stay here again if I ever came back to Freetown. Also be prepared to add HOURS to checkout, to get to the airport "ferry".
Nice place with good restaurant and assorted drinks. Good view of Freetown by the pool.
Stay for 2 weeks, enjoyed the Hub in Sierra Leone. Service was very good and hotel employee was very helpful. Wise
Nice view. Good service.
Spacious and great for hanging out
