The Hop Stop in Humble

We don’t get to come to this location as much as we would like. But it is one of the best taprooms in the area! Everytime we visit everyone always makes sure to make sure we feel welcome! Love their customer service!

My husband and I love this place! Our neighbor friends brought us here and we enjoy the micro beer selection and the atmosphere both inside nd out. Multiple rooms to hang out in with board games, piano, dart board, and outside patio. And live music on Sundays.

i live down the street and 2 weeks ago yall had an event and decided to let your patrons know they wouldnt be bale to park in your parking lot due to the fact there are other businesss need that space for there companies. im here to let you and your patrons know the next time your manager or whoever decides to use my front and back street where i pay rent to be able to park mine and my families cars as a parking lot cars WILL BE TOWED!! i have tried calling up there to speak with a manager and no one ever answers your phones. so here is the warning.

If youre a fan of independent brews than this place is for you. Cause its all they serve but, their choices change sometimes daily. Once a keg is finished of a particular brew it is then replaced by a different one and not the same one. They have a main bar, outside picnic tables and a separate room with sofas and games. It have become one of my favorite places. I highly recommend it!

Not a brewery, but sells many local brews on tap. The place is a assemble of smaller buildings and rooms connected by a patio. There is a lot of seating, barstool, patio chair, or relaxed lounger. The bartender was especially friendly, and the atmosphere especially comfortable and relaxing. They are not a sports bar, but accommodate with a larger screen outside on the patio on game day. The first time I arrive at this place it was looking another place, and for lucky I decided to entrance and saw a beautiful bar, tiny, with two tv screen one with futbol (soccerthe other with a list of beers in Draft all artisanal beers from different breweries of different places in Texas and the states. Since then I decided this is my only and favorite Bar in Houston. The music its perfect. Only vinyls, you can see the covers that is now playing and the next to play.Everytime I return the TV is with soccer and the beers are different and also the music is perfect like always the music is.

Great place to find local and unique craft beers. They have a nice patio area that is dog friendly and a separate room with darts to hang out in. The actual bar is very small but most people were hanging out outside. The parking area is small so you may need to park along one of the side streets. We happened to come.in when they were have a $5 dart tournament that was fun.

Hop Stop and its owners are proof that experience in the art of Brewing Beer, combined with the ability to spin the best Music, sure makes for a cozy and quite rememberable evening! BEST area bar to visit!

This is my go to place when I want to drink a beer, just good beers and lovely people, bring your own vinyl is great and so are the owners and people that works the bar.

I visited this place with my wife tonight, and heres the verdict: This is, without a doubt, the most unique and charming micro-brew spot I have ever been to. Not just in Texas, but -- literally in the country.There are records playing, but its not pretentious. The patio is fun, but not loud. The music room along the side is just... authentically part of the whole experience. Its not the same building, but it doesnt feel like its added on.Then theres the beer. (Duh.I spoke with Rick for a bit about pairing a beer with a meal I was planning with friends, so he helped me sample a flight, and made suggestions based upon the food I was serving. His wife Dawn was helpful in getting us some canned beer, along with filling our uKeg growler.People want a good experience when they go out for a beer, and thats what The Hop Stop delivers. You can tell the owners have a passion for what they do, and it shows in the customer service, friendliness, and selection. They (literallygave us a tour of the entire property, just to make us feel welcome.If youre a beer lover, and you are in Houston, whether visiting or just passing through, youd be insane not to stop here.5/5. Very nice little bar/pub, cool interior, ginormous collection of vinyls.If you are after just a regular beer, you won’t find it here. What they have is really good selection of craft beers including local ones. Bartender is a very nice guy!

Nice little place with great craft brews. Walked in and a few people were there, started talking them and Rick the owner about beers and stuff. Turns out that wer know a lot of people on common, if Im ever in that side of town, Ill definitely stop by again. Highly recommend.

Broader offering of national craft beers in bottle and can.It is like being in you best friends living room playing vinal from before and today. If you need more space beyond the cozy bar area there is a lounge or/and summer outside area.If hungry order Hippo Burger through door dash, either way, you won’t want to leave to get a meal.

I was pleasantly surprised with this spots ambiance. The beer menu was also plentiful. They play vinyl records on Sundays and they have open mic on other days and the owner also said that they have comedians performed from time to time. This definitely is a cool chill hangout spot

Love this little craft joint! The selection is always diverse. The patio is spacious. The lounge area is nice to cool off. Live music & comedy shows too. So happy to have a place like this on the North East side of Houston.

This is an awesome little hole in the wall, easy to miss place with a cosy atmosphere and a great beer selection. They only serve craft beer and wine, so open you mind and try something new, but dont fall in love with anything, because there is no guarantee itll be there the next time you vist!

Small little craft beer bar tucked away in a small shopping center in Humble. Great variety of local beers on tap, and absolutely no big beer brands in site. actual bar itself is small, but they own the property next door which offers some couches and games and instruments. There is also a large patio which was great on this particular evening.They do fill growlers but i forgot mine so i cant comment on that. Will def stop back in for a fill for the weekend.

From the moment i walked into this place i felt welcomed. The owners where very respectful and welcoming. They had awesome music playing and lots of good beer! There is no place like The Hop Stop on the north side up 59. Ran by two of the coolest people you will meet that deliver the most diverse tap wall in the area. If you love craft beer then this is the spot for you. Bring your own food and relax.

I LOVE this place! I called 2 weeks before my party to reserve a keg of Back Pew Blue Testament. The Hop Stop had it ready for me on time, let me rent a tap, and loaded it up for me (and I got to listen to their record collection while I waited). I cant wait to go back and have a seat at the bar to try one of theyre brews.

Great little bar. My wife and I went with friends that frequent this bar. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful day. They offer various card games and I belive darts as well. We had a blast. We will definitely go back again.

This place is so cool and fun. The owner Rick and his wife are very knowledgeable about everything beer, wine, and ciders. The main room is pretty small, limited walking space for walking and seating, but if youre lucky enough to get a seat in here, youll quickly make new friends with your neighbor. If youre new to craft beers or havent heard of any of the local breweries they sell, ASK RICK and try what he suggests.If you cant find seating inside, then take your drink to the next building over that is also part of Hops and contains their restroom, (gender neutraldarts, piano, amp you can plug your phone into, huge sofa, card games etc. This is perfect for large groups.Lastly the outdoor patio, its spacious and clean. You can bring any outside food you want and eat here while you sip on the best local craft beers.They always have different events going on throughout the week, follow them on social media to check out their featured local artists that play live music fir everyone to enjoy, keg take overs, crawfish boils and more.In conclusion, this place is great, you will enjoy the drinks, you can bring large groups, theres plenty of entertaining things to do, and theres free wifi!!! The first time my buddies and I went to hop stop was for beer obviously, it was the closet craft beer joint near my house. We loved the atmosphere so much, the beer section is great, and the owners are all around wonderful people. If you are looking for a place to sit and have a beer or get a growler to go, try the Hop stop. You will not regret it.

The Hop Stop fills a huge void in Humble. Rick and Dawn are good people. Great vibe in the place - from the all-vinyl tunes to the crowd the establishment attracts. Plus, they have great beer! The owners love beer and can talk intelligently about beer. Every day they are putting new beers on tap, so the beer menu always has a fresh feel to it. If you love beer, you would be a fool not to stop here often.

Amazing place for craft beer. The draught selection is the best in the area and they have a pretty great bottle selection as well. All of the staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Cozy hole in the wall with friendly people and great, mostly local craft beer always rotating. Rick is knowledgeable and is always working to get world-class beers into his bar. I love this place and you will too if you love craft beer! Come on in and sit down with Rick and Dawn, learn about whats on tap and then experience some great craft brews and music. If you get hungry step over to Grannys Tamales and get something to eat. The patio is a wonderful place to hang out and pass some time on a nice afternoon. Already one of my favorite hangouts.
